Limit Scs in srm 7.0

Hello Experts,
WE recently upgraded from srm 5.0 to 7.0 classic scenario.
in Srm 7.0 BBPSc01 is obsolete transaction so when i click on create limit item system is giivng dump.
can any body suggest how can we create limit Shopping carts in SRM 7.0
Thanks and appreciate your help.
Geetha

Hi Geetha,
shopping cart with limit item is not available in shopping cart wizard (available in employee self services).
If you want to create a shopping cart with limit item, you have to use professional shopping cart form. This professional form is available only if the role 'operational purchaser' is assigned to you.
You have to use the link 'create shopping cart' available in 'operational purchasing' work center.
Thanks and regards,
Ranjan

    Hi NIkhil,
Sorry I might be asking very stupid questions but I in create documents -> Shopping cart I do see default settings note for supplier etc. but it also gives me a lot of item lines where some data is filled lik product category etc. I don't also don't see the catalog links which I do see in Shop in 4 steps.

    Thanks as ever!

  • Changes to Limit Orders in SRM do not replicate to ECC

    Hello Gurus,
I am using SRM 7.02 Extended Classic with ECC 6.0.  We are having issues when making changes to a Limit Purchase Order.  Once the change is made and Ordered, the information does not update the ECC PO.
An additional output must be generated to update the backend system.
I have found some information on SRM 5 but not for 7.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Best regards,
    Mary

    Hi,
I thyink the replication to backend happens by RFC FM. what you can do is take the GUID of PO and run BBP_PD_PO_TRANSFER_EXEC FM. before doing this put a BP in FM B46B_DPO_TRANSFER at code where FM  BBP_PO_INBOUND is called. Here you will come to know what data exactly is getting passed to ECC.
    thanks,

  • DELETE LIMIT CONFIRMATION IN SRM

    Hi Experts,
I have a urgent question regarding GR in SRM. We are using SRM5.0 in classic scenario.
I was creating a limit shopping cart, with follow up actions confirmation and invoice.
Afterwards I confirmed the GR for the limit position. Now I want to delete this limit confirmation again. For normal GR it is working fine, but for the limit confirmation the "Delete-Button" is inactive. Is this standard or did we forget some settings?
    Thanks in advance,
    Martina

    Hi Martina,
In case of Limit Item when you select Confirmation and Invoice SRM creates backend PO with item catagory D (Service) and when you do confirmation in SRM for such item system creates Service Entry Sheet> Auto Acceptance of SES>Post auto GR.
When you go to process GR, Delete button is disabled. Check which Service Pack you are on?
Before Service Pack SAPKIBKT07 this button was enabled but it use to do nothing after clicking on it. With SAP Note Number 985179 (Part of Support Pack 07) this Delete Button was disabled.
If you are on SP 07 and does not have SP11 then implement SAP Note Number <b>1080634 .</b> This note enables the Delete button in transaction Process Confirmation for such items. <b>There should not be any release strategy for service entry sheet in backend.</b> There is one more note number 1019832. You need to apply this too to avoid another error.
This should resolve the issue. Pl. award full points if helpful.
    Thanks

  • Creating Limit item throgh Catalog in SRM 7.0

    Hi,
We have a scenario to create " Limit items"  in SRM 7.0 using Catalog. Can we create "limit shopping carts" in srm using catalogs?  is it standard or required any customization?
Even though, we are having order type as an identification parameter, still when we add a limit item through Catalog link, it treats it as a catalog order. Please help, if there is any way to integrate this.
    Thanks

    Hi,
As far as I know this is not possible, maybe someone can correct me though

  • SRM: Item category B/D for limit PO

    Hello Team,
Want to pose a question ? When created a Limit PO into SRM (item category Limit), I found that the back-end PO replica is been created with item category D.
    Sounds starnge ?
I believe i did build the system correct with new account assignment category for UNKNOWN. Still system is picking up wrong item category and hence all calculations are going awary.
    Please advice.
    Thanks in anticipation.

    Sandeep,
In addition to what Yann said. My analysis is:
There is one more dimention to this is that the vendor master flag "GR-based invoicing" has the impact on POs item category. If this flag from vendor master don't get transferred to PO then implement the OSS notes 956083.
Now after applying this notes you see the standard functionality:
If let say, we are creating PO with "Invoice Only" flag then there are follwoing options:
    a) If the "GR based invoice" flag in vendor master is checked then the POs goes into D item category and you can enter a service sheet for them.
    b) If the "GR based invoice" flag in vendor master is NOT checked then the POs goes into B item category and you can enter invoice just after PO.
    Please assign points as applicable.

  • Limit Purchase Order Config in SRM 5.0

We need to configure the Limit PO functionality so we can add Account Assignments that are orders. At this time, we are only able to use Cost Centers on our limit Purchase Orders.
Please direct me to the SPRO location where I can change the config for Limit PO in SRM 5.0.
In addition, we have ECC 6.0.
    Thanks
    Nancy

    Hi.
You should be able to select all acc.***. categories specified in config that are active.
    SRM>SRM-server>CrossApplBasicSettings-->AccountAssignment
However, the possible entries are also limited by the account assignment categories specified in PPOMA_BBP for the user/org!

  • SC (SRM) = PO (BE) with limit item (Itm.Cat = B)

    Dear all,
in SRM I create a SC with two items, the first item is quit normal (material, cost center assignment, etc). The second item is a copy of the first one, unit of measure is LE. Now when this SC is transfered into the BE I want the PO to contain a limit item ( item category = B). The customer is using the classic scenario and upgraded from SRM4.0 to SRM7.0.
What are the important flags/tables etc. in BADI BBP_CREATE_PO_BACK, method FILL_PO_INTERFACE.
Currently I'm filling the following parameters:
    PO_SRV_ACCOUNT,
    PO_LIMITS
    zusätzliche Kontierungsinformationen für Serviceposition
          clear ls_po_srv_account.
          ls_po_srv_account-pckg_no    = ls_po_items-pckg_no.
          ls_po_srv_account-percentage = '100'.
          ls_po_srv_account-serial_no  = '01'.
          append ls_po_srv_account to po_srv_account.
    PO Limits
          ls_po_limits-limit     = ls_po_items-net_price.
          ls_po_limits-exp_value = ls_po_items-net_price.
          APPEND ls_po_limits TO po_limits.
The PO will be created in the backend with the two items, but the item category of them is blank (= normal item).
Does anyone of you have an idea what is missing?
    Kind regards,
    Thomas

    Hello Laurent,
I don't know. I think this is something from former times when they had been running on SRM4.0 and they simply took over.
The UoM is LE and in the BE there should be an appropriate line item in the PO with category B (= Limit).
How do I define limit items in SRM?
    Kind regards,
    Thomas

  • Account Assignment category in Limit order confirmations in SRM 4.0

    Hello
We are using SRM 4.0 in extended classic scenario.
When entering the confirmations for limit orders in SRM, users add the limit/ service items.
After SP14 recently, the " account assignment category" is not set in the added lines , same as the
    PO .
Rather the account assignment category is the first one from the available list.
Any suggestions / notes for this issue?
    Regards
    Kedar

    Hi,
    1. In customising (SPRO) in R/3 you need to create the corrpesponding account assignment category with the relevant fields specified.
    2. In customising (SPRO) in SRM you need to create the new account assignment category and specify it as active plus the backend system reference. You can then assign the cost assignment types that are applicable and those that are mandatory.
I haven't got access to a system at the minute so can't give you the menu paths in customising but for R/3 it is under Materials Management > Purchasing and then look for Account Assignment. For SRM it is in Cross Application Components and then look for Account Assignment.

  • Limit PO created in SRM changes to Service PO in ECC

    Hi,
I've created a limit PO in SRM, but when I viewed it the item category was 'D' (Service) instead of 'B' (Limit).
    Can anyone advise?

Did you ever get this resolved. We are trying to use the Create PO option in SRM to and the the SC and we have the same issue.

  • Posting period issue while deleting a confirmation posted for a limit PO

    Hi ..
I am facing an issue whiel deleting a confirmation posted for a limit PO.
Confirmation was posted for a limit PO in SRM and it created a service entry sheet in SAP. If I deleted that confirmation in the same posting period, then it is getting deleted. No issue here.
But if I deleted that confirmation in the next posting period then the reversal document is going to error in process. RZ20 is showing the error "Positng only possible in periods 2012/2 and 2012/3".
Posting date of reversal document is current date only and the backend posting period is 2012/3, but still it is failing with this posting period error.
If I tried to delete a confirmation posted for a normal PO then I could able to delete it even in next posting period by just changing the posting date.
Why this posting occurs while deleting the limit confirmation, even through the posting date is falls within the backenn posting periiod? Is it like, SAP system is trying to delete the service entry sheet in original posting period? Kindly help.
    I am in SRM 5.0 (server 5.5) SP12.
    Thanks,
    Arun

    OK.
Well, if the variable is not used in any interval selection, then I would say "something happened to it".
I would make a copy of the query and run it to check if I get the same problem with period 12.
-> If not, something is wrong in the original query (you can proceed as below, if changes to original are permitted).
If so, then try removing the variable completely from the query and hardcode restriction to 12.
-> If problem still persists, I would have to do some thinking.
If problem is gone, then add the variable again. Check.
-> If problem is back, then the variable "is sick". Only quick thing to do, is to build an identical variable and use that one.
If problem also happens with the new variable, then it's time to share this experience with someone else and consider raising an OSS.
    Good luck!
    Jacob
P.S: what fisc year variant are you using?

  • Limit PO(Item category D instead of B)

    Hi All,
I have created Limit PO in SRM in Development server and in Backend R/3 it is showning Item category D instead of B. I have deactivated all Gr based checks in Manage Business Partners and in Backend Vendors. Do anyone have any Idea why it is showing item category as D instead of B.
    Best Regards
    Lovkesh

    Hi All,
We are working in Quality Server on Limit PO.
Case-1 : I created limit PO directly and it is picking up Item category B in the R/3 Backend.
Case-2: I created Shopping Cart with Limit Item and when PO is created, it is picking up Item Category as D in R/3 Backend.
Do anyone knows why the incorrect item category picked up in R/3 Backend when we Created Limit PO with respect to Shopping cart.
The Case1 and Case 2 working fine in our Development server. I removed all GR based ticks and Gr Config expected Ticks in Manager Busines Partners.

  • Limit Item template

    Hello,
I have an issue regarding limit items in SRM. By default, I have the following settings :
    - "Account Assignment" = "Unknow"
    - "Follow-Up Actions" = "Invoice Only"
I would like to change these default values to :
    - "Account Assignment" = "Know"
    - "Follow-Up Actions" = "Confirmation and Invoice"
And if possible hide them in the template. Do you know how I can proceed?
    Thanks for your help.

  • Limit PO - Confirmation with Time and Material

    To All:
We are in SRM 7.0 - Classic Scenario and ECC 6.0 EHP4.
We implemented the use of Limit PO in SRM to enable us to create a PO for Services that will give us the Value Limit and Expected Value functionality. In our scope the Limit PO can be confirmed in SRM for Time Entries and Material(s). Unfortunately we can only enter time and if we add material by clicking Add Item dropdown and choose As Free Description. We are getting an error message Inconsistent Parameter During Method Call after we enter the item type as material and the of measure as ea.
We did not implement SUS and if we do it in ECC through ML81N transaction, we can create Service Entry Sheet with time and materials.
Any direction on how to resolve this issue is appreciated.
    Thank you all very much.
    Mike

    Hi
to understand SAP design funtionality . not to solve your issue
Note 502176 - Confirmation for mixed Backend goods/service purchase order
    Symptom
    1. When you enter a goods/services confirmation, the system displays the same purchase order several times in the search result.
    2. When you expand the service purchase order item in the search, the system displays the material items.
    3. When you create a confirmation for the "material portion" of the purchase order, the system proposes the services of the first service purchase order item.
    Other terms
    eCommerce, Enterprise Buyer professional, EBP, BBP, B2B, BBPCF01, BBPCF02, BBPCF03, BBP_CF, SAPLBBP_CF, Backend, service
    Reason and Prerequisites
You enter the confirmation for an (R/3)-Backend purchase order which contains both material items and service items.
    Solution
Ad 1:The display in the search result is correct!
An entry is generated in the search result for EVERY service item. In addition, ONE other entry is generated for the total of all material items.
Background:You cannot post any mixed goods and service confirmations in the R/3 system.
Every Backend service purchase order item can include one or several service items as well as a limit, however, which are NOT broken down in the search result.Ad 2 and ad 3:Implement the attached program corrections.

  • Unable to close LIMIT TYPE PO's

    Hi all,
    SRM 5.0 ECS
For a limit PO,can we change the A/c assignment data if there are nofollow on docs(No GR and INvoice) created??
Also we have a limit type PO,which is now error in process. We are trying to close the PO by checking on the indicators"No further confirmations expected " and "No further invoices expected " ,but when we do so,the indicator for confirmation becomes unchecked, the status of PO goes "error in Process" and in backend monitor I see the foll erros:
PO 3900000100: Instance 3900000100 of object type PurchaseOrder c ould not be changed
PurchOrder 3900000100: Purchase order still contains faulty items
PO 3900000100: In case of account assignment, please enter acc. a ssignment data for item
    PurchOrder 3900000100: Transfer failed
Another observation : These PO's are created directly in SRM and not from Shopping carts in Sourcing. They have no follow on dcouments too.
Can someone tell me how do I close this PO now??

    Hi,
It seems the Limit P.O is initially created with 'Invoice Only' option which then got replicated to ECC (R/3) system with Item Category 'B' which is a Limit in ECC.
And then later the Limit P.O in SRM is changed to add 'Confirmation' and 'Confirmation based Invoice veridfication' check boxes.
But while replicating only GR based Invoice gets replicated to ECC.
This is because when a Limit order in SRM is created with both Confirmation and Invoice required options it gets replicated to ECC (R/3) with Item Category D which is a service.
There is a OSS note available to resolve this bug. Please check for the OSS note as i do not remeber the OSS note number.
As far as closing this P.O is concerned, please delete this P.O in SRM as there are no follow on documents and in case the deletion status of this P.O does not get replicated to backend ECC (R/3) and the P.O is still active in backend then use Function Module BBP_PO_DELETE to delete this P.O in ECC as well.
Hope this helps you to get little more understanding on this issue.
Let us know in case of any further clarifications.
    Regards,
    Teja
