Leap Year and Schema & Rules on Time Management

Hello,
On Time management, do you know how to configure on Schema & Rules if the year is a leap year?
Thanks, julien

    Hi all,
    i need to write a PCR for calculating the years of service from a date type in time management.
    HRS=FYAD01 gives me the full years but i need the exact fraction.
    suppose years of service is 5 years 6 months i should get 5.5 years in HRS?
    can anyone please help me?

    Hi semvladigo,
    I have problem..I am very new to writing PCRs for time management.
    Could you refer some articles or to some pages where the PCR s have been explained.
    I  am in need to write a PCR for calculating the Leave Quotas.
    Conditions:
    The employee should have spent 1825 days in the organization, from his DOJ.For the excess day that he has worked,He would be recieving a leave quota of 2.3 days per a time evaluation period.(Monthly)
    Would you please guide me in writing a PCR for this & where do this PCr to be inserted in the Schema Exactly.
    Have a nice day !

  • Important /standard Schemas & PCRs for Time Management

    Dear Gurus,
    I just completed my course and would like to explore more about Time Management.
    I would be glad if any one of you could share the important and most used schemas/ PCR's  of TIME MANAGEMENT in real time..
    Looking forward to hear from you soon to put myself in to SAP soon
    Sathya

    Hi sathya,
    For Time  Mgt mainly you have to focus on Schemas TM00, TM04
    and check the differences of those two,
    go to PE02 & read  document and concentrate on the below Pcrs.
    TO20            Calculate overtime with quota 2007 01
    TO10             Evaluate overtime approval in I0050
    TO15             Evaluate overtime approval in daily WS
    TO16              Determine overtime without approval
    TW15              Overtime after x hours/day

  • I have had my ipod for about three years and for the first time I can't downloan all my music.   Only about 10% is downloading.   I deleted sveral play lists to make I have plenty of space.   Any suggestions?

    I have had my ipod classic for several years and never had a problem downloading all my music.   Now for the 1st time I can only download about 10% of my music.     Any ideas?

    Which version of iTunes are you using? (please give me the version number and not the "latest")
    What is the iPod software number as listed in the iTunes summary page?
    How much free space, do you see on your iPod screen, when you go down main menu and  select the settings?
    And it should also display on your iTunes summary screen, when you connect the iPod, the free space available.
    How much song to you want to sync to you iPod?, normally if it is "Auto Sync", iTunes will delete all the songs in iPod and reload with the library content.
    If you have more than enough space in iPod and the sync stop at 10%, then it is another common unresolve problem, with Ipod Classic and iTunes interfacing.
    Have a nice day

  • Slow file access-Elements 12:  I store all my photo files (".nef" RAW files) in a RAID 1 external hard drive, which the Elements Organizer links to the reference thumbnails.  Over some time - say, the past year, and especially recently, the time to bring

    One further bit of information:  I did recently run a "disc scan", in case there were file system errors, then ran defragmentation -- on the external drive.  This did not solve the problem.

    I think I'll deal with your different questions in several posts, it'll be easier for me.
    josephunit2n a écrit:
    A few comments:  recently, for the first time, I did a full "backup catalog" routine (with external RAID storage connected) to a second external usb drive, which ran successfully (done, at the time, over longstanding concern that even the RAID 1 storage was not enough data security - as you have mentioned).
    Good thing, and it's not really a surprise for me, I would have expected no slow down in a process which only reads your RAID drive data.
    One big concern:  in all transactions (backup catalog; move to external storage) I always ignore the "reconnect missing files" dialogue.  This is due to past experience.  Long ago, when I ran it routinely, it was a disaster.  At first, I thought I might reconnect a few randomly missing files.  While this was so long ago I cannot recall all details, everything went to hell.  Even after manually locating a "missing" file,  the "reconnect" never worked.  The number of "missing" files skyrocketed, far out of any realistic number.  Even with Adobe phone support (which is critical for such an application - and must be made available again, I have no problem paying for it), the catalog was hopelessly corrupt, and I manually built a new catalog, file-by-file.  Adobe advice then:  NEVER USE "RECONNECT MISSING FILES", which I have followed religiously (while also trying to be meticulous in my transactions, not to ever create any "missing" files).
    I have never read Adobe advising to never reconnect missing files. Maybe it's not the best course in all circumstances, but I don't see a possible problem there. What is recommended by Adobe is to always reconnect files before doing a backup... Now, my own experience is that if you don't reconnect before a backup you get a restoration where the catalog still points to missing files and where those missing files have not been backed up, totally logical. I would not consider this question as a BIG concern.
    .  Finally, "just for fun", moments ago I connected the RAID storage drive, opened the organizer, and randomly opened a few images in "full screen" view - then opened a scattered group of 4 or 5 images -- and, they all came up promptly!!!!!  So, this "slow access" problem isn't consistent, all the time.  Also, I must comment, your advice to avoid the RAID 1 external usb drive, for future catalog storage, seems "tech superstition", which I will not harshly criticize, as I also have my own technology irrational superstitions.  I believe the computer "sees" this drive no differently than any other external, usb, drive.
    There's a difference between 'technology irrational superstition' and 'reasonable doubt due to ignorance' ... Understanding the problems which may arise when using a RAID drive array supposes understanding of:
    - how the organizer catalog recognizes any drive in its database. That's ok for me, but I have no personal experience of such systems. What I can tell you is that most of the problems I have seen with RAID systems were of that kind.
    - How efficiently the organizer deals with the OS when using a catalog stored on the main drive, with adequate RAM and scratch disk space while the files themselves are on the external RAID drive. Some organizing tasks imply writing to the files themselves. The xmp sidecar files (very small) are stored together with their raw parent. The thumbnails are stored in a database in the catalog folder...
    - How the organizer works with the OS (the APIs) and the particular disk driver. (I am totally ignorant, but I have seen similar problems for other Adobe applications in the feedback forum).
    ... As I said, I have to leave for a moment...
    To be continued!

  • Time Management - Building Rules

    Hi All,
    How to built rules in Time management so tht one absence type cannot be followed by another absence type for example Medical leave cannot be followed by Piad Leave but can be followed by Casual leave. ?

    I am also working on time managment module and my scenario is CL should not be combined with any other type of leave (PL, SL). I was tring to chk the program - SAPMYXYWS90300017H, but could not find as to which transaction code to look in... Can U please tell me how to access this program..I have tried exploring it in se80 & se38...

  • Good day! I have an iPod touch 4G and after many attempts I managed to updated it to ver. 6.1.5.

    Good day!
    I have had an iPod touch  version 4.1.2 for almost 4 years and after many attempts I manage to upated it to version 6.1.5.
    I then created an account with iCloud so that I could have my backups done directly to iCloud.
    I then restore the iPod to the backup I had on my computer but although it copied the photos, notes, contacts tc. it didn't copy the music I had on it.
    When I tried to sync my music from my iTunes on my PC I got a message stating that my iPod was previously sync to a DarklordPC, not a clue of who's PC this is and it's the first time this message came up. It gave me the option of erasing the sync of the DarklordPC and go ahead with a new sync, which I did, but it didn't sync at all.
    I've retried to sync numerous times and it tries to sync but after a few seconds it just stops.
    Can anyone help me please...I'm going crazy without my music

    You should have done this.
    Syncing to a "New" Computer or replacing a "crashed" Hard Drive: Apple Support Communities
    Syncing to a "New" Computer or replacing a "crashed" Hard DriveSynced media like apps and music are not included in the iPod backup that iTunes makes and they restore from backup will not restore synced media unless the media is in the iTunes library.
    You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
    Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

  • Leap Year, Month, determination program

    Hi - it's the learning student again :) Our new assignment is to create a program to determine leap year, month and day information. So basically you enter a year and the program says if it is a leap year. Then you enter a month and the program determines if that month is part of that leap year. And then you enter a day and determine if that day is part of that leap month that is part of that leap year. I have written a program to determine if it is a leap year and to determine that if the month is february it is a leap month, but not if the month is part of that leap year - so I am missing a step. And so it goes for the leap day - I have created the program to read that the 29th is a leap day but not exculsively to the month of february that falls in the leap year. Make sense? Here is my code so far:
    Here are details of the assignment:
    1.Prompt the user for a year using GUI dialogue window.
    a.Remember to give the user clear direction on input requirements.
    i.E.g. "Please enter month as integer 1-12:"
    2.Prompt the user for the month using GUI dialogue window.
    a.Remember to give the user clear direction on input requirements.
    b.** Please note: month must be input as a string, and then converted to an integer for the case statement below. This may require 2 case statements.
    3.Prompt the user for a day in the month.
    a.This must return a message to the user if the month doesn’t include that day.
    b.i.e. entering 30 in a February month should tell the user it is an invalid day and stop execution.
    4.Check to see if the year is a leap year.
    5.Check to see if the month is a leap month.
    6.Check to see if the day is a leap day.
    7.Display a user friendly back to the consumer indicating:
    a.Year entered & If it is a leap year
    b.Month entered & if it is a leap month.
    c.The number of days in the month (e.g. January has 31 days, whereas February has 28 unless it is a leap year.
    d.The day of the month entered & whether or not is a Leap day.
    e.Output can be in three different dialogue windows, or just 1 if desired.
    And here is my code - I am not sure what to do next. It is running and compiling without any errors right now but I know I am missing some steps. Any help or advice in what steps to take next would be appreciated!
    import javax.swing.JOptionPane;
    public class Leap_Year {
         public static void main (String[] args) {
         //Enter a year
         String enterYearString = JOptionPane.showInputDialog("Enter a year: ");
         //Convert year to an integer
         int enterYear = Integer.parseInt(enterYearString);
         // Check if year is a leap year
              boolean isLeapYear =
                        (enterYear % 4 == 0 && enterYear % 100 != 0) || (enterYear % 400 == 0);
         //Enter a month
              String enterMonthString = JOptionPane.showInputDialog("Enter a month as an integer, e.g. 1-12: ");
         //Convert month to an integer
         int enterMonth = Integer.parseInt(enterMonthString);
         //Check if month is a leap year
                   boolean isLeapMonth =
                             (enterMonth == 2);
         //Enter a day
                   String enterDayString = JOptionPane.showInputDialog("Enter a Day as an integer, e.g. 1-31: ");
         //Convert day to an integer
              int enterDay = Integer.parseInt(enterDayString);
         //Check if day is a leap day
                        boolean isLeapDay =
                                  (enterDay == 29);
         //Display the result
         String output = "The year " + enterYear + " is a leap year is: " + isLeapYear +
                   "\nThe month " + enterMonth + " is a leap month is: " + isLeapMonth +
                   "\nThe day " + enterDay + " is a leap day is: " + isLeapDay;
         JOptionPane.showMessageDialog(null,output);
    }

    Ok - so I may have "over-coded" - since I am totally new to programming this might be sloppy. Apologies ahead of time. I have most of the stuff figured out. A couple of problems I am having. When I display my results as to whether or not the month is a leapy year is reads as:
    The year 2012 is a leap year is: true
    The month of February in the year 2012 is a leap month is: true
    How would I go about making it display something simple like:
    The year 2012 is a leap year.
    The month of February in the year 2012 is a leap year. OR
    The year 2013 is not a leap year.
    The month of January in the year 2013 is not a leap month.
    Additionally, I need to write a case statement that would return an error statement if someone tried to enter the wrong number of days in a month (example entering 31 days for the month of February).
    Here is my current code:
    import javax.swing.JOptionPane;
    public class LeapYear2 {
         public static void main (String[] args) {
         //Enter a year
         String enterYearString = JOptionPane.showInputDialog("Enter a year: ");
         //Convert year to an integer
         int enterYear = Integer.parseInt(enterYearString);
         // Check if year is a leap year
              boolean isLeapYear =
                        (enterYear % 4 == 0 && enterYear % 100 != 0) || (enterYear % 400 == 0);
         //Enter a month
              String enterMonthString = JOptionPane.showInputDialog("Enter a month as an integer, e.g. 1-12: ");
         //Convert month to an integer
         int enterMonth = Integer.parseInt(enterMonthString);
         //Check if month is a leap year
                   boolean isLeapMonth =
                             (enterMonth == 2 && enterYear % 4 == 0 && enterYear % 100 != 0) || (enterYear % 400 == 0);
         //Enter a day
                   String enterDayString = JOptionPane.showInputDialog("Enter a Day as an integer, e.g. 1-31: ");
         //Convert day to an integer
              int enterDay = Integer.parseInt(enterDayString);
         //Check if day is a leap day
                        boolean isLeapDay =
                                  (enterDay == 29 && enterMonth == 2 && enterYear % 4 == 0 && enterYear % 100 != 0) || (enterYear % 400 == 0);
         //Set number of days to a variable
                        int numDays;
         //Calculate the number of days in a month
                        if (enterMonth == 2)
                             if (isLeapMonth)
                             numDays=29;
                        else
                             numDays = 28;
                        else if (enterMonth == 1 || enterMonth == 3 || enterMonth == 5 || enterMonth == 7 || enterMonth == 8 || enterMonth == 10 || enterMonth == 12)

    Hi Sowmya,
    TM04 is used for -ve Time mgt and is for planned working hours, - ve Time mgt wil capture the any deviations in your work schudule, i.e overtiem, Absence etc,
    and Time Mgt satus is reqiurd for the integtration with payroll,
    Time mgt staus 9 is for Integration with payroll,
    if u use +ve Time  actual working hour u use Time Mgt status 1,2

  • IS-U billing in a leap year

    Dear experts,
    We try to bill, in SAP IS-U, a period, begins in a non-leap year and ends in a leap year, (eg 01.11.2011 to 16.02.2012), with an annual price.
    We have implemented BADI ISU_BI_SIM_PRICE in order to cut the billing period into two periods, for rates based on annual calculation only (Z_FIX).
    We found that the calculation of basic monthly price facturation is also cut (e.g the rate :Z_QTE_IND)
    Please find attached the badi implementation and a copy of schemas.
    Best regards

    See my first guess below:
    1. In Invoice execution, error 'record 9000121411 not found in table EVER'?
    I think that the data you are trying to bill does not have a an active contract in the bill period you are billing for (unless you are creating a FINAL bill). This may be something you may have verified already, but I would suggest just in case go and check EVER table for the contract you are billing for is an active contract?
    2.Billing error: Operand factor error
    The OPERAND value is missing in the billing period. It has to be available in either Installation facts, RCfacts or rate facts for billing to pass on the operand value for further calculations.
    3. Manual billing is not reflecting the new IS_U contract (stoill showing old contract) ?
    Can you clarify on this one? When you said manual bill - Is it created through EA16? If it is created through EA16, then you have a choice of entering the correct contract in it on the screen itself.
    Hope this helps in your investigation.

  • Employees Salary without Time Management sub-module?

    Dear Consultants,
    Where to record employees attendance/absences (time related information) inorder to pay the salary through SAP-HR Payroll? We are implementing PA and Payroll (International). Time Management is not in the scope of the project.
    Could you please let me know, how can we handle this without Time Management. What would be the limitations without Time Management sub-module.
    Thank you all for your efforts.

    You have to create atleast the work schedule which will consist of DWS and PSW and then work scheedule rule. Also I think you will require to configure feature SCHKZ to default work schedule rule in IT0007.
    After doing this configuration you can create wagetypes related to ur time and you can pay these wage types through IT2010 ee remuneration info
    if the wt will have rate then that rate you can maintain in T510 and may be to meet the complete requirement you need to write little bit code in CATS exit.
    otherwise you will be able to pay through 2010 and you can enter the data thru CAT2 tcode. Just you need to create a profile and set the view for entering the data like single entry or mass entry.
    SPRO->IMG->Cross-Application Components->Time Sheet->Specific Settings for CATS Regular->CATS Regular->Record Working Time
    hope this will help

    Any error messages?
    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power off and then back on the router
    - Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
    - iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
    - iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
    - Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
    Apple Retail Store - Genius Bar
    maybe this:
    iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim
    If not successful, an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is usually in order.

  • Time management and Payroll

    Hi Team,
    _My first question:_
    Kindly can you let me know how does the data go and get process in Payroll apart from the below points?
    I would like to share with you my knowledge on it.
    Integration between IT0007 and IT0008-Capacity utilization
    After running Time evaluation Time results will get procerssed in Payroll through cluster B2.
    In the payroll schema XT00 is the sub schema where Payroll takes the Time data and process in Payroll.
    _My second question_
    Does XT00 reads cluster B2?
    _My third question_
    Whether TC:PT60/Report :RPTQTA00 is used to generate quotas?
    I would like to share with you my knowledge on it.
    I see that in both ways they can be generated.But let me know in what cases we use PT60 and RPTQTA00.
    _My fourth question_
    How can we carry forward the balance quota of the previous year to the next year with specific validity dates ?
    And also how can we carryforward only certain no.of quota ?
    Team sorry for such a long questionnaire .Kindly help me in getting answer and clarity on the above questions.
    Regards,
    Vimal

    Hi,
    Q1:Kindly can you let me know how does the data go and get process in Payroll apart from the below points?
    A1:Time evaluation integration with payroll: just as you said, but if no time eavluation run for some days in the payroll period, TC00 will be perform to run time data processing in payroll without B2 written.
    Without time evaluation: sub schema TC00 will be performed to run time data processing in payroll without B2 written.
    Q2:Does XT00 reads cluster B2?
    A2:  Yes, but depends on time management status of infotype 0007(time evaluation inte. with payroll)
    Q3:Whether TC:PT60/Report :RPTQTA00 is used to generate quotas?
    A3: Yes, both can generate quotas. For some simple case, or not implement time evaluation or have nothing to do with time type, you should use RPTQTA00. But for some special case, or time quota gen. with time types, you should use PT60.
    Example:
      case 1:Total 12 days one year, but 1 day increased each month, you should use PT60 to generate montly and increase.
      case 2:Overtime transfer to leave: you should use PT60, because it relates to time type (overtime)
      case 3:12 days one year, accrual at the beginning of year, you should use PT60 if you do not implement time evaluation.
    Q4:How can we carry forward the balance quota of the previous year to the next year with specific validity dates ?
    And also how can we carryforward only certain no.of quota ?
    A4:We can use time evaluation and write some PCR to achieve or just simple to set the validity dates and deduction priority.
    Hope helps,
    Chen Jian
