I'd like to buy a MacBook from the Apple Store, but I'm afraid don't know how, since I don't see Puerto Rico listed anywhere. Don't you guys ship to Puerto Rico? If not, WHY? What other way is there for me to get the MacBook I want? --> The White MacBook (1.83GHz) with 1GB of RAM and the AppleCare Protection Plan.
Please, Help... Seriously.

Why don't you look at the Apple web site to try and find any apple resellers in Puerto Rico.

Im trying to buy some apps at Switzerland Apple Store, but could not get my creditcard number to be accepted as a paying method. Its an internacional visa/master card.
How should i proceed?

First, epub has nothing to do with size, it is a file format that is popularly used for ebooks, but ebooks published in epub file formats vary greatly in file size.
It will depend on where you buy it. Many books are DRM locked (Digital Rights Management, a software lock). If so, in order to load it into another companies reader or reader software, you need to use something like Adobe Digital Editions to "authorize" the book on the device. Apple's iBook software does not work with ADE.
If the book was DRM free, you should be able to read it in any ereader or ereader program that supports epub format.
If the book is DRM locked to B&N, Amazon, Kobo or whichever seller you shopped from, then the simples thing is to download their free app for the iPad (they all make one, in fact they all make free apps for iPad, Android, Mac OS X and Windows).
So the short answer is yes, you should be able to read any epub ebook file on an iPad, although not necessarily in iBook.

Amazon - get the Kindle reader app
B&N - get the Nook reader app
Kobo - get the Kobo reader app
non-DRM epubs can be read in iBook, Nook, Kobo, or Google Play

When you buy a phone from the Apple Store, they are going to automatically attach it to a carrier. I'm not sure if you're with one right now but either way this is the case. The price you're paying for the phone is relative and I'll give you detail as to what that means.
Virgin Mobile: No contracts and month to month
iPhone Cost (32GB: $649)
Verizon: 2yr Contract
iPhone Cost (32GB: $299)
Monthly Bill: $100 (All in)
Now understand the math here. Over 2 years with Verizon, you'll be paying ($100 * 24months) + $299 = $2,700. So you're locked in for 2 years. You'll have to pay a termination fee if you want to leave early which I'm sure will equal so some of the amount balance of the phone for what Verizon bought it at. You're paying less upfront but more over the long term.
With Virgin you might end up paying $649 up front but since there are no contracts, you can leave anytime.

If you do not have a US billing and shipping address, you can NOT purchase an iPhone from the US Apple web site, if that's what you're asking.
If you are physically in the US, you need to know that #1. Unlocked iPhone 4S will not be available for purchase until some time in November. #2. The warranty is NOT international. If it breaks, you will not be able to get it serviced anywhere but in the US.
As for taxes, you will have to pay sales tax in the US. As far as any duties on the phone are concerned when you take it home, you'll have to inquire of your government for the answer to that.

Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
Then restart your iPad.
Hold the power button until "slide to power off" appears. Slide to power off. After it is off, press the power button to turn it back on.

Are there advantages to buying from the Apple Store v authorised reseller?

I am planning on buying a new Macbook Pro as an upgrade from my macbook. I bought my last 2 Apple computers from my local Apple Premium reseller and have been happy with their service but I was thinking of taking a trip up to London to the Regent Street Apple Store just to take a look. Is there any advantage to buying direct from Apple, either online or in the Store, over buying from a reseller. Is the aftersales service any better if anything goes wrong?

No big differences, overall. Warranty coverage is the same. Return policy for DOA machines may differ (Apple will give you a brand new one, resellers may try to repair it). Apple Store stock tends to be fresher than most resellers (i.e. an MBP from the Apple Store is more lkely to have Leopard pre-installed, vs. a "drop-in" upgrade DVD).

I am from England, UK, 17, Student, and in November i will be traveling to New York for a week. While i am in New York i am looking to buy a Macbook from one of the many stores in the city.
But there are a few things that i wish to know before i buy a Macbook from an NY Apple Store, and i hope you can help me out.

+ Does this mean that the Laptop's keyboard will be in a US layout, or is there only an "English" keyboard, no different button layouts?
+ Would this effect my products warranty if i bought it back to the UK?
+ Would the systems OS (being a US version) be any different than if i bought it from the UK? If yes, would it have much effect on me as a user.
+ When buying a Macbook from a New York store, would my package include a UK power supply or would i need to buy one separate?

The only keyboard you can buy in a US Apple store is the US one.
The product warranty is worldwide, as is AppleCare, honored through an Apple Store or an Authorized Apple Provider.
Don't know if the OS is different, but doubt that it is since we both speak the same tongue.
The power supply on all Apple products are "worldwide". The only thing you would have to purchase is an adaptor to fit your plug. There is a box of plugs sold at the Apple Store for $30.00 or so.

I purchased a MacBook Pro from the Apple Store in Bath, UK about 3 years ago now, and when my Hard Drive packed up i took it into the Apple Store in Cardiff, UK to get it looked at. They replaced my Hard Drive there and then; free of charge as they were able to trace my purchase back to the Apple Store despite it being out of warranty. Will it be the same if there ever was a problem if i was to buy it off of the Apple Website?

The warranty is the warranty. Your device will be backed if it's bought from the site or brick and mortar store or even an authorized third party (in other words I bought my iPad at best buy and I can still take it into an apple store and have them back the warranty)
