I'm currently evaluating a new application for FieldBus Round Card.
We need certain specific info usually found on technical reference manuals.

Hope you are refering it to the actual page, which you invoke for any cfm/cfc request then yes, its extension would be .cfm/.cfc page but if you are refering it to its corresponding encoded pages from {ColdFusion10}\cfusion\wwwroot\WEB-INF\cfclasses then its extension would be .class.

OFC my INF won't work because it is for nVidia g210m. You need to add Hardware ID of your display adapter, that can be found in Device manager, to the INF and try again, replace my PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0A74&SUBSYS_FF401179 with yours, other modifications + new drivers for 310m could be required.
I still don't understand why you installed x86 version of windows when laptop came with x64 with all drivers on it, and all of them can be downloaded from toshiba site.
Install Windows 7 x64 and you won't have these problems. Other option is Windows XP x86 if you NEED 32 bit OS, and I can't see why...

The bootcamp drivers have been downloaded from apple's website. Filename: BootCamp5.0.5033
I have a iMac 27" late 2013 model.
NOTE: I have downloaded the drivers manually from apples support site as the bootcamp wizard fails third of the way through the download.
Appreciate any assistance.

There is a missing point in this thread, and it is that the Boot Camp drivers for the Late 2013 iMac can only be downloaded from Boot Camp Assistant. The Boot Camp drivers available in the Apple site are not compatible with that iMac.
Delete the Boot Camp drivers from the USB drive, open Boot Camp Assistant and try to download the Boot Camp drivers again. If you get a message telling you that they could not be downloaded, I would try reinstalling OS X through OS X Recovery, by holding down Command and R keys while your Mac is starting up

I am looking for a smart card (card with microCPU) reader which is compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 .
In substance, what I need is a little space to store all my passwords in, due to the fact that I might forget one: I have many to remember!
I have an USB key, but I use it in many computers, even in ones whose security cannot be 100% trusted.. and I want no doubt when talking about safety.

Looking for the App icon for Illustrator CS1 (version 11) Mac - just the icon.

Silly request....
I'm working on a project and need the transparent icon from Illustrator CS (version 11).
It's a magenta flower on a white box.
Looks like this:
(This one is not transparent whereas the actual icon is)
If you have CS installed on a Mac, it would really be great it if you could Control-Click on the actual App, choose Show Package Contents. Then look in Contents -> Resources and find a file called All_Application_Icon.icns.
Here's what it looks like for CS2:
Double-click that file (it will open in Preview on the Mac) and then choose File > Export and select PNG. Then simply attached that PNG to a post here using the little camera icon.
If you are on a Windows machine, I'm also looking for the Illustrator 4 icon. There was no version 4 for the Mac so I don't have access to that icon at all. It's possible the 4 icon looks like version 5 through 6.......
But I don't know. It may look closer to version 3....

If you are accessing iDisk while booted to OS 9, you are probably using the utility Goliath to do so.
The icon you reference looks much like those in the set used by Goliath, which can be found in the icl8 resource in the Goltiath program.
Tip - in OS 9, when you copy-paste an icon to a folder to give the folder a custom icon, an invisible file named "icon" is created and placed in the folder. This invisible file contains the "icl" family of resources for the custom icon. This resource is easily opened using ResEdit, and perhaps by other icon manipulation utilities, and eliminates a lot of the clutter associated with opening a program in ResEdit to get to the icl resources.
Because of changes to the icon formats ResEdit itself no longer works well in OS 9.1 and later for alteration or modification of an icon. However, there is a utility that will allow you to create custom icons or modify existing ones -

I have never seen an internal media card reader designed to fit in a Mac. Most are designed for the PC to fit in a 5.25" optical drive bay. If you could somehow modify one of those units to fit in your machine, you would still need a USB card with an internal connection to service the card reader.

Looking for the right List...

Hi there!
I want to use a List class to hold a potentially large number of elements. I don't care about randomly accessing elements; only Iterators will be used to iterate through the List. What I mostly care about is storage overhead and garbage collection.
ArrayList and Vector have the problem of re-allocating memory and copying their internal array as you add elements - in case you don't know the exact number beforehand, which is my case.
On the other hand, LinkedList creates a new object for each element you put in the List. All these objects will have to be garbage collected at some time, and this takes resources. In my case, I could have 10s or 100s of objects, each creating its own List with 10s or 100s of objects.
So, essentially, I'm looking for the best trade-off. Anybody done some stress-testing?

Well... it depends.
If you know up front how many entries there are going to be in each list and the lists are fairly stable then you'd be best off going with an ArrayList. If there's a lot of addition and removal of items in the list and you have no clue how many objects there are going to be in each list, then you might be better with a LinkedList. It may also depend on how you remove entries from the list (by index or by object value) or whether you just throw a whole list away and start again.
Personally I've used ArrayLists of ArrayLists containing 10s or 10000s of objects and "been okay", by which I mean this has never been the performance bottleneck in my system.
In extremis (particularly if performance is really critical and you know quite a lot about how your objects are to be organised) it might be more sensible to roll your own implementation (for example, if an object appears only in one list at a time then it could be made "Listable" and hold its own forward and backward references to aid in its insertion in a linked list).
If you can give some more information on the exact required behaviour then people can help more.
In the meantime my recommendation is to use an ArrayList and if performance becomes a problem, profile the execution later and consider switching.

I have tried all those things I even updated the software to the new iOS system and it still did fix my problem.
What happened is that my garage band looks like it will open then it shuts down.
I have lot of important things on my garage band and I'm afraid that if I uninstall it deleting it then reinstalling it all my work on it will be gone and I can't have that happen.
Everyday I am hoping that when i go to open the app that is will work but it doesn't it gets ready to turn on then it shuts off , the app doesn't even open all the way and turns off.
I really hope I don't have to erase it.
It'll say it's ,lading my songs then it shuts down .
If I waited for the App Store to come up with an update for garage band should I wait till then to update my app so it doesn't get damaged . I don't want to erase it and all my data get erased . I figured if I wait for an update then my garage band will reset itself but won't delete my data. I'm not sure if that will help. Is there anything you or anyone else might know that can help me with this matter ?

As you may have noticed, and the likely reason for this post is that that spec is not readily available for the PXI-5600. You will however notice that the overall phase noise of the system is noted and my suspicion is that even though the 10Mhz reference helps improve the overall phase measurement, it won't necessarily dictate the measurement. I can ask R&D for this spec but they will likely inquire the need for this specification. Do you intend to use an external source instead of the built in reference?

He had recently upgraded from wht we now know is 18.0 to 18.1 which is the latest version. He read the above artic
le and supposed that it was a bug fix release for his version - because the v17 ov18 number is not often displayed. It is usually just 2014 CC.
I have asked him to post a bug report about Adobe Illustrator CC 2014.1
