Logic pro 9 not currently available in the Australian store

Not sure if anyone can help as this seems to be a bit of a recurring issue worldwide from what I can tell (across various countries stores), but here goes.
My MacBook recently died and I am now using a new iMac. Amoungst other programs, I had purchased Logic Pro 9 from the Australian App Store in early 2012 and had installed it on my old MacBook. Given the MacBook no longer boots up (I know, a different issue to be sorted out another time), I know find myself needing to install it on the iMac.
When I log into my Apple account/ID, 'Logic Pro' appears under the 'Purchases' tab, hgowever when I select the 'Install' button on the right, it doesn't seem to do anything (it greys out and then goes back to the original button state saying INSTALL). I then click on the software title (i.e. Logic Pro) on the left-hand side of the screen and it presents a message as follows:
Item Not Available - The item you've requested is not currently available in the Australian Store.
I spent considerable money on this product and do not wish to buy the new version (i.e. Logic Pro X).
Is there a way I can download a version of Logic Pro 9 from the Australian Store?

Its worth noting that while Logic Pro 9 itself will not be available in the App store to purchase.. because it is no longer sold (which is what you saw when you clicked on the icon itself) it should still be available under the purchased tab.. (which by your description, it is) so you can download and install it again, having purchased it prior to it being discontinued.
Make sure you have run iTunes first and signed in there using your Apple ID and password..and authorized tthe new Mac via the iTunes menu option... and you may have to agree to the terms and conditions first before you can actually downlaod it from the App store's purchased tab... This is a known quirk of how the App Store works.... that you must agree to the terms and conditions on a new Mac and may have to authorize that computer in iTunes before the App Store app will function correctly.

  • We rented an Apple TV movie yesterday but didn't finish watching. Today it's showing on our rental screen as having 24hours left but when we try to watch it states that the movie is not currently available in the Australian store

Apple TV movie disappeared from Australian store mid watching.

If the movie has been removed from the store or no longer available for rent then you will not be able to access. You can verify by searching the store on ATV or other device.

  • Just upgraded to the latest version of iTunes. Now I get the message "the Item you requested is not currently available in the US store." When I click on OK, the dialgue goes away, but the store doesn't open. How do I fix this?

Not sure why I am getting this message anyway. I wasn't trying to buy anything. I just upgraded and then I tried to access the store. I had two purchases that I had previously made from a different computer. I was going to download them to this computer as my iPod is synced to this computer and you can only sync it to one computer. I was able to view my account information and from there I was able to click on the Purchased link. I saw the two items and downloaded them. But I received an error about the second album. It said that I didn't have sufficient privileges. When I checked all the songs had downloaded. Only the booklet was missing. Maybe this has something to do with the issue, I don't know. As far as I know, I purchased everything from the US store. I don't even know how to switch to a different store.
In any case, I can't access the store because the item I requested is not currently available in the US store. So why don't they just dump me at the home page instead of blocking me completely.

It is working now. I no longer get the message about the item not being available in the US and I can access the store.

  • "the item you've requested is not currently available in the indian store"  error while trying to open App Store/iTunes on iPhone

    Hi All,
Whenever i try to open the App Store/iTunes store on the iphone, i get the error  "the item you've requested is not currently available in the indian store".
This happens whenever there is link for an App that i want to download and it happens for each and every app which is easily available on iTunes from PC. I dnt know what the problem is because of my friends who has an iPhone is able to access it, so its even more weird. The only difference is that she has an legally unlocked iPhone and i have the "other one". Please help...because it is very frustrating to everytime go on to the PC to download an App.

    Close your iTunes,
    Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
    (Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
    netsh winsock reset
    Hit "ENTER" key
    Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

    pls reply me

    Your post answers your question.
Some features, applications, and services are not available in all areas. Application availability and pricing are subject to change.
If it states it cannot sell to you in India, or it is not longer available, then you can't buy it. We don't work for Apple nor can we say why it is not allowed.

  • The item you've requested is not currently available in the US store.....

I buy in apple store OS X Lion, but I cant instal, there is message-"The item you've requested is not currently available in the U.S. store"-WHAT SHALL I DO ?.

Similar experience here but finally succeeded! Here's the summary
Decided to (finally) update MacBook from SL 10.6.8 to Lion (it can't run ML or Mavericks) so this week purchased from UK Apple store. Received redemption code from Apple via email after couple of days and successfully redeemed this in Apps Store.
Under Purchases in Apps Store clicked on "download" and nothing happened! Clicking on the app name "OS X Lion" gave the message "The item you've requested is not currently available in the UK Store". Contacted support but got no useful help there.....
Following day went back to Apps Store and tried again clicking Download - still nothing (apparently - see below) so started thinking upgrade unlikely and £14 wasted.
A little later noticed new icon in Dock and investigating it said downloading Lion - checked Activity Monitor and indeed my internet connection was being hammered. At a little over 4Gb got an error message saying download could not complete (needless to say not happy) and download icon disappeared!!
So with nothing to lose reclicked Download in Apps Store and again no obvious activity and this time no new download icon in Dock - decided to check Activity Monitor again (just in case) and again high level of download activity! Maybe, just maybe, I thought and after about 90 minutes the Lion install screen appeared!
Have now backed up the Installer and successfully installed 10.7.4
I can't offer any explanation why it finally worked - Apps Store still shows "Download" not "Installed" as I would expect and the item is "..still not available.."!

  • TS1368 "The item you've requested is not currently available in the U.S. Store"

is the message I get when trying to connect to the itunes store today. anyone else having this issue? and what's up?

i just posted this...i'm having this error too. Don't know...i was having problems with some of my apps on my iPad 4 not working so i went to my computer to log into the store and i'm getting the error message, "the item that you requested is not currently available in the US store". Is this what you are getting? I'm getting this in my attempt to just OPEN the iTunes store. I'm not even downloading anything.

  • Not currently available in the UK message??

I keep getting the message below everytime I try now to access the iTunes store (I live in the UK) so I can't access the iTunes Store.  I've tried logging out then back in but that didn't help.  I'm running iTunes 10.7   The odd thing is that just before this happened I was able to log into the store and I even downloaded an audiobook, then the next time I tried to search for another title I got the message below.!
    Does anyone have a solution?
    Thanks
The item you've requested is not currently available in the UK Store.

I already posted exactly the same post a while ago.

  • Can't install printer driver: HP Color LaserJet 2605dn drivers "not currently available from the Software Update server"

I was having trouble printing to my HP Color LaserJet 2605dn from a Mac Pro running Mountain Lion, so I went to System Prefernces -> Print & Scan deleted it and atempted to re-add it.  When I try add the printer I get this message:
Software for this printer is available from Apple. Would you like to download and install it?
After clicking Download & Install (the only option other than Cancel), I get this:
Can't install the software for the Hewlett-Packard HP Color LaserJet 2605dn because it is not currently available from the Software Update server.
What's the workaround when Mountain Lion can't find the driver?
    Thanks!

The 2605dn has dual Network and USB connectivity. Which are you attempting to configure: Network or attached USB?
Printer on, and if networked, use a static IP address
    Print & Scan
    IP
    Provide printer static IP address
Select Printer Software ... HP Color LaserJet 2605dn driver (not sure about that 2600 driver)
    Add
Configure Driver under Options and Supplies
I have a 1994 HP Laserjet 4m Plus set up using these steps and the appropriate driver. I just added another network printer, using the same IP address, but using the above 2605dn driver without any issue other than complaint about a redundant IP address.
Hopefully, you have already sorted this out.
