Just updated W10 TechPreview to Build 9860 - PC Settings are not opening but only docking to tool bar?

As PC Settings are not opening I'm not able to check for the newest build 9878 to download and upgrade. WHAT to do WHERE pls. ? WIN+C opens the charms bar where I'm still able to select Settings and then "Change PC Settings" BUT it only
docks on to the tool bar ....

Had a similar issue, fixed by running Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
and reboot.

That happened to me for a short period of time after I updated. It didn't do it with all apps, but it did it with a few here and there. Try a few basic standard troubleshooting steps. Close all apps and reset the iPad.
In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
You can also try resetting all settings. You will not lose any data, but most of the device settings will have to be entered in the settings app again. Settings>General>Reset>Reset all Settings.
Hopefully it will be something simple, but don't rule out restoring the iOS software, if nothing else works, but start with this easy stuff first.

Ended up with plugins, add-ons, all updated and inadvertently got Firefox 4 instead of 3.6
Things are not better
Believe it is Adobe Reader pages not opening
The pages are opening in Explorer
Have been wasting lots of time working on this for days
Also, Browser activity seems to be happening slower since these changes (like there are two systems fighting)

I checked for newer driver and the result is in attachment. I have a doubt my system has NVIDIA GeForce GT520MX already there. If I download GeForce 314.07 driver will it harm my system ? Pls.revert.

Tap the Bookmark/Favorites Icon; select Favorites; tap on "edit" at the bottom right side of the drop down; tap the red circle with white line and tap delete for each favorite you don't want. Then you should be able to add your favorites in English, or whatever language you want. Hope this helps.

Hi, I use Mail.app and sometimes it times out when waiting for a response from the ISP. I've had this happen when other apps are using up all the bandwidth, but also for random reasons. It's not an OS X thing, as the same thing happens with my OS 9 box. Some ISP servers are just flaky!
What OS version are you running? I seem to recall that later versions of 10.3 and 10.4 fix some network-related problems, but you'd have to check the release notes to make sure.

I have requested and accepted the most current Firefox program updates with my windows vista system. They are not registering but I am told they are downloaded. Then I cannot get the printer option to work with any version of firefox. in English

I have taken the firefox updates when offered to 4.4. I have the browser as an aside to Internet Explorer 9 as a backup browser. When I use Firefox I am being told my system is not up to date and I need a newer version. I download the version and keep getting told I am not current with firefox. When Firefox DOES work I cannot get any printer icon or settings to enable and allow the printing of a page. I have to use IE9 to get the printer to work. Using eBay I cannot get the uploading of pictures from my computer to consistently operate even though I use small JPG files under 500KB.

Did you reinstall an older Firefox 3.6.x version (3.6.16 is current)?
This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

I am not sure what your problem is, can you give more details.
One possibility is you may be in full screen mode, for details on fixing that see the [[menu bar is missing]] article.
If you are missing various toolbar items, see the [[back and forward or other toolbar items are missing]] article.
If your problem is something else please give more details.

Sorry, but Apple does not provide a downgrade path for iOS.
Because downgrading is unsupported by Apple we cannot discuss it on these forums, but you can use Google to find information on how to install an older version of iOS on any device.
Note that you will void the warranty and loose official support by Apple.

I don't understand your last paragraph.
"The home page also has a full bar ..." What does "full bar" mean? " ... instead of the tray it had before." What does "tray" mean?
Anyway, you might try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout

Aren't they in your iTunes library? If so, sync them back to your phone. If not, redownload them (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519).
