Leading zeros still deleted after applying note 1113276

Hello
We are experimenting some issues with the automatic replenishment and we do not know if we are filling in the necessary fields
in the material master. our goal is to forecast consumption based on the historical values, the chosen model is the moving average model.
the data we have entered:
RP type -> VM
Lot size -> EX
Service Level -> 95
forecast model -> G
period indicator -> W
consumption level promotions -> white
stock planner -> 001
planned delivery time -> 14
historical periods -> 5
forecast periods -> 1
periods per season -> 52
With these data, if we run the forecast with MP30 or MP38, the system only takes into account the dates from the first sale.
the first historical periods with no sale before the first sale are not taken into account.
example:
week 1: 0 sales
week 2: 0 sales
week 3: 0 sales
week 4: 10 sales
week 5: 0 sales
we want forecast=10/5=2 sales units per week, but we get 10/2=5 units per week.
we have already implemented note 1113276 that should correct this error on leading zeros, but the error still persists.
the snote transaction indicates that the note 1113277 is not implementable.
How can we fix this with the notes already implemented, and yet the system continues to eliminate the zeros?
thank you very much
regards

Hello and thanks.
To clear things up, we tried to install note 1113276 with SNOTE but SAP didn't proceed because first we had to create the enhancement spot MATERIAL_FORECAST. We then created MATERIAL_FORECAST with SE18 and the result is as follows:
[https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-7O_D6LmdFoU/ToWA4bo3SdI/AAAAAAAAABc/VNmfcz5mkLM/s800/Selecci%2525C3%252583%2525C2%2525B3n_999%252528061%252529.jpeg]
Did we fill in right the 'X' from note 1113277?

    Hi Sherrif,
    After you have done support package import in all systems of the landscape I guess you can delete these files. Before that it may not be such a good idea.The document here gives the recommendation for data files at least:

  • Syntax error after applying NOTE 2028544

    Hello Experts,
    We implemented Fiori My Timesheet application and it was working fine except while saving the time data from Fiori we were getting short dump saying conversion error (found during debugging) as mentioned in below screenshot.
    To overcome this error we implemented SAP NOTE 2028544 in ECC using SNOTE but it was throwing an syntax error in a interface /IWBEP/IF_MGW_MED_ODATA_TYPES. While during version comparision we found out that the NOTE has removed a line from the program (Below screenshot) which is causing the error. Also we are currently in SAPK-20009INIWBEP version of IW_BEP.
    Can anyone please let us know what wrong we did and how to overcome this situation since we cannot revert back the changes because it is asking for access key to manually change the code and when we are trying to reset the NOTE implementation using SNOTE then we are getting syntax error in the above program?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Pankaj,
    While checking the NOTE 2032088 and the correction instructions, it was mentioned that the prerequisites is to apply NOTE 2028544 (The one in which we are facing error).
    But the main problem now is we applied the NOTE 2028544 but it caused a change in a program (mentioned earlier) and we activated it forcefully. Now when we are trying to open My Timesheet application it is giving error. When we try to reset this NOTE implementation then we cannot do because it is saying there is a syntax error in your program.
    We are now in deadlock situation where we cannot move forward or backward

  • Extending the duration of a still image after applying scaling to it?

    I have a still image that I am keyframing to scale down from 100% to 50% over its duration and at the end of the clip I move it to the upper left of the screen. After it moves to the upper left I want it to stay in that spot. What is the best way to do this?
    I had my final keyframe on the last frame of the clip. Would I now somehow extend the length of the clip longer?
    Thanks.

    I suggest Ann's workflow too, but if you have already applied Keyframes to the shorter Duration Still, then extend that Duration, you can then Move the Keyframes to the new Tail/Last Frame. Just remember that that operation will change the timing of the Keyframes by the change in Duration. If that is what you want, then nothing to worry about.
    Also, if you have several Effects Keyframed, you can Select all of those Keyframes for each Effect, then drag them all to suit.
    Good luck,

  • Problem with 1009MISC after applying Note 1535966.

    I have applied OSS Note 1535966 which was released on 01/27/2011.  I also applied the corrections from Note 1305371 as well.  I have submitted a Test File to the IRS and have recieved the following errors.   I do not see any other notes that apply to the 2010 1099 Forms.  Thanks.
    #1 of 2
    1  'A' record(s) has an incorrect/invalid type of return and/or amount code(s) in positions 26-41.
         Record sequence number 2 is the first known record containing this error.

  • Leading Zeros of Consumption in historical time series are not considered

    We are using VM MRP Type and weighted average model to calculate forecast value using historical consumption values. I have 36 historical periods(months) but have consumption incurred only in last period i-e "1". I have choosen a weighted group 01 (20% for 1-12 month, 30% for 13-24 month, 50% for 25-36 month). Using these setting it should calculate the basic value as 1*0.5/12 = .042 but it gives "1" as basic value not considering leading zero consumption value in historical time series. If i put a value in first period it calculates correctly and considers the leading zero.
    We have implemented note 1113276, 1145764 & 1113277 and have chosen CV_OPTION="X" in the interface as per theses notes instructions but still while executing the forecast it is not considering the leading zeros.
    We are using ECC 6.0 MM with 602 support pack.
    Need urgent help in this regard.

    Have you followed the steps as per SAP Note 1113276 , Just check below link with same subject discussed check it helps you,

  • EBS check number with leading zeros

    When we upload EBS, we are getting the check number in the record 16 (reference field). But unlike the check number posted in SAP, the check number in the BAI file has 2 leading zeros. Now since check number is coming in record 16, instead of record 88 we are not able to solve this problem through String configuration.
    So, we thought of following solutions(Options):
    1.    Modify the check lot numbers to have two leading zeros plus associated changes like the form and so on.
    2.    Modify the check number in the incoming file u2013 strip the check number with two leading zeros with the use of customer enhancement. (After upload and before posting)
    Can we solve the problem of leading zeros (before the check number) through any configuration steps instead of changing the SAP script form for check(Check lot) or going for customer enhancement.
    Thanks
    Ron

    You are correct, since the check numbers are coming through only in the 16 records and not in the 88 records, you cannot use a search string to resolve the issue with leading zeros.  Also, I do not know of any other configuration that can be used to reformat the reference values in the 16 records.
    The 2 solutions you have listed are both valid options.  Although with the first option (changing the check lots), you would need to make sure the business users approved of changing the check lots before going forward with that option.  And you would still have to manually clear checks that had been issued prior to the check lot change.
    At my company, we went with the second option - using ABAP code to update the check numbers from the file to match those in SAP (we actually had to add leading zeros to the check numbers).  In our case, we had already created a pre-processor program for other re-formatting of the file that was needed prior to loading it into SAP - so we added the check number logic to that.
    However, if you do not have a pre-processor program, I know there is a user exit available for EBS - exit EXIT_RFEBBU10_001, include ZXF01U01.  I have heard of others using this exit to update the check numbers from 16 records.  The exit is called during the FF.5 processing.

  • Removing Leading Zeros

    Hi Friends,
    I need to delete leading zeros from material while loading to ODS and have tried followings options:
    CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_OUTPUT
    Shift Variable LEFT deleting leading zeroes
    Both the options did not work in my case. I need to delete leading zeros from material. For example if source has material as "00000000002213749R" I was to convert it as "2213749R".
    Following is the code I am using in transformation:
    DATA: LV_MATNR(18) TYPE C.
    LV_MATNR = SOURCE_FIELDS-/BIC/Z9AMATNR.
    CALL FUNCTION 'CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_OUTPUT'
         EXPORTING
              INPUT  = LV_MATNR
         IMPORTING
              OUTPUT = LV_MATNR.
         RESULT = LV_MATNR.
    Also I tried the following code for SHIFT:
    DATA: LV_MATNR(18) TYPE C.
    LV_MATNR = SOURCE_FIELDS-/BIC/Z9AMATNR.
    SHIFT LV_MATNR  LEFT deleting leading zeroes
    RESULT = LV_MATNR.
    I tried both the option but could not get the leading zeros deleted. Can some one let me know whats wrong with the code, or is there any other option i can try for?
    Thanks,
    Manmit

    Hi amitesh,
                 Please try this code
    DATA: LV_MATNR(18) TYPE C.
    LV_MATNR = SOURCE_FIELDS-/BIC/Z9AMATNR.
    SHIFT LV_MATNR LEFT DELETING LEADING '0'.
      RESULT = LV_MATNR.
    Hope this will help u.....

  • How to maintian leading zeros in BI ?

    Hi All,
    We have a requirement for one InfoObject called "0RPA_MEAN" EAN Assignment to Article for this info object i need to maintain a leading zeros as its coming from R/3 end?
    Ex: In R/3 side EAN 123 is different than EAN 0123,EAN 00123.
    But while extracting in BW end the the leading zeros is getting skipped off?How to retain the leading zeros?
    In rsa3 its coming with the same leading zeros but in psa its not showing it?
    This is very serious issue going on, need your valuable inputs on this?
    Many thanks in advance.
    *Points Assured*

    Hi Rakesh,
                       When you extract data to BI there won't be any leading zeroes. So in PSA there won't be any leading zeroes.
    To bring leading zeroes from PSA itself.
    Double click on your datasource in rsa1. Click on the 'Fields' tab. Type 'ALPHA' for the source system field under the column 'Conv. Routines'. I think that will solve the problem.
    To bring leading zeroes after PSA (ie. from transformation onwards)
    But when load data from PSA to further data targets using transformation we can add leading zeroes.
    So in transformation click on rule details for that info object. In the rule details you have to use a function module called 'CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_INPUT'.  when you use this function module the leading zeroes will be added automatically.
    Thanking you,
    Jerry

  • Need leading zeros to fill the front of a 10 character parameter being passed-HELP!

    I have a prompt 10 character parameter that some people forget to insert the zero at the beginning of the number. ex.(they type "594468010", suppose to be "0594468010").  How can I fill in the leading zeros for them after they type in the prompt box?  My prompt comes from a command.  Here is a sample of the where clause:  WHERE DB.ID_NUMBER = '{?I_IDNO}'
    I tried to use LPAD('{?I_IDNO}',10,0), it works with plsql, but not when I run the crystal report.
    Does anyone have any ideas?  thanks for your help in advance!

    a) you can always use your database specific cast / convert function to convert the text field into a number for the purpose of record selection. then change the prompt type to numeric. crystal commands are database specific so you'd want to check your database help on what specific syntax to use for the cast / convert in the command.
    b) the other choice to leave the command & prompt type alone & use an edit mask on the command prompt...this would then force the end user to enter the leading zeroes as the edit mask would force a certain length on the entry. so in the crystal field explorer edit the prompt and put in an edit mask of 000000000 for example if you wish to force the end user to enter 9 numeric characters.

  • Leading zero is kept in arraylist ---

    Hello,
    Running the program below should remove all zeros from an arraylist; yet, the leading zero still appears in the output. Any explanation would be most helpful ... Thanks
    import java.util.ArrayList;
    public class Example
    public static ArrayList<Integer> nums = new ArrayList<Integer>();
    public static void numQuest()
    int k = 0;
    Integer zero = new Integer(0);
    nums.add(0);
    nums.add(0);
    nums.add(4);
    nums.add(2);
    nums.add(5);
    nums.add(0);
    nums.add(3);
    nums.add(0);
    while ( k < nums.size())
    if (nums.get(k).equals(zero))
    nums.remove(k);
    k++;
    System.out.print("contents of nums: " + nums );
    System.out.print("\n");
    public static void main (String[] args)
    numQuest();

    import java.util.*;
    public class Example {
        public static void main (String[] args) {
            List<Integer> numbers = new ArrayList<Integer>();
            Collections.addAll(numbers, 0, 0, 4, 2, 5, 0, 3, 0);
            System.out.println("before: " + numbers);
            numbers.removeAll(Arrays.asList(0));
            System.out.println("after: " + numbers);
    }looping over a collection while removing elements (which shifts the rest up) is a bad idea, unless you are going backwards from end to beginning.
    But using removeAll is even easier!
    The manual solution is to use an iterator and its remove method:
    import java.util.*;
    public class Example {
        public static void main (String[] args) {
            List<Integer> numbers = new ArrayList<Integer>();
            Collections.addAll(numbers, 0, 0, 4, 2, 5, 0, 3, 0);
            System.out.println("before: " + numbers);
            for(Iterator<Integer> i = numbers.iterator(); i.hasNext(); ) {
                if (i.next().equals(0)) {
                    i.remove();
            System.out.println("after: " + numbers);
    }

  • How could I thoroughly close the Leading Zero function of Material No.?

    There are only a checkbox in SPRO with the function Leading Zeros of Material No. in
    Material Master->Basic Settings->Define Output Format of Material Numbers.
    But this function either make the Material ID full of Leading Zeros or delete all the Leading Zeros of it.
    Could I make the Material ID as normal string type without those functions?
    Because I want to set my Material ID as different between '0001234' or '00001234'.
    Could any one help me? Thank you very much.

    Hi,
    Yes, of course you can, on the screen "Define Output Format of Material Numbers", you can find an indicator "Lexicographical", If this indicator is set, material numbers are stored as follows:
    If the material number (numeric or not purely numeric) was assigned externally, it is stored left-justified as entered.
    Example
    Defined length: 8 characters
    Externally assigned number: 123
    Stored number: 123
    Note
    Any leading zeros that may have been entered are stored too. This makes it possible to distinguish between the material numbers 123 and 0123.
    If the material number (numeric only) was assigned internally, it is padded with leading zeros to the defined length and stored left-justified.
    Example
    Defined length: 8 characters
    Internally assigned number: 123
    Stored number: 00000123
    Activate it and make the number is assigned externally, then you can realize your request!
    Good luck

    I am getting the value but it is truncating the leading zeros.

    can anyone help me out with this.

    How are you passing values to the IR filter? There could be a possibility that you source logic is truncating the leading zeros.
