Last photo's thumbnail is not displaying

Last photo's thumbnail is not displaying when i enter the camera app. When you enter the camera at the lower left pont there is a thumbnail  of your last photo. Instead there just a black box where the photo should be.

Why are you posting this same/similar thing AGAIN as you just posted yesterday? That other one is still very much active.

  • Thumbnails do not display after using rebuild tool

I am using OSX 10.7.5, and iPhoto 8.1.2.
recently I made a back up copy of my files.
I then reinstalled my operating system.
I then copied my iphoto library back onto my computer.
imported my iPhoto library into iPhoto
    Pictures are in iPhoto.
    Thumbnails do not display.
I have used the rebuild tools provided by iPhoto.
    Still no thumbnails displaying.
    any other ideas?

It relates to your suggestion in that, the reason I posted was to solve a thumbnail issue.
"re: Thumbnails do not display after using rebuild tool"
Terence suggested reloading my back up library.
I asked Terence where I should import to.
I was thinking that my thumbnail issue was related to the way I imported my back up.
You clarified where to import the library...
I tried it and I still have no thumbnails
I have already tried repairing permissions and rebuilding thumbnails using the i photo repair tool.
    can you help me?

  • Hasselblad Thumbnails (*.fff) not displayed in CS4

Hasselblad thumbnails (*.fff) not displayed. Older file-versions created from *.3fr to *.fff by FlexColor are displayed. Newer versions created by Phocus are not displayed. In Apples finder they are all displayed well and you can zoom in to full screen. This is valid for *.3fr, *.fff (created by RAW-converter FlexColor or Phocus).
Adobe® Creative Suite® 4 Design Premium actual version, camera raw 5.4, Mac OS X 10.5.7, Power Mac G5

Here, I found a relevant thread in the ACR forum for you:
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/1982052#1982052
Only ".3FR" is supported.  ".FFF" is not supported.
Since ACR does not support .fff raw files, Bridge cannot build the thumbnails.
The Finder is most probably just showing you the embedded JPEG preview.

  • Thumbnails do not display for some images

I have a large library with over 65,000 images.
In some albums and projects the images fail to display in the browser....see here for an screenshot
    http://picasaweb.google.be/lh/photo/tOj7FY4lclLxr8YMEBV8ZA?authkey=_Zrhrl8QDyA
If I go into filmstrip view I can make them appear but this does not seem to stick...ie when I quit and restart aperture the same images fail to display.
I have tried selecting and "generate thumbnails" as well as "update previews" and whilst it chunters away working on it for quite a while the images stll persist in not appearing.
    Suggestions?

Sorry to hear that....I still have no really good news. What I did notice is that if I enlarged the thumbnails above a certain size then they all displayed....but once they dropped below a certain size the ones that did not display, stopped displaying!
This was so boring that I deleted the entire project (after doing an export, including masters) and then imported the originals again.
Now everything works fine...but of course I have lost all the tagging and adjustments that I did since importing....so I am not happy at all....but at least I do have a working library.

  • Thumbnails do not display when logged in from a second account at the same iMac

    Hi,
I am using Lightroom on an iMac with OSX 10.8.2. I have two user accounts. The library is located in a shared users folder, so that either user 1 or user 2 can have access to it (of course not at the same time). The pictures physically reside on an external drive and are recognized as such without any issue.
Here is my problem: Under user 1 everything works perfect. Under user 2 the thumbnails of the pictures are not displayed for some reason. In the develop module user 2 can access the pictures. Nevertheless the thumbnails remain grey.
I have worked in that configuration in LR 3 without any problem. After upgrading to LR 4 the problem started. Upgrading to 4.2 did not solve the problem. Rerendering the thumbnails when logged in as user 2 stalles.
Any help is very much appreciated.

    Hi,
It seems to be a known issue. Hope it will be fixed by next update.
Also you can feedback in the link below:
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/lync/archive/2012/11/01/lync-app-feedback-you-asked-and-here-it-is.aspx
The workaround is to use Lync Web App to share PPTs. You can see the Thumbnails for Powerpoint slides using Lync Web App.

Restart your Mac then try Facebook.
If that doesn't help, empty your browser cache then try again.

    Hi Dick,
That sounds like normal behaviour with Raw files to me. They usually go straight through the Camera Raw pipeline into Photoshop. Rendered files like Tiff and Jpeg have the Original/Copy/Lightroom Adjustments dialog.
I'm not sure what you mean by History because on Import, there is only one history state: Import.

  • Photo Gallery Images Do Not Display When Uploaded

I have made a photo gallery in Bidge, and locally, it looks fine. WHen I upload the folder to the remote server, none of the images will display.
Everything is contained in the gallery folder, and I uploaded that folder. The web pages are displayed, but the images will not.
On the image below, the list of local files are on the right, and the remote files are on the left.
Please tell me what I've missed. Thanks.

Is your photo gallery from a Collection?  Don't think those can be shared as they are  just alisis and not the image.

  • Thumbnails will not display in Bridge

I am running CS5 on a Mac. About 3 days ago Bridge stopped displaying thumbs for files created from RAW (it does show most thumbnails for tiffs and jpegs created in the past)
I have tried to purge cache but i get a msg that says something like "1st of 3 processes" or something similar but that msg never goes away and I have to Force Quit Bridge. Several times when I shut down Bridge would not close, I had to Force Quit.
Maybe I inadvertantly changed a View setting but cannot find anything to resolve this. Maybe I need to download Bridge and start over? If so, do I need to download CS5 and Bridge is part of that? don't want to foul up Actions or other things.....and don't see a way to download only Bridge.
    thx for help folks,
    Ed

This sounds like you are compacting cache.  This process can take awhile depending on how big your cache files are.  Give it 10 min. or so.
What you want to do is purge cache.  The way to purge central and folder cache is to go to Tools/cache/purge cache for xxx folder.
If you use purge cache in preferences it will only purge the central cache.
    Hope this helps

  • Photo Downloader advanced dialog not displayed completely

    Hello,
I use PSE10 and would use this application during traveling on a laptop (Compaq Presario C700). The Adobe website shows as a requirement
Color monitor with 16-bit color video card
    1024x576 display resolution
The laptop I'm using fullfills these requirements, the maximal display resolution is 1280 x 800 pixel
When I start the photo downloader to import images from my digital cameras memory card, the Elements Organizer Photo Downloader dialog appears as expected. Then I switch to Advanced Dialog to select only the required image files. But I can't download the images, as the buttons are not visilble, they are below the visible area of my display. The dialog has a size of 976 x 830 pixel (checked on a differenc computer) and can not be resized to a smaller hight. So the button "get media" can not be pressed to start the download.
I checked for updates to see if I miss some bugfixes, but I'm told that no updates are available
How can I use the Advanced Dialog of Photo Downloader from Photoshop Elements 10 to select the images I want to transfer to my computer?
    Wolfgang
PS: OS is Windows 7 Professional 32-bit, all available updates installed

  • Photos in an Album not Displaying

When I try to view photos in some of my albums the photo appears briefly only then to change to a black background with a white triangle with an exclamation mark inside. This only happens to some albums although I have viewed them before. Any suggestions of what is wrong and an explanation of the sign would be welcome.
    Many thanks

This indicates a disconnect between the Thumbnail and the original
this can be caused by two things
1 - User action deleting items from inside the iPhoto  library - can be directly - can be from the All images list (never delete from there) - can be from running cleanup software like MacKeeer, CleanMac2  or other dangerous, defective software that improperly deletes or changes things in the iPhoto library - if you have done any of these things you must restore your backup from before you did them and damaged your iPhoto library - and I recommend getting rid of any "clean up software" ASAP (although being essentially MalWear it is not easy)
2 - corruption of the iPhoto library - If it is not #1 then Back up your iPhoto library, Depress and hold the option (alt) and command keys and launch iPhoto - rebuild your database

  • Thumbnails are not displaying in LR4.4 64bit on I7 laptop with 16gb ram

I cannot get thumbnails to display the image in library mode. I can click on develop on a particular blank thumbnail (blank thumbnails are dislayed and they are numbered).
What settings do I change? I am using an i7 laptop with 16gb ram. Wins 7.
    Greg.

    Calibrate your monitor.

  • Image preview thumbnails suddenly not displaying: just generic .jpg

I have a series of folders containign images. I surf through them all the time using the Finder in Icon mode, where I can see the image itself as the thumbnail.
For some reason now all I'm getting is the generic file format image (in this case, .jpg), with no "preview". This is happening for all images in all folders.
Can anyone explain why this might be happening? Thanks!

yea, mine doesn't show previews or let me import, it keeps crashing on import and i have not used it since before the update. i repaired permissions, dunno what that would do tho. I tried using iphoto, but i dunno if my camera imports into it. however, the previews don't show up in iphoto either. so there is definitely an issue.
