Have been using the Vibe X2 since 2 months. Phone keeps hanging when trying to pullup the contacts or when opening the SMS function. Terribly dissatisfied with the functioning.

Solved, I found the option there:
Contacts - local menu - More features and settings - More display options - Matching digits of number - 7 digits

Hi, Just put phone in the recovery mode and restore to the factory settings. It should work.

1. Checked the file extension is added or not to the search file types.
2. Checked file name has any invalid characters.
3. Resetting the crawl index and run a full crawl .

Please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried, until the issue is reolved. If there's no resolution after Step 3, post your results.
Step 1
Sign out of iMessage in the Accounts tab of the preferences dialog, then sign back in.
Step 2
Log out of your user account and log back in.
Step 3
Boot in safe mode and test, then reboot as usual and test again.
Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.

That's because the Mac, OS X and the iLife apps that came preinstalled on the Mac all belong to the previous owner. The previous owner needs to call Apple care and have their Apple ID disassociated from the Mac. Then the hard drive needs to be totally erased and OS X and the iLife apps reinstalled using OS X Recovery.

To be more precise: I am talking about the logging-in within the System Preferences on my iMac.
When trying to log in with the old ID, I get no access, i.e. it says "Try again"...-Trying the same with the new one gives me the result I mentioned in my first question...
Now I found out how to do it: I had to erase all accounts-then I could sign in with my Apple-ID. Thanks again.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.

Taken at face value, you're having trouble with an Apple Application Support program file there. (Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files used by multiple different Apple programs are kept.)
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "Apple Application Support" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "Apple Application Support", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
If no joy after that, try the more rigorous uninstall/reinstall procedure from the following post. (If you've got XP, although the procedure is for Vista and 7, just read "Computer" as "My Computer", read "Uninstall a program control panel" as "Add or Remove programs control panel" and assume the system is 32-bit, and you'll be doing the right things.)

Messages closes unexpectedly when trying to take and attach a photo within the application

I have a tried and true iPhone 4S (yeah, I know) running iOS 8.0.2. She's a tad slower than she used to be, but all in all seems to be working well with one exception. When I try to take a photo from within the Messages application, the app crashes. It has happened every time I try this. I can do a workaround, which involves: Closing Messages, going to Camera, taking the photo, going back into Messages and then choosing the existing photo, attaching the existing photo and finally sending the message with photo attached...but whew, what a lot of extra steps. Anybody else seeing this? Any settings changes that might fix this? If not, anyone know if this is on the defect fix list for iOS 8.1?

Hi,
Open a Finder window. Select your Home Folder in the Sidebar on the left. Then open the Library folder then the Preferences folder.
Move the com.apple.PhotoBooth.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Trash.
Restart your Mac.
