Hi i lived in germany for one year and had american dvds with me and chnaged between german and english more than 6 times now i am in america and only can watch german videos.
Does somebody now how to change a 7th time?

This limit is built into the drive's controller software, called firmware. I have some DVDs that I like to repeatedly play video clips from. However, I'm having a problem with the DVD player going to sleep before the clip finishes, resulting in a very noticeable delay and message "waking up DVD player" when the time comes to repeat the clip. Hello, I am getting a Kern Protection failure error message when trying to start up my Olympus DSS Player dictation software. I have been using the software without issue for years until last month. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software and don't recall installing any new software before the issue began.

K3b, filesystems and a dvd player
Hi!
Im using k3b to burn a dvd with 6 movies... just one have less than 31 characters, and the subtitles .srt for it works ok
but the other 5 have more than 31 characters, and my dvd player do not "join" the video file with the .srt file... so, I have no subtitles there...
(I do not know why... if the player trim the video name file, and the srt name file... its the same "combination" at the end...)
I tried a lot of system files combinations, and none of them works at all
well I can rename all files to 31 characters or les... but... why?
(I have burned things like this in windows, and worked ok)
Any idea?I tried that... the joliet setting?
And I tried the allow 31 and 37 characters iso9660 (marked and unmarked)
I tried creating .tbl table
I tried generating udf structure...

Your images will then be referenced to a location you select. Aperture will still continue to manage the images, but the external hard drive must be connected if you want to make adjustments. This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. To do that, unlock the preference pane using the credentials of an administrator, check the box marked Allow user to administer this computer, then reboot. You can demote the problem account back to standard status when this step has been completed.

I bought an album and almost all the songs stop at random points and change to another song on devices and on my computer.
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items. -

is there an app for iphone which can be set to start recording video at a set time of day and off at a set time of day, and or can start rec video when motion detected, till no motion detected for a set period. basically someone is vandalising my vehicle and i really really want to catch the mongrel

Satellite P200-1B6: Sound Driver update fails and HD-DVD Player doesn't work
I have just bought a Satellite P200-1B6 laptop and spent the day installing the updates recommended by the TEMPO program. One of these was a Sound Driver update from RealTek but on running this it fails about 80% of the way through with an error: 'Install Realtek HD Audio Driver Failure !!'.
Now the Toshiba HD DVD player fails to start with an error 'Unable to output the video to an external device.
Please switch your display device by pressing the Fn + F5 keys after ending the application'. I've tried this but it seems to have no effect.
I'm now regretting starting to update the installed drivers. Should I try to rebuild the machine using the recovery discs or is there another solution that someone has found? Or have others found the upgrade works?

But after this update, I was no longer be able to read my HD-DVDs
Error message was: "Unable to send the video to an external device. Please turn off the display device."
The problem was much of the update Realtek R1.76 (Realtek Sound Driver - 6.0.1.547 - 20/11/07) currently proposed on the site toshiba.
Indeed, the P200-1DE is equipped with Realtek ALC268 Audio Codec.
The latest update of this codec is R1.89. I downloaded from the site Realtek and it has allowed me to solve the problem.

I have an IMAC (OS X 10.7.5) and the DVD player will not accept DVD's. As they are inserted, they are immediately ejected. How do I fix this?

Is QT DVD Player different on Windows and MAC?
I have both Mac and PC computers. QT 7.1.3 is installed on both. I can view both commercial (Hollywood) and non-commercial mp2 content on the Mac but not the PC. Can anyone tell me what the difference is and why?

There is no such thing as a QT DVD Player. On the Mac there is a QT Player which does not play DVDs and there is a DVD Player which does. You are probably trying to compare the DVD Player on the Mac with the QT Player on the PC here.

Apple Remote Desktop 3.3 versus 3.5
