Long message in 4.6B

Hi All,
I am not able to display a very long message(100) in the task bar, even though I split it into some parts and concatenate into a variable but my SAP 4.6 B is only able to display max 50 char.
my requirement is to display the message in the task bar not by clicking the message or using any F1 help.
Also tried with the existing solution of SDN but its not working,
2nd thing I donu2019t have to display the message through selection text since we donu2019t want to generate new request sine we have to do some enhancement in standard report .
Please help me for this solution

Yes that is right what is mentioned above, first you give the company code and name then give the currency then select address (Shift+F5) and in that if you select country as IN then it will automatically come to master data.

Error in Project Coding Mask "Edit screen is "1" too long" Message no. CJ62

In sandbox already i have Define Special Characters for Projects is as "2" (Length of key for coding)
Now when i go for defining Project Coding Mask by making following new entry in the spro
example "PR .0000000000.00.00.00.00 Dairy Process Project
after entering above details system gives following error
Edit screen is "1" too long
Message no. CJ627
How i can resolve this issue.

Your coding mask is exceeding the limit of 24 characters(including special characters). Reduce some characters to make it 24 or less then 24.

Long messages problem

Hi all,
When I send a short message (2 to 4 lines) on my iPhone 4S and I press the stand-by button while the message is still being sent, I hear the 'woosh' sound a few seconds later. So no problems for that. But when I send a longer message (10 lines or more) and I do the same (pressing the stand-by button while sending) I don't get to hear the 'woosh' sound, even when I wait a few minutes. I only get to hear the 'woosh' sound if I reactivate my phone by pressing on the home button or stand-by button, and this can be a few hours after I had sent the message (for example when I'm at my work or so). So my question is: is this normal and does your phone need to be activated while it's sending a message or is this not normal and what for solution do you guys propose... It's not a big deal but I'm just wondering. I have my phone now for 4 months but I haven't really been noticing it since then, just the last couple of days it appeared to me. Thanks in advance guys

For an SMS/MMS that exceeds 160 characters which is the limit with carriers in the U.S., I would wait until you hear the sent alert sound before selecting the sleep/wake button if the message is not sent otherwise. Not sure why the message is not being sent after selecting the sleep/wake button, but it not you need to wait to ensure the message is sent before doing so.

IOS 5.1.1 messaging app broken after long message.

So I sent my dad a long message of just "ugh..." with about 50 "h"'s. Now his messaging app is broken, and when you try to open the app it's just a blank screen. And sometimes you can't leave the app without resetting the phone. I've already tried killin gall of his apps, and doing a reboot. He is dead set on not updating to the latest ios (he's not very tech savvy, and doesn't like change). Is there a way I can fix phone with out updating to ios 7?

If you genuinely were just looking for other users help to fix a problem, and weren't expecting Apple to read or respond you wouldn't have titleled this thread as you did. You wouldn't have said: "I can't imagine this hasn't been noticed by Apple, but the lack of updates and some sort of status to their customers is incredibly irritating. When will this be fixed?" The probolem is clearly in YOUR DEVICE. Maybe there is a a hardware issue. However, the other 99.999+% don't have the issue - and we're not bilind, oblivious idiots either.

I,m having and identical problem. In fact when I went to type this my split keyboard is dead center on the page.
When I hold down the button on the bottom right corner when I'm in split mode I get the option to Dock and Merge or just to Merge. There is no option where the keyboard stays split once it's been docked and merged.
Help! I have small hands and it's so much easier to type in split screen.

More possible bad news. If you had followed what fane_j had asked you to do you might have found out it wasn't microsoft's fault for your problem and wouldn't have had to spend $150. Because while you may have an Office that works, fane_j was not suggesting a solution but probing for a trojan (google "flashback trojan") that has been crashing powerpc code which is what Office 2004 is.
So if you do have the trojan, while you can run a version of Office, the trojan may still be in your system since installing a version of Office isn't going to remove it. So I'll make another request. Launch Terminal (in your Utilities folder) and copy/paste the following line into the terminal window and hit return:
defaults read ~/.MacOSX/environment
If you see anything other than a "does not exist" error message you almost certainly do have the trojan and post the results in this thread.
The choice is yours. You can ignore this and take the risk. Or do what has been requested.

Mail preview pane will not scroll down long messages.

using mail 3.6
i use the preview pane to view all my messages. when attempting to scroll down a longer message, whether using the arrow keys, arrow buttons, or scroll manually, mail will "pop" the message back to the top. if i double click the message and open it in a separate window, the same thing happens.
even if i stay on a message, and allow all content to load, mail will still pop back to the top of the message.
i looked through a couple of forums, and didnt see this exact dilemma, so please excuse if it is addressed elsewhere.
any ideas?

IMessage crashing because of extremely long message

My friend posted a REALLY long message in iMessage just to see what would happen, and now whenever I open iMessage it just crashes after freezing for a few minutes or after I close it and open it again. I've tried signing in as a different user, but it still froze. I don't want to restore because I don't like reloading all my apps and music and stuff, so any help? I am using an iPad 1 with iOS 5.0.1 16 gb wifi version. Any help would be much appreciated.

Try fully closing the Messages app by double tapping your home screen, which will bring up the most recently used apps (task bar). You'll see a row of the apps you've recently used on the bottom row. With you finger, hold it on any of those apps until they all jiggle. You'll see an X on the upper left side of each app. Touch the X on the Message app (you could close all your recently used apps, in case that is causing an issue). Then touch your home button once to stop the apps from jiggling, then again to bring you back to your home screen. Open Messages and see if it is operating correctly.

UC560 CUE not working--gives error "your recording is too short, record a longer message"

I have a UC560 running Unity Express 8.0.3 that is having voicemail issues. After a CUE reload, if a call goes to voicemail the caller gets a message saying "your recording is too short, record a longer message"; at this moment, an error shows up in the CUE session saying "localhost postgres: voicemail aesop [local] idle in transaction: CRASH sql sql sql PANIC: failed to add item to the right sibling for "pg_largeobject_loid_pn_index". After this error appears, any calls forwarded to voicemail just ring until they eventually disconnect.
I have confirmed that we are not exceeding maximum storage.
Is this a corrupt database? Would resetting the CUE to factory defaults help?

6131 and long messages

Hello, one of my friends have two problems with her 6131 and long messages:
(1) no warning when more than 160 chars are input while composing a message (annoying, given the cost of SMS here in italy...)
(2) it often happens that long SMS received are truncated at the first 160 chars or so, and no other text is ever received.

Sorry, but you cannot change that. Just keep an eye on how many part the SMS is going to be. Sometimes networks drop parts of multipart SMS messages. Try using MMS instead for long messages.

Kin TwoM- why are long messages split up?

I just got the Kin TwoM, and I noticed that my longer texts are being sent as many separate texts...much like it used to be when an AT&T user would text you a long message. Is there some sort of setting or way around this? Last thing I need is irritating people by being THAT GUY who sends messages like that.

My phone is only a couple of days old so I've been reading the manual and it states:
Type message to open the text box and type your message. You can type up to 800 characters.
My messages are also being split up when I know I am not doing a hard return and have nowhere near 800 characters. I'm not sure what's going on here but I'd also like an answer. I just checked the manual and it clearly states an 800 character allowance. I wonder if it has something to do with the limitations of the receivers device? Too bad I can't forward one of "those" broken messages to myself to see. There is also no copy paste option that I can find so I can paste one in a new message to myself. Any clues?
I know I've sent messages to a Droid 2 with a 160 character limit so maybe it's not our device at all it just fragments it into the correct character limit for the receiver?
