Launching the First node of the folder automatically
Hi,
I have a role in the portal in which the first node is a folder. When i click on the Role in the top level navigation, my requirement is that it should automatically open the first page/iview within this folder.
I have checked the properties of iview like mentioned below, but these properties works if we click on folder. In my case without even clicking on the folder i want the first iview of the folder to be displayed bydefault when i click on role.
1. Clicking Folder Name Launches First Node
2. Default Entry for Folder
Any inputs in this regard , will be of great help.
MyRole (we have only single level navigation on the top)
--> MyFolder(is visible in detailed level navigation)
--> MyIview (this iview has to be shown by default when I click on the Role)

First, You may add a folder under Workset and not under Role. Next you have the property "Default Entry for Folder" for the iview. set this value as yes.
I have created a role called "DemoRole" which has "DemoWorkset". This workset has a folder by name "DemoFolder".
Now I created two url iviews one is google and the other one is yahoo which are assigned to this "Demofolder". Note, I didn;t create any page, but directly assigned the iviews to the "DemoFolder"
Google iview is assigned first and then yahoo iview. so by defauult when i click on "DemoRole" i see only the "DemoFolder" that too in closed state.
Now I have assigned "Default Entry for Folder" property to the second iview i.e yahoo iview.
Next time i click on "DemoRole" I see that the "DemoFolder" is automatically in opened status and bydefault the second iview i.e yahoo iview is opened.

please refer to the document "Installing Patch 4 for Enterprise Portal 6.0 SP2" (EP6SP2Patch4_install_v5.pdf) to be found on Service Marketplace; there: "6.3 Navigation Enhancements", there: "6.3.2 Default Entry for Folder" & "6.3.4 DTN: Clicking Folder Name Launches First Node".
This should answer your question if you think about nesting with one level (I don't think it works over more levels, imagin Folder A only with subfolders, for instance Folder AA with a page AAA under it. Clicking on A will not open AAA, I think, even if this is the first "displayable" element; but I didn't check it out).

Grid installation: root.sh failed on the first node on Solaris cluster 4.1

I'm trying to install the Grid (11.2.0.3.0) on the 2 node-clusters (OSC 4.1).

solaris has several issues with DISM, e.g.:
Solaris 10 and Solaris 11 Shared Memory Locking May Fail (Doc ID 1590151.1)
Sounds like Solaris Cluster has a similar bug. A "workaround" is to reboot the (cluster) zone, that "fixes" the mlock error. This bug was introduced with updates in september, atleast to our environment (Solaris 11.1). Prior i did not have the issue and now i have to restart the entire zone, whenever i stop crs.
With 11.2.0.3 the root.sh script can be rerun without prior cleaning up, so you should be able to continue installation at that point after the reboot. After the root.sh completes some configuration assistants need to be run, to complete the installation. You need to execute this manually as you wipe your oui session

I need to get the tagName after a node of the first child of the Root
Hi All,
I need to get the TagName of the Node immediete after the Root. I won't know what is the TagName, and based on the Tagname only I can process the records.
For example I might receive a SALES object or a MARKETING object wrapped under the root.
eg.

<SALES>
</SALES>
</PARENT>
or
<PARENT>
<MARKETING>
</MARKETING>
</PARENT>
I tried to using like this

HarishThat's because the first child of the document element is that whitespace text node between <PARENT> and <SALES>. You need to scan through the children of the document element until you find one that is an Element node.

Zen Stone Plus Speaker. Browse music without starting the first song in the next fold
Hi everyone,
I'm not sure what I want is possible.
I've had this player for about a?week now and I believe I could browse to the folders while listening to a song. For some reason when I do that now the player?start playing the first song of every folder when I browse through it.
I'm starting to doubt if I remember it right that it was possible to browse through while listening to a song before?
I tried playing with the setting and even did the recovery tool thing to put the player back at the setting it came with. But it didn't work.
Anyone know if this is posible, and how?

Firstly I was using the single CUCM7.0 server with the single UCCX 7.0 server. Now I am going to add the second CUCM and UCCX in the cluster. I was first configured the UCCX server as a single node. Now I have to configure this as a first node. How I could configure this from single node to the first node without affecting it's configurations..??????

I am using my Description as the caption on Slideshow. I ticked the "Show Title Slide" button and iPhoto physically copied the description on the first slide onto the end of every other description. I can find no way of removing them other than by hand. Unticking the "show title slide" did not reverse the situation back to my required state. DURIM - Okay. I would expect the "Cache Warning" message because your default directories would not be the same as the ones in the settings file I generated.
If you go back to the "7.0" directory and open the "Logs" folder, can you copy the "Audition Log.txt" file and send it as an attachment to [email protected]? We'll take a look in that logfile and see if it gives us more information about why this is failing now.
Also, do you have any other Adobe applications installed on this machine, such as Premiere Pro? If so, do they launch as expected or fail as well?
I do have the trial Pro version of Adobe reader, but I have not activated it, because I fear the same thing will happen did it. I cannot afford to activate the subscription for that product and take the chance of it not working either. I depend on those two programs religiously. Here is the files that you requested. Quit Safari.
Open the Library folder in your home folder as follows:
☞ If running OS X 10.7 or later, hold down the option key and select Go ▹ Library from the Finder menu bar.

Drop down menus on iPad, the first selection in the drop down will not load as a selection when using safari, what can I do? I use this for my mobile, on-site auto repair business and not being able to call up repair and diagnostic info and reference for some cars is troublesome for sure. It works fine on the computer and I have installed a remote desktop app as a workaround but it is unreliable because the desktop is not business dedicated and may be off or in use at the time. So is there a known fix for this?
Let me paint a more descriptive picture, visualize 4 drop down selection menus, first one is for year, next one is for make, 3rd one is model and the last one is for engine size/type. If I wanted to choose a 2012 vehicle it wont work because it is the top selection on the list. This can be forced by selecting any other year and then coming back to 2012. Ok fine, but then let's say I wanted to choose Acura as the make, well it won't take it because again it's the top selection. Again you work around it be selecting any other make and coming back to Acura. Ok now select the model, same trend follows. But now since most Acura vehicles come with dedicated engines and no optional engines I have only 1 selection in that final drop down menu and it will not take my selection and therefore never let me proceed to the info I need.
This is also true when ordering parts from my wholesaler's website, they use drop downs and I can only get to that last drop down and then I'm stuck. This is blindingly frustrating, what options do I have. I'm not opposed to any avenue at this point.Did you ever figure this out? I bought my iPad last week to use in my business as well. I assume you are trying to use alldata? That is where I noticed this same issue. I had problems with identifix working with safari but downloaded a different browser and that works fine. Alldata does not work with either browser. The main difference is that on identifix if there is only one engine selection, it automatically selects the only option and continues to the home page. With alldata you have to make the selection manually even if there is only one option. Honestly if I can't get this to work I am going to return the iPad as it looses a significant amount of usefulness to men

Sometimes when I play songs in Itunes by double clicking on them, Itunes will place the song as the first one on the album. It will chnage the order of the songs on the album, and I can not switch them back to the correct order. This onloy seems to happen when I double-click on the song to play it in itunes. If I just hit play, this doesnt happen. As a result, I have several albums now in which the songs are in the wrong order. Its very frustrating, as this error then transfers over to my ipod every time I sync it. When I choose the info. for the songs, it has them correctly listed (i.e., it lists the songs as being #1 of 19 on the CD, for example). But then the song will have placed by Itunes as #5 of 19 for whatever reason. Itunes does not do this every time, but does it with enough frequency to be maddening. Any thoughts?
The problem of tracks becoming de-linked between iTunes and the music files in your iTunes music folder happens for different reasons - this seems to come up fairly commonly in this forum.
The solution can be to locate each song in the iTunes library, as you mentioned - or, but wait, before I get to that...
trouble finding the original track in your iTunes music folder? maybe look for it under compilations, or if not using the 'group compilations preference' then look in the folder under the songs artist name, but what song artist name iTunes uses depends on what you have in the metedata tag spot for album artist or song artist. Any varyation in artist name spelling, in the menu item 'get info' metadata for any selected individual track will cause iTunes to create that as a separate artist folder in the library, even names like 'various' or any difference at all (even the word 'the' can change where in your iTunes music folder a track gets placed by iTunes). You can try to use the finder function of find file (finder munu item outside of iTunes) to locate hard to find items.
Back to how to re-link any de-linked tracks .
There may be scripts that can help re-link de-linked music files - or, at least provide you a list of such files, Scripts are easy to install and use...
