List Of Values not getting displayed in BI launchpad

Hello All,
When i am running the report in BI launchpad, List of values are not displaying . throwing below error.
Detail Error:
com.businessobjects.sdk.core.server.CommunicationException$UnexpectedServerException: while trying to invoke the method com.businessobjects.mds.olap.protocol.bics.BICSClient.getCube() of a null object loaded from field com.sap.sl.proxyconsumption.services.olapaccessservice.BICSDiscoverServer.bicsClient of an object loaded from local variable 'this'
@The same report is working fine in WEBI Rich client.
I am using 4.1 SPO3 Patch 2
Please Help on this.

We are having problem looking like that (After report had been made if I click Refresh button and wait for Values for prompts - the same error message appears).
My user is in admin group and if log as Administrator - nothing changes.
Could you give me advice?

I created a product dimension with 4 levels .For members which doesnt have parents,data is not getting displayed in JavaClient.
The values for members which doesnt have parents are getting displayed in the view created for the measures which are dimensioned by Product .I mapped the same view in the CWM2 work space ,but value is not getting displayed for members which doesnt have parents ,but values are getting displayed for members which have parents for measures.
Is it a bug , we were able to do it in Express ..
Can anybody help us in doing this.??

Hi,
This assumes that the members which do not have parents are mapped to the top level in the hierarchy. If they are at a level below the top level then they are not part of the hierarchy and therefore would not be displayed. So this sounds like expected behaviour.

Hierarchy value not getting displayed in WAD.

Dear all,
We have a Hier Variable for Business Area, it is there in the Filter area of the query.
when we execute the report in WAD through Portal , we are getting the Values restricted with Hier variable. But in the WAD report we have created filter Tab , which will display the values entered in the Variable screen wil display. But for this Business Area Hier Variable , we are not getting this displayed. when we use the Char variable for this we are getting the values in the WAD report Filters.
we need to display the hier value entered in the variable screen to be displayed in the filter tab of WAD Report

Adobe field values not getting displayed in UWL workitem

Hi,
We filled a ISR Adobe form and submitted it and generated the corresponding notification number.
On clickng the 'display and print form', the form is gettin displayed properly.
But on checking the form at the approvers UWL, the field values are not getting properly filled.
The form is getting properly displayed at R/3 through IQS22 and also the data values are properly attached to the notification number( checked through ISR_PROCESS_EVENT ).

OAF - Values not getting displayed in Search Page

Hi all,
I have developed a search page with the search citeria mapped to the search panel. I have created VO for this attribute and selected the value from View in this VO(Viewobject). I have created the Query region and set the property of Construction mode as autocustimazationcrietria.
Now my problem is when am running this page and search through any value or simply if i pressed the Go button,no value is being displayed in the page.
I have checked the value and same view and the query is returning value in Toad.
If someone can helpout this issue,it would be great help for me.

Hi Renu ,
Since its working perfect for other query , it should also work for the query you have mentioned above .
Please make sure that you have shuttle the VO to the AM , and check the View Instance name and View attribute
for every field that are there in the query region is appropriate .
You can also run the below query with the search criteria parameter by passing it in where clause (run it from sql developer / toad ) , and check
whether you are able to get the result set in back end .

ECess Value not getting displayed in MIGO

Dear All,
When I do a GR against a PO the Ecess Value doesnt flow in MIGO. ( PO created with Non-deductible excise tax code.)
Please note the below details also.
We are using SAP 4.7 version & our tax procedure is TAXINJ.
So can anyone explain how the excise values are determined & displayed in MIGO in case of Non-Deductible excise?
Note: My BED & S&H cess values are displayed in GR but not ECess.

Values not getting displayed from first page of the report.

Values in the report is getting displayed from second page.
First page in the report only displaying the report title and column names.
Secone page onwards, data and column names are generated.
Can any one please help me, with the cause of the problem.

Dropdown value list selected value not being displayed

HCM process and form - Using HR Admin control library in Adobe form to create a new drop down list as per OSS Note Note 973170 - New library for "SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe" - HR Admin Drop Down box list.
User is able to choose values from dropdown list. But, when form is sent for approval, approving user is not seeing selected value.

Follow the below steps,
1. Place the dropdown list box in the form
2.bind the attributes to the dropdown.
3.In Object tab Property Click List Item, One Pop up Window is displayed,
   In the popup window,
                       i. Bind the dropdown list attributes to the items.
                       ii. $ symbol assigned to the Item text
                       iii.$ symbol assigned to the item value.

Values not getting displayed in the selection screen for Hierarchies?

Hi All,
Our system was upgraded from BW 3.1 to 2004s. The quality system displayes values when query result is filtered for a hierarchy infoobject but the production system does not display any values and sometimes throws an error 'The operation failed because of a server error. See system logs.' There is no changes done for hierarchies in both the systems.
Please let me know if anyone has had similar problems.

Functional module table parameters values not getting displayed in Java sys

Hi,
We are calling the Table parameter through Java code from functional
module ZCRM_ICSS_PROJ_CUST_USR is not giving any rows value .If I execute
the same functional module with passing the import parameter value User
id: MLDL010 its giving value in CRM.
I am checking Function module( Remote enabled ) in Debugging mode,
before displaying values it is raising message like
SY-MSGNR - 005
SY-MSGTY - CRM_LINK
in T100 Table
SPRSL : EN
ARBGB : CRM_LINK
MSGNR : 005
TEXT :'No Links corresponding to the specified data could be determined'
Is that related to any communication problem CRM & JAVA ICSS System ?

The message in simple English just means that "You are doing something really bad" !!! It is absolutely not the communication problem, but understanding problem.
Though you may be executing the same function using SE37 or in the webshop application through JCo, the runtime context is different and without knowing what exactly your Z rfc is doing, it is very difficult to help. To start with, the userid - that is who is running the RFC is different in both situations. In SE37, it is the logon user and in the web, depending upon whether the connection is stateless or stateful, it could be the anonymous ICSS user or the logged in user. Here again, if you have used UME, it is the user id and if you have used ALIAS user, then it is the alias user id. This is just an example. Your runtime context can be different due to many other reasons too.
So, to make this simpler - what is that you are trying to do?
BTW, try not to create multiple threads for the same issue..

Text value is not getting displayed in Query designer !!

i have created a new query in query designer using my info provider and then selected one field in default value and then trying to restrict that particular field while selecting the restriction in query designer am getting the exact text value but after generating the report instead of text value , key value is getting displayed....so how can i get text instead of key value??
please help me friends....

Hello kumar,
After another analysis I have to inform you about general concept of
"compounded characteristics".
A compounded characteristic bounds two characteristics. The technical
name is generated by both technical names of the two characteristics
combined by two underlines "__".
An individual text is only available for one single combination of both
characteristics.
Example:

Compounded characteristic "Famous family name" is a combination of
characteristic "COUNTRY" & "ETHNIC". Technical name: COUNTRY__ETHNIC
Values for Country: USA, Australia
Values for Ethnic: Asian, Latino
Possible value combinations with individual text:
USA & Asian; text: "Ling"
USA & Latino; text: "Sanchez"
Australia & Asian; text: "Chu"
Australia & Latino; text: "Garcia"
(Keep in mind the individual text only valid for the specific
combination.)
In analogy to the issue that you reported, you want to restrict this
compounded characteristic. In the window where you select the restrictedvalue (called Selector) you'll see on the left hand side all available
combinations of the characters with an individual text.
You select family name "Chu" and drag'n'drop it to the right side.
Actually you can only restrict the right compounded characteristic. In
our example you would restrict on characteristic "ETHNIC" with value
"Asian". (When you switch on technical names this comes more clear). Thetext "Chu" is displayed in the context of Selector because you selected
value combination Australia & Asian. But in the end it's just a
placeholder(!) for any combination of characteristic "ETHNIC" and value
#Asian#; in our example it could be USA & Asian "Ling" or Australia &
Asian "Chu").
By leaving the Selector the individual text is gone because now the
context is lost between the two characteristics. You have just a
restriction on characteristic "ETHNIC" with value "Asian". An individualtext can't be displayed because the compounded characteristic is not
specified for this restriction.
You're right, it is confusing when "loosing" the text of a restriction.
But accoring to the concepts of the compounded characteristics it
is a correct behavior.

Default Value is not getting displayed in SUN ONE Ldap

I have created an attribute in slapd.user_at.conf and it is associated in slapd.user_oc.conf.
The attribute default value is given through SUN ONE Console. But, In our application the default value is not getting displayed.
We need the default value to run our applicatin. Can anyone help me for this issue

I have not understood the problem....Is this regarding the conversion exit... you can use function modules:
CONVERSION_EXIT_CUNIT_OUTPUT to display the UoM in the appropriate logon language if you have data directly from SAP database.

Values are not getting displayed in screen

Hi Experts,
I have used BAPI_CHARACT_CREATE to upload characteristics(t-code: ct04),
All data are uploaded into the Master Table, while changing the same in t-code ct04 the Value and Description is not getting displayed in screen( in Table control).
NOTE: If i use BAPI_CHARACT_GETDETAIL to get the details of a character i am getting all the values which i have uploaded. (But not in the t-code ct04).
BDC and LSMW is not working for this t-code.
Please help me out.

First Cell value in the first row of the structure not getting displayed

Hi Friends,
We've got one structure at rows level, there as per our requirement i've taken around 12 "New Selections", that's ok i'm getting everthing fine, but whatever the new selection i put on the top of that structure in that, the First Cell Value for the first column not getting displayed...
I'm really wondering, this is the first time that i'm facing this kind of problem... what might be the reason & what is the solution for that...

There is no declarative way to do this as the table rows are stamped. This means there is no way to can access a value like (row+1).attributename
So there is some coding needed. Check http://lucbors.blogspot.de/2012/02/adf-11g-fancy-master-detail-or-how-to.html and http://lucbors.blogspot.de/2012/02/adf-11g-even-fancier-multi-master-multi.html which might help you to implement your case.
