KM - Setting state of documents

Hi,
I've exported an entire folder with documents and further folders over WEBDAV into Macromedia Dreamweaver. Now the state of all documents is "in progress".
Is there any possibility to change the state of all documents in one step to "released"? I'm not glad about the idea to publish the documents manually. (about 600 docs).

T-SQL: SET Statement Using a Case Statement is not returning a value

SQL VER: 2008
Please see the attached screenshot from SSMS. The Set statement below is not returned a value or may be returning a zero value. The AllocPercent field is set to zero in code preceeding this Update Statement:

As you can see by the screen shot from the Select Statement that is displaying the results after the Update Statement is completed, the value of AllocPercent is = 0 even though all the values necessary for it to compute a value > 0 are present in the
table. Incidentally, the values in both the AllocBase and PM_Input fields are the same before the Update Statement is ran, as shown in the Select ran after the Update Statement.
I have ran this type of code several times with never a problem. This seems really simple, but I just can't seem to get it to compute.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yep--This statement is running in a Stored Procedure and inside its own block statement.
I did get a response that suggested I change the SET statement as follows, that worked:
AllocPercent
= CASE WHEN AllocBase IS NULL OR AllocBase = 0 THEN 0.00 ELSE cast(PM_Input*1.0/AllocBase*1.0
as decimal(6,2)) END

How do you change the default setting for RTF documents from TextEdit to MS Word

How do you change the default setting for RTF documents from TextEdit to MS Word, I download forms from the Canadian government and they use RTF as a standard, they are supposed to open as MS Word documents (Yes I have Office for MAC 2011) but when download the document it goes to TextEdit which messes up the form format. I can down load it right click and go "open with" MS Word but how can I get the default chnaged to save this step.

In Firefox > Preferences, click the Applications tab. If RTF is there, use the pulldown menu in the Action column to pick MS Word. If RTF is not there, there are instructions here for how to add file types.

Photosho CS Problem - Can't drag a layer set from one document to another one

I have two documents open
On the source document, i want to drag a layer set from this document to a new one, but its not letting me
What would cause this.
My structure for the source document is

     > Adjustment Layer

     > Where I want to insert the Layer Set from source document
     >layer

No error message is given. I just can't drag it into the spot I want to drag the layer set to (its not an individual layer, its a layer set)
Basically, this is all I can do (have to do a correction on how the layers and layer sets work, missing one level from the original post):

On my target document, I want to have the layer set go where the red text is:

can't open any file in DOCUMENTS. Get error message -"No Application set to open document".

I do have the Same Problem with on file in my numbers app. Since i have connected to iCloud and since i have Downloaded iOS on my iPad1.
I can't just Accent that the Doc is gone, since ist has very Important Information for me.
Apple support dös Not really send helpfull Information and it seams they know well about this Problem.
Even if I spend the Time and work on this sheet again...who can Tell it does Not happen again?

Help - setting up a document for A4 printing

Hi everyone,
I am very new to InDesign - using CS5.5. Trying to set up my first A4 document for printing. I an unsure of the printers settings but just want to check in the document - i need to have my background image right to edge of the bleed (3mm), and any text needs to be kept inside the magenta box - or can it go right out to the black line?
My image isn't quite big enough to go right to the top on the bleed line so i have used the same color rectanlge at the top . . . will this work? You can tell its a differnt image. Needs to go right to the edge of the page.
Is there any I need to do specifically to set this up to be printed ? Thanks for any ideas/suggestions/comments

Bleed is area outside the theoretical trim area of your page and it is used to compensate for misalignments during cutting. A typical bleed would be 1/8" or 3mm and any art or color that is intended to reach to the edge of the page after trimming should extend beyond the page edge (black line) by that amount. Set up the document at the trim size (in this case A4) and then press the more options button in the document setup dialog to reveal the Bleed and Slug fields. Enter the bleed amount and press OK and you'll see a new red guide outside the page boundary. Is this a facing apges document? How many pages? How will it be bound?
I'm guessing the Magenta box woould be the margin guides. These are set by you according to what you want, so there is no hard and fast rule for where they might be. Text and other critical content should always be set inside the page bound at least as much as the bleed allowance, however (and I prefer more), because if the cutting is off it will shift the trim outside the page area on one edge, but also inside the page by the same amount on the opposite edge and you don't want the text to be cut off or crowded at the edge.
If your photo is not large enough to extend into the bleed area you shoud either enlarge it, if that won't reduce the resolution too much, find another photo that is big enough, or redisign the page so the phot itself does not need to bleed. A transition form a photo to a colored background, no matter how similar, is nearly always visible.

I have had a similar problem. I have a 1Tb portable Seagate drive which I have been using successfully for backups with time machine on a Macbook running Lion for 18 months.
I decided to upgrade to Mavericks and experienced the same symptoms as above. The machine would not recognise the disk in finder. Disk utilities could see the disk but the partition was greyed out and several attempts to repair disk were to no avail. I am afraid that I made matters worse by unsuccessfully trying to reformat the disk.
I made a backup of my macbook to another older mac and tried the hard disk with an old Windows laptop running Vista. It recognised the disk but said it need to be formatted. This I did.
In the mean time I had upgraded my Macbook from 10.9.3.to 10.9.4. I am not sure if this made a difference.
I then plugged the hard disk back in to the Macbook. It recognised it immediately and said that it needed initialising. This I did successfully and (MAC os extended Journal). The disk now works perfectly with 10.9.4 on the Macbook and I have been able to use Time Machine with it to make a backup.
I know this does not help with rescuing data from the hard disc but at least I now have a usable hard disk!

Hi,
This has something to do with the payment terms of the invoice. When credit memos are created with reference to an invoice, there is a pattern of behaviour on how the field is updated. Similarly when the same is created without reference, the behaviour of this field is dfiferent.
Look at the note 17410, it explains when is the field updated with V.
As per this, when a credit memo is created with reference to an invoice, the invoice number is updated in this field and the payment term of the invoice will become the payment term of the credit memo also
When CM. is created without invoice reference, it is updated with teh value V along with the payment terms in BSEG. In this case the credit memo is always due on the baseline date.

How can I save zoom setting for a DOCUMENT so it opens at that setting?

I find an optimal zoom setting for a document I'd like to use (say 42%) and want the document to open at that setting. I save the document with File>Save Copy. However when I open the document, it opens at the DEFAULT zoom setting set in the Preferences for program. If I change the zoom level here to what I desire for that document, obviously all documents will open at that default setting.
How can I save my desired zoom level for a document, which will most likely be different for EACH document, and have the saved document open at that setting?
This seems like a trivial exercise / feature that should be easy to implement BOTH by the programmers of the software and the user setting the zoom level.
Also, I want to suppress the bookmarks sidebar. I save without the bookmarks but the documents opens with the side bar. Can't THIS be set for each document?
Why is it so difficult to tailor the viewing of a document to exactly what the viewer wants?

OK. Sorry for the mistake in posting the question here.
Again it seems like it should be trivial to save a document in the Reader with a viewer's desired zoom setting. I find this very helpful as I like to use a zoom setting that when scrolling down the document only one full page of the document is viewed (like turning the pages of a book). Without this feature, partial pages are displayed when scrolling unless one experiments to find the correct zoom setting (often it is 60%). One must do this every time one opens the same document, unless one remembers the zoom setting.
Oh well ....

Setting Up a Document for a Billboard - Need Help

Hope someone can help me out with this.
I'm trying to design a billboard. I'll be working primarily in Illustrator.
My issue is that I'm having trouble setting up my document due to the format and size. I know that it's going to be made to scale, perhaps 1:10 but I still can't figure out how to set it up.
Here are the specs:
Board Size: 14' (h) x 40' (w) - feet
Layout Size: 7" (h) x 20" (w)- inches
Bleed Size: 7.5" (h) x 20.5" (w) - inches
Safety Size: 6.5" (h) x 19.5" (w) - inches
What I don't understand is how, take for instance the bleed's height x width, translate to top bottom left right?
Also, how do I set the safety size, layout size? Do these also translate into top bottom left right specs?
Can someone please help!!

Layout is the art board size. Subtract the art board size from the bleed size and divide by 2 to get the bleed amount. (in this case, 1/2 inch on each size)
The Safety Size (also know sometimes as the Live Area) is the part of the billboard that your text should stay within.

InDesign CS4 (6.0) Object Model says:
The pattern of dashes and gaps, in the format [dash length1, gap length1, dash length2, gap length2]. Define up to ten values.
That was it. I guess this is a place where the visual interface diverges from the javascript interface. I was expecting "Start" "Length" as in the dialog. Thanks!

Document Set issue - Missing documents

after changing meta data on a document set, all documents in the document set disappear. Is there a fix for this?

I may have found the bug. If a document set contains a group that the documents also contain and the document set permissions are removed and the group is readded, the documents disappear. Even if the documents have unique permisions and do
not inherit from the document set. The documents are now unaccessible and lost.

Set State of button in NSTabview

i am trying to set the state "enabled or not" of a NSbutton which is located on a Tab view item on a window (NSwindow)
So i do have:
* "myWindow" = NSWindow
* "tabView" = NSTabview
* "clean" = NsTabView Item or Tab not sure howto call it
* "cleanUserCache" = NSButton
My code is executed in the *on opened* section of the AppleScript
I have tried several combinations i.e:
set testerlein to state of button "cleanUserCache" of view of tab view item "clean" of tab view "tabView"
display dialog testerlein
idea: read the state and save it as first test. does not work.

the examples above are executed in a *tell window "myWindow" ... end tell* section
changing checkboxes on a simple window worked like that for me:

Please read note 169732.
It is normal that you get this errror message "Park document blocked xxxxxx" if you try to park a document for which "Release necessary" is set but "Released" flag is not set.
Normally in workflow the "Released" flag is set in a background step right before the workflow posts the documents.
