List with link to another part of a page

i'm trying to get the same result in the above 'sample' from the developer center for our 'staff' page.
i'd like to have a list of employee that you can click on and open a bio in another area (div) of the page without reloading the whole page. i think i'm on the right track but i'm extremely new to all of this.
is their a tutorial or video or anything that can show me how they did that in dreamweaver. i've looked at the code but like i said i'm really new.

When you eneter information into iTunes Producer for uploading, the info must match what is in the internal metadata. In this case, the book is called Mississippi, but in iTunes Producer it is spelled Misssissippi. There is an extra "s". This will cause an error.

Is it possible to add a diagram, picture, or table to a SP file with link to another SP file?
I know this is possible in, say, Word. For example, I can add a diagram and check a box to include a link to the source file - so that when the diagram in the source file updates, the diagram in my document also updates.
This is also my goal in SP - instead of simply including a link to a document elsewhere in SP (or on the same site in SP), I would ideally like to display a diagram, picture, or table and include (behind the scenes if possible) to the source SP file
so that, when the diagram/table in the source SP file updates, my SP file also updates accordingly.
For example:
Instead of:
       The diagram is located in:
       link
I would ideally like:
       Diagram, picture, or table (with link associated with it) - users can click on the diagram or picture if they desire.

Can I add a text link to another place in a Pages v5 file?
My client would like to include a visible, inline Table of Contents in his ePub. Apple Pages v5 deletes the visible Table of Contents. Can I manually create a Table of Contents with clickable links to the appropriate chapters?

Pages 5's greatest claim to fame is its general inability to do anything much, aka "simplification".
So the answer is No! and because this is also Apple, You don't want to do that!
Luckily however, should you still have Pages '09 in your Applications/iWork folder, you can use that instead.

Workflow to send email with link to another list

First it should not matter that I want to link to another list. In the e-mail, I put the link of the list like this:
<a href=http://mysite/mylist/EditForm.aspx?ID=[%Current Item:ID%]>Click Here</a>
Of course, the names have changed to protect me... :-)
What I am getting is:
<a href=http://mysite/mylist/EditForm.aspx?ID=<http://mysite/mylist/EditForm.aspx?ID=9>Click Here</a>
So, instead of just the current ID number, I am getting the complete link.
How can I fix that?
Is there any way to get to a list item by the title instead of the ID?

Hi David,
In the email you do not need <a> tags. You can just use the hyperlink action to add the link to the text. See screen shot below.

How do I link text from higher in the page to something that is near the bottom of the page

1. Give the item you want to link to an html id by highlighting it and adding a unique name (no spaces or special characters) to the Id box in the Property Inspector. Make sure you don't accidentally select the overall container that holds all of the items you want to link to, setting anchor links this way will bring you to the top of the item selected.
2. Highlight the item/text you want to use as a link and put that id, preceded by the # symbol, in the Link box of the Property Inspector.
That should do it.

Making xml list with links

I was able to create a list component in Flash 8 and load the
items from an
xml file, but I can't figure out how to make each line
clickable in order to
work as a link. The code used to populate the list is:

Menu/List with link

How could i make menu of charts at right side of page, and if i click on each chart link the corresponding chart page should open, and i need to have the menu in all chart pages.

You can create a List in the shared components (i.e. of the type vertical sidebar list). Each item in the list referes to a page with a chart.
On those pages you create a List Region, and link it to the list you've created before.
You can use position 3 to place this region, becouse this places the region on the right side of the page.

Create link to another part of the form

Hi all,
I have created a dynamic form that contains two work plans. Users will fill out one or the other, but not both. I want to provide links to the beginning of each work plan. I cannot reference specific page numbers as the form is dynamic and the page count will change as the form is filled in. What is the code I need to use to do this. I assume I have to reference specific form objects, such as the tables housing the work plans, but I'm not sure what code I need to use.

Jennifer, I use a Button object. First, add a field on the page you want to go to. At the beginning of the work plan add a Button using this JavaScript on the Click Event:
xfa.host.setFocus("Page1.SubformName.TextField");
(change your subform/field names as needed). The field can be visible or hidden. When you click on the button, your cursor will jump to that spot. I use this function to jump through multiple page documents.

So cannot load websites that other programs can includes Mozillas help pages!!! my first issue was with Linked IN but now these help pages dont work either

I cannot log in to LINKED IN via firefox . however I can with IE8. why? also when I click teh Firefox wont open pages that other pbrowsers will I get a firfox cannot open the page message. I hope this is a joke!!! Hah hah

When this occurs it's usually because a proxy is set in the Network preference pane when one isn't needed or vice-versa.
Firefox uses its own proxy settings and as such doesn't rely on the settings in System Preferences.

Move a spry accordian to another part of the page

I'm relatively new to dreamweaver. I've added a spry according to my page, and right now it sits at the bottom of a photo and thumbnails for a gallery. I'm trying to move the spry according up, to the upper right hand side of the page, but it just stays centered at the bottom and I can't drag it's outline box freely around. Wny help would be greatly appreciated!

When I open my brokerage website, I see my account information normally but when I click on another part of the page, I get an error message asking me to sign in again. This does not happen in IE or Chrome.

My PC runs on WinXP.

Same here (iPhone 5S). And a friend of mine has the same problem on his iPhone 5. I just installed the newest iOS update (7.1.2) and the problem persists. Although it seems to affect several people yet I can't find anything related to this on the web. If I really want deliberately to trigger the problem I just need to delete a song from the music app and the message will pop up for sure. I am also somewhat reluctant to do a full restore because frankly I expect the same outcome as the thread starter. So hopefully Apple will fix this soon. The main reason for me to buy a $ 800+ phone is to have a device that 'just works' but apparently that's long gone since iOS 7...

is there a way to put a link in metadata or hotspot? with SAPlink? hotspot are valid only for 2d? not 3D? if i use the note it's ok, cgm ok...

uninstalled firefox ....deleted all files still remaining under mozilla firefox directory in program files ... to avoid having to reprogram all my settings, reisntall all addons as well .. I did not remove anything from mozilla firefox that is stored in either appdata or under the windows users directory (if any)
... the as suggested reinstalled the latest version of the firefox browser using the link you provided in the email ..; tested and several issues still remain present and unresolved ....
so please this is urgent or I will have to jump browsers and start using chrome .. because we work 14 hours a day 6 (sometimes 7) days a week, to get ready for the launch of our newest venture and we cannot lose that much days on browser related issues ... so please instead of putting me through week long step process .. of do this .. do that .. can you please actually look into the issue from your end .. Report with select list and link to call another report

Hi,
I am trying to do 2 reports (REPORT1 and REPORT2).
The first is a summary report (REPORT1).
This report will display sales figures for the year. Now, I need to have a select list in the result set that will have 2 options, depending on which option is chosen, I want to call REPORT2 with the select list as a parameter. How can I do this ?
Let me try to explain what I did.
I created REPORT1 on Page 100
SELECT YEAR, sum(YTD_SALES), APEX_ITEM.SELECT_LIST(1,'DEPARTMENT','Department;DEPARTMENT,Division;DIVISION') Drilldown FROM SALES_ANALYSIS WHERE YEAR > 2000
GROUP BY YEAR ORDER BY YEAR
I created 2 hidden items namely P100_YEAR and P100_DRILLDOWN
I also made the column YEAR as a link and specified both P100_YEAR and P100_DRILLDOWN as parameters to be passed.
Next, I created REPORT2
SELECT YEAR, DECODE(:P100_DRILLDOWN, 'Department', department, 'Division', Division) dept_div, sum(YTD_SALES) ytd_sales
FROM SALES_ANALYSIS
WHERE YEAR = :P100_YEAR
When I run Report 1, it's fine, when I choose either Department or Division from the Select List and click on the link to call Report 2, report 2 is displayed, but the value being passed for P100_DRILLDOWN is not correct and as a result, I am unable to get correct results for Report 2
Am I missing something ? Are there any alternate ways to do what I'm doing ?

Hi Ashok,
The link definition will not know the value selected in the list as it is constructed only when the page is being rendered. You would need to create some javascript to handle this. I've done that here: [http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=267:182]
The link on the EMPNO column has been defined in the HTML Expression setting for the column instead of the Link section. The HTML Expression that I have used is:

</script>When a link is clicked, the doDrilldown function is called passing in the EMPNO value and the "this" object (which identifies the object triggering the call). The function starts from that object and goes up in the HTML tag tree to the nearest TR tag (the row tag that the link is on) and then finds the first SELECT list item on the row and gets its value. It then constructs a URL using this and the EMPNO value and performs a redirect to the second page (page 183 in this example).
