Key figure definition in BEx gives "Error loading template 0QUERY_TEMPLATE"

Hi,
On a BI 7.0 system I try to run a query in the BEx Analyzer and after I have the result in Excel. I wants to see the key figure definition by right clicking in a data cell.
Then I get this error message after the browser has started up.
Error loading template 0QUERY_TEMPLATE
Notification Number BRAIN 276
Any ideas how this can be?

hi,
Please check the below path in BI and set the template "0ANALYSIS_PATTERN" there:
SPRO ->SAP Netweaver -> BI ->Settings for reporting and analysis ->BEX Web -> Set Standard Web Templates -> Ad-hoc analysis -> set the above template and save it.
check wether it works afterwords or not.
This is the standard web template called every time when we execute our query's.

Hello Everybody,
When i go to Business Explorer - Web Application Designer - Publish and click on In BEx Broadcaster ,an error message is displayed when this is loaded saying :
Error loading template 0BROADCASTING_TEMPLATE
When I tried installing 0BROADCASTING_TEMPLATE an error message was displayed as :
Object Web Template Name 0BROADCASTING_TEMPLATE is not available in version D
This means that 0BROADCASTING_TEMPLATE is not available in delivered version .
Is this any other way to install this template or can this template be separately installed,if yes plz tell me how to do it.If this template cannot be installed separately then,is there no other way to activate BEx broadcasting functionality in BW .Kindly revert back at earliest as I am suffering with this issue since many days.my Email Id is [email protected] .

Symptom
In a BW 3.5 system, you want to define the Standard Web Templates and you call Transaction RSCUSTV11 to do this, however the system displays only the fields "Style sheet" and "Template properties".

RSCUSTV11, RSCUSTV21, 0QUERY_TEMPLATE, 0ADHOC, 0BROADCASTING_TEMPLATE, 0ANALZYER, 0QUERY_TEMPLATE_BROADCASTING, 0DOC_TEMPLATE2, standard Web template
Solution
In a BW 3.5 system, use Transaction RSCUSTV21 to maintain the Standard Web Templates.

Key Figure Definition - Context Menu of Querys

Hi experts,
After an upgrade from 3.x to 7.0, we´re having some problems to access the option "key figure definition" in the query context menu. When we access this context menu option, the filters are not passed between windows and some errors appears.
Have you ever seen something similar? how can I solve it? I looked for some similar issues in the forum, but I didn't find anything.

Is it possible for a query to be affected by patchs of BEx frontend? I mean, when we're running a query and we try to access the context menu->key figure definition option, we're not watching the key figure restrictions and we get an error in the popup. Can we get the error because of a BEx frontend patch?

Error loading template 0BROADCASTING_TEMPLATE

Hello Everybody,

In all this it shows Installation of 0BROADCASTING_TEMPLATE as a warning .Does this means that installation is successful,bcoz now also when i open BEx Broadcaster same error message is displayed.Do i need to restart the server.If you could send me ur Email Id then i wll send you screenshot of results there ,as this is not very clear from here.

Web UI Client - Error Loading template 0TPLB_MKTG_C01_Q0001_V01

I have activated the Template in BI Content and able to check the same in WAD and also in RS Template Maintain in BI system.
But as soon as i go to CRM Web UI portal and click on that link its saying Error Loading template 0TPLB_MKTG_C01_Q0001_V01.
I have also given the settings in CRM SPRO --> Display SAP BI Netweaver Reports --> Given the Web Template id, but still iam not able to get the template worked..
Could any one of you suggest.

Error loading template 0TPLB_0CSAL_C01_Q0021_1

Dear all,
I am running BI 7.0 for 2 years and implementing CRM in a separate server now. We have CRM Web UI set up and has using links to BI reports.
It is frustrated since most links are using BW 3.X template and I am running BI 7.0 so I have to trace and install BW 3.x BI-CONTENT in 7.0 system. I was able to track down the data source of business content in CRM side and the data source, DSO, infocube, query and webtemplate in BI side. I ran through the CRM interactive reporting configuration guide (C41) and BI Connectivity (B84). I am sure the connection is setup between CRM and BI and the data source from the both sides are activated. I test and the web template 0TPLB_0CSAL_C01_Q0021_is working from BI side. I also added the web template in SPRO - CRM -> CRM analytics -> Define BI report in CRM.
However, when I click on the report - customer report with open activities from CRM Web UI and am getting the error -Error loading template 0TPLB_0CSAL_C01_Q0021_1. is anything I need to setup so I can pull the web template in CRM from BI?
The only thing I confuse which is BWA5. For example, the data sources for 0TPLB_0CSAL_C01_Q0021_1 is 0CRM_CONTACT_OUT at RSA5 and I don't see 0CRM_CONTACT_OUT in BWA5. Do I need to create one in BWA5?

Key Figure Aggregate in Bex Query

I am using BI7.0; but 3.5x BEx tools
I am loading 6 fields from a flat file. I am loading data for tickets. I have create an InfoObject that counts the number of tickets. No problem. Also I also have key figures that I am assigning the same value to all Charactersitics: 10,30 per ticket.
The Key figures are (Sum) with a Summation aggregation type.
In my Query, the 10,30 aggregate up based on the number of tickets (characteristic) that are available.
Question: How do I remove/stop my key figures from aggregating up (sums) the values of 10, 30 based on the charactersitic? I want only 10, 30 to be present regardless of the number of tickets (constant value applied to the key figure).
Should I change my aggregation type? If so, to what? I see a number of options, such as Last Number, No aggregation, etc

Key Figure units in Fact Table - Error

All -
When a run a report off of a cube, some row display 0 when there are corresponding values in my cube. The report doesn't agree with LISTCUBE. I have ran transaction RSRV on my cube and tested the "Key figure units in fact tables of Infocube" and I get an error saying that 1380 units are missing from fact table.
Diagnosis
In the fact table /BIC/FEU_FRCTS records have been found that contain values other than zero for key figures that have units, but that have no value for the unit of the key figure. Since the value of the unit has to correspond to the value of the key figure, this inidicates an error when the data was loaded. The values of the units have not been loaded into BW correctly. Choose Details to display the incorrect records.
Does anyone know what this error means? How do I solve this problem?

hi Nyrvole,
as the message said, you have keyfigures with unit but the unit value not filled, click 'detail' as suggested to check which keyfigure(s) involved, that go to rsd2 type in that keyfigure and see which infoobject unit is used, then check transfer/update rules how this unit infoobject mapped, try correct the values and upload again.
there is option 'repair' in rsrv but think in this case it can't fix the error, just try.

Key figure data in BEx report

Hi,
We are viewing some of the Key figure data of a particular report as ".", "$21.99MIN" etc, where $21.99 is the original value. When we click on the excel sheet cell and view in the formula bar, data is showing $21.99 correctly. But it is appearing as "$21.99MIN". In some places just"." is appearing where data can be seen in the formula bar.
Tried, converting to Formula option, with which we can see the numbers but as usual it is behaving as a normal excel sheet after applying the function.
Please suggest how to view the correct data for the report.

It is a direct key figure. Two key figures in the query are displayed like this, while other KFs are displating the values as it is. Also i checked the data in Multi provider, BEx definition of the info object etc, there is no problem.

Unit in Key Figure Definition

Hi,
This is very basic question.
While defining the key-figure, we heve fields, 'Fixed Unit of Meas.' and 'Unit/Currency' in the 'Type/Unit' tab. Could any one can tell me that what is the difference between these two fields and its significance. Generally in 'Unit/Currency' we give '0BASE_UOM' which itself is a Unit Info-object. And in the definition of '0BASE_UOM', reference Info-object is '0UNIT'. So why hierarchy is like that?

Hi Nitin,
If you define some UoM in the Fixed Unit of Measure then for that keyfigure the UoM is "fixed". Normally keyfigures can be used on multiple planning areas and or infocubes and you do not want to have the UoM fixed. You define the UoM in the Planning Area so that the keyfigure stores data based on the Planning Area UoM in that case. In case of usage of keyfigure in an Infocube the UoM is maintained in a separate characteristic like 0BASE_UOM or 0UNIT.
Since the same infoobject can have usage in multiple cases it is not advisable to put in a Fixed UoM during definition.

Calculated key figure definition dropping off

I have a query with lots of calculated key figures (ckf). As I create more ckfs, the underlying definition of some ckf as old as 2 years old are removed. When I run the report, it throws error. What I have done is to put pack these calculations and it works. What can I do to stop the definitions from dropping?

Multi provider objects and restricted key figure definition

I have the following scenario:
1. I have a multi provider which is used as a template to build a second multiprovider the difference being one of the part provider cubes is replaced by a new cube
2. There is a query built off the original multi provider which consists of a restricted key figure. The definition of the restricted key figure is as follows
    Characteristic 1 - restricted to records with value 'A'
    Characteristic 2 - restricted to records with value 'Blue'
    Key Figure - Total Amount
3. If I go to the original multiprovider and look at how the characteristics are identified and the key figure assigned the details are as follows
     Characteristic 1 - identified from all part providers including the part provider to be replaced
    Characteristic 2 - identified from all part providers including the part provider to be replaced
    Total Amount - assigned from two part providers (which are also involved in the identification of   Characteristic 1 and 2) not including the part provider to be replaced
4. In the new multi provider the details are as follows
Characteristic 1 - identified from all part providers excluding the replacement part provider
    Characteristic 2 - identified from all part providers excluding the replacement part provider
    Total Amount - assigned from two part providers (which are also involved in the identification of   Characteristic 1 and 2) not including the part provider to be replaced
My thoughts are that it does not matter that Characteristic 1 and 2 cannot be identified from the new part provider since as long as the two part providers which are used to assign Total Amount are available in the new multi provider the values shown from the restricted key figure will be the same. Is this correct? Thanks

Yes this is correct. As long as you are reporting on Total Amount, the replacement cube will not make a difference because you never identified total amount from it. Did you face any issues?

Calculated key figures are returning the word "ERROR"

the calculated key figures which i used in one query are displaying the word "ERROR" at the end of the results as part of each cells formatting.But when i copied the same query to my system then its not showing the word error and even i created one more query which is a replica of the first one and then also iam not getting the error .
what might be the cause of this issue . kindly suggest me how to control the word error in the out put

you can control the way BW displays exceptions with customizing (SPRO) transaction RSCUSTV4.
identify differences of these settings in your systems and apply them accordingly.

I am working in BEx , My requirement is that ... out of two Variables (User entry) if i select one variable i need to get 4 key figures in out put . If i enter another variable i need to display only 2 key figures out of 4 in columns . I would appreciate if ant one could come out with a solution.
