Leopard Server License Key suddenly becomes invalid after update to 10.5.8

After doing the update to 10.5.8, when I go into Server Admin, it says my License Key is a duplicate and locks me out of all services and only allows ten clients to connect. I tried switching the license to another, and the same thing happens. And both keys work perfectly fine on a different server. Any suggestions as to what may be going on?

Here is a copy of what keeps appearing in the Server Admin log file if that helps at all:

Sure you can change the license key, without re-doing a complete install of BO XI. Just go to CMC->Lisence Keys, and add your new product key.
Then you 'll see bellow, the new information about u key (CPU/Date limitation).

PL/SQL packages containing DB Links suddenly becomes invalid

Hi all --
I was wondering in anyone has come accross the issue my data warehouse team has been experiencing with PL/SQL packages utilizing DB Links. We currently use db links to load some of the data from our transactional databases into the data warehouse tables. The packages once compiled remain valid for a short period of time and then suddenly become invalid. When attempting to recompile the package we receive ORA-00904 errors even though running the statement through SQL Plus works fine. We've tried dropping the database link and re-creating it, but the package still will not recompile. The only way to correct the issue is to shutdown and restart the database. The db links in question are from a 10G Release 2 database to a 8.1.7.4 database. Any insight would be helpful.

We often had similar issues over dblinks between two 8.1.7.2 databases. The result was ORA 600 errors which could only be corrected by shutdown/re-start. Our DBAs eventually came up with flushing the shared pool, instead of the shutdown/re-start.

It's absolutley scandalous that a company with Apple's resources can let this happen. They should have staggered the release by region rather than opening the flood gates. The upgrade itself took me about 10 attempts to download it, and then I thought I was home free. That was until it rebooted and won't activate. It's over 2 hours now.

Data Integration Management (DIM) 9.3.1 server license key is invalid

Hi all,
I am trying to install the Hyperion DIM server 9.3.1 to my Enterprise Redhat Linux 4. I run the setup program without any problem. When I when the configuration utility to configure the DIM, it asks for the connectivity keys. I just grid it from http://licensecodes.oracle.com/hyperion.html. But, it complaints that the license key is invalid.
Does anyone successfully install and configure DIM server in Linux environment? Please help.

Windows 2008 Server License Key not working on VirtualBox

I have a validated licensed copy of Windows 2008 Server and I need to load it on a Virtual machine (I am running Oracle VirtualBox). When I had the server running on a hardware based server it worked fine. The license key activated and it worked. Now when
I load it onto the VirtualBox solution it fails. It will take it when I run the manual command but will not show my server as activated. This is for my private use only (internal home LAN) but I would prefer to have the activation be correct since I use this
setup to help keep fresh on Windows 2008 servers while being on a Linux OS with a VM software loaded. What can I do to have this server activate correctly under the VirtualBox?

Base on my experience, after we convert a physical computer system to virtualize environment we need to reactive it, with MAK active method we need keep this vm to connect to
internet and with KMS method please confirm this vm can communicate with your KMS server.

SAP NW CE 73 trail version license key installation shows invalid license

Hi,
I have installed SAP NW CE 73 trail version in my system.
It installed successfully, after I try to install license key using NWA it shows no valid license found.
Every time after restart it works 10-15 min after that it shows same error message (no valid license found).
Let me know how to solve my issue.

Tiger Server license key mismatch

I'm re-installing my OS X Tiger 10.4 server, only to be faced with a prompt for the license key. I entered as according to my "software serial number" sticker - but bizarrely the system requires the fourth field (single character) to be a letter - whereas on my sticker it is most definitely a number (zero).
Why the discrepancy here? Is this a known problem? How does one get around it?

Sometimes it is a letter sometimes a number. It depends on what was entered ahead of it.
Whenever I get a rejected / invalid serial number notice it is usually due to me "fat fingering" something earlier in line.
You know, "i"s that look like "l"s and "1"s.
Seems to happen more often the older I get.

MATERIALIZED VIEW BECOMES INVALID AFTER REFRESH

In my enviroinment we have a MATERIALIZED VIEW ,which is refreshed by a sheduled DBMS_SNAPSHOT.REFRESH Job post the refresh it becomes invalid and every time we have to compile it manually ,Could anybody help with a solution .Thanks a lot in Advance .

Control key no longer works after update.

After updating Lion the control key no longer works. It beeps when pressing control and then a number key but nothing happens.
This is left control key though. Right still works?

Installing license key in CE1 ( Type Release Updated )

Because this is a JAVA only system, I only know two ways to obtain the Hardware key, needed to get a SAP license key from http://service.sap.com/sap/bc/bsp/spn/minisap/minisap.htm.
Via `saplicense.exe -get, which is not possible because saplicense.exe is not there. I look for it on every disk on the system. So it was really not there.
The download of the database independent part of a kernel, from the SAP Service Marketplace.solved this, ( downloads Support Packages and Patches"u00A0SAP NetWeaver"u00A0SAP NETWEAVER"u00A0SAP NETWEAVER 2004S"u00A0Entry by Component"u00A0Application Server ABAP -->SAP KERNEL 7.00 32-BIT -> #Database independent -> Windows Server on IA32 32bit In this file is a working saplicense.exe.
Via the Visual Administrator. There is no directory D:\usr\sap\CE1\J01\j2ee\admin directory,
so I don't know how to start the Visual Administrator
To install the license key file I also need a Visual Administrator. Or is there another way to install the license file from |SAP?

I faced a problem, which required me to install the licence (on M36). I was searching for how to do it, came across this link.
I did it through netweaver adminitration. http://localhost/nwa/licenses --> install license --> browse your license file and add.
