Lightroom cursor wont click

I'm running 10.8.5 and Lightroom 5 (although the problem was present in previous version of both operating system and Lightroom)
While browsing and rating images I lose the use of any left clicking within Lightroom. I can still go through the images using the left and right arrows and the right click will work on my mouse, but anything within the lightroom working space will not left click.
Although all menu items at the top are accessible, I need to restart Lightroom to get left click to work again within the lightroom window. Any ideas?

Try deleting Lightroom's preferences: Resetting (or 'Trashing') the Lightroom Preferences file - Lightroom Forums. Sprinkling that magic fairy dust often fixes strange UI problems.

Trackpad does not work properly

My blackberry scroller wont click or scroller!

My blackberry scroller wont click or scroll! I have phoned blackberry and they want to restart it so I wanna see if there is anything I can to fix it to prevent them doing that!
I tried taking out the battery and clicking five times, it works but it broke again then that didnt work again!
I also tried putting a piece of tissue between the sim card and the battery and it work but again when is stoped it wouldn't work again!
I have taken to battery in and out soooooo many times and I left the battery and the sim card out for the whole night and part of the day!
Does anyone have any other ideas?

Welcome to the BB Community...
Since ur having a BB 9300(as mentioned in ur profile), its a trackpad, not a scroller...
The things that u have already tried does works at times(as it did in ur case too) but those are a temporary solution...permanent solution wud be replacing the trackpad...do take ur BB to a BB service center and get it replaced...
NB: do take a backup b4 that cz after replacement, ur OS wud be reinstalled.

Like alot of others lightroom 5 wont download. It freezes at 42%. Im running windows 8 on a quadcore A4. Any ideas

Try locating the lightroom exe ( Executable) file into Temp folder and install the product by running that executable file.
To locate Temp folder.
Hold Win ( Key) + R to open Run window.
Type %temp% press Enter.
Locate Lightroom exe file into Temp folder and Run it.

I did't have a problem clicking on the link. It is JavaScript perhaps you have JavaScript turned off Tools > Options > Content or perhaps NoScript extension.

For the future, you might want to consider changing batteries in both the keyboard and mouse before they run down completely and/or have any older USB keyboard and mouse on hand for emergency (those can also come in handly if you need to boot using keyboard commands which sometimes fail to respond with a bluetooth keyboard).

lightroom CC wont startup after installation on both my mac's, it only hows a splash screen at startup.
I have tried to restart the computer
Anybody know what to do ?

I'm having the same issue and the log out and back in trick is not working for me.
I've just installed and when I try and launch the application, i see the splash screen for a split second and then the application crashes.
It is happening on both of my Retina MacBook Pros.
One is: Late 2013 Retina 15" MBP - 2.6 i7 - 16GB RAM - 1TB SSD - NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2GB
The other is Early 2013 Retina 15" MBP - 2.7 i7 - 16GB RAM - 256 SSD - NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1GB
Same behavior on both.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled. I've trashed pref files. Not sure what else to do.

Monitor the system's temperature readings, open it up.
Your RAM will have a layer of dust on it, they attract dust, run very very hot.
Boost the fan speed.
Keep the case where it gets cool air and vented but no direct sun.
Pull the video card. The X1900 was a huge dust magnet and would clog and kill itself if you don't pull it out and get the dust out.
List the general hardware, too, from System Profiler but exclude the serial no.

   I need to set some values in table control for the fields where i clicked the cursor. Actually i am using the below code but its not working...

         lo_nd_zdcapsc->set_attribute(

For example I placed the cursor in 3 row at the plant column in my table control. So only 3 row plant value has to be set.
Can anybody tell me how to read the index when a cursor is placed at a particular row.

Lightroom cc wont open

Lightroom won't open I did as above mentioned on discussion. I sign out from photoshop cc from help and I sign in from creative cloud app and I click Lightroom cc. A window pop up says that we need to upgrade catelog . I click on upgrade ,another window comes out with lightroom ad says Adobe lightroom has stop working,

sign out from your cc desktop app, then sign back in - CC applications close immediately after launch

Now impossible to insert the cursor by clicking in one paragraph. I am able to 'find' the cursor by going to another paragraph, then using the arrows to position the cursor in this rogue paragraph.

I use Pages version 4.0.5.
My software is all up to date, 10.6.8 version of OS.
The particular document with the problem is 255 pages and currently at 125,000+ words. One area of a paragraph seems to be at fault and clicking within it has no effect. No cursor appears, no editing is possible and no other input is possible for that part of document.
I can work round this by going to another paragraph, clicking there when the cursor appears, then using the arrows to get the cursor in to position in this 'rogue' paragraph.
I am fairly new to Mac, only having bought this machine at the end of last year but have used it everyday since then. I did have problems with an image editing program supplied with a new Pentax camera but I have stopped using that program after taking the laptop to Apple tech in Sheffield UK who said the laptop was OK but the program was VERY slow and they could see when checking forums that this program was causing problems for other Mac users.
That was about three months ago, so the laptop was deemed to have a clean bill of health then.
I am curious and disappointed more than anything, as I can work around the problem at the moment.
What might be going wrong, how can I correct it, if at all, and should I be worried that there might be a more significant problem developing?
