Load status in PSA "Request not updated to any data target using delta"

Hi,
I need to delete the Unwanted request from PSA with status u201CRequest not updated to any data target using deltau201D
There are lot of requests are there in PSA but some of them loaded with status
u201CRequest updated in Data targetu201D u2013 I donu2019t want delete this requests.
Others u201CRequest not updated to any data target using deltau201D -- need to delete
We are deleting manually every week end.
Is there any program or tables which can delete automatically unwanted u201C Request not updated to any data target using deltau201D requests from PSA.

Hi Rajesh,
You may create a simple process chain, where you could include the variant "Delete PSA Request".At the bottom of this variant maintenace screen you would find options exactly matching your requirements.It's a very simple option and should not take you more than 5 minutes.

Master data loads Request not updated to any data target using delta

When checking the PSA the request updated ICON has red triangle and the mouse over says
"Request not updated to any data target using delta".
I am doing full loads for text data and both full and delta's loads for Attributes. This is BI 7.0 system but the loads are still from 3.1. DTP has not been implemented yet. The system was just upgraded in July. I am unable to schedule deletes from the PSA for successful loads. However, I think the data is updating to the info objects. My Info package has the selection to PSA then in the InfoObject package by package.
How do I schedule the deletes from PSA and why does the Request updated show red but the monitor for the info package show green?

Hi shikha,
The load has not failed but I am unable to delete the load from the PSA.
If you do a manage on the Data Source or go to PSA from RSA1 the first column has the green gear icon instead of a green check mark I have red triangle the mouse over says "request not updated to any data target using delta" The data has loaded to info object. I am trying to schedule deletes from the PSA and using the option to "delete only successfully booked/updated requests" So how do I get the request updated column to show a green check mark so my deletes will Process? This is for master data only. My transactions load fine and delete properly according to my settings.

PSA showing Request not updated to any data target using delta

Hi BWers,
I am very new to SAP and have a IDES installed with BW. I am trying to do a simple data load from a flat file. I have managed to create a InfoPackage, but when I schedule it and then go into the data source -> manage and look at the screen :
Requests for PSA /BIC/Bxxxx
I see the Request updated having a Red triangle with an exclamation mark in it and it says
"Request not updated to any data target using delta"
Wondering if someone can help me resolve this so that I can further create a DTP and load the data into the InfoObject.

Current Scenario :
we have existing system pulling data from 0CO_OM_WBS_6 ,ZPS_0CO_OM_NWA_2
Structure underlying infocube:
2 Data Sources >> 1DSO >>1 Infocube .
Usually the Data is loaded in delta format on daily basis using process chains.
For last one month the delta is not picking properly :
Example :
A WBS Element is created 2 years back and it open and getting its update into BW ,
latest amount or cost incurred for the WBS Element is not picked for certain WBS only :
I have Tried Giving a Full Infopack load to the DSO , but as DataStructure was migrated from 3.5 to 7 landscape :
its showing this error:
Request not updated to any data target using delta,
i went and created DTP which didnt help much Because latest isnt caputered .
if i goto RSA1old and find the full req and trigger it ,it says inti overlapping ,
how to over come this as this is a production issue

I am on BI 70 using 70 DataSource. I executed InfoPackage in full update, then ran DTP in full mode. There is only 1 data target. The requests were successfully updated in the target DSO. However, when I checked the datasource PSA, the requests were showing u201CRequest not updated to any data target using deltau201D with red triangle.
My questions are:
1. Is this normal?
2. I need to do more full loads. When I run DTP (in full mode) again, will it re-load those PSA requests (the ones already in DSO) to the same data target?

Hi Rebecca,
To answer your questions
1. Yes. This is normal.
2. Yes. When you run DTP in Full Mode again, this PSA request (along with any other subsequent loads you might have done to PSA) would be re-loaded to the same data target .
If this is not required you can set the DTP to delta mode. This ensures that the PSA request is updated to data target only once.

This is pavan and am facing this issue any one know for below issue to solve.
Data Flow is BW Version and Implemented in BI 7.20 version.The issue was data has come
to psa level but from here it is not updated to infocube so for that i have tried update manually
it is showing information that 1334 SID IS SMALLER THAN / EQUAL TO 47287 CANCELLED.
In Process Chain DTP is not included so how can i update data to infocube with out disturbing process chain

Hi Pavan Kumar ,
Please log on Tcode RSRQ -then give old request number (I think in your case 1334 is old request number),
and you will get monitor for that request then change the QM status to red after that load new request .

Sp L records are coming to the PSA and not updating in the data target

Special Ledger records are coming to the PSA and not updating in the data target in the month end and the info package is failing - because of that we are doing manual updating from PSA to the data target -
Can so one can tell the reasons why this is happening? And give the solutions to it?

If your Infopackage uses Only PSA and Update subsequently in Data Target on the Processing tab, then you will need to add a process for Read PSA and Update Data Target in your process chain, after the Infopackage load process. Then it will take data from the PSA and load to the data target.

Request not updated to any datatarget in BI 7

Hi Experts,
We have working in BI 7.0.
1. There are delta loads are coming from LO extraction. As it is BI 7.0 till PSA data will be pull by Info Package afterwards DTP is going to take care to load further data targets. I can able to see the delta in my DSO but in data source level u201CUpdated Requestu201D was blank. And in Request update u201Crequest not updated to any data target using deltau201D. Even it showing this message but in DSO there is request number from DTP. Is any delta records are missing? If we are using DTP then it has update the Update Request as "Request Updated in data target" in data source level, correct?
2. In order make delta from DTP. As we donu2019t have Init in DTP can we put Full load for initialization then another delta DTP. Hence Full is going to take care of Init in DTP?

what do you mean by "If I check in Data Source level Manage?" .. are you talking about PSA manage?
Let me guess..
You want to track a request which is in the dso...
go the datasource(in BI) under your DSO.. you will find Info Pak's.. select the delta info Pak and click on monitor button on the top.. from there see the latest one and from there go the DTP and see whats the request Nbr whicg got into that DSO...
There are bunch of other tables which will give you the same info as well.. like RSDSREQ*...
and the last part " i.e what I'm wondering?".. Is that a question or statement.. I did not get it!

Only PSA with the 'Update subsequently in data targets'- BI 7.0

Hello friends,
We are currently on BI7.0 and my concern is with the InfoPackage Processing of 'Only PSA' with the 'Update subsequently in data targets'checked. When I load the data it loads into the PSA and I can see it in the monitor and in the Manage of the DSO it shows me Transferred '328' and Added Record '0'/. How do I manually update it from the PSA into the data target from this point?
When I select 'PSA and then into Data Targets (package by package)' in the DSO manage screen it shows me Transferred 328 and Added Record '123'. So certainly that means that the data is not being subsequently loaded from the PSA when 'Only PSA' with the 'Update subsequently in data targets'checked option is used. Please tell me how to update data from PSA into Data Target when 'Only PSA' with the 'Update subsequently in data targets'checked is selected.

Hi,
In BW 3.x data flow, 'Only PSA' with the 'Update subsequently in data targets' option in Info package will load up to PSA only in case of the Process chains.
After this info package we must add the additional step "Update from PSA to Target" in order to load to the target.
Hope this will fix ur issue.

Request (PSA) was NOT posted successfully to data target (InfoCube)

In our daily load process chain I am getting an Error Message for "PSA to InfoCube" as:
Request was NOT posted successfully to data target (InfoCube)
Message no. RSMPC163
Please what is the exact problem it means & what is the solution

Hello Rajesh,
This requests fails when updating from PSA to Infocube.
Pleaes check the update rules for errors.
Try to find out the exact error message and explore the tabs in monitor for this job.

Values coming in to PSA but not in to the Data Target

I have done minor enhancement on Master Data Data Source and replicated in BW System the values are coming up to PSA for the particular field but not in to the Data Target. Can any one help me on this issue. Your help will be appreciated.

Hi Venkat,
Your datasource has been changed, but infosource and transfer rules - are not.
So, you'd better delete datasource - infosource assignment. Then replicate datasource again. Activate transfer rules etc.

Inbox Search - status for service request not updated

Hi,
In inbox search, the status change for a service request does not reflect until the user log offs or opens the service request in edit mode. PFB the steps followed. (Two users are monitoring the service request but is being processed only by one)
Web UI window 1(User 1): I open the inbox search result page. Service requests are displayed with the status field
Web UI window 2(User 2): In a separate window, the service request is approved by changing the status of the service request to Approved.
Web UI window 1(User 1): In the inbox result screen, i click on search for the same search criteria, but still the old status of the service request(updated in window 2) is displayed.
Observation:
1. If I open the service request, the service request still has the old status. If i click on edit, the new status is displayed. If i click on Back button (without clicking on edit), the new status is refelected for the service request in the inbox result page now.
2. If I log off and again open the inbox result, the new status of the service request is reflected.
3. The status of the service request is updated in the database immediately user 2 changes the status.
There is no enhancement done for the inbox search. The behavior is for standard inbox result.
Please provide any pointers to resolve this issue.

This is standard behavior in the SAP inbox. The reason is that SAP buffers search results in the Inbox in order to improve performance. So even though you hit "search" again, SAP does not update the search results because this search has already been executed in this session. Clicking "End" or logging off refreshes the buffer.
SAP released a note to update the "Responsible Employee" in the Inbox without requiring the user to log off. You can see their explanation and the solution here:

If you want to enable inbox refresh every time a search is executed, you will probably have to do custom coding. My guess is that you may be able to leverage the CRM_IC_INBOX_BADI. Let me know if this much info is enough or if you want further details on how to technically achieve this.

Is it possible to load a request already updated in the data target ?

Question: load a request which is already updated in data targets and data mart status is set
Data flow:
source system -
> ODS1 -
> Infocube1
Now, requests are first loaded into ODS1. Then these request are loaded into Infocube1.
Now, i deleted the request in the Infocube1.
Is it possible to reload the request from ODS1 to Infocube1 ?
Please suggest how.

It is possible to load the data but not same request.
The reason why we can not load the request is in ODS level delta resords are updated ,hence with the selection condition we have to load the present and previous data.
and one more thing...
If you are deleted request in Cube level means, we can reconstuct the same request via reconstruction tab..

i had copied the oUserLanguage.csv file and entered data into it and saved it(comma deliminated)
steps:
1.i had selected oUserlanguage object from list.
2.i had selected source file (oUserLanguage.csv )
3.the data properly matched and data is displayed when source tab is pressed. and ields are properly matched.
4.three check boxes are checked.
5.i had seen the message you are sucessfully specified required information for imporing data
6.in lost step it shows like below
Total: 2 business object(s)
2 business object(s) imported successfully
0 business object(s) not imported
0 business object(s) updated successfully
0 business object(s) not updated
7.in log files status shows succeeded
But I had cheked the languages , the data imported not shown.

Not updating to the data target

iam laoding data from cube1 to cube 2.
in the cube2, i made some update routine like if 2 key figures are so and so add new field with some value.
in the simulation it is showing correct values, but it is not updating in to the data target.
please treat this as urjent.

   Where have you written the code ? - In Start Routine or in the Field Routine.
I would advice to write in the Start Routine.
Let's assume you write the code in the following way.
LOOP at Data_package.
IF Data_package-field1 = 'X' and Data_package-field2 = 'Y'.
     Data_package-fielld3 = 'A'.
ELSE.
     Data_package-fielld3 = ' '.
ENDIF.
Modify Data_package.        ---> This is the most important one.
ENDLOOP.

Deltas are not updating to subsequent data targets?

Hi,
We are running process chain which loads delta data to a DSO O1 and then to DSO O2 .Then FULL upload will be done to CUBE by deleting the last request every time.
Till yesterday the data was loading to O2 DSO properly.But only one load has taken place to O2.As this process chain runs every hour from 4 AM to 7 PM.Can any one help me to resolve this issue.
It production emergency issue.
Points will be definitely assigned.

Hi,
Check if any load failed to ODS2 or if the last load did not complete.Fix that and then load.
Also check if the process chain is stuck and didn't complete loading. Also check if there are any dumps in ST22.
