Lightroom not opening... suddenly

When I go to open my Lightroom that I have opened hundreds of times before I get this error code. This application is unable to start. 0xc000007b
Any help on this would be appreciated.

Photoshop crashing, Lightroom not opening, help to fix please?

I paid for and downloaded Creative cloud last week, and have installed Photoshop, Lightroom and Bridge. When I went to use these programs I found that Bridge works, Lightroom won't even open, and Photoshop tends to crash after 3-5seconds upon opening. There is no crash report, or any other sort of explanation, and I tried logging off of creative cloud and back on again as the solution options say to do, however this hasn't had any affect on either Lightroom or Photoshop.
Oddly enough, the Camera Raw editor will work, but when I try to open the photo into photoshop, Photoshop again closes, this time asking if I want to save changes to my image. Selecting yes allows me to save the image and then closes, selecting no closes everything.
It's very frustrating.
My computer is an HP Pavillion, I think it's a notebook, but not sure.
I'm running Windows 7 with the following processor: Intel Core i3-2310M CPU 2.10GHz
4gb RAM and a 64bit operating system.
Can someone please help me sort this out? I'd really like to be able to use what I paid for

After having contacted Adobe by phone (very professionals) i tried what
they told me to do and everything is fine now.
First i was told to run windows in "minimal" mode", that means without any
service except the microsoft ones by using msconfig.
Then install : "AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool"from Adobe; in the dos
windows chose "all", that will delete all previous install of adobe
products.
After that, you'll have to delete every adobe folder you find in this
places :
C:\Programmes\Adobe\
C:\Program Files\Adobe\
C:\Program Files (X86)\Adobe\
C:\Programmes\Common Files\Adobe\
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\
C:\Program Files (X86)\Common Files\Adobe\

My apps on he iPad will not open suddenly. It seems to be all apps and powering off and on does not fix the problem

The apps on my iPad are nt working. What do I do?

If it truly is ALL apps (including the preinstalled apps) that will not open, try a reset and see if that helps.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
If only the third party apps will not work, then Meg's advice should work.

New lightroom not opening on mac

Trying to open new lightroom CC on my mac and it shows the image and then crashes straight away. I've not taken off the old lightroom. What should I do?

Try signing out of the CC desktop app, then sign back in again.

Lightroom not opening

When I try to open Lightroom pop up says Beta Version has expired. Program will quit now.
Am using LR 2.6 for well over a year.
Please advise.

Lightroom not opening completely

Okay, so this morning I went to edit images in a catalog (150-200 images) Lightroom starts to open like always. The splash screen comes up and displays all of the "credits" like it would while it opens the last catalog, and that is it. The splash banner never goes away. I have down a restart and shut down (Windows Vista 64 bit) Anyone know what is going on here?

Try a fresh catalog to see if that's the problem. Hold Ctrl while starting Lightroom and it will prompt you for a new catalog.
If that doesn't help, try removing the prefs file. Check this to find out how.

Try resetting your Photoshop preferences. As soon as you launch Photoshop press and hold Shift+Alt+ctrl. Photoshop should prompt do you want your Preferences deleted? Reply yes... see if Photoshop then starts...

My videos suddenly will not open or play. They've worked properly until this afternoon. I deleted a video while it was still playing and have been unable to view any of them since. Still images are fine.
What can I do?

Do this:
- Plug in you ipod in you latop/Computer like usual and then hold the power btton and the home button at the same to and after you ipod should connect but once you connect restore it right away.
_ if that didn't work. Try going to the closes apple store in your location and tell them the problem your having with you ipad.

I am trying to import developed images from LightRoom 5 Photoshop 6 for further editing. I am receiving this message and the images will not open.....'Could not open scratch file because the file is locked, or you do not have necessary access permissions or another program is using the file. Use the 'Properties' command in the Windows Explorer to unlock the file. How do I fix this? I would greatly appreciate it if you would respond with terms and procedures that a computer ignorant user, such as me, will understand. Thanks.

Do you mean, you have been creating a Photo Book in iPhoto? Or an iBook in iBook Author?
If you are asking about a photo book in iPhoto, what was the last you did in iPhoto, before the crash happened? Did you add a page with a map?
Then you may have a problem with a bug, where adding a route to a map may render the book unreadable. In that case the best option is to restore the iPhoto library from the last backup you made, before you added the map to the book.
It is not possible to open the book and to delete the unreadable page. You can only delete the book and start over, if this bug is the reason for the crashes. See for example this link: Getting rid of problem photo book

Lightroom does not open photoshop using "Edit in adobe photoshop CC-" command.

I updated lightroom and photoshop using the CC desktop. (LR V5.3 x64, PS V14.6.2 x64) This broke the “Edit in adobe photoshop CC…” command.
Based on advice from this forum, I unistalled both programs completely and reinstalled them. The
“Edit in adobe photoshop CC…” command is still broken.
Is there a way to fix this? I use this feature frequently.

What’s broken? -- The “Edit in adobe photoshop CC…” command does not open photoshop and the file as it did before the upgrade.
Is the "edit in function" not available? -- It is visible in the edit it menu.
Was it working before? Yes.
What happens if you click? - Nothing.
Do you get an error message? - No.
