Location to upload and share .SWF files?
is there a location to upload .SWF files to share similar to what youtube does for videos?
Thanks.
Ah, that probably wont work out too well then, considering the community
there has both high standards and a love of inside jokes. If you have some
kind of ftp site you can have them upload the files into that, and then go
to the urls of the respective projects (for example"
http://www.exampleftp.net/studentname/project1.html")
That would probably be the best way to do it that way it keeps the students
work in a closed network, getting feedback mainly from their peers, as well
as filters out any kind of spam/offensive/generic "this sucks" type comments
community based sites tend to run into a lot. Also, the work they upload to
the ftp site can be viewed from any computer. Your best bet is probably to
use Dreamweaver to set up the server and uploading their files. That's how
I did it when I took a class in Flash web design last semester. Hope this
helps, and I'm sure someone on the Adobe boards can help with setting up the
FTP site, since it's still something I have all that much experience with.
That or a tutorial could work too.

Cannot upload and share swf or captivate files in adobe connect
I'm trying to add a Captivate 6 file to my meeting in Adobe Connect 8. I can publish to the server but when I open a pod in the meeting room and share the document, it will not show properly. It will continue to spin but never upload (in Chrome it freezes the screen and in IE it spins and makes awful white noise). Uploading different ways does not make a difference. I am able to upload PPT and Presenter files fine. I migrated to a new server in July and wonder if some configuration is wrong. Any suggestions on what to try next?
I am assuming that you are using the direct option of publishing to Connect server. It will be worth the effort to try first publishing to a local ZIP file and then uploading the ZIP in Connect.

On Demand doesn't support adding attachments via web services. One
solution I've seen is depending on the scenario is to create a web link
field on an object that's based on a custom text field. Your web service
can populate that custom field and the web link can generate a dynamic
link to the file in On Demand's UI. However, this depends on where the
attachment is located and if the user needs some sort of firewall access.
Hope this helps

So I've got an FLV and an SWF file.... now what?
Hello. I started with a video (.mov format) and used Sorenson
Squeeze to compress/convert ... leaving me with an FLV file and an
SWF file.
Could someone please walk me through how to upload this to
the web so that I can send a client a hyperlink to watch it?BTW, I have my own website and an FTP program ... so
hopefully, I'm not totally lost, here.
(Note: I usually do this with WMV files, but want the file to
load faster, etc., hence wanting to use Flash)
Thanks again! -
Problem Uploading and Sharing Video Files
I just uploaded a 3.3GB h.264 Quicktime movie to Creative Cloud. It took many hours. Now that it's finished uploading, I can't figure out how to play the video while logged into Creative Cloud, despite that fact that under information it's recognized as a mov and 3.3GB. And when I try to share using the link-in-email option, my friend can't play the movie or download it. When he tries to download it, nothing connects. Creative Cloud seems to be treating this movie as a single still image or something. Suggestions as to how to solve these upload and share video problems? I have a 2011 MacBook Pro with all possible upgrades, Mac OS X Version 10.6.8. Any help here much appreciated. One of the reasons I signed on for a year with Creative Cloud was to utilize this 20GB to share video in the way I've done through Dropbox.
Thanks for the reply, Dave, but I don't think this is the problem. I've uploaded this h.264 Quicktime (which plays fine before uploading) a few times now and cannot download or share due to a very long period of "Connecting...", then the message "Problem loading page. The connection was reset. The conection to the server was reset while the page was loading. - The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments. - If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection. - If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the web." Then I'm given the option to "try again". This or a similar message is what others get when trying to download when I try to share the file with them using the link-in-email method, and neither I nor any of those I try to share this with are having problems with internet connectiions or downloading other large video files from the internet. The reason I suspect that Creative Cloud can't deal with downloading larger files such as this 3.3GB Quicktime is that I have no problem uploading, downloading or sharing small Quicktime movies through CC, and they are identified the same way and look the same when uploaded to CC. I also have no problem downloading much larger video files from other sites on the internet, such as feature length films that are a lot larger than 3.3GB. It seems like only things that download quickly don't time-out, regardless of what browser I'm using. Does Creative Cloud's download system rely on files being able to be downloaded quickly in full before a browser's time-out? As I've mentioned before, I have no problem uploading, downloading, sharing, etc. using Dropbox. Long explanation here, I know, but I thought all this info might help in figuring things out. Any ideas as to what's going on?

How can I store and share PDF files via iCloud?
I am trying to use iCloud to store and share PDF files from my PC, iPad2 and iPhone 4S... They are supposedly supported. I can share .docs, .xls, etc.... However, I cannot figure out how to share a pdf!

You can download an iWork document from iCloud as a PDF, but you can't share a PDF document with iWork apps on iOS devices. -
How to bundle a .FLA and multiple .SWF files in one .EXE?
Hi,
I have a .FLA file which uses loadMovieNum() to load various
.SWF files when each one is called by the user clicking on a
button. Each .SWF file also uses loadMovieNum() to call a second
.SWF file. When I publish the .FLA file as a .SWF file it all works
beautifully.
Now I need to package the entire project into a Windows
projector .EXE file for offline use on a computer without the Flash
Player. When I publish the main .FLA file as a .EXE file, the .SWF
files still load, although they blink before fully loading and
displaying steadily.
What I would really like to do is to bundle all the .SWF
files into the .EXE file so when I send the finished project to the
end user, they only have to deal with one file, rather than a
folder with the .EXE file and multiple .SWF files.
Is there a way to do this?
I am using Flash 8 Professional.
Thanks,
CamSince this isn't going to be web-based, why not include all
the external swf files into the same Flash file and then use
attachMovie?
This will allow you to create one .exe file that would
contain EVERYTHING. Since you aren't worried about loading speeds,
you don't have to load the movie clips, but can simply create one
large Flash file. -

Apex application file -upload and download a file.
hi
im having an issue with an application i created, its about uploading and downloading a file in application.the application is working and was able to upload and download a file but i have not idea there the file is stored in the application database, try to search for the file, its something dealing with the apex_application_file and i cant find it.
Any idea where the file is stored?
thnx
niveshDear nivesh!
If you upload a file into an APEX application the file is temporarily stored in the APEX_APPLICATION_FILES table. If you close your current application page the APEX_APPLICATION_FILES table will be cleared. You should create your own table to store files in a BLOB column. I've create an example for uploading images into an APEX application on apex.oracle.com. If you want to have a look at it please use the following credentials:
Workspace: flo_demo
Username: dev_null
Password: password
Application: 61811
Yours sincerely

Not going to happen the way you want it to.
When you add a gift card balance to the Apple ID, it's available for the Apple ID.
Probably best to create unique Apple ID's for each... this will also make things easier in the future as purchases are eternally tied to the Apple ID they were purchased with. -
Hi
I would like to upload and plot as overlays several text files in labview.
Uploading and ploting one file is not a problem but I want to load several and see them overlayed in a single plot. Presumably I need a looping routine that uploads each file independently putting the data in an array, then plots each of the arrays to the x-y graph. I just can't figure a way of doing it. Can anybody help?Hi.
Here is a small example (LV7.1)
