Link for bank details not appearing
Hi Experts,
I am configuring ESS 6.0, EP7.0, but i am facing strange problem.
In ESS if I attach a ESS user to any indian employee then i am not able to see link for bank details whereas if i attach the same user to US employee then link appears.
Could anybody help me in this case.

Bank Details is Country Specific,Check in Home Page Framework whether bank service is assigned for India.

Infotype for Bank details not highlighted even though user has access
Even though a user has Bank details maintain role with P_PERNR object's authorisation field as R and W, in his PA20 - Personnel data tab - In infotype text- for Bank details there is no tick / correct mark. Doesnt the tick mark depend on all the authorisations that a user has or can perform? Please help me to understand it clearly
Thanks for the input, I just want to clarify one more point that the user i am reffering to is an old user and his details such as bank information should have been maintained. But in this case the user / HR has not maintained it and once it is maintained it will show as tick mark is it ?

Bank details not visible in R3 after syndicating from MDM
I have used standard map debmdm06 to syndicate Customer records from MDM(SP5) to R3.The IDoc seems to get posted,but the bank details were not appearing in R3.
Can anybody help me out in this issue.Hi,
This could happen due to multiple reasons. Would suggest to check folllowing:
1. Check the xml file that is getting generated after syndication. You can take it from Outbound/Archive folder. Check if the bank details are appearing in the xml file.
2. If yes, that means MDM is syndicating data properly. If no check syndication map.
3. If yes for pt 2, Check in coming Idoc from we02. Does it have the bank details? If not, then if you have used XI, the field mapping would be inncorrect.
I guess, the issue would be in xml getting generated.

BT asking for bank details over the phone
On Friday evening I received a call from someone saying they were from Bt.
The caller said my bill hadnt been paid and if I didnt pay it now my service would be suspended, (I was moved from quarterly billing to monthly and my direct debit had been cancelled an was now whole bill payment monthly).
When I asked where the caller was from he said the Philipines, alarm bells started ringing. I asked to speak to someone in the UK and was told I could not be transferred, I then asked for someone in the Uk to call me, again I was told it wasnt possible as they had no contact with the UK.
A call from someone asking for bank details immediately makes me suspicious, (theres lots of scams out there).
Why is it not possible to speak to someone in th UK?

EDI-IDOC: want to generate Reference Specifications for Bank Details field
Hi Guru,
We are running to the situation that we use EDI with China vendor (using China bank account). The bank account for China has greater than 18 characters which is the maximum limit for bank account field. Based on note 96624, we are suggested to maintain the exceeding amount into the "Reference Specifications for Bank Details" field. However, when I run the payment on F110, IDOC do not generate the reference field.
How can the bank reference field be included in the IDOC?

You use use EDI_DC-SNDSAD field, currently this field is used no where.
If you not sure where to see double control record and click address info tab
you can use either field receiver or sender.
For testing use WE19 transaction and pass your paymethod to following field
and then inform to EDI Mapper that your sending paymethod in this field.
For them this field is very easy to grab.

That means you input your billing information. And the security code is the three digit code ont he back of your credit card.

Did you use iTunes to sync those photos onto your device? If so then the only way to get them off is to use iTunes to sync them off.
When you sync them on you choose a folder and say 'put all the photos in here on my iPad', so to take them off you need to deselect that folder or remove photos from that folder and sync to take them off. -

You can get the Documentation on every module at the following path :

Just goto the path and search for the Banking Module
You will need S-User ID and Password to access the same.
You can refer to the Online Help (F1) for the field description and functionality.

I have a requirement in which while recieving the payment from FPCJ of type postal order i am not able to enter the bank details.
which are available for Cheque payments.
In our system the fields to determine the bank account and bank details fields are not showing in FPCJ for PO type payments.

I don't think there is a configuration to make the fields available for postal order in FPCJ. It needs to be customized.

Treasury deals without bank details not updated in CM report
Hi all,
when creating a deal in Transaction Manager via trans. code FTR_CREATE without Bank details the respective cash flows data are not transferred to Cash Management report FF70 due to some reason. please note, that planning level Bank unknown (Derived from Table T036V ) is specified per every financial instrument in question in Customizing ( TRM -> Transaction manager -> General settings -> Link to Cash Management -> Assign Planning Levels ).
In this case I would expect an entry to appear in the Cash Management report FF70, in a respective Grouping and on earlier mentioned Planning Level Bank unknown on the respective payment dates. However I cannot find those entries there.
On the other hand update of CM report FF70 works fine when bank details are specified in the tab Payment details on a deal level.
appreciate your suggestions/ solutions for this issue.

Yes, I believe so. As per my understanding, all transactions can be shown either under a bank or a customer in a CM report. (Keeping aside Vendors as we are not considering them at the moment).
In your case, since you don't specify the bank details, the transaction is bound to appear under Customer.
Until the transaction is posted, it will appear in the Customer row with planning level which you have maintained for Bank Unknown case. And after posting, it will move to planning group (thus level) which you have maintained in the customer master.
The above explaination is solely based on my experience of testing various scenarios. You may try it in your development box before confirming.

Details not appearing in the dropdown list in the filter window
Dear All,
I have come accross a unique problem. I have made a user defined query. Now there is an item code column. I want to filter the item codes in the generated query. But all the items are not appearing in the filter window> item field> dropdown. My query output shows all the items but the filter does not!!!
I have 10,000 items where the codes are ranged from A to X with various serials. When I run the query the report shows all the items which are within the query conditions. But when I open the filter window then in the dropdown for the item code only codes upto "G" appear.
How can this be resolved?? otherwise I am not able to filter my selections.

The query is to generate a report to find out the total units of items sold through delivery. Actually, there is no problem with the query. The query shows absolute reports. The problem is among these 10,000 items which come in the report, if I need to see some specific item then I can use the filter option. But in the filter option the items codes upto "G" are only appearing inspite of the fact that the query report list has all the items from A-J.
I hope I am clear. This is not the problem with this query only. In all the queries where the item details are appearing, the system doesnot give me the flexibility to filter by all the items rather only upto a range. Why is it so?
Still if you need to see the query then please let me know. I will put in the query statement.

Links for navigation tree not rendering as expected
I have a tree menu that links to various applications. It provides single sign-on to different applications for intranet users, passing encrypted authentication details between apps. The tree table is defined as:

The location column provides the link for the tree. Here is an example of one record:

This works without a problem in the full version of APEX/10gR2/Oracle App Server. Mouse over a link and you see the &APP_USERRNAME. replaced with the encrypted version of the username. Same with the rest.
Export/import into XE though and the link doesn't pick up the &MENU_USERNAME., &MENU_PASSWORD., or &APP_SESSION. when rendering the menu. A mouse-over of the link shows those values are not being replaced in the string, but if I pull the session values using the Edit links, all are populated just fine.
If I copy that same string (the one that is used for the link in the tree), and paste it directly to an html region as an href, the variables are replaced as expected and the link works just fine.
So, a link pulled from the table doesn't have those values replaced, where the same string in an html region as an href does just fine. The table method does work in the full version, but doesn't in two installs of XE (same page definition - export/import).
Any ideas?

RonDid you change anything when moving the application to XE, or did you just a plain export/import? Plain export/import except the choice of theme- was using 16 in 2.2 and changed to an XE supplied theme.
You exported the application using UTF8 and imported it using UTF8 as well, right? Yep

I just modified the query to do the replacement instead and that's working just fine in XE. New query:
