Looking for a weather alarm app

Hi all. I am looking for a voice alarm app that tells me what the weather is currently and what the forecast is for the day when the alarm time comes around.
The closest I have found is "morning report" but it does not give the forecast.

Because of the way iOS works, any alarm app other than the built in one will have to be running in the foreground to do what you want. Though I am extremely fond of the WaveAlarm display (it's currently my alarm app of choice) and the developer is extremely responsive, Alarmed might better suit your needs. It has both wake up and sleep options. So, you could set your podcast playlist to go to sleep by and then an alarm to wake you up in the same app. That way, keeping it in the foreground shouldn't be as much of a problem. The UI isn't nearly as slick as Wave Alarm but it's a great, feature packed program.

I was never a fan alarm clocks, the awful alarms they sounds are certainly no way to start the day. My CD radio alarm clock is slowly starting to pack in and I figure my iPhone4 can do the same thing. Can anyone recommend an alarm app that randomly picks music from my library and plays it back until I make it stop? I am looking for a word processing app that I can use for sending .doc and .docx format papers via email or uploading them to websites directly from my ipad 2 without having to export them to or sync them with my actual computer. Does the Pages app allow users to do this? I need to make a purchase of such an app soon. If this app is incapable of these actions, can anyone suggest an app or design an app for me that does them?

Pages can export documents in MS Word format. When I last did this (with Pages '09, the Mac version), the result was a .doc file.
Note that this is a translation, and like most translations, it's not always a perfect one. Some features of Pages are not supported in MS Word, and some Word features are not supported in Pages.

Looking for a voice memo app with folders

Looking for a voice memo app with folders
I'm trying to find a simple voice memos app that allows me to save the voice memos in folders right on the phone, and have them backed up to my desktop when I sync. I used to use Recorder Pro by Bear-Software but it doesn't work properly anymore. It was great when it worked. Why do so many of the voice memo apps just keep your voice memos in one huge long unorganized list? I need to be able to create 10 or 15 folders within the app, and save each voice memo to a specific folder. Any voice memo apps come to mind?

No app on iOS will let you add files to the music library. The only way to do this is to use iTunes on a computer.

That's definitely strange, kzmidge. I want a working phone in your hands though. I noticed you mentioned you received the suggestion to complete a reset. Did you already do that? Is it working again? Are you receiving an error message?
If you hesitated a little longer to complete the reset, you can try to place your phone into Safe Mode http://vz.to/rxg0ii and see if you can access mobile sites from your browser. This mode will stop 3rd party applications from running, so you won't be able to use the apps you mentioned but we may be able to narrow down the trouble in Safe Mode. If the mobile sites work, that means the trouble may be in a recently downloaded application and you may be able to avoid the reset my uninstalling some of your more recently installed applications. If it's still giving you trouble, the reset http://vz.to/18wzOCi is the next best step.

As to your issue, first, make sure that you did not inadvertently make an in-app purchase. Many apps, particularly games, are free for the base game but charge for additional features such as levels, "coins" and other such add-ons. Check your Purchase History to see if that reminds you as to what you might have purchased:

If you find that this was an in-app purchase, to prevent this from happening again, turn off "In App purchases" in the Restrictions settings on your device. For more information, see:

As to a refund, that's not automatic since the terms of sale for the iTunes Store state that all sales are final. You can contact the iTunes Store, explain the reason for your request, and ask, though:

They're usually pretty lenient in the case of inadvertent purchases, but there are no guarantees.
If the charge was not an in-app purchase that you made and forgot but the charges do appear in your Purchase History, contact the iTunes Store and let them know. You should also immediately change your password for your Apple ID. If the charges don't appear in your Purchase History, they were probably fake charges made directly to your credit card, and your card issuer will need to handle those.

Really sorry to hear about this, particularly when you're putting your life on the line. But Apple cannot track your iPhone in any way unless you had set up Find My iPhone prior to it being lifted.
It's possible that AT&T might be able to do something, but it's probably that they cannot track it, or will not without a request from an authorized law enforcement agency, but rather would only disable the device. You'll have to try and find a way to contact AT&T directly and ask if they can do anything to help you; the chances of any AT&T employee in a position to help you spotting this thread it pretty small.

with an iphone 3G the most up to date ios is 4.2.1 so you have a problem because whatsapp requires a higher version. If you saved an earlier version of whatsapp you could install that otherwise you cannot use the app. You will need to get a more up to date phone

Netflix does in fact have the old version of their app available.
In iTunes on your computer, download the App you want a compatible version for using the same Apple Id that the iPad has for the App Store. For Paid Apps its best to consult with the App maker to make sure there is a compatible App. With the App Downloaded to iTunes on a computer you can go into The App Store App on your iPad, Tap on Purchased, and Look for the App there. Tap on it to begin the download. It will likely say its not compatible, but if there is a compatible version it will offer to download it. Install the latest compatible version of an app on an earlier version of iOS or OS X
