Logs for CVP and ICM

Hello All;
Where I can find a logs for the ICM to check if an Error Happened while communicate with Call Manager or with Gatekeeper or with CVP?
Also in which server of the CVP servers I can find a log for the same purpose?
Any help?

The Peripheral Gateway is the set of software processes that integrate a peripheral (ACD, IVR, CVP, CUCM) with ICM. The process that is specific to the peripheral is the PIM (Peripheral Interface Monitor). In the case of CUCM, an additional process is required - the JTAPI Gateway. Look in the appropriate PG directory - something like \icm\\PGxx\logs. You will need dumplog to interpret the binary .ems files.
ICM does not talk to the gatekeeper and knows nothing about it - the VB (Voice Browser) in CVP, now called the H.323 Service, is the only ICM/CVP process that talks to the Gatekeeper.
If you have a CVP error, the first port of call is the Error log in \Cisco\CVP\logs. Even without extended tracing levels, errors will write in the CVP log and the Error log in this directory.

    I am configuring RSS Viewer webpart to SP 2013.

    I looked for solution of this error. i got to know, we need to set proxy server in web.config file.
    So, in order to resolve this i put the following set of code in web.config and save the file

    But, still i am getting the error.

    According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you used RSS viewer web part in SharePoint 2013.
    The RSS viewer web part uses authentication delegation and is using the current user's credentials to access the proxy. However, the RSS viewer only supports anonymous and Kerberos authentication. So if you are using NTLM authentication, the RSS viewer will
    not be able to authenticate the user through the proxy. More information, please refer to the link:

  • Informix Database for CVP and IPCC reporting, other suggested product

    Hi All;
    Currently we have in the site Informix Database to be used for CVP and IPCC reporting, but is there other recommended product than it to be more rich in the features and able to use it to generate reports for CVP and IPCC?
    From the other side: Any one suggest a front end tool (web based tool) that can be used to generate reports from the Informix DB?

  • How to set up SIP Proxy for comprehensive CVP and ICM mode

    Hello folks,
    My name is Eric and I'm facing some issues configuring a environment using the components below:
    - CM 8.6
    - ICM 8.5
    - CVP 8.5
    - SIP Proxy 8.5
    - VXML GW
    First of all, I always implement comprehensive mode environment at my customers (using CM, ICM, CVP, GW), but this is the first time that I'm using SIP Proxy, so the workflow change a lot. I've configure everything fine following Cisco's guides, my VRU PG's are ACTIVE, all the CVP services are UP, and the communications between the components are ok. Now I will explain below the workflow of the call:
    1 - When I call to a Route Pattern 9001, for exemple, this RP use a SIP trunk that sends the call to SIP Proxy;
    2 - At SIP Proxy Server I've configure a 9001 number in Route Table to send this dn to CVP Call Server;
    3 - The CVP route request ICM that picks this 9001 DN and run a script. After this, ICM returns the variables needed (media_server, media_lib, application name) and label to CVP using Send to VRU component;
    4 - CVP Call Server send this informations to SIP Proxy;
    5 - SIP Proxy sends it to VXML Gateway and I can see this calls reaching the VXML GW;
    6 - At VXML GW I've configured the dial-peer to reach my label (1234567890) and to calls the bootstrap service;
    The big problem is that the calls becomes mute after being answered, I think the communication between CVP -> SIP Proxy -> VXML GW are missing some steps because if I configure my CVP to work with ICM only (excluding the SIP Proxy Server) the calls works fine following the Local Static Route and goes to available agent or queue.
    If I'm using SIP Proxy Server, it's necessary to use Local Static Route or not at CVP? I think not because SIP Proxy will use the Route table to send the informations to the components. Another doubt is about ICM, for ICM is clear because the configuration is the same for use SIP Proxy or not, isn't?

    I'm not using Ingress Gateway, I'm passing from CM Route Pattern to SIP Proxy, using SIP trunk.

    - is your media file or the agent call, which one is silent or both.
    The media file is not prompted, so the calls becomes mute.
    - have you configured the routes for VXML VG in route table.

    - have you configured the rotues for UCM for agent's extension in route table.

    When I call, I can see it reaching the VXML gateway, but doesn't prompt the audio and neither send the call to agent. The agent becomes reserved but the call are not delivered.

    Using dataload, after loading some records application is crashing. Then we need to reduce speed. How I can avoid this issue.Are there any log files generated?
    What could be the reason for this ( EBS issue or dataload issue).I cannot really tell since this could be related to EBS or Dataload.
    Here we are using dataload classic.

    SE09 -> give ur user name -> click on the glasses -> then give ur Transport no -> then select the request and click on glasses on paper.
    Then u cn see the complete status of your tranport in all the system.

  • Need help to enable trace/logging for java debugging CRM 5.0 WebShop

    Dear experts,
    I'm new to sap, and i'm working on CRM 5.0 WebShop J2ee application with nwdi.
    I have to add a new functionnality, which has to call a custom FM in CRM. This FM has been tested and is OK.
    I have read the 2 files SAP_ISA50_DevAndExtGuide.pdf and ISA50_DevAndExtTuts_v1_0.pdf which have explain to me the process flow and organization of the framework.
    By helping me with the tutorials, I wrote all the files for my functionnality, from the jsp with the form, to the custom business backend with the call of the FM with parameters and JCo connection. (+ custom BOM, custom BO, BE interface, BE CRM implementation)
    Everything builds without error, and I deploy the application on my test env.
    Then I go to my webapp, I call the custom jsp with form, I put values, then I validate the form, but my FM is not called, and I don't know where is the problem, because I can't see a trace of the process flow, to know where is the error.
    By searching in this forum I found 2 notes that explain how to activate debug trace for all the application, one note for systems before SP11 and another for systems with SP11 and higher. But I don't know how to see the patchlevel of the system (I went to system information of the j2ee server and the on ly thing I can notice is below the server0 properties : Kernel Version:  7.00 PatchLevel.
    In these notes I read about Visual Administrator : I found this directly on the server with remote desktop, but the progress bar at the bottom of the window don't arrives to 100% and I can't see the properties and values of the parameters for the Log.
    I went to XCM too, and set appinfo and logfiledownload to true, then went to Logging into e-commerce administration console : in the Log configuration tab, I can create new configurations but the effective severity automatically sets to error, even if I set All or Debug manually ; in the session log tab, i tried to launch the application, then start log, then validate my form, then stop log, but I can't find anything about the trace of the process flow in the generated file.
    Please help, I have to finish this for end of week and I'm alone ...

    While in SLD you can keep track of user activity using the 'server log' link. This basically shows you who logged in and what function were performed.
    Wanted to find out if there is a similar log for repository and directory as well in XI. If so - how can i execute it and display the log.
    Is there a similar version of error log for SLD / IR / ID.

    An error [1012703] occurred in Spreadsheet Extractor.
    Spreadsheet Extractor Elapsed Time : [0] seconds
    Spreadsheet Extractor Big Block Allocs -- Dyn.Calc.Cache : [0] non-Dyn.Calc.Cache : [0]
    Transaction [ 0x60001( 0x4d8030e5.0xa0280 ) ] aborted due to status [1012703].

    There is an error in a formula(s), therefore, no calculations will work. The problem is that when you have the outline open in Edit mode and you try to 'Validate', it does not identify any of these errors, nor does it write it to a log. However, you can go one by one and validate each formula. So any time you delete a member or modify a member name, be sure that this member is not included in any formula.

    If you have the EM (Enterprise Manager) installed on your stand alone WLS (which you should) you can select the managed server your app is running on, select the 'Log Configuration' menu and you should see almost the same representation an in jdev.

    When i succesfully compiled an application which has a conver in it, the Deployment progress monitor gives the error:

    And doesn't display my app.
    Does anyone knows what this means?

    The ide log file (C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\.Creator\EA\system\ide.log) is located here: "Help" menu -> "Java Studio Creator Log file"

    The only tools I have seen merely 'analyse' (i.e. don't really) and/or summarise the information in the Apple logs. As the Apple logs are almost completely useless for this purpose they do not help at all.
    For those unaware, the Apple logs for AFP and most other services record activity like this.
    1. User logs in, this is time stamped in the log and lists the user name and the MAC address of the computer logged in from.
    2. User then does activity on the AFP file server, this activity is also time stamped but only lists the MAC address and not the user name. Every single file open command, etc. can be recorded which if your using network home directories results in a vast number of entries.
    The result is that if you want to find who deleted a file, you need to find the log entry listing the file deletion and then laboriously read back through potentially tens of thousands of lines in the log(s) until you find the matching login for that MAC address so you can then determine WHO deleted the file rather than which computer. As these entries can span across more than one actual log file due to the logs being rotated when a size limit is reached this is a nightmare to do.
    In other words, the logs are almost completely useless for auditing.
    I have a law firm also looking for a similar solution.
    The best I can say so far would be to stop using Mac OS X as a file server and switch to something else which offers proper auditing.
    Note: This situation is a result of Apple not addressing the Enterprise market historically - with some justification. It would still be nice to have a solution especially now that Enterprise is taking Apple (a little bit) more seriously.
    PS. To make things worse, I am currently implementing a Mac terminal server, this will have multiple logins running at the same time which will be in turn logging in to a Mac AFP server. As these sessions are all running on the same physical (terminal) server, as far as the AFP server is concerned they will all have the exact same Ethernet MAC address! This will make it literally impossible to tell which user did an operation using Apple's current feeble logging.
