Got an iPhone 5. Suddenly I lost my Notes. Don't know what happened. Can I get them back?

lost 7 pages of notes while traveling for my thesys desperated:
was writing on my iphone 4s notes while did cut and paste and suddently lost the whole text (which was not selected). there is no ctrZ type function on iphone so i tried paste thinking that it copied the whole text nothing then i went to icloud on the phone and the notes function was not selected to be backed up i arrived home today and connected my phone to my computer and open my itunes and nothing.
any suggestion?? help!!

It has always been very basic to always maintain abackup copy of your computer. Do you not have a backup copy?

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Offand, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off"
If these do not solve the problem you can restore from a current iTunes or iCloud backup.

If you had a back-up created you can simply restore from your back-up.

Contacts are not a part of backup (only favourites and recent calls list are backed up). Contacts are synced with a compatible programme on your computer (Outlook, Windows Contacts, Addressbook etc) or with a cloud service (iCloud, Yahoo, Google).
Sync them back from the programme you were using for backing up your contacts.
If you have not been backing up your contacts to either of these programmes, then they are gone.

Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you lost your bookmarks. In order to check if they are still there you can look in the profile folder on the computer [[Use the Profile Manager to create and remove Firefox profiles]]
As for syncing from the android, it is possible to add the account to the desktop and the two should merge.

I just upgraded my iPhone4 iOs and lost ALL Phone Contacts! How can I get them back?

HELP! I've been using my iPhone consistently for ALL phone numbers, since I have serious memory problems due to fibromyalgia. I upgraded my phone last night finally, having moved my photos out of it I had the space to download and install the upgrade.
I got a nasty shock this morning when I tried to make a routine call and found ALL of my phone contacts missing. They don't seem to be either in the cloud or in the phone. What happened? It said it was storing them in the cloud but they're all gone! How can I get them back?
IF this normally happens, why should I ever upgrade? Seriously! I didn't think to copy all of it out manually before upgrading, I'd upgraded once before without any problems. Addresses and other details gone too. I've got four numbers in "Favorites" but no context for them beyond location by state. I don't even know who they are - can't recognize just the numbers.

If it backed up to my laptop, that died and I just got the new computer. The one that's crashed won't even boot, so there's no way to even tell if it was syncing the contacts along with all the phone photos. Literally happened at the same time - it was because I had the new computer that I was finally able to pull the photos off the phone and make room for the upgrade. It had refused to upgrade for lack of space for some time.
I had thought it was set to sync to iCloud but it vanished from BOTH my phone and the cloud. That's why I'm so angry about it.

I lost my standard brushes...can I get them back?

They are probably still there and have simply been replaced by another set.
Go to the drop-down menu in the brush dialog in the Options bar and Append the Assorted Brushes set instead of replacing the currrent set.
You could also load the default brushes the same way.

No, I'm afraid that if you didn't back them up beforehand, then they're lost, unless you can use phone memory recovery software from the internet to recover them.

I found my playlists. They were never removed. It appears that iTunes 11 shows them in a different place. Which is kind of annoying. Even more annoying trying to add purchased songs to the playlists on your iPod.
- Click on the iPod button on the top right of your screen (beside the iTunes Store button)
- Click Playlists along the middle of the top of the iTunes window
There are the playlists from your iPod
Kind of frustrating to add the songs, but the way I did it is:
- Click on the song you want to add to your iPod playlist from your iTunes library
- Click the arrow beside the song and select "Add to Up Next"
- Go to your iPod playlists as per the above instructions
- Click on the list icon in the same bar as the Apple icon on the top of the window (it is to the right of the apple icon)
- Now drag that song to the playlist(s) on your iPod
I am sure there is a much simpiler way....I just dont have time to figure it out right now. If anyone has any simpiler way of doing this, please reply!!

Relax, nobody's ripping you off...
Apps are tied to the Apple ID you purchased them on and not the device so getting them all back is easy so long as you know the account details. To reinstall the apps just use the App Store and use the original Apple ID (account) that was used to purchase them, then re-install. If you setup a new Apple ID on your device when you initialized iOS 5 then go into the App Store app and change the account back to the one that was there before. Then go to update > Not on this iPhone and start installing...

I've lost my game toolbars and i can't get them back, how do I get them back?

I have two FF brousers and one of them was safe mode. I clicked on safe mode and a box popped up and had a couple links on it. I meant to click something else but instead i clicked 'disable toolbars' . I went on my normal FF and my toolbars I had, something called our world and frontierville on facebook, were gone! You may have disabled all extension, see Tools > Add-ons > Extensions
If they appear disabled in Tools > Add-ons > Extensions then you can enable them all or you can delete the files extensions.* (extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox [[Profiles|profile folder]] to reset the extensions registry. That should enable all extensions on the next start. New files will be created when required.

If you see disabled extensions that are not compatible on the next start in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the "Find Updates" button to do a compatibility check.

Losting the photos in iCloud..Can I get them back ??

I got the new iPhone and back up all the photos to iCloud from my old iPhone. However, I dont know that there is 30 days rules. So, I didnt save all of my iClouds photo to my new phone. You used the free Photo Stream feature of iCloud (1,000 photos held for 30 days) and did not backup your "Camera Roll" to iCloud.
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes. Click on your phone in the Devices heading (left side) and see if you used iTunes to make a backup. If you did you can restore from that backup and get all of everything that was on the phone.

I Had previously had my phone synced to my old computer (2011 mbp). This macbook pro is new and I was waiting for iOS8 so I could update everything at once. Once ot was all done and upgraded, i checked and my promary notes, the ones stnced with my gmail account, were completely gone! How can I get these notes back? They Re very important.

In trying to put a photo icon in my dock, I lost all my photo albums and can't get them back. Please help.
