Logs for query deletion

I can not seem to find a log file for deletion of queries.
I want to be able to track who and when a query is deleted.  Any ideas? Does anybody know if this is logged?
Cheers,
Kevin.

An unfortunate circumstance to be sure. Out of curiosity is there any particular reason you can't use ClamXAV rather than NAV?
I suppose that if NAV has a log and nothing relevant is in the log, then you're at a loss to even know if NAV is responsible for the folder's mysterious disappearance. Maybe you have technically savvy cockroaches in the building that come out at night to play? An informational age version of Archie and Mehitabel?
This experience may be an impetus to install software that keeps track of what's installed or removed from a computer. Doesn't help much now but it would be useful in the future.

  • Change logs for query...........

    Hi,
How to check the logs for query changes. Means which user has done what change. In properties we get the last user only.
Is there any way to check the full history of changes?
Can we change that in some transport request?
    Bye,
    Jeetu

    Hi,
There is no such facilities available to find, which user has done what changes in the query. you can only get the last changed 's user name of query. in transport request also you cannot change the query.
    To add, check out this:
Tcode SQ01>select 'Environement' from the menu>Directories>All Queries
in the popup window, select a query and click on 'Display' button. you would get some useful information about that query
    Bye

    Hi,
use transaction slg1. Enter RSD as object and CUBE_DEL or ODSO_DEL as subobject. Run the transaction and you will get a list about deleted cubes or ods-objects as well as the time and the user who deleted the object.

  • Log for Addition/Deletion of object in a Transport Request

    Dear Friends,
Recently I had a issue where I tried deleting an object from a transport request and I got the message that object is deleted successfully.
But when the transport was imported then it failed with Sy-subrc 8 because of the same object in transport.  The reason for the same could be :
1.) Either the object was not deleted from the transport request.
2.) Or Some one else added the same object again in the request.
I want to read the log of this transport in such a way that I see when a object has been added/deleted from a transport request along with SAP User ID of the person doing it.
Is this possible ? If so kindly share the steps with me.
Thanks a Lot for your kind help!!! This is very important for me....
    Regards,
    Lalit

    Hello Lalit
I hope nothing of that sort is available as the transport requests will again have tasks under them.
The changes done to  the task will have to be tracked in that case but SAP doesn't have that task change logging as far as I know.
All E0* tables relates to transports and objects under these transports none of them have logs on this nor even any transactions which allow user to edit the transport object.
You get an action log which provides who created it and who releaed them.
But if you configure CharM on Solution manager I hope you can track each changes.
    Regards
    Vivek

  • Logs for File Deletion?

I have a situation where I don't want to recover a file... I want to see how it was deleted.
Is there any way to review file deletions via Apple log files or any other method? My research so far says no... but perhaps someone is craftier than I've proven to be.

  • Is there any change log for query change in BIW?

    Hi Buddies,
Could you please tell me if there is a change log in BIW to record all changes made to query and workbook? Since yesterday, I found a very important query had been deleted from our BI system, but I did not who had done this.
    Thanks in advanced.
    best regards
    Patrick

Unfortunately there isn't. Check if you have the query in another system (test, development) and transport it again. You could also check if there is still an entry in RSRREPDIR but I don't think so.

    Hi
Ours is VPD database in 11GR2. We're using "LOG ERRORS INTO " feature to track list of records violating constraints.
For Inserts it is working as expected but for Updates/Deletes it is throwing mis. ORA- errors. "ORA-01762: vopdrv: view query block not in FROM"

  • How to find out query for the deleted record.

    Hi Guys,
We are using Oracle9i release 1. We are about 5 employees who are working on the same application. All Employee are connected to the same Schema (User)
    User: Employee/web
Now one of the user have deleted like 200,000 records from a table. We just want to trace out the query by which these records were deleted.
From which file i can get the log of executed queries so that i can recover the data.
Just want to know the query executed for this deletion of records?
    we are using windows server.
    Regards,
    Imran Baig

If you do not need an exact query, but only the way you can reconstruct the data, LogMiner can be solution for you. Below I have put a simple example – you can review it if you want.

    Table created.
