Location of IR Web Client installation files?

Hi,
We have been on this product since Brio days. Now we are testing 11.1.2. I am trying to locate the files that are used to install the Web Client. We do a enterprise wide push of the Web Client via Active Directory, so I need to find the actual installer. Looks like the old zeroadmin folder is no more.
The documention for 11.1.0 does not appear to apply and the documentation for 11.1.2 that I have found does not mention.
Anyone?

Zeroadmin is still available under EPMSYSTEM11R1/common/epmstatic/raframework/ folder.

In the selection step, choose to install only ODI Studio and the local agent. This is the client software.

Hyperion Interactive Reporting Web Client Installation in Linux.

Is there any official documentation of how to install Hyperion Interactive Reporting WEB Client in Linux environments ?
I checked Oracle Documentation and I found information about the HIR Desktop Client. But not about the web client.
Note: I need official documentation because of a discussion with security admins.

The information required to automate (silent) the Insight/Plugin Installation is as follows:
Before going for the Silent Installation of 11.1.1.3 IR Web Client, we need create a Response File and moved the response file to Installer location to automate the Install.
Please follow the below procedure to accomplish the same:
1. Record a response file use the command "setup /ieinstall -r" (or "setup /ff install -r" if you use Firefox).
2. The above command will then create a setup.iss file in the <C:\Windows> directory.
3. Then move that <C:\Windows\Setup.iss> file to the Insight folder, so to resides with the setup.exe.
4. Then to launch the silent installation, use the command "setup /ieinstall -s" and it will use the options you choose when creating the response file.
5. You can create a batch file with the command line script as mentioned in Step 4 and keep in the same folder. So that the end user can use the same to automate the install.

Informatica Client Installation files on Windows 8

I have installed informatica 9.0.1 hot fix 2 on windows 8. I installed inormatica server sucessfully.
But I am having trouble installing the client. After the installation is done it says installation complete with warning. Below is the log file after installation of the client

try changing the compatibility of the install.bat or install.exe to windows 7 or vista or xp or 2008 and then run the client install see if that helps

Pl post details of OS and EBS versions. In the latest versions of EBS, Web ADI is included and no download/install is required. Refer to the EBS documentation on how to use WebADI

Cannot extract CS5 Web Premium Installation files

I recently purchased a new laptop that does not have an optical drive. As such, I have downloaded the two files from the Adobe site (Download CS5 products) several times. For some reason, the first file set cannot be extracted. It is in 7z format and I downloaded the 7z software to extract the files, but it continues to be unable to do so. I have placed both the 7z and exe files in the same folder on my desktop so the fact that I cannot extract the installation files is confusing. What am I doing wrong? Please help!

ICI Telephony web client 'installation' or 'config'

we are looking at setting up telephony integration with our NW04s landscape - ecc, crm etc all are in use.
We will be using a CRM interfaction centre, but wondering - from a basis admin perspective - what is there to do for installation and setup??
As most SAP user interaction will be portal based, I'm assuming I want to use the webclient aspect of ICI. Does that then call BSP's on the backend CRM system?
Does anybody know if there are any install guides available or more information on setup, config etc??

As far as i know CRM interaction center is installed by default on CRM 2007.... anyhow.. you'll find all the info you need at the CRM Master guide on SAP Marketplace.

32-bit Siebel 7.7 and 7.8 Web Client on 64-bit Windows Vista

Hello all,
do you think it is possible to successfully install the 32-bit Siebel Web Client (version 7.7 and 7.8) on Windows Vista 64-bit ?
I'm running Siebel client software against an Oracle 9i database. In fact, my Oracle client is version 10g (32-bit). But it works fine. Even with non-Oracle software.
I succeeded in installing the 32-bit Siebel Tools (7.7/7.8) on my 64-bit Vista. Just had to prevent the installer from putting the software into the default folder which is "C:\Program Files (x86)". Using the default folder resulted in the Tools being not able to locate the Oracle tnsnames.ora file. I created my own C:\PRG folder instead. So for example, I now have "C:\PRG\Siebel\7.7\Tools" for Siebel Tools 7.7.
I hoped this method would work for Siebel Web/Developer client 7.7/7.8 as well. But it didn't. In the middle of the installation process, the installer told me it could not locate MDAC and rolled the whole thing back.
I googled a bit around and found that Windows Vista do not use MDAC any more. It uses "Windows Data Access Components" (Windows DAC) instead. But I also checked my "C:\Program Files" and "C:\Program Files (x86)" folders and found that, for example, msado15.dll and msadoXY.tlb (which is a part of that MDAC/DAC stuff) is there, both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
So my question is:
How can you make the Siebel Web Client installer think that MDAC is in place and find it there (in the 32-bit folder, of course)?
I'll welcome any help.

First of you need to make sure you have the right versions of Siebel installed. Only the newest versions work in high interactivity mode with IE 7.0 and Windows Vista.
Have a look at:

Geting that to work with the Vista 64-bit, is more then pushing it.

Error Installing IR Web Client Plug-in

My users started getting:
"*Unexpected status 200 (OK) returned on http://installengine.com/oci_range_check.txt access check. Please check if the server is properly configured*."
The IE browser has HTTP 1.1 settings checked. IR Web Client installation has worked fine until a few weeks ago. We haven't made any changes to the Hyperion servers.

We are facing the same issue. Users and admin were able to install successfully few days back. Now the issue ocuurs when trying from workspace broswer.
I can manually install successfully on the server D:\Hyperion\BIPlus\AppServer\InstalledApps\workspace_static\zeroadmin\component\Insight\setupie.bat.
I tried uninstalling client and cleared the history in browser still same error.

B1 SHR Folder Client Installation not Working

Hi,
Today when installing SAP B1 8.8 client onto end users machines I came across the error below when trying to install the client from the B1_SHR folder.
*"Error Reading Setup Initialization File"*
From what I have read this means that the Client Installation file is corrupted and no longer working. I need to finish installation of the client onto end users machines.
How can I install the client without the client.exe from the B1_SHR?

Unfortunately, you do not have option to install the client without the client.exe from the B1_SHR.
You have to find a working version. This file need to have valid backup at all time.

MAC OS X - remote CM client installation

Hello All!
I have came across a task to deploy CM client on couple MAC devices in order to manage them.
I've watched several instruction videos about how to setup the site server and I'm pretty much clear on what to do on this side of thing. Anyway, the part that bothers me is how to remotely deploy the CM client it self.
This may be a silly question, but I have never done any kind of administration for macs.
In the videos, I have saw, they did install the CM client manually and that is not an option in my case. I should do it without users knowing that anything happened.
Can you please advise where to look for this kind of knowledge - or better - tell me exactly what to do? :)

For all non-Windows clients (MAC, Linux, Unix etc) you have to manually copy the client installation files to the device. Automatic installs and client push will only work for Windows devices.

Error when installation of Hyperion 11 interactive reporting web client

I can't install the web client through Hyperion workspace v11.
My steps are:
h3. Workspace --> Tool --> Install --> Interactive Reporting Web Client
Then error message is shown:
unexpected status 400 (no host matches server name XXXXXX.com) returned on XXXXXX:45000/workspace*/dataaccess/../../InsightInstaller/setup.ini access check
Please check if the server is properly configured.
After I pressed OK, another error message is shown:
unable to launch the installer. Please use the information bar (if available) to install activeX control or check if you have Admin right on this computer.
I am using IIS v5.1.
Can any friends help on this issue?
Is there anything to configure in my IIS? or the version is too old ?

I have got a problem in building a web installer using IzPack.I am getting this exception,when I am compiling my install.xml using a compile tool provided by IzPack soft.Eventhough I have not mentioned "packsinfo.xml" in my Xml installation file.
Fatal error :
null\packsinfo.xml (The system cannot find the path specified)
