I recently re-built my computer (format hard drive the re-install window XP etc.)
I installed iTunes and it worked ok.
I installed airport express but it didnt work well until i download the newer admin utility the appreared ok. When i tried to use the "Multiple Speakers" option all came unstuck
Itunes now loads and shows the library but is permanently searching for the remote speakers.
I have unistalled everything apple including the updates bonjour, quicktime and itunes, check the program files directory to make sure everthing is gone etc.
It still exibit the same fault of searching for the remote speakers. hing can be done to break the sycle short of using task manager to kill itunes.
I have repeated the process of uninstall many times. even intalling before install air express but it still seems to know about the remote speakers.
tried searching the registry but cvould find anything sensible

  • Search for [Remote Key] and [Remote System] in Data Manager

    Hello all
I would like to be able to search on the remote key and the remote system in the MDM Data Manager is that not possible? I thought I remembered seeing that possibility under the Free-Form Search but now I can't find it.
I have, however, found this in the Data Manager reference guide:
REMOTE SYSTEM AND REMOTE KEY FIELDS
MDM uses the remote systems defined in the Remote Systems table
within the MDM Console to store and maintain key mapping information
for each record or text attribute. It does this using a virtual “key
mapping” field that you never see in the MDM Client.
This virtual key mapping field is very much like a qualified lookup field
into a virtual key mapping qualified lookup table.
Key Mapping information stored in virtual lookup field
    The Remote System and Remote Key fields are normally not visible;
however, they do appear in several places in the MDM Client.
Specifically, both fields: (1) appear in the File > Export dialogs in Record
mode for exporting value pairs; (2) are recognized by the File > Import
dialog in Record mode for importing value pairs; and (3) appear in the
Edit Key Mappings dialogs in both Record mode and Taxonomy mode,
for viewing and editing value pairs.
Is there any way to search on the value in the remote key from the Data Manager?

Not sure search i think not possible.
But you can see keys as mentioned:
    Enable Key mapping in Console.
MDM Client maens MDM Data Manager.
They do appear in several places in the MDM Client or Data Manager. Three different methods to see in DM are given already below:
Specifically, both fields: (1) appear in the File > Export dialogs in Record mode for exporting value pairs; (2) are recognized by the File > Import dialog in Record mode for importing value pairs; and (3) appear in the Edit Key Mappings dialogs in both Record mode and Taxonomy mode, for viewing and editing value pairs.

  • Form development & searching for the contents

    Dear all,
In portal, I need a simple form to capture some information.
Eg Vehicle Number, driver name etc.
I also want to search on this form content.
What will be a good option instead of custom developments.
XML forms can be used but can't be searched.
Document template, Guided procedure are some other options.
    Regards,

    Hi Subir,
If you need to capture some information (enter by a user, it is not read from a database for example) you can use form builder. It's very simple to do it. The result are xml files. Then you can create an index (index administration) to point to this repository. Don't forget to add this repository to xml filter, this is when you double click in xml file must be open using a xslt not open as a simple text file.
Guided procedure is thought for workflow process. You can create a input form (but using Adobe form, you must have licence for use it). Also, you can create a webdynpro application using SAP Developer Studio.
I think that the best option, obviously depend on your requirement is used form builder.
    Patricio.

  • Federated Search for Documentum

Hi. Has anybody implemented a federated search for Documentum? I think Documentum uses Verity internally for full text indexing, but Verity is tightly integrated with Documentum's own metadata search - does Documentum expose the search functionality as a web service - is there any customization required on this web service (meaning, is it already a SOAP web service that Plumtree understands readily or do we have to write any custom code). Any inputs on implementing federated search for remote search repositories such as Verity, FAST, Autonomy would be helpful?

    Hi Bbelko, as Raji mentioned,
Lync Desktop Client cannot search any external source outside your organization.
Nevertheless, Lync Full Client can search against your local Outlook contact lists (only your personal contact and linked contact lists like LinkedIn or Facebook). Additionally, Lync is generating its own Address Book (ABS) which it can search against. You
can modify in Lync how the service should generate the address book, based on the GAL. GAL here does NOT mean the Exchange GAL, instead it is the Active Directory. It only queries information based on Exchange attributes.
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg429711.aspx
How this helps understanding how the service is working via the User Replicator.
Federated contacts can be therefor also only maintained in AD.

  • Unable to search for attachments in mail

    Hi,
The problem I'm having is, when I search in mail for an attachment (that exists), nothing comes up. Searching for emails works fine. I'm running Yosemite 10.10.2. I happen to have another computer running Yosemite which can search for attachments just fine.
This computer was previously running Mavericks, and searching for attachments worked there. I backed up my mail files (inboxes, plists, etc.) and then did a clean install of Yosemite (not an upgrade) and then moved my old mail files back. Perhaps somehow this is the issue?
    Would appreciate any help!

  • Searching for song in library and getting a runtime error...?

So, right after downloading the new iTunes... I had no problems at all.
I would go through, search for songs in the search bar for my library, and again, no problems.
No matter what I searched for it worked... Unless I searched for a song with the letter A.
Every other letter works no problem.
I put the first letter in the search bar, no matter the letter, and immediately start getting results.
... The second I put the letter A in the search bar... it freezes for a sec, then gives me a runtime error and closes.
I would really super appreciate any help with this. Or atleast to know I'm not the only one with this problem or similar problem(s)...

Okay... Are they still working on this new iTunes...?
Because now I have a new problem.
In the library, only purchased songs are showing up. And other songs I have, like say the ones I have on my ipod now that I got from my cds, aren't showing up in the library at all.
They're on my ipod... When you go under the ipod and go under 'On this ipod', they're all there...
But they only show up there.
I can't listen to em' on itunes. And I can't seem to get them over into my library...
Is there anyway to fix this, without having to manually go through and add them all over again...
I REALLY could use the help with this...
