LAYOUT CHANGE AUTHORIZATION REMOVE FOR ME2N

HI,
How to remove authorization for the Change layout in the transaction ME2N. For Example, if we set one Layout and the user shouldn't allowed to change / Create the layout.
Anybody can throw a light on this area, since my basis team doesn't aware about which object to control.

I ahve created R3 report in which report has been displayed using ALV grid, I am able to change the layout as I can see the layout -> change option in settings menu, but save and choose option is disabled.

According to sap help you need authorization to save Layout
[ALV -Layout|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sm32/helpdata/en/82/839d37664e4d45e10000009b38f8cf/content.htm]
To save layouts for all users, you need the authorization S_ALV_LAYO with activity 23 as of Release 4.6C. You can only go to the layout administration if you have this authorization.
You must maintain the authorization object S_ALV_LAYO using the user administration.
If you would like to use or save the Excel view in your layout, you also require the additional authorization S_BDS_DS with activity 01,02,03,06,30; CLASSNAME ALVLAYOUTTEMPLATES and CLASSTYPE OT.
Furthermore, there are applications that have their own authorization checks installed.
In some ALV lists, you can only save user-specific layouts. In these cases, the indicator "user-specific" is active , on a grey background and unable to be changed. This is related to the parameter I_SAVE. This controls which options you have to save the layout.
To be able to define default layouts, the parameter I_DEFAULT must have the value 'X'.
Notes 409190 and 601803 also provide further information on authorizations.

Authorization removal for storage location.

we want to remove authorization for certain users for accessing specific storage location for transfer posting,let say 0002 is not supposed to access by user AABBCC.
to control this my basis team member had removed this storage location in master role of this user where storage location is added(Inventory management/physical inventory) even though system is allowing for processing transactions in this 0002 storage location.
plz suggest the way for restriction of this storage location access to user.

Layout change in ITS for SAP Retail Store

We need to change standard layouts provided in SAP Retail store for Sales Invoice, Stock transfer note etc.we are using WAS 6.40 version.
The requirement is to add some additional fields in the layout that gets displayed as standard in web.
Please advice how to go ahead and do this.

If you want to customise your HTML templates they must be mixed mode enabled.

Separate TCode for Mass Change of documents (For authorization purpose)

We have internal audit function where internal audit chief will remove the payment block of multiple vendor invoices through FBL1N --> Environment --> Mass Change.
Now problem is that authorization for FBL1N is given to 6 more employees (related to AP Accounting). Hence all these employees can do the mass change. I want to restrict this mass change authorization only to one person i.e. internal audit chief.
Please tell me how to bring this restriction.

You should contact your basis guy to do so...In tab authorization first you will have to find this object he system will display it , there you can assign 03 in place of *.
Personally i will recommend you should go for creating transaction variant using SHD0 which is an easy way to do so. Please check it will solve your issue. I just did both in test sever both of them are working perfect for me. Mass button is disabled when you set 03 for F_BKPF_KOA. SHD0 meets the subject topic of your post.

Not able to change authorization in c-folder for zrole

we are implementing two envelope bidding for SRM 7.0,Here For technical Evaluator ,we have to create a saparate workarea in c-folder.The roles assiged to technical Evaluator is SAP_CFX_USER for c-folder.Now while i was creating the workarea for technical evaluator, i t was throwing me the error.Cfolder.NoAuthorization.Owner....To remove this Error i assiged
a authorization object 'ACO_SUPER'..now i was able to create the folder but the problem is..Technical Evaluator is having administration authorization for Public area.
And i am not able to change the authorization..I tries using CFX_ACO_API_ACTIVITIES_SET and by passing 'Read' auth in badi parameter ct_cfx_auth but it is not chaging..
I am totally out of clues what to do?????please suggest..

Hi,
There is no version management for SapScript or Smartforms .
When you write "transport request in development which is not moved to quality" - was the transport ever released and exported from the development system? If yes, and if the "Transport files" are still available in "Transport directory" (or if the transport files were backed up and could be retrieved), the transport could be imported again. If the TR was not exported, you are out of luck, I believe...
I would not recommend you do it on your own even if you happen to have enough authorizations (consult with Basis and/or Transport Admin, if you have one in your organization). I would not recommend that it's imported on a development system or QA system, even if the transport contains no other objects - only the SapScript form in question. Import it on a "sand-box" that gets overwritten by system copy from time to time... Once the transport is imported, you should have the old version of SapScript in that system and could analyse the changes and perform manual merge.

How do I change or remove default apps for a given file extension (in Terminal?) without munging date modified on all my old files?

When a program is installed, it seems to be able to do it (sometimes inappropriately if it hijacks file associations without asking) so why can't I? This is for 10.4.
Specifically:
1. Since installing an HP wireless printer, HP not only tries to install a bunch of sales-ware on your machine that you have to carefully opt out of (annoying, but not a problem if forewarned), it changes the default file association for a number of basic file types, listing all sort of existing files as HP printer files. Using Get Info to change the default file type association globally causes it to mark ALL the files of that type as newly updated, munging the file metdata (which HP did NOT do). Most of the stuff on our computer is sorted by last modified, so if there is a way to fix this in Terminal (to simply fix or remove the HP default tag) without changing the date the file was modified, it would help. Note that uninstalling the program that created the default would do this, but I obviously can't do that (and reinstalling HP would have the same effect). So there has to be another way, right?
2. Since updating iTunes to v.9 a while back, every mp3 is marked as an iTunes file even though iTunes has NO multiple library capability without a wonky reboot using the option key, meaning that if I click on an mp3 downloaded since last update of iTunes, it opens automatically in iTunes and gets added to the SOLE itunes library without asking. (There is no way to toggle between multiple libraries or archive media in separate folders; iPhoto has a similar problem. (Has this been fixed in the latest version of iTunes?) In comparison, Quicktime starts up immediately and does not attempt to create a playlist just because you opened a file and listened to it.
(The iTunes playlists are simply subfolders of the single main library -- and you can't create a new library without doing a wonky procedure by clicking option during startup and telling iTunes to forget where its library is located (includin everything in it) and look up an entirely separate one by hand. So any mp3 file downloaded recently is uploaded to iTunes if you click on it. This wouldn't be problem if it didn't automatically add it to the sole iTunes library just because you clicked on it.)
Besides, all my old mp3s are Quicktime files and they are all archived by date modified. To its credit, ITunes, unlike HP, does NOT hijack older files already on disk and remark them as iTunes files. It only marks newly downloaded files as such. But if I try and change file association for FUTURE mp3 files using Get Info > "use this program for all files of this type", it munges the file metadata (date modified) for all existing files!
Note that in HP case, it apparently does it at the file exchange preference level (or whatever it's called) since the OS then recognizes every file of those types as an HP file. In the iTunes case, it only does it if you download a new media file or open an existing file in iTunes, but again without changing the date it was last edited.
Since these programs are able to change the default file association without changing the date the file was last edited, it should be reversible in Terminal, correct? Why does it change "date modified" when you try and correct metadata using Get Info (or sometimes just by clicking an enclosing folder?) Date modified should be a record of when a file itself was edited, not when it was renamed, or other metadata. Otherwise stuff can't be sorted correctly.

The unix commands you need are:
GetFileInfo
SetFileInfo
and maybe find
for cryptic details use the man command
Macintosh-HD -> Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal
man SetFileInfo
You may use the SetFileInfo command to set the file type & the program which will open the file.

Error while trying to create Transaction variant for FV60 layout change

Hi Gurus,
I am trying to change the "order/sequence" of FV60 layout (rearranging columns). For which I tried to create Transaction Variant (in sandbox). I keyed in the t-code (FV60) and gave a variant name in the field for Transaction variant. But it gives me a wierd error - "Enter transaction code". Has anybody come across this before? This is enhancement pack 7 so the config button is not available.

Layout change for S_ALR_87012143/1099 Listings report

Hi Experts,
is it possible to change layout of report S_ALR_87012143 - RFKQSU20 by some means other then abap code change?
We need to add Vendor master related data (such as PO BOX , City etc to the output ) when report is being extracted as excelsheet. This sheet should later be used to submit to 1099 Express.
Are there any other alternative provided by SAP for S_ALR_87012143 - RFKQSU20 ?

As far as I know, all the relveant information required by you are
available for report RFIDYYWT.
In main screen of report RFIDYYWT:
-> go to'output control' section-> 'tax per business partner'->
click on 'configuration'-> from menu, click 'settings'-> 'layout'->
'change'-> select the fields from the right box and add it to
the left box-> click 'copy'.

BBP_PS_PROJECT_GET_LIST: Checks for Change Authorization.

Hi,
I have a custom SAP program that is required to fetch pertinent details from a project.
The SAP function module BBP_PS_PROJECT_GET_LIST retrieves several internal tables is used for this purpose.
For some reason this function module, which looks like it should only retrieve information and cannot perform changes itself, checks for Change authorization to object C_AFKO_ACT. As a result, users with Change access to projects can run this and get the appropriate results (in internal table IT_AFVC). However, users with Display access only to projects do not have any data returned back in this same structure.
Any idea on how to go about this problem?

CJ20N Authorization Object for Project Status Changes

Hi Gurus,
Can any one knows the Authorization Object responsible to control the change of status for a project in the CJ20N?
We want to control who can and who can't change the STATUS of a project independent from other changes.

User authorization object B_USERSTAT. Before that u should define authorization key in Tcode:BS52 and assign it to User status in Tcode:OK02.
In authorization object B_USERSTAT set ERSL=Authorization Key, so that the user can change the status of that perticular status only.

Is there function module for looking up CHANGE AUTHORIZATION for a cube?

In our BPS program we would like to look up the change authorizations a user has for his company in a cube. The problem is that with our current function module: RSSB_GET_AUTH_FOR_USER , SAP returns the values for "acitvity" DISPLAY and we would like to have "acitvity" CHANGE permissions.
In other words:
Is there a function module which we can use to look up authorizations for BW 7.0 on infocubes?
