ive tried to put some music on my new iphone on itunes, asked me if i was new phone or back up from computer. i backed up from computer thinking id just get my old stuff and now all my stuff is gone and ive got all of my husbands stuff, photos, messages, whatsup and everything else. how do i get my old stuff back

Without a backup, you will not be able to recover deleted contacts. You need to set up a separate iCloud account for your daughter, so you can keep your mail, contacts, calendars etc separate.

I wish to reset my ipad (as advised by the Apple Store) to attempt to resolve an issue with a non-responsive part of the screen.. However, when I select General>Reset>Erase all content and Settings, I am prompted for a a Restrictions Passcode (which I have never set). I have now entered random codes 11 times and the ipad has not reset. How do I get past this? I am now at the point where I have to wait 60 mins before I can enter another random passcode. I just want the ipad to clear down, erase everything so I can start again.

I'm trying to figure out how to change my ICal back to the way it was before I upgrated my Desktop Mac computer. I used to have a perfect calendar and since I upgraded, there are no side borders to the days when I'm on the "month" view. It all looks like it is one big day running into eachother. I hope it's an easy fix. If anyone knows what I'm trying to explain, please help me!!
Configure the Extreme connected to the Hughes Net modem as your router. In other words in AirPort Utility, Network tab > Router Mode should be set to "DHCP and NAT". It will provide IP addresses to all the devices on your network.
All other AirPort devices on your network should be configured as bridges: Router Mode "Off".
You may want to configure static IP addresses for any equipment that is likely to be permanently installed. For them, there is no reason to have the Extreme issue an IP address, and they can keep the same one forever.
The Microcell may be able to connect to the Express's LAN port such devices that have to handle voice or other real time audio or video streaming are generally best installed using a strictly wired connection. The same applies to the Sony TV and AppleTV. Keep them on a wired LAN served by the Extreme, avoiding any reliance on a wireless link if at all possible.
The way to implement a complex network like yours is to add one device at a time. Ensure it connects reliably, then add another. You have a lot of work to do.
WDS can be implemented even with new Extremes but its performance is likely to be so unacceptable that it would be nothing more than an exercise in frustration for you. -
After upgrading my iPhone, I lost all my contacts and they were replaced with my wife's contacts even though she upgraded after I did. I did a time machine backup before I started the upgrade process, how do I get that saved data back to my phone?

Before you did the resotore Via itunes you should of made a Back-up of your Data. But to be honest, i don't think that you would be able to get that stuff back.. Sorry mate

What version of iTunes are you running on your computer? You need to update to the current version.

ok, so I transferred my 3S info to my 4S by restoring from an old phone backup. But SIRI is gone and god knows what else?? Can I get my old stuff into the new phone and keep the 4S new functionality?
I suspect unless he had some items in iCloud backup then they are gone. Connecting an iPhone to a different library from that to which it was previously connected will result in the device asking if you want to erase it.

If you made a backup before you restored it you can restore your iPhone from a backup and your game data should be restored. When you connect your iPhone in iTunes you can right click on it in the sidebar and select restore from backup.

On Mac 10.6.8, when I create a new window by hitting command-N or going to the file menu, or if another page creates a new window, the new window just appears instantaneously. However, after upgrading to Mac 10.9.2, new windows appear by an "expanding" animation, which takes slightly longer than the old "appearing" behavior. (Other apps on my Mac do not exhibit the "expanding" behavior, only firefox.)
Was this behavior intentional? How can I get the old behavior back?

Go to the mac system preferences and click on Doc. There is a Minimize window using.... select the animation there.
