List all active change documents

Is there a way to list all ACTIVE change documents? In other words - I only want ot know which change documents are being used in the system...

Thanks Anji - Seems there is no place to show if a change document is active, but I was being silly since if a change document is not active or being used, it will not appear in CDHDR / CDPOS!
A useful pool table is TCDOB - It lists all change documents with properties like which tables they monitor etc...

The creation of change documents for the classification has to be
activated for every class type. Go please to the customization of the
appropriate class type:
Cross-Application Components
-> Classification System
-> Classes
-> Maintain Object Types and Class Types
You will find there a flag to activate change documents.
As a precondition you'll have to activate the flag 'Multiple objects
allowed' before. If you already have classified objects
for this class type these classifications has to be converted before.
For the conversion of already existing classifications use please report
RCCLUKA2. It processes the conversion and sets the flag 'Multiple
objects allowed'. Regard please the documentation of report RCCLUKA2.
Thereafter you'll be able to activate change documents for this class
type.

Hi,
I want to enumrate all active login sessions for session IDs. I found some api SessionGetInfo which gives current user
session ID. and getutmpxent which gives process id of (as i understand id of process creating session) all sessions. I
want to map pid to session id. or is there any other way to list the session IDs of all logged in users.

You can get the informamtion through one more option also. In case of function module you need to execute the module again and again for each user or may be need to write a report. I would like to suggest you an alternative. That is making use of queries.
1. Go to transaction SQVI.
2. In the input field Quick View give the any name for query for example Z_EMAIL_ADD.
3. Choose create option. In the resulting pop up give description in Title field. In data source choose TABLE JOIN. Select Basis mode.
4. In the next screen choose INSERT TABLE pushbutton and in the pop up give USR21. Then again choose INSERT TABLE pushbutton and this time give ADR6.
5. Now go back using back arrow or F3.
6. Now in the new screen you will be under the tab strip List fld select.. From that entries under available filed (on right hand side) select User name in user master record and the first entry for Internet mail (SMTP) address. Now using single arrow pushbutton poitning towards left move these fields to tabstrip List fld select.
7. Now go to tabstrip selection filed. As done in step 6 move User name in user master record under it.
8. Save the changes and go back. A pop up will come asking you to save quick view Z_EMAIL_ADD. Choose yes.
9. Now execute the query. In the input field you can give one user or multiple users at a given time.

Activating change documents for standard tables

Hi all,
Can someone please tell me how I can activate change documents for a standard table.
I created a change document object in SCDO and included the standard table I am working with. This table does not have "LOG DATA CHANGES' enabled in its technical settings. I checked the data element of the field I am interested in and it has "Change Document" enabled.
Is there any way to activate change documents for a std table without writing code to create change documents?

How can I list all local ports where a local server or services is listening?
The listing should contain the path and program name of the listening server/service.
So I need something like:
port=22 /lib/svc/method/sshd
port=25 /bin/emailprgm
port=1049 /ust/local/bin/myserver
How can I do this?

lsof (compile, sunfreeware.com, blaswave)
it wont show full path i think (man lsof for more) however it gives pids/ports/exe name, so you could take that and script it or do something with the output.

You can use this commands to see who is logged in the fabric and see the zone configuration.
show flogi database
show fcns database
show zone active
show run zone
The recommendation is to use the wwpns to configure the zone. You can also create device-alias to simplified the process.

Error while TOC created when change document approvle for UNIT testing

Hi All,
During change document approval for unit testing, we are getting error, when I checked in detail, it is giving error for transport of copies error as below
it seems to be getting locked with original transport,
also I can't see change in transport of copies
Does someone has any idea?

Hello Dinesh,
Perhaps the tasks of the Transport Request were not released.
Try to release the tasks only (from your DEV system), then choose action "Pass normal change to test". This will generate a ToC to be transported into your QAS.
Then from the Task List, you can schedule the background job to import the ToC into QAS system.

Is there a way to hide buddy icon/picture in messages? [In the left section that lists all chats]

Is there a way to hide buddy avatars/pictures from Messages? I don't mean in a the chat window, but in the left section that lists all active conversations. I don't really use pictures with contacts, so all I see are gray faces.

The answer is No.
Whilst the App can also use Buddy list (See Window Menu) for accounts which use AIM, Jabber or Yahoo an important part of these is the Buddy Pic.
By default Messages in the iMessages account will send the My Card pic from the Contacts app for yourself.
(if you have Buddy Lists and change the pic for them, then it will send that pic)
Also if you drag the side bar in the Chat (main Messages window) to it's smallest setting (move the divider to the left) you are left with just the Sender's pic (or lack of it) in square spot that has no version of the last iMessages sent.

Change Documents history

We are looking for a change document history report which can list all the accounting documents which have been changed for a period of time. I know we can retrieve the change documents for both parked and posted documents from the change history from the document itself.
I checked in the system but couldn't find any report whch can give me all the changes for all documents in one place. Does anyone have any idea on this issue.

Displaying change documents for custom fields in FPP2

I have added a new subscreen to the Business partner via BUPT. The new fields are on a custom table. I have created change documents for the new fields and all that is working fine - details are being written to CDHDR/CDPOS as expected. In the standard FPP2 transaction the user can select Extras / Partner changes which will display a list of the change documents. This does not include my custom fields.
Does anyone know if it is possible to include my custom field changes in this list? I have searched several forums but cannot find any reference to this.

Activate Change Document - Product Master Data

Hi Experts,
I am looking for comments on the following things. I hope the experts could share experience related to real time projects that you have worked / are working.
I am considering the option to activate Change Documents for Product Master data, Product Location Master data and Transportation Lanes.
Question I have (Please answer on any or all of the questions, if you can):
1. Have you activated change documents on Product Master data? If so, how many products you have in total (number of entries in /SAPAPO/MATKEY)?
Have you turned it off later due to performance reasons? Or Storage/hardware constraints?
2. Do you have the change documents active on Location product master data? How many location products do you have in total (no. of entries in /SAPAPO/MATLOC)?
3. Transportation lanes - Change documents activated? Does it also say if the external procurement relationship is activated or deactivated and the user who did this and date? How many transportation lanes do you have in total? Is there a possibility to activate the change documents on transportation lanes only for those which are procured from external vendors (not for Stock transfers... only for those arrives in from Suppliers)?

SOLAR_MIGRATION of multiple projects & Change documents

Hi,
We are in the process off migrating solution manager projects to a new server using solar_migration. The idea is to migrate project by project since the projects are rather large.
Now I get the idea that the generated transport contains all the change documents, also those of of other projects not yet migrated, even though I have only selected one project for the migration. The reason I get this idea is that the size of the transport files of empty migration test projects runs into several GB, so they must contains documents that do not belong to it.
This could be a problem if for instance in 2 weeks time we migrate the second project which also contains all the change documents. This second migration could then overwrite the possibly updated documents in the project we migrated first.
Is the assumption correct that you cannot limit the migration of a project to only contain the change documents of that specific project?
If it is could we for the second project select the change documents based on a date range? And will the documents of the second project that have a change stamp before this date range authomatically become visible once the second project is migrated?

Hi Tom,
there is no risk to overwrite any documents, documents are identified by a unique ID, and each change generates a new version.
If there are objects (=documents) in the transpotr request, that should not be in there (you should verify from the transport objects), you should open a call to SAP asking for clarification there.
