Keychain Problem. Certificates and Passwords are not remembered.

Every time my macbook comes back from sleep I have to enter in all the passwords for each application. iChat, Mail even my wireless network wep key. It doesn't remember any passwords. Also websites aren't displayed correctly. They have missing images and forms are unreadable. When I open up Safari's activity window there is a bunch of server certificates not valid problems. I can't use facebook, pandora player doesn't load because the server certificate is not valid, ebay, any site with a form is impossible to use. It happens in firefox and safari. My PC opens the pages perfectly. I think this all has to do with keychain. Any ideas?

Finally solved the problem. I feel like an idiot. I had the date set to 2005 on my mac causing problems. It didn't remember any password, network key lost every time it woke from sleep, and had "server certificate not valid" problems with almost every website. Set date to current date and all problems went away.

I receive an error stating user name and password are not valid on my ipad and iphone 3Gs when attempting to load email from my icloud account. When I log onto icloud from my Mac, it wont load the email either.

One day, my ipad and iphone pick up my emails (.mac account) from icloud just fine. the next day, I recieved error messages that say my user name and password are not accurate. I removed the icloud program on both devices and added it back on to both devices and get the same message. I am having the same problem; it started about 24-36 hours ago.
I know my ID/PW combo are correct because I can access all other aspects of iCloud except mail.
iPhone -- returns incorrect ID / Password
iPad -- Same
Mail.app on Mac -- returns incorrect password error
icloud.com -- allows me to log in and use all functions accept mail. When I try to use mail it stays on a white screen for about 60 seconds then returns a dialogue box that indicates a server error.
I contacted Apple and they placed my iCloud account into something called "Troubleshooting" mode. They generated a new strong password and sent it on to "Engineering."
I suspect there are a small number ofo users like you who are affected with the same problem I am. Too small a number for it to be reported as an outtage. I suggest you call Apple and open a case to have your mail investigaged.

FTP login and password are not saved on some sites

On some of my sites the FTP login and password are not saved
(even though the "saved" box is checked). Dreamweaver 8.0 on XP
SP2. I can export the site information and then import the same
file exported and there still will be no login or password placed
in the login or password window. I opened the exported .ste files
in notepad and found the login correct and the password incorrect.
I uninstalled Dreamveaver and reinstalled still same
problem.

Ok, I just spent about 3 hours on this. Here's the latest
that I've found. I had looked at the knowledgebase and my registry
matched what was suggested. As this has been an ongoing issue for
me, I thought it was still an issue. Apparently 8.02 did have some
improvements.
I can only guess that many of the 36 sites I have in the Site
Manager lost info before the .02 update.. or I hope so.
I did however discover that there is still what could be
considered a minor bug. I went in to Manage Sites and selected edit
for all of my sites, fixing the ones that had lost their user/pass
info. I'm not positive, but I think only the last edited site kept
it's data.
I discovered after many checks on all the sites, over and
over and over, that it appears that they are now holding the data,
but, if I add the user/pass, I must not only click the OK button to
close that particular site, but I must also click the 'Done' button
before only that one will be saved.
So, I thought I was fixing logins when in fact I was only
fixing one at a time.. Completely closing 'Manage Site' seemed to
hold one new set of login data each time. Seems that it shouldn't
be this way.
But I must say, I am rejoicing at the moment, as I actually
have all my sites set up with FTP info and I am now looking forward
to hopefully adding more and maybe they'll actually be available
for the next editing session.

My wife has bought an iPad from a friend. My wife has an iphone with an iCloud account. When trying to connect to iCloud from the new iPad it says her username and password are not authorised. Any help

This could be a couple different things.
     The device is not authorized to the Apple ID.
         Continue setup for the ID on the device.
There is an account issue
        Is she able to get signed in at
               Appleid.apple.com
                   and manage the account
Can she get signed in at
Supportprofile.apple.com ?
         How many devices are registered to that Apple ID?

Hi, I am using Win XP SP3, unable to login to Skype, keep getting error:
"Username or password not recognized"
My skype name: thaonguyen_bta
My email: xxxxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxxx
I have tried:
1. Disabling Firewall
2. Disabling anti-virus
3. Installing latest version
4. I follow Instruction: "Problem signing", enter my email xxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxxx, Skype sent to an email with temporay code link, I follow that link, but It is not appear Skype name thaonguyen_bta.
5. I try to login skype website but unsuccessful
6. I try search skype name thaonguyen_bta in Skype and it is still appear,
What should I do now?

I have done what you asked for, disabled Avira and started Skype.
However, I had again exactly the same problem: My login details were not recognized.
Two comments:
1) Different to what you described, I did not have a single box where I could (Un)Active Avira.
Instead, I have three options for (un)activating: (a) Real time scanner, (b) eMail protection, (c) browser protection. (I have translated these words from my German version of Avira, and I hope the translation into English is adequate here.) For doing the test that you wanted me to do, I have unactivated ALL three possibilities, but my login details were still not recognized
2) What do you thing about the issue about changing the hard disk drive ID?
According to this link here http://jasonyi.wordpress.com/2010/08/16/your-skype-name-and-password-were-not-recognized-please-chec... that user had the same problem than I have and changing the hard disk drive ID seemingly resolved the problem. However, I do not know, whether I would cause any instabilities in my computer when I change the HDD ID.

I am having a problem with loging in to my apps as i have had same id and password for all and for two years . youtube music video's helped get through the pain of cancer and the computer help me conect to my friend then i went to mail and i was recieving nothing my doctors all have same passwords and lawyers ,and it would be hard and i could never remember many password changes as i was fine with ,now this is second time google caused this problem and said i must change password as i belived again and did with out anyone accepting it .i con not recieve mail, or go to face book,or google search as was my only browser and they will not accept my id as they say it is wrong as does all othe web sites as well as youtube i am at a loss . please help me . We are fellow users here on these public forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support - I've asked the hosts to remove your email addresses and password from your post. If that is your current password that you've posted for everyone to see then you should change it IMMEDIATELY.
I'm not sure that I understand all of your post. By 'google' do you mean your gmail email accounts ? If you do then how are you trying to access your email, via the Mail app and/or another app on your phone, the Mail program or a browser on your Mac ? If you are using the Mail app on your phone and you've checked your email account's password then you should be able to add that new password on your phone by tapping on the email account in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, then tap on the 'account' at the top of the next screen, and you should then be able to enter the new password. If you are using the Facebook app on your iPhone, and you've changed the password for logging into Facebook, then you should be able to update it on your phone via Settings > Facebook
If you are using the Mail app on your Mac, then to change your gmail password in it (assuming that you've changed the password for it) then go into Mail > Preferences (command-comma), select the Accounts tab on the preferences, select the gmail account on the list of accounts, and on the right-hand side of that screen you should be able to update its password.
If the problems are on your Mac then you might be better off re-posting in one of the other forums (e.g. Safari, and there are forums for various Mac OS X versions), and there is also a Using iPhone forum - this forum is for the iTunes Store e.g. buying, downloading content from iTunes.

I have tried and tried to reset my Apple ID and password and on each web page (under Itunes) it has shown that the information was completely reset and no problems were noticed. When I have put this information into my iphone 4 in order to download my (now 35) updates, the phone says that the password is not correct. I have seriously attempted each step of these two processes at least 20 times but to no avail. Please help and thank you all for sharing.

Maybe the apps were downloaded using a different Apple ID.
Check using iTunes > Get Info on one of the apps.

I was experimenting setting up parental controls on my macbook pro and selected to set up my current account with controls. Apparently my admin name and password are not what i thought, because now I cannot unlock them.

I thought my admin user name and password were the same I sign on with, apparently not because now I am locked out of my own computer. I took two hours to reload mavericks from ap store, because i was told it would give me the option of changing the password. It did not. Sooooo, that's where I am. Thanks for any help.

Usernames and Passwords are not Saved

I made sure that the security option for remembering saved passwords was checked; but the new version of Firefox is NOT saving them; I must enter them each time I visit any site that requires a username or password. There was no problem with version 3 in this regard.

You're welcome and I know the feeling, because I am a senior and get those moments myself.

Export problem - transitions and motion are not clear, lines

I am using FCP with a blend of pictures and video clips. When I do the export, the pictures are showing up pretty clear but the transitions are coming out unclear, like with lines through it. A sample is here:

I'm guessing this has to do with my export settings. I've tried exporting with numerous different settings and still no success. Once I changed the settings and it makes the pictures unclear so the transitions look "not so liney" looking, but that's just because the quality is lower and the blur is preventing the lines from showing as much.
I'm hoping someone can help. I am supposed to be burning this movie to DVD and producing 100 copies by Friday!

Hello! Unfortunately, Firefox Home doesn't currently support password sync–it only supports syncing history, bookmarks, and open tabs. Firefox Sync, which is built-in to Firefox, does support it, but Home doesn't. Sorry!
