LLC generation with a "recursiveness allowed" indicator in BOM

Dear planning friends,
I have the following problem with the low-level code generation in SNP.
We have few products, that have indicator "recursiveness allowed" in the material BOM.
How in the APO side the PPM reflects that (the circular reference - the product is produced from itself and another component). Has something to do with the "Primary product" indicator in the PPM? If yes, is it checked automatically (in the PP/DS PPM and in SNP PPM)? Should it be checked for the input or for the output product.
Anyway now the LLC generation fails. I'd like to include these materials in planning, but how to set up the master data?

Hi Mikhail,
Please note recursiveness in BOM components is not standard in APO PPMs. <a href="http://service.sap.com/notes">SMP Notes</a> 611063 gives the restrictions where recursiveness is allowed. You may also like to look at Note 648093.

Movement allowed indicator

Dear All,
I am facing this problem while planning material components for my project.
When I assign some stock material ( item cat. L) to a network activity, the system does not reflect the same in MB25. But in MB25, if I check the indicator " Goods movement not allowed", it reflects the reservation.
When i go to material component in project structure, I can see that under "proc. parameter" tab, under section "general indicators" the radio button for Movement allowed is not active.
Whereas for another project , this same indicator is active and hence i can see the reservation in MB25.
Can u pls guide me, for what background setting, this "Movement allowed " indicators become active or inactive.

Hi,
Another factor is the requirement date:
The reservation management program sets the 'Movement allowed' indicator for requirements dates planning within certain preset time horizon. For requirements which lie beyond this preset time horizon movement is not allowed (for instance, reservations with requirement dates in the far future). The time horizon is set in customizing.
Further, I think 'planned Independent requirements' are normally created with 'movement not allowed' indicator.
You can check what applies to your situation.

Reset the device did not help me but it does triggers me to attempt to resend the PDF file attachment on email--and it works the 2nd time. My problem is now solved.
The Adobe Reader is very helpful--it allows me to scroll through the document easily, unlike iBooks, where I cannot scroll straight up or down.

DNS Forwarders with no recursion

As I understand it, Windows DNS has a problem with its recursion (being attacked recently). But if you turn it off, and turn off internet access (forwarders). Is there a way to turn off recursion, and still allow the DNS server to use the root hint servers?
Other DNS servers?
If, as I suspect, the answer is no. Is there a way to disable recursion, but still allow certain domains (say domains that I control) to resolve. As an example;
DomainA.edu is prod
DomainB.edu is test
I don't really care if DomainB can see google, but I do want DomainB too be able to resolve DomainA. There is no Active Directory or other connection between the domains.
Can I do an import of DomainA or something to that effect (A manual zone transfer say)

There are two separate Recurision settings - one under the Advanced tab, and one under Forwarders.
Advanced tab: If you disable the one under Advanced, then your DNS server effectively becomes a Root server and won't recurse at all, meaning it will not use root hints (because it thinks it's one of them), and won't Forward (since that's
a recursion request. This effectively also makes it a content only server where whatever zones it hosts, is all it will resolve for requests.
Forwarders tab: If you disable it under Forwarders, it won't look further if the forwarder(s) fail(s).
You could theoretically set a conditional forwarder to a specific DNS, such as 2.2.2.2 for example, for DomainA.edu, and set the checkbox for no Recursion just for that domain, so it will only send the request to 2.2.2.2, then on 2.2.2.2 is set
to not allow recursion under the Advanced tab.
You could also setup one or two separate DNS servers in your DMZ that are not part of your domain and that have the MaxCacheTTL set to 0 so it won't cache, and have them just use the Roots and host no zones. Then internally, you can forward to
them, which they in turn will resolve external data. This is a secure setup that meets PCI DSS requirements (Payment Card Industy Data Security Standards). I myself work at a university hospital with 27k mailboxes. Without getting into specifics, this is part
of our setup, which meets HIPAA requirements.

Movement allowed indicator not on automatically

Hi folks!!
We are generating reservation with reference to production order through MRP.
In customising, we have set the no of days 10 for the movment allowed indicator to be on in reservation automatically.
But strangely for some material we are un able to make issuance due to movement allowed indicator is not check in reservation. Although the current date is 14.10.09 and requirement date is 20.10.09 so it is falling under the 10 days limitation set in customising.
Please let me know is there any other setting available to solve this problem.

system for the reservation number that is linked to the production order.

What is the normal amount of GB of Other Space for a new 32 GB Ipod touch 5 Generation with iOS 6.1.3? Also, will iOS 7 slow down/drain the battery of my device?

My Other storage space was at 2.84 GB after i loaded all my music/apps onto a recently purchased 32 GB Ipod touch 5 Generation with iOS 6.1.3. Resetting the settings and removing the music and apps did not help reduce the Other space. I restored to a backup and got my Other storage space down to almost 400 MB. When I started syncing music it grew 500-ish MB. Each time I sync, the Other grows a bit more. This is really irritating.
The official listed available GB on my 32 GB is 28.22 GB (not including Other), so now I am irritated knowing that this Other is taking up my space when I didn't even have 32 GB of free space to begin with. So 28.22 - 2.84GB = 25.38 GB.
I want to restore to a new device to see if that helps, but do not want to upgrade to i0S7. Is there any way to do this?
If I upgrade to i0S 7 I am worried it might slow my ipod or drain the battery faster. Will it do that? The ipod is expensive and I dont want it to go downhill and obsolete on me because it can't handle a better operating system.

Less than 1 1/5 GB is normal. It does grow with time.

Clearing customer Items with Special G/L Indicator 'A' (down payment)

Hi All,
I've to clear two items of a customer by t.code F-32:
Both items, that I dysplays by t.code FBL5N (u20AC 20.000,00 and - 20.000,00), are with Special G/L Indicator 'A' (down payment).
Only the first one contains a 'tax amount' equal to 4.000,00.
When I process the open Items of the customer by t.code F-32, I expect to see the two items as follows
20.000,00
- 20.000,00
Instead, SAP displays as follows
24.000,00
- 20.000,00
So, I can't clear them as 24.000,00 is not equal to 20.000,00
Could anyone tell me ho to solve?

first of all, thanks for your answer.
I've checked the tax category in the G/L account master data of the special G/L
account used for down payments (A). Tax category is equal to '+ '.
According to this setting, I posted a customer credit memo as follow:
Item 01; posting key 11; Customer account XXX; Amount 24.000,00
Item 02; posting key 09; Customer account XXX; Special G/L Indicator A; Amount 20.000,00 (tax code 20%)
Item 03; posting key 40; Debit tax account; Amount 20.000,00 (tax code 20%)
Now I've to clear the item 02 of that credit memo. When I try to do it by t.code F-32, SAP displays the amount 24.000,00 (with tax amount) and not 20.000,00.
Clearing that item, the system create a automatic posting for tax account of 4000,00.
This is my issue: SAP shouldn't create this posting for tax account.

IDocs for items posted with special G/L indicator

Hi all!
Is it true that the idoc types for open items (acc_billing, acc_invoice_receipt) are not able to post items with special G/L indicator.
Does this mean that i have to implement a program of my own which builds up a FIDCCP02 idoc to post open items from a legacy system for migration??

Hi Sukumar: This is a migration project from one R/3 4,6C to another one (5.0). Exits in this area may have influence on postings to be distributed immediately when posted in the source system to any target system. My task is, to migrate existing open items including special G/L items. There is just a transaction to create such idocs (GAL3), but i do not see, what this transaction would help. So a program of my own must be created.

BSEG-ZTERM is not contained by SAP standard dynpro:SAPMF05A 304 and hence it is not possible to display payment term in down payments with special GLs indicator, The reason being that the terms of payment not only control the due date but
also the cash discount terms. Hence it is not feasible to display terms of payment in Down payments. DP forms part of balance sheet and hence it is not system design to display payment terms with special GL indicator, Hope it will help you.
