Lost Shopping Cart

Everything works well in iTunes except I cannot get to my shopping cart. I can navigate through the store and add songs to the cart, but when I select the cart from the iTunes menu I get an error message "the network connection timed out". What gives? I never had an issue before.
Thanks,

The wish list can be used in a similar way to the shopping cart, that about all I can suggest.
If you want to downgrade you can download iTunes 8 here:
http://support.apple.com/kb/DL736
There is also a 64 bit version available if you search downloads.
IF you want to downgrade, you have to uninstall iTunes before installing the old version.
Then you have to rebuild your library from the xml library file:
Recreate iTunes library instructions
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1451
There should also be a backup of your old library in the Previous iTunes Library folder, this will date from the date you upgraded.
This article about something else tells you how to use it:

  • Cost center not committed on shopping cart,  for account assign cat "Asset"

    Hello,
We are implementing extended classic scenario in SRM 5.0 with ECC 6.0 backend.
While creating a shopping cart in SRM, in the cost assignment tab when we select an account assignment category as “Asset", and then try to enter a value in the cost center in the basic details of cost assignment, it is not getting committed to shopping cart screen. The cost center field value is lost when we move to the next screen for ordering the shopping cart. For the asset related purchases, we are using main account assignment category as "asset" and it also requires cost center, because while the asset master record is being created in R/3 for these items,it requires the cost center. We also using internal order. So for the account assignment category "Asset", the other account assignment fields that can be entered are cost center, internal order and one custom field called "project code".
We have created this user-defined field in the cost assignment tab in the shopping cart, purchase order and confirmation documents in SRM in accordance with the OSS note 672960. We have implemented BBP_CUF_BADI_2 & BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI, BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI for the shopping cart object.
Can someone please help me with this issue?
    Thanks,
    Krupa

thanks Ramakrishna and Yann for your prompt reply..
    Ramakrisha,
I know that for assets, SC requires asset number and G/L is automatically derived from the corresponding asset class from the backend. In our case, we are putting dummy asset number in shopping cart and this asset number exists in R/3. But we are not generating asset creation during shopping cart creation but we are doing it during the PO creation in doc change badi. During this asset generation you also need cost center on the asset record. So we have added cost center field for Asset account assignment category and I can see it in the details of account assignment. But when I enter this cost center on shopping cart, it doesnot get committed, it disappears when I order the shopping cart.
Does anybody have any clue why this might be happening?
    Thanks,
    Krupa

  • Transfer tax code shopping cart to purchase order

    Hi guys,
Got an issue with regards to taxes. Went through the forum, but wasn't able to find a conclusiver answer. So I'm a bit lost.
    We're on SRM5, SP18 ECS version.
We modify the tax code in the shopping cart based on certain punch out catalogs.
The shopping cart contains the correct tax code after the modification.
When the shopping cart is transferred to a purchase order, the purchase order contains the default tax code of our system.
    Example:
Data is transferred from catalog to shopping cart. The tax code is modified to code V1 (from default V3).
The shopping cart is now approved and a purchase order is generated. This purchase order contains code V3 (our default code).
Finance is starting to complain that they can't match the invoices in a proper way due to a mismatch in taxes.
The modification in the shopping cart is done via BBP_DET_TAXCODE_BADI.
I checked the mapping option via customizing, but this doesn't seem to work in our case. Back end contains the same tax codes as SRM
Should we somehow work with the doc_change badi? If so, does anyone has some sample coding? Or is the another option?
    Regards,
    Timo

    Hello Sukumar
Noticed the note as well, but it doesn't seem to apply for our case.
We've found a solution (to be developped). While transferring the data from the punch out catalog, we will change the product category to a category with the proper tax code assigned. This seems to work when we debugged it.
    Regards,
    Timo

  • Attachment transfer issue from Shopping cart to Purchase req in ECC

    Hello,
How are you all. Need your expert advise..
We are trying to achieve functionality where documents which are attached on shopping cart get transfer into Purchase req in ECC (Classic Scenario with SRM 5.0 and ECC 6.0). For this we have done following config / enhancements:
    - Activated BADI "BBP_CREATE_BE_RQ_NEW" in SRM with following code for attachment;
    cs_ctrl_att-BE_DOC_TYPE = 'SRM'.
    cs_ctrl_att-BE_storage_cat = 'DMS_C1_ST'.
    cs_ctrl_att-TRANSFER_ACTIVE = 'X'.
    - Created new document type ECC with t.code DC30 for SRM and assigned the object links for EBAN table.
After performing above task we are able to see Link of the attachment into Purchase req in ECC with document number (i.e. the one we assigned while defining document type in DC30) but not able to open the document in ECC.
Could you please let us know if there is any settings which we have missed for actually opening documents in ECC?
    Thank you
    Ritesh

Issue as reported Please let me know why the docs are not uploaded to SRm succesfully .
I am facing the below weird issue .
    Easy shopping >Shop> eHiring catalog
    Click Transfer to SRM
Now click on the button ‘Details’ and open the tab ‘Notes and attachments’
All attchments are names after the 1st attachment and all have the same file type
Basically you have lost all you attachments here, except 1 (when you click on the link, all links refer to the same document, so not just cosmetic). This is a problem.
When you order this shopping cart and search for it and open it again, the attachment tab is even completely empty, so now all attachments are lost.
Something like this, but less severe, happens in the process a bit further.
    - Approve the shopping cart with the applicable approver
    - Log in as Hiring desk:
Still no original attachments (like job descriptions).
Now click button ‘responses and awards’
Click tab ‘Items’ and fill out price ‘40’ euro
    Click notes and attachment tab
    I added 5 attachments
As can be seen here, the docx becomes an xlsx again, but it looks like it just takes over the 1st file type that was uploaded, it can also be the other way around (xlsx becomes docx) when the 1st uploaded attachment is a document.
But in this case, when you click on the link, it will open the right file with the right program, so over here it looks like it is just cosmetic.

  • Shopping cart creation category dropdown selecting the most used category

    Hi SRM gurus,
While creating a shopping cart one of our most used category gets selected by default before we start doing anything.
Everytime we have to change the category.
Is there a way that will become blank and we can select from the dropdown or the find list.
    Kindly suggest.
We are using SRM component version 4.0, SRM server 5.0, our patch level 0008.
    Thx. & reg.,
    Sridhar.

    Hi
<b>Yes.. This was happening with us when we used SRM 4.0 version.
We have used an  BADI Implementation to resolve this issue.</b>
    <u>The BADI name is <b> BBP_F4_READ_ON_EXIT </b></u>
For Product category -> Product category (attr. WGR, PRCAT)  GET_CATEGORY Method, you need to go ahead.
<u>Read the documenation of this BADI and you will get the problem resolved after implementing the same.</u>
    Here is the documentation
    BBP_F4_READ_ON_EXIT
    Short Text
Restrict the Display in Input Helps and Search Helps
You can use the Business Add-In (BAdI) BBP_F4_READ_ON_EXIT to restrict (or augment) the list of values and favorites that are output in the input and search helps. You can only process data elements for which input helps exist on HTML templates. The following three BAdIs are also available:
    BBP_F4_READ_ON_ENTRY
Use this BAdI if you do not just want to restrict the favorites and values list but also want to select this yourself.
    BBP_F4_MEM_UPDATE
    BBP_F4_SAVE_DB
The following three modules are used to process the values per data element:
    BBP_GET_<data element>_F4
Supplies a list of all values and user-specific favorites. You can influence how this module works using BAdI BBP_F4_READ_ON_ENTRY and BBP_F4_READ_ON_EXIT.
    BBP_UPD_<data element>_FAV
Updates the favorites in internal function group storage. You can influence how this module works using BAdI BBP_F4_MEM_UPDATE.
    BBP_SET_<data element>_FAV
Writes the current favorites to the database. You can influence how this module behaves using BAdI BBP_F4_SAV_DB.
    Use
Only implement this BAdI and only program the appropriate method if you want to restrict or augment the value set of standard selection.
If you determine favorites using a BAdI, the standard modules do not process the favorites further. Warning: If, deviating from standard selection, you determine the list of favorites yourself using a BAdI, you have to temporarily store the favorites in the methods of the BAdIs and carry out final saving to the database yourself.
    Standard settings
If data is added via the methods, no check of this data occurs. The check has to occur in the methods themselves.
The interfaces of the methods of the BAdI are (almost) always the same:
    IV_LANGUAGE
Language for determination of the texts
    IV_USER
User for which the values are requested
    ET_<data element>_LIST
The list of valid values changed by you
    EV_X_FAV_PROCESSED
Use "X" to stipulate that you have filled the favorites list. Only present if favorites table exists for relevant data element.
    ET_<data element>_FAVOURITES
Changed favorites list for user IV_USER. Only exists if favorites table exists for relevant data element.
The methods have to fill the structures of the transfer tables completely. Incompletely filled structures can cause followup errors and unforseen consequences.
    Activities
Reading of value lists and favorites using function module BBP_GET_<data element>_F4 occurs as follows:
    1. First the BAdI BBP_F4_READ_ON_ENTRY is called. It is possible to fill the input list (and favorites) with default values.
    a) In the case of default values, exactly these values are returned to the initiator. No further processing or check occurs and the module is exited.
    b) If no default values exist, the standard selection is carried out.
    2. Before the values are transferred externally you can restrict or augment the number of hits using the BAdI BBP_F4_READ_ON_EXIT. You can therefore delete entries from or add entries to the input list or favorites list.
    3. BAdI BBP_F4_READ_ON_EXIT provides an individual method for each data element for which an input help and/or favorites table exists. These are listed below.
If you use this method, you need to indicate processing using the parameter EV_X_LIST_PROCESSED or EV_X_FAV_PROCESSED. Otherwise the selection is lost.

  • Error When Create Shopping Cart from catalog SRM

    Hi all,
Currently, I have problem need your help.
I tried to create an shopping cart from catalog. But I don't know how the G_L_ACCT was lost.
The information about account like this:
Now, I want to know where this data is selected. Would you please help me for this issue.
    Extra Information: Acc_cat = 'A'.

Dear Melynessa: normally you should not get this error message when flagging "Order as Direct Material" in SRM 7.0.
Please, check in your backend ECC6 if "Value updating" flag has been selected or not for the material type of your SC material ID under the IMG path "Logistic - General --> Material Master --> Basic Settings --> Materual Types --> Define Attributes of Material Types"
If field  "Value updating" for material type is not flagged then, when creating a PReq or PO in SAP ECC6, you will get always an error message asking you for an account assignment.
Due to the circumstance above, in SRM, materials ID belonging to non-valuated material types should not be ordered as direct (flag order as direct is available always when you enter a material ID, even when it is non-valuated). If you flag the field "Order as Direct" for a non-valuated material, standard SRM system doesn't issue any error message. So, maybe, there is BAdi in your SRM system checking the "Value updating" for material type and avoiding "Order as Direct Material" flag being selected when it is a non-valuated material
    Hope it helps.
    regards
    Valentí

  • ITunes 9-- No "Shopping Cart",  "Wish List"  a poor substitute!

I miss greatly the easy functionality of the iTunes8 "Shopping Cart".
iT9's "Wish List" lacks SC's functionality and ease of use.
Has anyone who valued the iT8 Shopping Cart's functionality found a way to approach it in iT9?
I haven't and really miss it-- but maybe I just haven't figured WL out yet?
There seem to be two ways to populate your Wish List:
    1. use the drop down menu beside the "Buy" button in iTunes Store, or
    2. drag your song to your own Wish List album (i.e. an album you create with that name).
#1 method I have found to be incredibly frustrating:
    a. It took my a long time to figure out how to access that WL (iT Help was silent about this).
Answer: from iTunes Store's home screen, hold mouse over your user name in upper right hand corner of home screen and an arrow for a drop-down list appears including Wish List. The resulting list had my new songs in it and a bunch that seemed to have come from iT8 (I maintained a "Shopping List album to back up my SL because periodically it became inaccessible and I had trouble getting Apple to reset it for me) but it is really unpleasant to use, especially if you have a lot of songs there. If you are trying to access the most recent songs added, it is especially cumbersome-- it's divided up into pages and the song list sub-window, within the main window, goes off the bottom of my iMac 24" screen. Therefoer, you have to scroll down to get to the song list sub-window and then scroll again within that sub-window because the song list's page isn't fully shown and you have to scroll down within it to even see all songs on that one page. Then, Worse yet, the song list is into multiple pages, each of which requires a click to see content. You cannot get an overview within your own WL. Even more frustrating, every time you buy a song, this awkward display reverts to the first line of the first page which causes you to have to go thru this whole process all over again. Ugh.
#2. The 2nd method of making your own Wish List album is better, but still requires you to deal with the awful scrolling window within a scrolling window. I can't get any large overview of the various arrangements of a song that I am searching for. iT9's approach makes me feel awkward and blind compared to iT8. To populate your WL album, you must individually drag each song into a relatively small album accurately and one at a time. This is a pain vs. just double clicking on it in iT8 to add it to my SC. Once you've got the songs you want in your WL, you can see and sort them much like you could in the old SC. So the real problem I'm encountering here is the basic way that iT9 is designed to display music search results-- what I call scrolling windows within scrolling windows. I tried using the view menu to make it the kind of sweeping view that iT8 offered, but nothing seemed to improve the view.
Has anyone else found a work-around to recover the functionality lost in replacing SC's with WL's? Any user tips would be greatly appreciated! I used to really enjoy perusing iT8 and comparing varying artists/arrangements of the same song and this has become really unpleasant in iT9. I love iOS4 for my iPhone 3G though and had to update to iT9 for that. Too bad there's such a trade-off required!

This was discussed ad nauseum when iTunes 9 first came out months ago. If you search the discussions (using the Search Discussions box above and to the right), you'll probably find some of the myriad threads on the subject.
    Best of luck.

  • Add an approval to shopping cart whose status is awaiting approval SRM7.0

    Hi All,
In one of my requirements i need to add an approver to a shopping cart which is on status awaiting approval programmatically in SRM7.0.
    1. Is it possible to add an aprrover to shopping cart whose status is awaiting approval programmatically.
    2. If yes, please guide me the steps or classes and methods are used to do this.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Best Regards,
    Krishna

    Hi Saravanan,
I am sorry for delayed response..
    Requiremnet:
Need to add approvers manually to the shopping cart which is on awaiting approval status.
The code flow follows as below:
    1. as the workflow already started for this shopping cart so we have interrupted the shopping cart with belwo method
              CALL METHOD /sapsrm/cl_wf_adv_facade=>interrupt_process
                EXPORTING
                  iv_document_guid = lv_new_guid ( shopping cart guid)
    2. instantiated the object for the class /sapsrn/cl_pdo_bo_sc_adv, to its constructor i have passed values work item id generated in above process.
    3. added an approver manually to shopping cart using method of above said class /sapsrm/if_pdo_do_apv_ext~add_approver.
    4. if i skip the execution of method  /sapsrm/if_pdo_bo_sc~order, i am able see all the approvers added manually but the status is "In your Inbox"
    5. if i execute the above said order method, all the approvers added manually are lost.
    Question:
    1. Please suggest me the sequence of methods called are correct?
    2. As per my understanding complete workflow is restarting, so it is losing all the manual approvers if i am wrong suggest me,  Is it not possible to have previously added manually added approvers even after ordering the cart?

  • Shopping cart disconnect is ruining my business!!

Situation #1:Buyer put 3 items in his cart and tried to request combined shipping and eBay would not allow it. I told him to use the shopping cart on eBay.ca instead or to "commit to buy". He then responded that he was on eBay.ca and that it wouldn't let him ask for combined postage. Unfortunately for him, in the meantime, another buyer purchased 2 items out of the 3 he wanted. Then, it was not worth it for him to buy the remaining one, so I lost this sale.   Situation #2:Another buyer ask me to remove the Immediate Payment required on my listings even though I do NOT have it. I explained that eBay forces buyers to pay immediately for items under a certain amount. And that they want to force buyers to use the cart. Unfortunately, the cart does not work for items listed outside of eBay.COM. So I tell him to "Commit to Buy" his items on eBay.CA or to send "Best Offer" on the items that have that option. He managed to commit to buy 2 photos and then sent offers on 4 other items. HOWEVER, within 2 hours - yes, in less than 2 hours - he retracts his offers saying he was "not able to contact seller". Seriously, he expected me to respond to his offers within less than 2 hours on a beautiful Saturday? I know he just changed his mind and lied on the reason for his change of heart. And now, he wants me to cancel the other 2 items he committed to buy....  The main thing is, I don't really blame him... I think he just changed his mind because he was tired of trying to buy the photos he wanted. Because of the cart disconnect, I lost 2 combined sales of about $200. But how many more did I loose because buyers did not bother to contact me? Seriously eBay, when will you realise that this "cart disconnect" issue is MUCH MORE serious than you *think* it is? How many more sales will I have to loose before you do something about it? And don't tell me to list on eBay.COM. I NEED the shipping calculator for my items and until you find a way to include Canada Post in .COM, I cannot use it!   Thank you for letting me vent here. Do not worry, I was very calm when I responded to my buyers. Fortunately, I can vent here and be angry as much as I want and need to.

I completely sympathize, and I've been banging my head against a huge brick wall for months at the Wednesday Board Hours trying to impress upon them that this is a far larger problem for Canadian sellers than eBay.ca staffers believe (or at least claim).  You are right that this issue is yet another hardship and handicap for Canadian sellers (as if we didn't already have enough challenges vis-à-vis our American counterparts.  The "cart disconnect" has been ruining my ability to make multiple sales (and unfortunately the majority of my items are the type that used to attract a lot of multiple orders before the whole cart mess began).  It's probably also losing me a lot of frustrated buyers that I will never hear from or know about.  Now the eBay.ca staffers claim that the eBay.ca cart functions perfectly if one is logged onto .ca.  However, my tests have shown there are problems even there.  The situation #1 you describe may be yet another sign that things aren't functioning correctly even within .ca.  Some time ago I put up the notice which you'll see on my storefront page, asking buyers to log onto .ca or contact me if they're having any problems checking out.  However, I frankly think U.S. buyers will be reluctant to sign onto a site other than .com, and the rest just won't bother to ask me to help them.  The "Immediate Payment Required" for items under $1,000 (I believe that's the ceiling if I recall correctly) has, to my understanding, been in effect for about a year, and as you say, it can be a serious problem-maker that just adds another layer of complexity and dysfunction to the already badly broken cart system.   Apparently IPR was the final blow in the "disconnect" between the US and Canadian carts, but who really knows whether it may also be affecting the .ca checkout system?  The scenario #2 you mention really should not have happened if your items were all listed on .ca, and you didn't have IPR on them.   There are two factors involved which I think are influencing eBay's reluctance to do anything about this problem:  1)  It's almost exclusively a problem for Canadian sellers (for the reason that I would think most of us have a large U.S. buyer base who shop on .com).  Accordingly, or so we're told, eBay headquarters in the U.S. has virtually no interest in making our little problems their priority;  2)  EBay is making money (in FVFs on shipping) from every Canadian seller every time a .com buyer can't make a combined multiple order using the .com cart in order to get the seller's shipping discounts, and ends up purchasing all the items individually.  In most cases, honest sellers will refund the excess shipping to the buyer (at least I do), but in the meantime eBay has already collected all the FVFs on the individual items' shipping costs.  This may amount to only a dollar or two per occurrence, but multiply that by the thousands of times this problem likely occurs every day, and eBay is raking in a lot of free money from Canadian sellers.  Why kill the cash cow?  I'm sorry if I sound rather bitter and cynical about this issue, but frankly I've come to the point where I've realized there is almost nothing I can do about it except hold out a meager hope that it may get fixed someday (or else list on .com, which for many legitimate reasons I do not want to do).   It's a very sad and disgusting situation for an online selling venue as big and powerful in the marketplace as eBay is to make it so difficult for buyers to simply choose what they want and pay for it, simply, quickly and easily.  For some reason, other online venues have been able to figure this out.   You are absolutely right that buyers are not going to want to have to do "workarounds" or go through complicated steps to checkout and pay.  That's a huge problem for Canadian sellers, and I would think it should also be a concern for eBay HQ because every buyer who gets fed up trying to choose and pay for his items may just decide to give up on eBay completely.  Of course, if you're inclined toward conspiracy theories, you could not imagine a better way to finally deliver the coup de grâce to Canadian sellers in order to encourage them to migrate to .com (and perhaps close down .ca forever?).  Oh, but I'm looking for logical motives in eBay -- I forget that they are quite capable of being just plain stupid.  Sorry for the vent too, but this subject really isn't funny anymore.

  • Shopping Cart TabStrip is MIA (missing in action)!

The shopping cart tabs have all disappeared and I cannot find the control to bring them back!!
    Details
When you logon to the SRM portal and go to the Shopping Cart (Employee Self-Services tab) you are shown two icons:  Shopping Cart and Advanced Search.  Under those two icons is a tab-strip with five tabs:  1) Shopping Carts; 2) Confirmations; 3) Invoices/Credit Memos; 4) Team Carts; and 5) Confirmations for Team Carts.  If you right-click on any one of the tabs the context menu that appears has three options:  1) User Settings; 2) Display Quick Help; and 3) More Field Help.  Upon clicking on the User Settings option you have two more options:  1) Hide <current> tab or 2) More Settings.  Under the More option it brings up the complete tabstrip control window allowing you to add or remove any of the five tabs. However, there is also a link to "Hide Tabstrip Control."  If you click this "link" it actually removes all of the tabs and you can no longer access anything.
I have deleted the UserID and recreated the UserID and the tabs remain hidden.
    Please help!!

Michael, thanks for your idea.  I have tried that but right clicking on all other objects on the same page only shows the IE context menu (see below).  I can actually still see varied screen shading (darker blue on a light blue background) where the tab strip was located.  But if I click on another link, e.g. Advanced Search, and then right click on one of the fields on the subsequent form I do find a User Settings option.  However, upon selecting the the "more" option it opens a new window that looks similar to the one for the tabstrip but it is specific to the field I right-clicked on located on the subsequent Advanced Search form.  Each of these right-clicks will allow me to "hide" the button or field that was right-clicked on.  I dare not do this as these fields will most definitely be "lost" to me as well.  thanks for any help you can offer.

  • Why do I get an error message when I access my Shopping Cart?

I have no problem accessing Music Store or adding songs to my cart, but I get an error message when I attempt to access my Shopping Cart. My Keychains are in order and my account is active. I have not changed ISP nor is my computer new to iTunes and the Music Store. Suggestions?!
    iMac   Mac OS X (10.4.5)

    At last a solution.
But, you must be willing to forfit your shopping cart list and start over. If you mangaed to have a hard copy of it printed out before you lost contact with it you are lucky. I was not. But at this rate I was willing to clear out my cart just to be able to start over. (I was using my shopping cart as a wish list and I think it got to be rather large and larger and larger- and when I did try to buy things it took a long time for it to reset itself until I could not access it at all)
Turns out I exlpained what happened to the music store on the link below (scroll to bottom of link page for the email option to customer service)-
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/musicstore/connect/
-and told them I was willing to clear it out- which they did and they said it was necessary in order to reset my cart. They also refered me to this other link on how to create a wish list in the MUSIC STORE . This was helpful.

IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO LOOSE YOUR SHOPPING CART LIST, I did read that one could try to de-authorize and then reauthorize your computer. At least so you could print out your cart list if it is really long. I did not try this, but it was next on my list of options.
    Hope this helps.

  • Saving a shopping cart

Does BC support functionality to enable a user to save their shopping cart if they have created an account on an eCommerce site.  For example, a shopper adds items to their cart while signed in but doesn't checkout, the items are still in the shopping cart when they sign-in next time for them to update, check-out etc.

    Hey there,
The time you set under the shopping options in settings determines how long the sytem will hold the stock for to that person.
Note that when an item is added to cart then the stock is removed so this is important to know in terms of stock management. Not something a lot of people want, abonden cart wise people want this to be the lowest possible (1 hour).
This is also dependant on the machine, browser cookies etc so if cleared would be lost to the user.
In terms of being logged in there is no built in feature to do this as you mention without effect stock. What you do have though is favourites, you can favourite a product and form a list of favourites. In your logged in state you could go to a page, see your favourites and add those all into your cart when you are ready to buy.
You can enhance this if you are very good with javascript/jQuery for example where you can all those items to the cart at the same time.

  • Shopping Cart - Help?

I'm new to web design, and self taught, so go easy on me, haha. I have a site up, that sells organic mattresses and I need to add a shopping cart to it so customers can purchase online. I've added a buy now button and I want that to take them to another page where they can customize the bed and then purchase it online. You can look at it if you'd like; www.dremata.com
I have a google checkout account, which comes with a shopping cart widget but it's limited and I need a shopping cart with more options/more customizeable because there are a lot of different options the customer can pick that effect price.
I've been googling shopping carts for 6 hours now. Everything I've found turns out to be an entire online store. Which I'm not looking for, because I've already designed my website and set up the product pages. I'm just looking to add a shopping cart. I can't, for the life of me, find a premade shopping cart that I can just add to my site. At this point, I'm assuming I'm really ignorant on the subject and you can't do that?
I don't know too much about shopping carts, or how they work. So if anyone could help me out, let me know what my options are and the different ways to add a shopping cart, I'd really appreciate it!
    - Thanks

You've made a common newbie mistake of putting the wagon ahead of the horse.  Ideally, you should build your site pages within your shopping cart system.  IOW, the product IDs, descriptions, prices, options, etc... are stored in server-side databases.  Content is dynamically populated to your site pages.  This is the price of doing things on your own without first consulting an expert.  All is not lost though.  Find out which programming languages your server supports (ASP, PHP, ColdFusion...)
Have a look at Cartweaver and Web Assist  They each have e-commerce extensions that can be used with DW.
    Good luck,

  • Unable to find shopping cart in SOCO before approval

    Hi,
I am new with SRM and I'd like to understand why I am not able to find SC before approval using 'FIND' tab in the Sourcing cockpit, giving all required search data.
I've tried using product, vendor etc., but still I am not able to find any SC created before approval.
If I try trough 'Check status' it works.
    Please advise !
    Helpfull answers will be rewarded
    Thanks,
    Stefan

    Thank you Laurent,
Please have a look at the customer requirement.
Hi - prior to the annual stacks and patches process - we used to be able to amend shopping cart product categories in the sourcing cockpit [if needed] prior to the cart being approved/released
Since then we have lost this ability - apparently it was a 'back door' closed by one of the SAP updates.
We would like this fucntionality back iff possible  - this is because the product category drives the eventual GL the costs are posted to and certain shoppers just pick any product category.
Because of above mentioned requirement I have to modify the standard functionality in order to give them the option to be able to find/search and modify SC.
Please advise how to proceed !
    Thanks,
    Stefan
