Lite vs. Personal edition, help please

Hi, I'm trying to get more experience with Oracle. I plan to take some cert. courses next month in Dallas in Oracle. I thought I would 'bone-up' a little. I registered for the Oracle Lite, but someone told me I should download the Oracle Personal Edition. Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the two? Also, the download for the PE is 327mg's, is there any other way to obtain it?

Hi, I used Oracle Personal Edition, but I 've never seen Oracle 8i Lite. Anyway I got some informations which will be useful.
1) P.O. 8 for win98 needs a computer with at least 32 MB of RAM - Oracle 8i Lite just 2MB.
2) Oracle 8i Lite doesn't support the PL/SQL language.
That's what I was told.

I can't get my ATI 3870 Mac & PC edition video card to install any OS previous to 10.5.4 because apple does not support them. Can someone please help me. I agree that the Proadvantage card might be a Mac compatible but the photo is wrong. Other dealers have made that mistake.

Adobe Digital Editions Help please?

I have purchased my first e-book: "Adobe Premiere Pro CC Digital Classroom" from JB HiFi. The payment went through successfully and I tried to download the e-book. I got the message that to download the e-book I had to install Adobe Digital Editions. I did this and got the message that it installed successfully and that my e-book was downloaded. When I opened Digital Editions I had two books there: "Getting Started with Digital Editions" which opened correctly and my purchased book "Premiere Pro CC" which would not open. I have been trying since Christmas to get this to work but it will not. I have also tried sending emails to Adobe asking for help and have had no response. Their help line is only open weekdays and I work full time so cannot get to talk to anyone. I use Adobe Light Room extensively, Photoshop a little and I was hoping to use Premiere Pro CC if I can get some help with opening this e-book. Will someone please help me?

Editing help please

Hey I was hoping someone could help with out with a bit of basic editing because I cant find any tutorials on it and I really need to get this piece of work quickly but I am unable to use my computer (sony vegas pro user) so have to make a clip at uni with adobe premier. I want to run two cli[p
I want to run 2 clips side by side without cropping them with some text above to show the difference between two sites before and after impacts. I just checked and its CS5 version 5.0.3 scully this comp has.

Ah missed the part: without cropping.
Then its just a matter of scaling the video's down and position them in the desired place in the Effect Controls.
If you highlight the word Motion in the Effect Controls and yellow bounding box will appear. Now you can scale down and reposition.

Advanced editing help please. iMovie 11

Hello all,
I wonder if my problem is beyond the scope of iMovie, but please let me know if it's possible.
A simplified example of what I want to do.
Clip A is 15 seconds long.
Clip B is 5 seconds long.
I want to replace the middle 5 seconds of VIDEO from Clip A while leaving the audio in place. The video will be replaced by the VIDEO from clip B. Audio from Clip B can be lost/disposed of.
This is a technique used very often on TV where you want a continuous sound track - eg music or a song that needs to run continuously. But you want to cut in alternative video.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

K8n Platinum Edition Help Please

I just got the msi k8n platinum edition ,
amd 64 3400
512 infineon ddr 400
geforce 6800 gt
2 160 maxtor ide
ernermax 460 watt
I clean install win xp and loaded all the drivers, the mobo works ok but I have 2 problems :
1) how works the firewall ???
I have dsl and when I turn on the firewall I cannot go online at all,what is to do then ?
2) When I boot and comes the win xp logo the screen stays for about 20 second than it loads the windows xp and the pc works fine , done many tests and no problems , any idea where is this problem ?
I hope someone can help me here , and sorry for my bad english

i had a similiar problem with my system at the boot screen but i also got a BSOD most of the time i couldnt read it but sometimes i could and it would be the MACHINE_EXCEPTION error well after many attempts at trying to figure this out a user here suggested i disconnect 1 of the CD drives and sure enough that was it i had them hooked up the same way as you only i was on the primary channel
dont know how to explain how your machine ran fine till this tho

Oracl 9i Lite is specifically for handheld-applications, while personal is more of a 'stripped' version of the database for use on pc's.

i install the version downloaded on this site, with minimun installation option. it seem ok until the configuration tool(oracle databse configuration assistant)step, where it initialises it database, the problem comes. Error ORA-00205 error in identifying controlfile.... then the database cannot mounted....

Move the domain.sites file from one computer to the other.
The file is located under User/Library/Application Support/iWeb/domain.sites. Move this file to the same location on the other computer and double click and iWeb will open it. Remember, it is your User Library that you want and not your System Library, as you will not find iWeb there.
Just create a new site on the same domain file and it will appear below the other site. If you want them side by side then duplicate your domain file and have one site per a domain file and they can then be side by side.

My latest import photos are missing from my iphoto library but still on my ipad, how do I get them back into iphotos. I very frustrated because i just imported them from my camera and have not been able to go thru and edit the ones I want. Help please

I recently imported pictures from my camera to iphoto. I also synced my ipad. In less than 24 hours my photos are now missing from iphoto even after trying to sync my ipad again. These pictures are from a very special occasion and I did not even get time to edit. Someone help please

My issue, which I resolved and may help you was the following:
I have an IPAD 3. I took over 5 GB of pictures on a third party camera. The car was full so I imported those pictures to my IPAD 3 and deleted them from the SD card. While on IOS 5.x, the photos on the IPAD were there under last imported.
Over the last few days, I upgraded to IOS 6. No issues.
Then, my family wanted to see the pictures from the trip. I went to the IPAD and could not find the photos. It listed 40 photos only. The last imported was there, but listed as empty. When I went into the settings>usage, it listed 5GB + of photos in the photos area. I was confused. I plugged my IPAD into ITUNES, first thinking I would get a backup asap (icloud was full after importing the photos). Then I though I would downgrade to IOS 5.
Also, itunes listed that I had 40 photos only, but 5GB of OTHER data. I was convinced the data was not lost. When I tried to browse the IPAD 3 using windows browser, the photos where NOT in the DCIM folder, so I was not able to simply "FIND" the photos and copy them to my PC.
-SOLUTION-
I downloaded third party software onto my PC called "http://www.i-funbox.com/" I fun box. I had no idea if this would work, but other forums with other issues called out similar products for iphone issues.
When I installed the program, which was free, and so far free of malware, I started to explore my IPAD file system.I found my photos, under IPAD>RAW file system>DCIM>100IMPRT.
-ROOT CAUSE-
I suspect when I upgraded to IOS 6, apple fails to register the IMPORT folder of photos as such, photos. So the file system in IOS looses sight of what is inside the last imported folder. Essentially removing them from applications such as "Photos". Why windows does not seem them, is beyond me. But the program I found did see them in raw format, and I was able to COPY them to my PC. Then I deleted them from the IPAD, because I had no other way of managing this folder in IPAD, and it was using a lot of space.

Thx Eric. You've helped! When I tried to copy the words written in my e-mail to show you what I meant, I right clicked to copy, and saw an option to open the attachment, which it did! So I'm sorted thank you. Editable means a form which you can fill in and send back. Thanks again. Stephen

The camera roll is not part of the sync process at all.
You should be importing these photos to your computer regularly as you would with any digital camera. Youc an organize them on your computer and sync the to the iphone if you wish.
The photos sync from the computer to the iphone is one way.
The iphone mirrors the selected content of the computer to which it is synced.
