Library File not found - bug?

Hi All,
I was trying to add a taskflow to the navigation , as find out that the resource library(initial context factory) for the task flow links , the one mentioned in the navigation registry is missing. -oracle.adf.rc.adapter.library.ResourceLibraryFactory.
tried creating a new webcenter portal application and got the same issue. I am using Jdeveloper Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.5.0 with web center extension 11.1.1.5.0.xx.
The taskflow link apperas in the navigation when we add it to the default navigation and whenever we accesss the the link in the navigation reference , it throws some exception and the task flow wont run. Please let me know , if this is the missing resource library that cause the task flow .
Any other pointers to add a taskflow (without pagefragments ) as a link to the navigation will be helpful.
Got a similiar issue in the same forum which is unanswered : Task Flows - ResourceLibraryFactor "not found"?
Thanks,
jzwl

Hi Daniel.. thanks for the quick response,
I am using taskflows without page fragments, and it works fine when run independently and currently the permissions are set to anonymous users. Whenever I drag and drop an task flow to the default navigation , it allows to select the task flow definition xml , but while runing the page it gives some null pointer exceptions.
This same task flow run as a link in the navigation , when used as an external url  link (redirect to url option inside the navigation options ).
Is there any way, the task flow can be a part of navigation without being external url or using page fragments. I couldn't see any documentation part says, it doesn't' support the Task Flows based on pages (jspx).
thanks,
jzwlHi again
I mark as bold some points.
1) I am using taskflows without page fragments,. Ok you are in bounded task flow JSPX pages.
2) permissions are set to anonymous users. You set permission in adf-config of your Fusion Web Application (ADF) or in adf-config of WebCenter Portal Application?.
3) I couldn't see any documentation part says, it doesn't' support the Task Flows based on pages (jspx). You can't put a Task Flow based on JSPX into another JSPX because are "full pages" and a page _only can cointain one af:document as root element. In addition, it is executed in a hidden project page called navigation-rendered.jspx
4) This same task flow run as a link in the navigation , when used as an external url  link (redirect to url option inside the navigation options ). You are navigating to external Task Flow and not doing PPR/embebing in Page Template.
5) Is there any way, the task flow can be a part of navigation without being external url or using page fragments. Task Flows droped in navigation are rendered in a hidden JSPX page called navigation-rendered.jspx. You can see this page showing it in Project Properties. Your Task Flow finally will be a <af:region> that must be Page Fragments based. Transform your TaskFlow from JSPX to JSFF with right click and "convert to Task Flow with Page Fragments" when you are editing your Task Flow and regenerate ADF JAR Library.
I hope this help you.
Regards.

  • File Not Found bug with long audio file names?

    Hello -
Crazy problem. I'll probably post way too much information, but I want to make sure I cover everything. Help!
We run Logic Studio/Logic 8 on multiple 10.4.10/11 computers - G5 Power PC, new intel iMac, intel mini, G4 laptops. We are working on an audio post job using very messy OMFs that were prepared in Final Cut. We had problems opening them in Logic, so we opened the OMFs in Soundtrack Pro, exported to AAFs, and opened those in Logic.
The sessions look fine in Logic now (all files relinked), and the session is consolidated - ie, all files are local/in the project folder's Audio Files folder. I see this in the Audio Bin and can confirm in the finder.
Here's the problem. With the sessions closed:
    (A) I renamed the project folder by adding an asterix to the front of the folder name, and changed the color label of the folder in the finder in order to mark it as the original folder.
    (B) I made a copy of the whole folder (session files & audio files) in order to have something to work from and not mess up the original. When I opened up the session in the new folder, it immediately said audio file not found, do you want to search, locate, or skip. It couldn't find the file in a search, and obviously when you skip, then skip, then skip all, it opens the session with the data (regions are there but grayed) - so all the audio files are orphaned.
So when I try to locate the file, here's what happens. . . The audio file names are really horrendously long (must be some artifact of working in Final Cut). We're talking: "1087-001A SERG AIRPORT WAITING * 1-1channel_00044D02AA9- 363A-4CC5-A86B-0741023DB062.aif" - one bazillion characters.
So the audio file locate dialog box truncates the name of the file that's missing by using the first 20 characters or so, and then a "#" character, and then some random string of 3-6 characters that is not at all related to the file name. So who knows which of the 4-30 SERG AIRPORT files is supposed to go there!
Obviously if this were a 2 minute session file of 10 files or something, we could figure it out and relink everything, but we're talking about a feature-length session with a bazillion files.
    (C) Okay, so I tried to open the original session, in the folder that I had renamed by prefacing the original name with an * and changing the color of the folder. But I started to get the file not found errors. OH GEEZ. So I didn't save. I re-renamed the folder by taking out the * and changing the color label back. Then I tried to open the session again, but I still kept getting the file not found problem.
I have to stress that I didn't move any of the audio files, or change ANYTHING in the session.
So I thought - is all of this because I tried to open a new instance of the session, in a new instance of the folder? Is it because I renamed the folders? Normally you can rename folders, even session names, no problems, and Logic corrects the paths to the audio files!
    (D) So, crap. I reopened the original AAF file in logic and saved it in a new place. I closed the file, reopened it, closed, reopened, just to make sure everything was working! I checked the location of the files in the audio bin, and everything was great.
    (E) So now I copied the folders to an external hard drive to be able to work on another computer. But when I tried to open the sessions on a new computer. . . You guessed it, nada.
So. . . the questions are:
    (1) Those original sessions that now will not work - is there anything I can do to recover their functionality? We had work in there that I would prefer not to lose. . .
    (2) Is this a known bug having to do with the length of the Audio File names?
    (3) How do we get over this? My only idea so far is we could select all in a working logic session and say "Audio Tracks names to regions" or something and will that change the actual file names on teh computer? Then hopefully things would work on mulitple systems. . .
    Okay. HELP! Thanks!
    Polly

    OK I got it.
It is necessary to use prefix "file:///" before file name.
    Thanx everyway.

  • Is the Monstrous GB1 "File Not Found" Bug Fixed in GB3?

I'm using GB1 and I've discovered that songs with imported AIFF audio like to get corrupt, and when you open them, say they can't find something like "MyFile#68343EF.aiff".
The actual file it should be looking for is "MyFile.aiff".
Apple seems unconcerned with patching this flaw that makes GB1 completely unusable.
Is this still happening in GB3??
I see one GB3 post on a fellow about to kill himself over a disappeared AIFF file but I'm not sure if that's the same issue or not.

I found your thread. But that's a totally different problem. Your issue is, if you record directly to GB, the AIFF audio file goes into the Package and a segment appears for it in the GB timeline. If you now delete the segment from the timeline and resave, GB deletes the AIFF audio file from the Package.
(That's actually logical behavior -- there just should be a warning and option to save a copy of the AIFF to the Desktop before deleting from the song.)
My problem is totally different. It occurs for pre-existing AIFF files that you've dragged into the timeline.
GB loses track of the existing AIFF files (linked or in the Package). The segments are still in the timeline -- but they show as "silence". GB is looking for file names that are variations of the original AIFF file name, instead of the actual AIFF file name.
Here's someone having the problem with GB2 or GB3 I think:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=3093150
The workaround of "just dragging the audio back into the timeline" is no solution if the timeline consists of hundreds of tiny little segments painstakingly edited together from different AIFF audio files.

  • "File not found" error when I try to render an animated menu (on mac) Encore CS4

I'm making a dvd with at least 2 animated menus. It means that I have a 1 movie in the background of each menu. Over my background, I have 3 thumbnail buttons which contain a small piece of movie animated movie too. When I try to to view my menus, in order to see the animation in the background and in the thumbnails I need to render the animation through File - Render - Motion menus.
The problem is that it works for the first menu but then when I continue my navigation to the second menu that has animation in background and thumbnails too, if I choose Render Motion menus, after 3/4 of the rendering it says "file not found" even if all the files are well in place in their folders.
Does anyone would have an idea of how to resolve this stupid problem that prevents me to burn my project on a DVD since the same errors will appear during the burning process (I use a mac with Encore CS4). Is it a bug? What are the solutions? Thanks for answering.
    Steven.

    SteveDVD,
The use of the .WMV was because that was part of the Library .EM template. I would not anticipate problems with other formats, so long as they are supported and the same for all of your Menus in the Project.
If you have done several Motion Menu Renderings, you might want to clear Encore's Media Cache, just in case it is still referencing previous Render files.
And yes, the re-Importation should yield the same result as Linking/re-Linking.
Unfortunately, I do not have CS4, so I can't test this for you. There do seem to be a few real Bugs in the various CS4 programs, and maybe this is one?
That "File Not Found" rings a bell in my feeble brain. Seems that there was a post on that, but I do not remember it being related to Motion Menus. Maybe search will yield something of use.
    Good luck,

  • Library -lc: not found when compiling ncurses 5.7 in solaris 10

    Hi,
I'm using Solaris 10 x86_64 and I am having problems compiling ncurses 5.7. This is the error message when I try to execute make:
    gcc ../objects/tic.o ../objects/dump_entry.o -I../progs -I../../progs -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I../../progs/../include -I. -I../include -D__EXTENSIONS__ -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -DNDEBUG -I/usr/local/include/ncurses -O2 --param max-inline-insns-single=1200 -static -L../lib -lncurses -L../lib -lncurses -dynamic   -o tic

    make[1]: *** [tic] Error 1
    make[1]: Leaving directory `/Documents/ncurses-5.7/ncurses-5.7/objdir/progs'

I've read that this error happens because you cannot statically compile with the c library in Solaris and that this is not exactly an ncurses bug. I am quite new to Solaris and I do not understand this entirely? Can anyone help me fix this? And perhaps give some explanation as well?
Your help would be much appreciated.

  • ITunes:  "File not found"

I have been having a problem for quite some time with iTunes and I can't seem to get an answer as to how to resolve it. On many of my songs listed in the iTunes library, when I click on the song I get an error message to the effect of "File not found. Would you like iTunes to try to locate this file?", and when I say "yes" to this, I get my "iTunes Music" folder (where my music files are stored) and I have to search around and find the file (which I am usually able to do) and then it plays. However, when sometime later I may try to play the song again, I get the same error message and have to go through the same process. Can anyone explain why this may be happening and how I can prevent it from happening again? What is the simplest way to store your music files on your hard drive to ensure iTunes captures everything and does not have difficulty locating files? Many thanks for your help and advice!

This really shouldn't happen. There are no setting in iTunes to prevent it.
If you want to do a bit of detective work, you find out where iTunes this the missing file is located.
If you want to try this, identify a track or two with exclamation marks.
Open iTunes Library.xml with WORDPAD. (it's in the iTunes folder)
Use search to look for the track or album name. If you know the actual file name you can use that but watch out for spaces, the space character is represented by %20.
WHen you have found a track or album you need to scroll to the line starting:
    <key>Location</key>
This contains the path and file name.
Is it correct, or something different?
That might give you clue about files being moved or renamed.
If it is all correct them something odd is happening with iTunes.

  • Removing warning for "Default CSS file not found."

I am getting this warning in Flash Builder:
    "Default CSS file not found."
I can not for the life of me figure out how to get rid of it. Any suggestions?

Default css file can be specified as a compiler option (per SWC, I think).
    See http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/3/html/help.html?content=compilers_14.html
For example, flex framework has a default CSS file: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder 4\sdks\3.5.0\frameworks\projects\framework\default.css
Do you have some library project or a swc with default css file option turned on, but the css file is missing?

Try a more recent version of my advice. The "for older video cards version" may work when the default version doesn't.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for installation or performance issues, or compatibility with QuickTime or third party software.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there are also links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.

As nathand already mentioned, depending on your C toolchain your DLL will depend on other DLLs. Usually the according msvcrtXX.dll that matches your Visual C version, if you use Visual C, other runtime DLLs if you use a different C environment. These runtime DLLs are even necessary if you do not call anything in any of your functions, since the DLL makes various initialization steps when it gets loaded and that references some C runtime functions nevertheless. Compiling and linking the DLL with static C runtime is usually also not a clean solution since the linked in C runtime will then reference Windows APIs that are not available on LabVIEW RT.
Depending on your version of LabVIEW RT you will have some mscvrtxx.dll files in your system directory but it will be an older one than from the latest Visual Studio version. If you can compile your DLL with that Visual Studio version then you should be fine, but could possibly run into new problems if you later upgrade to a newer LabVIEW RT version. Installing the C runtime distributables from newer Visual Studio versions is unfortunately also not a solution, since it references many (undocumented) Windows API functions that are not available in LabVIEW RT.
