  • Connect Pro plugin hangs "Loading"

    Hi,
    I have a problem on one computer (a Mac) whereby I launch my meeting room from Safari, it starts the Connect Pro Plugin (Mac) and then just hangs, staying on the loading screen.  Using ?launcher=false on the URL allows the room to be opened just fine in Safari, but of course I cannot share my screen, etc.  If I try to launch my meeting room from Firefox, the Connect Pro plugin works just fine.
    I have tried removing cookies in Safari, emptying the cache in the Connect Pro plugin, with no joy.
    Please help!  Any advice or suggestions will be very welcome!

    I'm having the exact same issue.  OS is 10.5.8.  I've removed the previously installed addin (found at ~/Library/Preferences/Macromedia/Flash Player/www.macromedia.com/bin/) and started a new install.  Same issue.  Launcher=false in the URL allows me to participate in a meeting.
    Firefox is not running, nor is any other browser instance or Connect Pro session.
    Support had fixed this for me at one time but it seems to have reverted sometime recently with the new Connect release.

  • Lightroom  export to plugin...

    What is  "Lightroom can't  prepare selected file  and will close ?  How can I make it stop... Two days of trying to fix is making me nuts.

    I guess I was a bit confused by reading: "By authorizing this link, you'll allow Jeffrey's Export-to-Flickr Lightroom Plugin to: . . . . .
    Delete photos and videos from your account", as if the plug-in sort of would have a life on its own and start deleting my files. Which, I see now, was not the case. See also my other two replies to this thread.
    As for Flickr to delete (among other things) my files, I'm really not that worried, as I am an amateur with little or nothing to lose. It was the idea of having this 3-part program interfering with my photos which scared me off a bit, along with the fact that I only yesterday encounterd another LR plugin - from Adobes/Scott Kelbys site, which included two trojans. But it all seems sorted out now.
    Thanks,

  • PXI 8196 connection problem: plugin not installed

    Hello NI:
    The host PC interacting with our PXI 8196 (1052 chassis) recently had a hard drive failure, and I have had to reinstall all of our LabVIEW software and custom VIs on a new computer. The software is up and running, but I am having problems with connectivity to the PXI. The PXI is recognized in MAX, and everything is accessible (scales for our load cells, etc etc). But when I open up my labview VI project, I cannot connect to the PXI. It has a yellow triangle with an exclamation point next to it, and when I right click, the error message says that the plug-in is not installed. I have one CD that seems to have PXI drivers on it, but after installing, I had the same problem.
    I was not the one who originally connected this system, and I am having trouble finding the documentation to get me back up and running. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Eric
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    So I have attached a screenshot from MAX showing all my devices and modules. Through MAX, I am able to access test panels for my modules (like the 6259 DAQ board) as well as the custom scales I have previously set up for the 9 load cells we use. The other screenshot shows where the issue still lies... when opening my LabVIEW project.
    When re-installing all the software, I do not remember seeing anything titled "PXI Platform Services". Will all of the MAX connections work without Platform Services? If not, can you direct me to the correct download? We are using Windows XP and LabVIEW 8.2.
    Also, I do not see the PXI or anything from NI in the Windows Device Manager. Again, maybe this is because the above Platform Services are not installed?
    Thanks for your help!

    • Creative Cloud Connection. Our first major update will come in a few weeks and include our desktop client. Connection will complete the circle, offering automatic syncing of your desktop machine. You’ll be able to edit or create files on any device and have your changes pushed everywhere else you work.

  • Lightroom,Nik plugins and color spaces

    I'm having an issue and not sure who is holding the smoking gun.  I have the Nik ultimate collection installed which covers Lightroom and Photoshop CS5 extended. I work primarily in Lightroom and apply most corrections globally but occasionally i need to do localized adjustments so the photo gets shipped off to Photoshop.  Here's a typical scenario:
    1) From Lightroom edit in Dfine 2.0 for noise - as copy with Lightroom adjustments which gets copied as a tiff.
    2) From Lightroom edit in Viveza 2 - as original since we're now working with a tiff and I don't want a copy for every single thing I'm doing.
    3) Edit in Photoshop
    Now there's two issues at this point:
    1) The edits do not show up in the Lightroom history - it's like nothing happened.
    2) Photoshop will complain that the assigned profile is sRGB.  Really?
    #1 is a PITA because if I want to rewind I have to start all over since there's no history - what exactly is responbsible to set an edit as history?  Lightroom or the plugin?
    #2 is by far the most serious as it degrades the work in a seriously bad manner.  I mean, WTH - I'm moving along in ProPhoto Ferrarri space and all of a sudden - *boom* - I'm running in sRGB moped mode.
    I looked at edit->Preferences->External Editing -> Additional External Editor and indeed when I select the Nik plugins from the combo box  preferences the default for the plugins is sRGB.  I can change to ProPhoto and quit.  I repeated this for each plugin assuming that somewhere the setting was remembered.  Nope  LR acts dumb as a rock and shows sRGB as the defaults for all except the currently selected plugin.
    So my questions are:
    - who's gonna own up to the problem - LR or Nik?
    - how can I work around it?
    - how can I make LR remember the settings?  Not a registry key nor INI file in sight to set them - so where/how are the plugins tracked?
    Thanks for any help!
    Jon

    Jon,
    The User Interface for changing how external editors are invoked is about as smart as your average chunk of granite.
    After you change the Color Space to the one you want, you have to click on the Preset box and choose "Save current settings as new preset...". Not exactly intuitive, but there you are.

  • Lightroom: Geotags/ locations from iphoto import (using plugin) are not showing in Lightroom and metadata

    Hi, I imported my iphotos to Lightroom using the plugin and realised that the geotagging/locations that I did on iphoto did not get transferred.  What is the best way for me to get the geotags transferred without having to geotag all the photos on Lightroom again?  Going forward, I intend to geotag my photos on Lightroom only, how do I make sure they are in the metadata?  Thanks!

    Hi ltjunior,
    Where are your images stored on your computer?
    Can you locate them, and import them directly from Finder to Lightroom's Library module?
    More info on importing from iPhoto here: Lightroom Help | Import photos from iPhoto (Mac OS)

  • Lightroom 5 is not exporting my previews in the catalog, please help!

    I purchased Lightroom 5 on Wednesday and had no problem exporting my images from a catalog that included previews and smart previews. Now it is having trouble exporting my previews. I'd tried restarting lightroom, trying different folder, I made sure all images were there, and still no luck. I would appreciate any help!

    To be clear: Lightroom (without a plugin) can not (or should I say will not) export "plain" (lib) previews.
    That said, if there is a smart preview, you should be able to export.
    Are you saying there is a smart preview, but you can't export?
    What about if there is NOT a smart preview - still a problem??

  • How connect an HTML page to a running Java Application?

    Hi,
    Exists a way to connect an HTML page to a running Java Application?
    the idea is, If we use SWT, the Browser widget have an instance of IE/Firefox attached to it, and we load local HTML pages inside, then i wish to have a way to bridge Java Application from HTML page. Then with that we can do follow JScript:
    var javaApp = document.getJavaApplication(); //here is the trick
    //below is like we do today with applets
    var person = container.create("myapp.Person");
    person.setName("Test");
    container.save(person);its great if we can Have an attribute for object tag or anything to conect HTML page to Java Application.

    I think that the better idea is to create a new mime type for that, maybe "application/x-java-connect-to-local-jvm", and use embed tag, to connect via plugin to a running JavaApp
    example:
    <embed type="application/x-java-connect-to-local-jvm" width="20" height="20" mainClass="mypackage.AppName"><br>
    <script>
    var javaApp = document.embeds[0];
    function createPerson()
      var person = javaApp.getNew("mypackage.Person");
      person.setName("test");
      javaApp.save(person);
    }The width and height, isnt necessary, but the view can be used to show red if connection failed and green for sucessfull connections, or maybe embed tag can have src to images for sucessfull and unsucessfull states.
    That's the idea, there is a way to extend Java Plugin to achieve that?
    any tip or idea or to achieve that, are welcome.
    Thanks

  • PhotoShop CC plugins not available

    I own Design and web Premium CS6 and Lightroom 5.2 running with NIK and Canon Printer iPF9100 plugins running just fine
    on a Win7 machine.
    I purchased and installed PhotoShop CC about a month ago/ When I start PhotoShop CC from the exec file the
    NIK and Canon plugins do not show up. If I am in Lightroom and ask to edit in PhotoShop CC the file opens
    in PhotoShop CC and I can access both plugins. If I am in Lightroom the NIK plugin is available and works just fine.
    I have tried putting the plugins in:
    NIK:
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC (64 Bit)\Plug-ins
    Canon:
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC (64 Bit)\Plug-ins\iPF9100 Print Plug-In for Photoshop x64\Print Plugin for iPF9100
    C:\Program Files\Canon\iPF9100 Print Plug-In for Photoshop x64\Print Plugin for iPF9100
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CC\Print Plugin for iPF9100
    My Canon dealer says the driver and plugin for my printer work just fine on other customers machines.
    Any thoughts?

    Common file plugin removed. You are right - When I first installed PShop CC I was launching the 64 bit version from the start menu but when I pinned the icon to the task bar I inadvertantly chose the 32 bit version. When I activated from Lightroom the 64 bit version of PhotoShop launched. I thought I had checked that possibility but apparently not.
    Operator error!
    Thanks a bunch!

  • Ftp plugin problem

    Formerly working Lightroom 5 ftp plugin now returns the following error message: Unable to export. Cannot upload because Lightroom could not create the destination directory. Using a standalone ftp client with the same settings works fine. Any help appreciated.

    Very few users contribute to this forum -- you might try reposting in the main LR forum: Photoshop Lightroom.

  • A Dr. I support in my daily work is unable to enter an Adobe Connect meeting. She is using a Dell 760 computer.

    When she types her name and presses enter, she is directed to a webpage stating she needs Adobe Flash Player 11.2 or greater. Adobe Flash Player 17 is installed on the computer. I have already installed Adobe Connect 9 Plugin for windows. Windows 7 in her operating system. What can I do to resolve her problem?

    Have they tried using a different web browser?

  • Lightroom's HTML gallery does not validate

    Web gallery created by Lightroom 1.3.1:
    http://automagisk.no/
    Validation at W3C fails:
    http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fautomagisk.no%2F&charset=%28detect+automati cally%29&doctype=Inline&ss=1&group=0&verbose=1
    The errors seem pretty straight-forward, and I hope Adobe will fix them soon.

    Here's a fix (work in progress):
    The index page, at least. I have yet to look at the linked pages. It validates as XHTML1.0-transitional.
    It's necessary to edit two files: head.html and grid.html
    The first one needs to have the type declaration changed and the meta and link tags closed where necessary with the XHTML /> ending. The second needs the
    and tags moved inwards so they only surround the image tag, not the div tags.
    These files are located (on a Mac) in:
    /Applications/Adobe Lightroom.app/Contents
    /PlugIns/Web.agmodule/Contents/Resources/galleries
    /default_html.lrwebengine/
    which you can navigate to via Finder directory hopping and using "show package contents" for the .app, .agmodule and .lrwebengine packages.
    I don't know about the Windows equivalent, but I may get a chance to look at that tomorrow.
    I also want to tinker with the CSS files, but I have yet to work out how it generates the file custom.css
    More to do.

  • Lightroom printing issue with print server

    I have a DP-G310 print server set up. It works fine with every programme but Adobe Lightroom. When I click print after a while I get the message failed to print. All my other programmes print ok, IE Word, Wordpad, Indesign CS3, Photoshop CS3, Illustrator CS3. The printer I am using is a Canon i9900. I also use a HP cp1700 set up on the same system the same way and has the same problem with Lightroom. If I turn the computer off after the page failed to print (not restart) and then turn the computer back on, it prints. Lightroom prints ok when I connect with a normal USB cable. I am using windows XP, 2gb ram Lightroom 1.4 .1 The same thing happens with Lightroom 2 Beta. Any ideas would be welcome.
    Just in case anyone has a similar problem, this isue has nothing to do with Lightroom. By trial and error I discovered the problem was caused by my internet connection and was initiated by Lightroom connecting to the internet checking for updates. If anyone has any ideas how I can sort out this conflict so I can use Lightroom and print wirelessly at the same time as being on the Interenet I would be grateful.
    Thanks
    Alan
