Lately, when i open a tab, it does not open on top of already open tabs. I am forced to minimize Firefox and then click on the tab in my bottom tray to open it? Why would that be?

This only started happening about 2 days ago. I will have tabs open, go to bookmarks and click on one. It seems that it is not opening but I then discovered that there is a tab at my desktop bottom tray that opened instead that I can click on to open the tab. However, it will not open unless I first minimize my bottom tray whole Firebox browser.

That is the default action when you open a new tab. There are extensions that you can install to change it from a blank page to whatever you want.

I get a tab opening that says that I have won and to click on the button to get my prize, I am unable to close that and therefore uninstalled Firefox... What is that all about? It appears to be malware.

The tab that opens does so in a second tab after the home page tab has opened, but it does not allow access to the home page tab, and it will not allow closing of the tab. It says that you have "WON", and you need to click on the button to collect your prize. It is clearly malicious software, but what, why and how to avoid it is not at all clear. It does not corrupt Internet Explorer.

Click the Firefox button, go to Options | Options | Advanced and in the General tab, remove the checkmark from "'''Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page'''".
You won't get that dropdown banner anymore afterwards.

When I use firefox and have several tabs open, I can only navigate between them by minimazing and maximazing FF in the taskbar and then clicking on the other tab. When I want to click on content on the website (say a link) I need to mini/maximize again.

If I want to switch to the other tab again, it only works if I do that again. It seems that I can either use the content of a website or use the functions of firefox, (like navigating between tabs, using favorites, typing in the address bar) but not at the same time. I always need to minimize and maximize the program by clicking on the task bar. This goes back and forth forever.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

With snow leopard, basic keyboard functions like double clicking on a desktop item now require me to hold control and then click on the track pad. I'm trying to recall, I seem to remember Leopard allowing you to double click items to open them?

I notice in iPhoto that if I used to be able to single/double click on a photo to view it but now if I click CONTROL and then the TRACK PAD, the options don't allow me to open JUST that photo in nearly full page format. Any suggestions?

"nearly full page" means that I used to be able to double click on a photo in iPhoto, and it would open up to a full image within iPhoto itself. Now, there is absolutely no option to enlarge a photo unless you go to slideshow - no option to double click or side click or Control+click or Command+click or anything at all. The small white arrow at the bottom right corner of every photo gives you options, but none are options that include enlarging a photo to see it bigger. And no, you cannot double click it at all to even open it up in any other app unless you click/drag onto desktop and then open in Photoshop, or equivalent app. Yes, checked TP preferences. No, it doesn't help.

Question, regarding export. From the library module, when I select an image and then click on the Export button, or select file export, nothing happens. The program seems to lock up and the only way to continue in the software is to press the escape key.

Can i download previous versions of firefox? the new version does not allow me to use my VPN so i have had to uninstall firefox and use internet explorer instead (ugh!)

Can you describe in a little more detail which part isn't working? For example, is the VPN not starting up when you start Firefox, or is Firefox not able to use the VPN tunnel?
If we can't solve it, here's the process to roll back:

If sent as an MMS, the carrier reduces the size and quality of a video sent as an MMS.
The same shouldn't apply with iMessage but it might.

Hello, more than likely the switch inside the headphone port is stuck open. Try looking inside the port, do you see any foreign material; lint, dirt, etc? If so try to remove it by blowing it out. If nothing appears to be in the port try plugging and unplugging the headphone jack quickly several times to unblock the switch and/or clear the contacts. If still no joy try a reset, or Reset All Settings. If still nothing try restoring from backup or restore to new. Just make sure you backup your iPod before restoring or you will loose stuff. If problem continues contact Apple Genius Bar and have your iPod evaluated. Good luck, Cheers.

I'm not sure why this would happen. But I think I did see another post a week or two ago about this. Have you tried rebooting your computer and resetting your iPad.
To reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
