List Template not visible

Hi,
I have two sites A and B.
I save a list as template in site A and then import it in site B. I can create a new app using that template.
I save another list as template in site A and then import it in site B successfully. But this one I don't see in the app lists.
Is there a limit on number of templates that can be migrated ? If not, kindly clarify.

I checked and it exists.
Is it because my list is a task list. Is there a different feature for a task list that needs activation?

Can you download it and then upload again with different name. And try to create list using the new template you uploaded.

Custom list templates not deployed

Hi everyone,
Today I came across a wierd issue while creating some lists in SP 2010 programmatically.
I created a few lists schema, list templates and list instances declaratively.
I deployed my package and everything seems to work as expected so far.
I activated my custom feature where (intentionally) I put some C# codes to create a list instance based on one of my deployed list template.
At first, i.e last week, creating this list instance programmatically worked well.
So are those I deployed.
Today, the creation failed because the list template identified by its list-template ID does not exist.
Wierd ! I checked the package, all elements, all list template, all IDs, all 14-hive files, ... everything was OK. No packaging errors found.
Each time I deploy these list templates, they don't even appear in the silverlight-based list-creation popup.
They don't even appear in the "SP Manager" tool.
All my custom lists that was instantiated by SP (using declarative list instance), are well created,
but they don't have their respective custom logo.
And obviously, all its settings (within list template's XML file) was not applied.
It's the first time I met this kind of problem.
I even remove my content database, but the problem remains unchanged.
Does anyone have any idea of what's wrong with my list templates, or even with SP ?
Any idea to fix it ?

PS : In my WSP solution, I associate one list template element to three features, so I cannot set the attribute FeatureId to the list template.

I tore my hair out enough since a week, but finally I find out why.
I fix today my list template issue by setting the feature attribute RequireResouces to false.
If not, all element inside that feature will be hidden from the UI, and so will be the feature ... even if
Hidden attribute equals to false and even if in any SP tools the feature seems to be there.

In Explorer drop dowl list is not visible for Entities, Hierarchies, Collection

I am using SQL Server 2012 MDS on Windows 8.1 Pro. The drop down list of entities, Hierarchies, and collections is not visible on explorer screen. When I hover over the Entity menu the drop down seems to appear but hiding behind the rest of the screen.
Same issue with Hierarchy and Collections menu. To get to entities list I have to click on explorer menu and then the drop downs start showing up.

Appraisal template not visible-urgent!!

Hi All,
We have implemented Appraisals (MBO) module, we have created an appraisal template for same.
The data is now being transferred to production server, hence the problem is that the Appraisal template what we created is <b>not visible in front end</b>.
Hence can some help what may be the reason for this. I have check plan version & user paramters.
What are the other areas where we can lookin for this problem??

We have created the App template. Tough we have done all settings in SPRO in prod server, when checking it in Easy Acess it is saying that <b>"Template does not existes"</b> (i.e tcode APPCREATE)
We checked in Dev & Quality, there it is running properly. We even checked all parameters required for Per devp module.
Hence could you help me regarding this??

WF Template not visible

Hi All,
Template is not visible in PFTC and SWDD when I entered template in PFTC and SWDD.
After entering wf template in field of SWDD and clicking enter template is not displayed.
Also when i enter digits of template and select wf template in PFTC template not displayed.
WF is WF00800042.

If you try to display a task or workflow in PFTC, you need to remove the prefix (for example WS).
For example in your case in PFTC select workflow template and enter 00800042. (I am not sure either if this workflow exists in any system - where did you find out that this WF should exist)?

My wish list is not visible

I ad selections to my wish list...but when I go to home and under quick links, My Wish List is not there????

The 'buy all' has, for some reason, been removed from the current version of iTunes - you can try leaving feedback for Apple and maybe it'll be added back in a future update :http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html . Until then you can only buy items individually.
In terms of the 'x' for deleting items from it, other people have posted about that and it's affecting me as well. I assume that there is a bug with the current version of iTunes and/or a problem at Apple's end which they need to fix.

Web template not visible and editable by others

I have a problem of sharing a web templated with others . In the WAD, I created a web template and saved the template. By default, it is saved in the favorite folder. However, it is not accessable or visible by another developer who needs to continue the development on this template. I have asked our SAP BW security person and she tried a few things and it didn't work. Can someone share the insights of what we should do to allow a web template created by one person to be edited by another person? Thanks in advance.

Hi,
If you provide the other person with the name of the template, he should be able to modify it. Instead of searching when opening, enter the exact name.

Attachment list is not visible

Dear all
I have connected an external server to SAP.
Created repository and created Doc types (say for ex : ZFIINV, ZMM DRW) and created entries using tcode OAC3
now i have assigned my doc type to corresponding Business Objects (BKPF for accounting doc,BUS2105 for purchase requisition ,MKPF for MM related docs)
now i have created entries for my scanned docs in table TOA01.
i can search an display these docs which are already placed there in my content server. but i can not see these documents links entries in the attachment list of corresponding Business objects entries.
for example in BO : BKPF attachment list i cant see al the link entries .
please suggest whether any BO is not published or R/3 application connection to the generic object service is not done?

Hi Sandeep,
I am not totallt getting your point but can suggest following points:
1. Check whether these object are displaying in DIR's as object links.
2. If it is there then it shoud be displayed in document data of those objects.
3. Check that documents are properly checked-in.

Document templates not visible in Complaints transaction

Dear CRM gurus,
CRM 5.0
I created an MS word document template using tcode CRM_KW_TEMPL in CRM 5.0 for the business object type BUS2000120 which is a complaint. However, after saving the template when I go into CRMD_ORDER for creating a complaints transaction type & try creating a new document based on the template, the name of the template is not shown in the window which opens up for selecting the template.
I have done the background config for setting up the document template profile, folder template & assigning these to the transaction type header. Can someone please let me know what could I be missing?

Please confirm if you see URL as http:localhost:99/_layouts/images. or http//:localhost:99/_layouts/images.
Is it same behavior on all sites or just 1 site
What do we see in Fiddler traces
Did you made any changes in DOCICON.XML
or some where else

Wish list is not visible and store searches are blank too

Upgraded to ITunes 11.2.2, the latest, using 10.6.8 OS on an Imac and first I noticed no images in my Wishlist. Just a blank screen, with the ability to sort by name ,etc tab. Now when I do a search for an artist or an album on the store, I get a blank screen also for results, i see the text for showing the options of Aps, Music, Movies, but no images of search results. Very frustrating.

List style not visible in printed documentation

Is this a bug??? I opted to use a numbered list style rather than a numbered paragraph style to label procedural steps. The advantage of a list style is that skip numbering would not work properly using the paragraph style. i.e.:
'Steps' Paragraph style with numbering associated:
First step.
          Result of first step.
Second step.            * Bullets and Numbering does not allow me to consistently "Restart numbering at 2" (and HTML this produces is faulty).
'NumberedStep' List style with numbering:
   1. First step.
           Result of first step.
   2. Second step.               * Bullets and Numbering allow me to consistently "Restart numbering at 2."
Now I see the consequences of my decision: My 'NumberedStep' style is not included in the styles dropdown. Inconvenient, but not itself the end of the world.
The real problem is this: Printed Documents are not consistent with the style defined in 'NumberedStep'.
The font is larger than it should be, and indents are all over the place:

On first review, all the styles in my source translated easily to Word, but the style for NumberedStep text was not. That text is now 'Normal'.
I've hunted high and low to solve this issue, so a direct reply is appreciated.

Firstly, your better off using liststyles than paragraph list styles, I screwed around a long time before I had to set everything to liststyles rather than paragraph ones. So dont worry about that.
The first issue, of not seeing the style - it is there, if you open the Styles tab on screen (click in a topic to get the cursor, then Format > Styles), not just the dropdown like youve shown youll see a list of all your styles, almost, it will show paragraph styles, click the drop-down and select All available styles, this will display your list styles as well!
Im not sure about the style settings, I have the same text setting applied in my list style as I use for my 'normal' text. Though I think you can select the text in a list and apply a paragraph style to it....i just tried and it worked, but to be on the safe side you might want to set the text formatting in the list style css too..
mine looks like this

    list-style: decimal;

    margin-top: 6pt;
As for printed formats not indenting lists, this is an issue. So far I have found no way around it because you cannot map a list styles in RH to a list style in Word. This has also created errors for line spacing and indents - and I found the indents are severly messed up when using list styles in snippets. Everytime I create printed documentation I have to manually fix it, a pain but it doesnt take too long....you could use macros etc to speed it all up for you.

I can open my e-mail but a message list is not visible. Concerns Firefox 4. With Crome is no problem.

I changed Firefox 3.6 to 4 and with this download become a problem. I can't see my e-mail message list, meens I can't reed may e-mails. This problem is only with Firefox 4 no older versions. Chrome shows my e-mails correctly. Must I change the browser?

OK - I fixed this myself. On a hunch I used Firefox to check my plug-ins. I deleted all the old java plug-ins and installed the latest update and hotmail now works. How people with no computer knowledge at all solve their problems I'm blowed if I know. It shouldn't be this hard...

Inspect with Task list not visible in QM view

In Material master QM view, for 01 inspection type, inspect with tast list is not visible.
Please advice how to make visible.

Sharepoint 2013 some List Templates missing in add an app

I am using sharepoint 2013. I uploaded 13 list templates in gallery but i can view only 8 templates other templates are missing when i am clicking
add an app. Whats wrong this? Thanks in advance.

According to your description, you uploaded 13 list templates in gallery,
some List Templates were not visible on add an app page.
Let us verify the following:
What kind of template you used for the Site, publishing or Team?
Did you activate the Team Collaboration Lists feature at the site?
Compare the difference between the 13 list templates you uploaded in gallery. Probably these list templates are using different site definitions.

Custom work centers are not visible in the production tenant UI after solution is deployed

Hi Experts,
We have deployed the solution into the production tenant. The solution is deployed successfully. But the custom business option(BAC) element which we have created is not part of proejct scoping.
We have created a new change project in production and added the custom business option to the project.
Under this custom business option we have fine tuning activity which is having all the custom configurable code lists.
All these configurable code list are not visible as views. these are already assigned to WCF of one of our custom BO under asssinged objects.
These configurable code lists are displaying like below.
Because of this i am not able to close this fine tuning activity and i am not able merge the change project into Main project.
Once after merging the change project into main project, I came to know the all the custom work centers will be visible. I am correct here?
Can anybody know how to resolve this issue. Please let us know..!

Hi Mani,
this issue sometimes occurs. Please create an incident as soon as possible. Sometimes the BCSets / BCViews need to be regenerated in the backend. Support can correct this. Mention that you did this using the SAP Cloud Applications Studio.
