Keyboard on my Lumia 1520 "running amok" when pres...

I've got a weird issue on my Nokia Lumia 1520. Ever now and then when I'm chatting on Skype and want to erase a misspelled word, the keyboard goes wild and starts typing randomly letters and symbols. Then I'm forced to close down the app and restart it. This is not an issue on any other app they uses the keyboard.
Any idea's?

Hi,
The only thing you might do in this scenario is leaving the screen unlocked so that the WiFi connections stays active. This works best if you leave your phone connected to power supply.
You can play around with the Windows Phone lock screen and WiFi connection settings here. If your screen locks your WiFi connection might take pauses in the connection thus resulting in delayed delivery of notifications.

  • Lumia 1520: iritating button behavior

I was sent here as a response to my facebook message.
I was a bit upset that I was turning the sound off when I put my samsung to sleep because of their stupid button layout.
Now I notice that I'm changing the volume on my lumia when ever I touch
the power button and one of the volume buttons in my pocket without
logging in to the phone too.
Have I just stumbled upon a conspiracy between mobile companies to make me miss calls?!
I included a video to demonstrate the behavior, (sorry for the potato quality, and I can't upload video for some reason so I included a youtube link)

As in the title it is a Lumia 1520, running Lumia Black

    Thank you.
I can understand how a suport team isn't able to fix this, the software team should be able to fix it though.
I can't think of a single senario where this behavior can be seen as usefull and find it hard to believe an issue like this could have been overlooked during testing.
I still think it is an awesome phone, the best hardware I have ever owned and handled but the software, at times it makes me mis testing early android nightlies

I´ve got Skype running simultaneously on my PC with Windows Ultimate 7 and my Lumia 1520 running with Windows Phone 8.1.
Messages i receive such as pictures and text messages, will show up on my Windows 7 with absolutly no delay what so ever. This is not the case on my Lumia 1520. There´s a delay for up to a minute before the same message appears on my phone.
Both units are connected to my WIFI and the problem with the delay only occours when my Lumia 1520 is connected to WIFI and newer when I´m connected to my cellphone operators 4G.
What is the reason for this and is there something that I can do to correct it?

  • Nokia Lumia 1520 Screen Glitch / Random Things Hap...

So it's kind of hard to explain, but my lumia 1520 was fine when I first got it, but sometimes I can't press anything on the screen, and there are times where bing search will just activate, or it will open up the "listening" function, or it willl just do crazy things. like it's being "hacked" haha. I know it's not, but it just gets so glitchy, i've tried soft reset, and hard reset, and have restored from backup, and nothing seems to work, I recently restored from a backup from several months ago with my old lumia 1020. so far so good, but it will probably start to glitch out again. I don't want to resort to "start afresh as a new phone" because i'm pretty sure you will lose everything? like..contacts and things? hope someone has an answer or has had similar troubles

Welcome to Microsoft Mobile Community, hogsrule. Have you tried the suggestions of adrianhughes? For the best experience with the Lumia 1520 touch screen, in case you have the same phone model, we encourage you setting the touch sensitivity to normal. To change touch sensitivity, select Settings > touch > Touch sensitivity > Normal. We're hoping that your phone's performance improved by doing it. All the best!

  • Nokia Lumia 1520 is heating up even when it is idl...

    Hi,
I am using Noikia Lumia 1520 for th past 3 Months. But today I have noticed that it is bit hot on the top right corner(in and around Camera). It was idle for long. I had not used my phone for more than 2 hous and it was just idle. So I switchd off it for some time. Then it became normal. Why like this? Can any one share your expiences? Other than switch off, any other solution?
    Regards
    SenthilAndavan

Please be careful.  Some warmth is common as it is like a small micro computer. Also make sure you do not have any open windows/apps running in the backround.... hold the arrow key down and all the open windows will show up and you will be able to close them all individually.  I am asking you to be careful because mine was not plugged in or running anything it was idle and I was asleep.  when I woke the bottom near the USB port was melted.  I went to my local AT&T store and they called the warranty dept and told them that the phone should be covered under warranty as the phone malfunctioned, but the warranty dept will not cover it because of the physical damage.  The phone got so hot it melted the plastic, I'm glad no one besides my phone got hurt.  Sorry this isn't an answer, but don't want to see you stuck with a very expensive phone that they won't rplace under the warranty.   Good luck

  • Lumia 1520 reboots when front camera is used

Hi all, I picked up an international version of the Lumia 1520 a couple of weeks back in India and I just realized that the phone reboots when ever I try to use the front camera. This is happening with all apps. The apps that i have tried till now are as follows
OneShot, Nokia Camera, Default camera app and Camera360.
The reboot happens with all the apps only when I try to use the front camera. I have tried hard resetting the phone but that too has not solved the problem. I have seen a couple of discusstions on this topic over here but none of them contained any helpful replies.
The handset is running the Lumia Black update. I'm wondering if this is a hardware issue or software issue. If it is a software issue I dont mind waiting for a patch, but if it is a hardware issue then I have no option but to reutrn to it. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I purchased a Nokia Lumia 1520 from Snapdeal. 2 days after using the phone, I inserted an SD card for data transfer and it didn't work with the phone. I tried to format the SD card as per Nokia forums and also tried to reset the phone but to no help. I took the handset to Nokia Care (Net Dot Solutions, Tilak Nagar, Delhi) and they tried to do a software upgrade but to no help.
I submitted the brand new working phone and the Nokia care kept it for 15 days. The only reply I ever got from them was that the set is in the factory with no status update at all. After 15 days I got response from Nokia care that the Phone is warranty devoid and not covered under warranty any more. There was no specific reason given for the warranty being devoid.
When I went to collect the set, it had minor scratches on the screen, which were not there when the set was submitted. The support personnel said that these are very minor and expected to be there. Very Strange! Also upon using the phone after I got it back from Nokia Care, I found that the front Camera is not working and the phone crashes each time the Camera is opened. Also the Auto-Brightness control (probably due to its sensor) is also not working.
Nokia care has damaged my phone in the 15 days they had it. Who is to be held responsible. And now they say my phone is warranty devoid and I need to pay for any repairs.
    NOKIA Care - Disgusting!

  • Lumia 1520 does not support Bluetooth Keyboard (HI...

I would very much like to buy a Lumia 1520 as it would spare me from carrying both a phone and a tablet.
However, I am not going to as, for reasons which utterly defeat me, the Bluetooth stack does not support a keyboard. The HID (Human Interface Device) aspect has not been included.
I am utterly baffled by this simple omission. From my Nokia N95 through to my N8 I was able to use a keyboard. I even still have a Nokia one which folds.
Would someone from Nokia be good enough to:-
    a. let me know why this bit of simple but basic functionality has been left out?
    b. when, if ever, it is likely to be included in an update?

    Agreed on all points -
    1. Lack of HID support is a glaring omission that needs to be fixed
    2. Microsoft is responsible for omitting HID support (which existed in Windows Mobile 6.5!)
    3. There is hope for the future when Nokia/Microsoft collaboration is tighter after the merger.
As mentioned above, a WP device can see a bluetooth keyboard - it can even perform the pairing handshake.  It generates a random code, you enter the code on the BT keyboard, the two become paired.  But then nothing.
I can add a little insight to this conversation: If you were to ask Microsoft folks, the answer would probably go something like this: "We have a finite number of resources.  So to support one feature, we'd have to cut something else.  What feature would you be willing to lose in exchange for HID support?"
I am basing this on similar conversations I've seen on MSFT discussion boards about support for entire-device backups - not piece-meal app-supported "in the cloud" data storage, but total backup/restore functionality.
I personally think it is embarassing that Windows Phone does not support the HID profile.  I know we're getting close.  The code is already on Windows RT for tablets.  So I sure hope it's in the pipeline for WP.  Time will tell I suppose.

  • Nokia Lumia 1520 video recording on Microsd card i...

First off, I have a Nokia Lumia 1520 for about one month now.  I love the screen size and everything.  My picture/video recording to phone memory works fine.  I have recently purchased a Class 10 Sandisk Pixtor 64GB microsd card from Best buy for video/pictures storage due to this device having only 16GB of memory.
    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/sandisk-pixtor-64gb-microsdhc-class-10-memory-card/1299201.p?id=12190475...
Picture taking is fine writing to this card.  However, I noticed that on all video recording mode (720p to 1080p), the video would sometimes skip and lose a few frames here and there.  For example, when i try to record a video of a kid running, the video playback will show the kid run across but would jerk or freeze a bit during his run (almost like the phone is too busy doing other tasks during recording).  Playing the same videos on a computer show the same result which means the video taken were bad to begin with.  My temporary fix is to switch video/picture recording to the phone storage itself but that defeats buying the sd card in the first place.
Anybody else having this issue?  I couldn't find another microsd card to test but i wonder if the phone itself is having a performance issue with sd cards in general.  Should i engage with tech support from Nokia?

It is quite well known that Class10 card are overkill on a mobile phone and in many cases have been proven to actually have worse performance when compared to even Class4 cards.
Class10 cards really only make sense in (high end) DSLR ca,eras where itis a requirement the shots can be written to the card fast. In practical use the class only indicates the card cab sustain a transferrate of X MB/s and with that in mind a Class4 card even will be plenty fast for your mobiel phone.
Due to the fact a Class10 card is basically overspec for the hardware it may even cause timing issues.

  • Nokia Lumia 1520 OVERHEATED Symptoms and Died Afte...

My new phone Nokia Lumia 1520 is beautiful and it works great.  I like its big 6" screen and everything else it was designed to do.
However, for first two months of using this new phone, it started showing overheating problem.  I remember overheating occurred at least 4-5 times in last two month period.  Last time overheat issue got really worst yesterday.  It was not hot enough to burn your skin but It got to the point of intolerable.  Overheat happens when my phone was heavily in use: frequent calls, texting, and internet usage, and other apps running in background like Microsoft OneDrive Cloud.  I talk many times over 15 and 30 minutes long on the phone, and the phone heats up.  When it overheated, I stopped using the phone and let it cooled.  It cooled off after it has a little rest.  The battery was always good; it runs almost of the entire day and only needs recharge at end of day.
Then until yesterday, I turned on the feature "Internet Hotspot Sharing" in Settings for very first time to get my laptop online.  I worked on my laptop for several hours.  When I got home last night, Nokia Lumia 1020 was completely knocked out.  It went blank and unresponsive.  I left it charging the entire night.  This morning, it didn’t even turn on or off.  It was just a dark screen, dead weight.
Today I am going to take it back to AT&T service store and have it checked out.  I went online today and found this overheat discussion going on, and so here I post my facts to share with everyone.
Usage in 2 month period (60 days):
Phone calls: 1,503 times,  25.1 calls per day
Phone call length at least 60 minutes: 1 time
Phone call length at least 30 minutes: 17 times
Phone call length at least 15 minutes: 66 times
    Total minutes used: 5,271 minutes
Total Picture/Video /Text/Data Used: 735 times, 24.5 messages per day
    Data used: 168 times
    Text used: 476 times
Picture & Video Used: 91 times
Total data used: 3,695 MB or 3.6 GB

Looking at the statistic of many people reporting overheat problems with the phone.  Does that tell you something?  I think Nokia is aware of their inferior product.  Nokia needs to improve their product quality or risk of losing customers like me.  I'm one of many reports about overheat problem.  This is not an issolated issue; it's commonly reported from users like me regarding this phone.
I will be happy to show you proof of my transaction with AT&T.  I can post it here for everyone to see.  I bet if you go to Nokia assembling facility, you would probably see tons of returned overheat phones.  Research it yourself rather than speculating.  Your thought is irrelevant to the overheat issue experiencing by users.
The replacement phone I received from AT&T seems to be working fine now.  It's working ok.  Overheat issue has disappeared from the replacement phone.  I will post my comment again if overheat issue repeats.  Technology we using today is just a temporary for a better invention and idea tomorrow.  Remember we have progressed from a little pager device clipped to your waiste 20 years ago to smartphone screen today?

  • Lumia 1520's camera

Hi. I just bought the Lumia 1520. I'm from the Philippines. After turning it on I went to the main camera to check out the 20mp camera.i was a bit disappointed because the camera was noisy and yes I used both the native app and the Nokia pro camera. Comparing it with my old Lumia 920, the 920 had less noise, and it even took better pictures on low light. Do I have a defected phone? I went back to the store to take a comparison with the same unit which is the 1520 and yes both cameras were noisy. Is this has something to do with the software or my phone has a defect??

  • Real Mail Problems On Lumia 1520

Just got my first Windows phone, because I have always used Windows... remember 3.1?  I have used Androids and iPhones - but never great fit for work AND home use.  So, there is enough software available on tablets to start making them a real business tool.  But who wants to carry around a tablet and a phone?  I am sorry, I move around and work in a lot of different businesses, so a backpack or a messenger bag just is not an option.  So I look at and play with a demo Nokia Lumia 1520 - wow - looks great, pretty light, pretty thin, beautiful screen, responsive, Office - hey, maybe I do not need a tablet and a phone after all!!  The keyboard is a really nice size and if Microsoft proportions it better in 8.1 it would ROCK.  I can actually fill out forms and do some real work on this.  Not to mention a lot of the new features of 8.1 - this looked like a real keeper.  Researched and it has some nice reviews.  All of the reviews I have read were pretty positive - no major problems mentioned.
Bought it.  Brought it home and started to set it up.  I have never had a problem setting up my work e-mail on any android or iPhone I have ever used.  I work for a non-profit which by law has to have a secure mail system.  Like I said, I have never had a problem setting up mail before on any android or iPhone.  But it is a "no go" with the Nokia 1520.  This became over 8 hours of reasearch and talking to Microsoft Support.  Guess what - because the 1520 has an SD card capability and cannot encrypt the SD card, the phone cannot be used with Exchange Mail if it requires security settings.  Remember, by law my mail has to be secure.  So when I try to use my e-mail I get  the message "...requires that certain security policies be enforced before you can sync your information. Contact a support person or your service provider. Last tried x minutes ago with error code 85010013"
My phone calls to my office phone are digitized and sent to me through secure e-mail.  Opps - no longer get phone messages easily.  Cannot get work e-mail unless I bring a computer, another phone, a tablet, or go back to my office between travels.  That size advantage has just disappeared.  The phone is not a brick, but it is close to it.  I think that Nokia should put a warning on their web site, along with Microsoft and ATT, that "THIS PHONE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO SYNC WITH ALL EMAIL ACCOUNTS"
OK - 1520 uses Microsoft OS, mail uses Microsoft Exchange, and they cannot work together.  This problem has been known for quite some time now.  No patch.  No solution.  Microsoft is aware of the problem.  When I asked if they were working on a solution the reply was do not count on it - they may or may not be - they do not announce patches.  So for a $600 phone(I got 32gb) would you take a chance that maybe sometime down the road that phone MIGHT be able to access secure mail?  Do they expect to sell this phone to a lot of business clients with corporate e-mail accounts?  To be honest - I see this as being a No Brainer.  Obviously, ATT, Nokia, and Microsoft have...  What a waste for what would otherwise be a great phone!

    +1
I'm having the EXACT same problem.

  • Lumia 1520 Discharges 18% per hour in standby with...

When we first got 1520 6 weeks ago, battery performance was pretty good but now
    1. Lumia 1520 Discharges 18% per hour in standby with no background tasks runinng
    2. Took 1520 back to Microsoft Store and have now had 2 replacements and all behave the same
Discharge between 18 and 22% per hour - no data, no tasks running and phone not even being used

Thanks for those who replied - so the issue is now basically solved
    What we did was :
    1. Reset phone
    2. Setup phone as a new phone and did not download any of our purchased apps from Microsoft Store
    3. Voila - battery now behaves perfectly - discharge rate is 2.53% per hour - down from over 18%
    4. So although - we never had any apps runnig when the battery was discharging at 18% - we surmise that some app was behaving badly
    5. Now all we need to do is to find out which app was the culprit
Thanks again to forum members for their input

  • My Nokia Lumia 1520 has a plethora of issues

This is mainly about my Nokia Lumia 1520, but also some other Nokia Lumia phones.
After I inherited my Nokia Lumia 1520 I had to wait a few weeks before I could install Windows Phone 8.1 (Blue) + Nokia Lumia Cyan on it, after doing so I signed in with my Microsoft-account (as it was of a deceased family member before, and I was using his Microsoft-account, so I had to factory reset it), after resetting it I noticed a plethora of issues that weren't present in Windows Phone 8, no offence to anyone at Microsoft, but Windows Phone 8 had absolutely 0 bugs I ever experienced, no crashes, no oddities, ever since the new operating system was released all my phones as well as my ex-girlfriend's and my girlfriend's phones have been experiencing issues, but none more than my Nokia Lumia 1520, here is a summation of each phone. Note that I am a huge Windows Phone fanboy, so I have purchased several devices for multiple people, and I'll write what they've told me down here too. Note that most are either Nokia Lumia or Microsoft Lumia, but one is by the Cantonese manufacturer, Huawei so I don't know if that will be considered (ir)relevant by the moderators.
    Nokia Lumia 1520:
    * Sometimes the touch-screen randomly doesn't respond (which is really annoying while playing Age of Empires: Castle Siege where I lost the chance to get several British banners due to this error), this recovers sometimes by going stand-by, but this alternates and seems completely random when the screen gets responsive again, and when not.
    * It randomly starts pressing physical buttons, and when I try to press them it's not recognized by the phone, and there is no way to turn my phone off or even put it in stand-by while it's doing this.
    * There is no back-up for settings and app data, it did this before but for some reason it does notify me that I haven't backed up in a while and any attempt to back it up is met with countless of errors, before my phone backs up my data again I don't want to factory reset it because I don't want important data to get lost, so please help me fix this.
    * It sometimes starts crashing random applications with provocation.
    * Sometimes it won't charge.
    * It crashes randomly while playing videos on Google YouTube and other websites.
    * It can't download Lumia Help + Tips.
    * Sometimes the screen goes all black, and the camera stops to work, but here is the odd part, whenever I click on the back-button and hold it it shows me the ''open'' applications, but they all remain black.
    * Half of the time when I take pictures with it there is a 3 second delay, and most of the time those pictures aren't saved, so I only use it to take screenshots, and maybe 1 in every 10 screenshot is actually saved.
    * It won't show the profile pictures of my Microsoft Skype-contacts.
    * The calendar doesn't work on the lock-screen, and shows me the wrong information all the time.'
    * Cortana randomly starts in the middle of other things.
    * Internet Explorer Mobile randomly crashes and closes the tab I'm on at that moment.
    * Internet Explorer Mobile randomly opens tabs I didn't ask for.
    Nokia Lumia 920:
    * The phone sometimes won't restart after going completely off unless one would hard reset it.
    * There is no back-up for settings and app data, it did this before but for some reason it does notify me that I haven't backed up in a while and any attempt to back it up is met with countless of errors, before my phone backs up my data again I don't want to factory reset it because I don't want important data to get lost, so please help me fix this. (note for my Nokia Lumia 920 this happened after I returned from Hanoi, the issue has been constant on my Nokia Lumia 1520 even while it was in Europe)
    * Microsoft Skype crashes when I want to upload a picture or drawing (unique to this specific phone, it works seamless on all the other devices).
    * Microsoft Cortana often notifies me about news, but can't fetch anything when I click on the message in the Action Centre.
    * It can't download Lumia Help + Tips.
    * On some (Vietnamese) Wi-Fi connections it can't update nor download several applications regardless of size (for example an Angry Birds game called Angry Birds Go! that is nearly 1 G.B. nor an 8 M.B. N.O.R.A.D. Santa Tracker).
    * When there is a flippable protective case around it the cellular network will crash, and can only be restored after rebooting it, before I got S.I.M. errors on it nearly 5 times a day, each time it required me to restart my phone.
    * It permanently shows 2 unread mails in Microsoft Outlook and 8 in Google Mail for no reason, I have 0 mails in Yahoo! Mail but it does tell me that I have ''unread'' ones in several (NON-EXISTING) folders.
    * The Calendar doesn't appear on the lock-screen, and if it does it's either several weeks too late, or shows me messages for months about things that happened last year.
    * Sometimes one ear-plug goes without sound, rather than being a hardware problem it gets fixed by rebooting the phone.
    * Sometimes I can't copy or paste anything.
    * Internet Explorer Mobile often doesn't recognize images I want to save, while somehow it does recognize those same images either the day before and/or the next time.
    Nokia Lumia 520:
    * The phone sometimes won't restart after going completely off unless one would hard reset it.
    * It doesn't recognize the Micro-S.D. card it did before (it worked while on Lumia Cyan).
    * It can't download Lumia Help + Tips.
    * It sometimes won't charge.
    Nokia Lumia 530 Dual S.I.M.:
    * After inserting a Micro-S.D. card it can't download in-app videos (Microsoft Skype) or voice messages (WhatsApp-Messenger) or even links (Facebook Messenger).
    * It can't download Lumia Help + Tips.
    * Sometimes it doesn't recognize the 2nd S.I.M. Card.
    * Like before, the Calendar doesn't function on the lock-screen.
    Microsoft Lumia 353:
    * Touch related issues similar to the Nokia Lumia 1520 as expressed above.
    Huawei Ascend W1:
    * The phone will detect low storage even when there is lots of free space.
Unrelated to these phones, but still ''Nokia'' hardware is the Nokia charger that comes with Nokia Lumia phones for some reason doesn't work, I mean like ever, and Microsoft forces me to buy new chargers, plus I still use the charger I had on my old H.T.C. Windows Phone for my Nokia Lumia 920. All the above phones have many more issues, but I just simply can't remember them right now.

Confirm that Date / Time settings are correct.

  • Nokia Lumia 1520 ,experience full of dissapointmen...

First of all, I was very eager to switch to Windows Phone and I am not a hater. It is a gem in a lump of coal.
Buying a phone is not that easy for me from financial reasons. Since Lumias are hard to get to in my country I got my hands on an unbranded unpacked Lumia 1520. A friend of my bought it from another country for me. I was very hyped about it and even throught out the issues I've faced i still am.
I never dropped my phone and I always kept it safe and secure. There is not a dent on it.
After a few weeks the side buttons of the phone started to lose their hardness and begin to flunk in the body.
I managed to ignore it since they all were working.
The earpiece speaker is an utter disaster. When set 5/10 the speaker is cracking.
And than came the screen. While in the task manager / switch apps window i noticed that the black rectangular windows leave a trace, something like contrast issues.  That started to bug me. It was a new phone and the screen already failed me.
After that i noticed that on a white background i can see several brighter spots on the screen. Something like small screenburns. My  love for Windows Phone kept me going even with those issues.
    Than came Lumia Denim....
Not to keep the text longer, my headphones started not to work properly since the update. The phone started to make *clicking* sound through the speaker.
The Wifi lost almost all funcionality. Speed was ridicously slow and losing connection all the time. In the Cyan version the Wifi worked great. It was so weak that I couldn't activate and restore my phone after factory reseting.
    That was it for me.
Since I live in a third world country and Microsoft's support is almost non-existant and the services too I nearly couldn't setup a payment method to purchase apps. And the official nokia service center does not accept the warranty on the phone since it is bought from another country  i cannot return it.
I really really tried to love windows phone and the lumia product line. I don't feel angry at this point. I feel utterly dissapointed. I feel betrayed. I migrated every single service i use in my private and work life to Microsoft services.
PS: Please let there be a DWG viewer for Windows Phone. For God's sake symbian had a dwg viewer.

Sounds to me like the charger you are using is not powerful enough. Are you using the charger that came with the phone? You mentioned adaptors etc so thought you may be charging with another charger. You could also try charging with high output usb chargers, typically ones for tablets.

  • Lumia 1520 Battery Discharge Issue After Updating ...

After updating to Denim, my Nokia Lumia 1520 started to experience the following symptoms:
Phone charges to 100%, I disconnect and use an app like Instagram BETA, Internet Explorer, Lumia Camera, or any game--after no more than 5 minutes of use, the phone gives a "Critical Low Battery" alert and shuts down. If I try to restart phone immediately, it makes it to the AT&T splash screen or lockscreen and then same battery message appears and shuts down. If I wait 10-15 minutes after the shutdown to restart phone (without recharging) the phone will stay on, but battery level will report to be in the low 20s or 10s (whereas no more than 20 minutes ago, it was 100%).
When phone is at 100% battery: I take 2-5 photos or record mere seconds of video and I get the same "Critical Low Battery" alert. Upon restarting, some of the photos or video are nonexistent or corrupt files and battery level is reported at 2-5%.
However, if my phone is plugged in to charger, none of these "Critical Low Battery" alerts come up and I am able to use phone as usual. Considering that I cannot take a vacation and capture nature's beauty with an AC adapter always connected, this is a serious drawback.
    Steps I've Taken:
    Soft-reset
    Full factory-reset
Moved all apps off microSD card (this improved situation maybe 5%)
Disabled almost all background app use in Battery Saver
Replaced microSD card when I thought this was a memory write/read issue
Installed "Battery" app to monitor battery use. After 750 data points were logged, my average battery life is reported at "16 minutes," which sounds about right.
My warranty should be expired since I purchased the phone December 2013, so I'm checking in here if anybody has had any luck with battery replacements or with a solution to this issue? At the same time, this issue arose strictly after updating to Denim and I've seen other users report this EXACT scenario. Is there any hope for Lumia 1520 users on this?
