LR 3 Collection Set doesn't see all photos

I have been using collection sets (Published>Nature>Coastal) to organize photos in LR 2. I've just upgraded to LR 3. If I add photos to an existing collection (Coastal) within a collection set, the photo is also seen when viewing the collection set that contains the collection (Published, Nature). However, I have also created a new collection  (Published>Nature>Waters Edge) under the collection set in LR 3. Photos that I add to this new collection do not show up when viewing the collection set (Published or Nature).
What's going on here?

  • ITunes doesn't see all photos in Adobe

Have 60GB iPod. 28GB music. I'm using iTunes 5.0 and Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0. I have 11,000+ photos so I've created three collections in PSE with 50, 300 and 900 photos in each. Syncing iTunes to these three collections, iTunes only sees 475 photos in one collection, 3 in another and zero in the third. It only syncs the found 478 photos. Why doesn't it see all of the photos in the three collections? I have deleted the iPod Cache folder then re-synced and this did nothing.

I had similar problem. Files that were not transferred had either no file-ending (.tif and .jpg-files without these endings are not synct) or a wrong ending (.pdf for example).
And the Apple-Hotline told me, a next iPod-software-update would allow a better sorting photos on the iPod. (Actually you can not use folders in folders, and all Photoes are sorted by date; a little help may be a count-number at the beginning of the file-name: 01.... 02.... 03... This helps, however it is not a good work for so many photos as you have.)

  • Unable to see All Photos when changing wallpaper in iOS 8

I am unable to see All Photos when I'm changing the wallpaper in iOS 8.  I can only see my Albums that I've synced from my computer and Recently Added. Is this is a bug, moved the feature or just some odd thing going on with my phone?
Workaround: I can go to the actual photo in the Photos app, select it and send it to "Use as Wallpaper"
    Device: iPhone 5S 32GB CDMA
    iOS: 8

Try rebuilding the database, see if it helps:
Hold down the apple and option keys and launch iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.

  • IPhoto doesn't see my photos

I was in middle of editing newly loaded photos, when the computer locked up. I had to shut it off to regain control. Since then iPhoto opens but doesn't see any photos in my libraries. Photos are still there, I can see them in finder and preview, but iPhoto shows zero photos. I have tried renaming library , creating new library, and opening different libraries, but iPhoto doesn't see photos in any of them. Any thoughts on how I can get back to my photos? I'm running Mac OS X 10.4.11, and iPhoto 2.0.1.

Have a look at this article
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2042
It has details on how to rebuild iPhoto Libraries prior to v6 - including v4 and v2.
Of course, the best solution to your issues is to simply restore from your back up.

  • How can I see all photo miniatures when I open a photo album or an event in iphoto?

  • IPhoto doesn't show all photos in photostream

Apple supposedly saves the last 1000 photos I take for 30 days.  What if I only take 100 photos.  Will all 100 photos stay in my Photostream indefinitely?  OR, will they be deleted after 30 days?
On my iPhone I can see all photos I've taken in the last year in my Photostream, but in iPhoto only the last month or two show up and I can't find the rest.  I'm confused.

Photos in the Photo Stream section of iPhoto are not imported into the library.  Instead they reside in this folder on the hard drive:
After 30 days they will be removed from the Photo Stream and the hard drive.  You need to select the photos in the Photo Stream window and drag then onto the Photos or Events icon in iPhoto to import them into the library so they are permanent.

  • IPhoto doesn't see new photos in iPhone

Trying to import new photos from my iPhone. iPhoto doesn't see them. I tried quitting both things, but still doesn't see them - now what?
    Using iPhoto 9 - version 8.1.2
    iPhone version 3.1.3

Computer sees the iphone, it just doesn't see the photos. This happened once before and I spent more than an hour with tech support fixing it - a real pain..... I'm hoping there is a quicker fix.

  • Itunes doesn't see all the data on all my albums

I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong, or what. I've got about 10GB of MP3's on my computer, when I open them on Windows Media Player or windows explorer I see all the info; album, artist, genre, everything, for all my files. when I add the files to itunes, I only get the info on about half the files, the rest just show the file names, but none of the other info. makes it hard to sort the files out, especially since itunes doesn't give you the option to see the file paths. of course since I didn't import the songs using itunes, it won't get the info from the internet.
    any ideas?

First off, I would STRONGLY suggest that a external hard drive would make you life much easier by at least being able to back up your songs on the external drive for when you need them. Even if you don't want them in the iTunes library, you can have them all ready on the external to be re-added as needed. You can get 100's of gigs for under $100 shipped.
Anyway, since you used Yamipod, are all the songs back on the computer? If so, I would go ahead and restore the iPod, let iTunes then resync everything back to the iPod, then switch it back to manual and see if the restore and resync clears up the issue.

  • New iTunes doesn't see all music in iTunes folder

I recently upgraded to iTunes 9.1.1.12. Since the upgrade, I notice that it only shows a portion of the files in the iTunes folder.
I can see them when I open the folder in Windows Explorer.
I haven't/don't receive an error message.
    How can I correct this?

  • AEx doesn't see all of my files

Hi, I installed an Airdisk yesterday. It's a 1TB Seagate Freeagent formatted in FAT32 with 840GB in a folder called itunes files\lossless. It's assigned as the Z: drive on both my Windows XP machines. That folder contains subfolders for each artist (1395) and below that by album (2700).
First machine worked fine. It saw all and added all the files to itunes.
Second machine added only half the files to itunes. When I look at the z:\itunes files\lossless directory, it only shows the folders it added, i.e. it's missing half. If I enter one of the "missing" folder names in explorer, it comes up, and can play the files in it, but it still doesn't show in the directory. Because it doesn't show all my files in the directory, itunes won't add them.
Currently, the first machine shows the same subset of my files. It still plays all of them through iTunes. The files are in place, the pointers in itunes are correct, but the directory doesn't show all the folders/files.
I have renamed the drive and reset the AEx, but it still shows the same subset of my files/folders.
How can I get all my files recognized?

It's not a time issue. The directory loaded, just many of the files weren't there. This was on two pc's and one mac.
What do you mean enabling NTFS? I had a two hour service call that came down to Airport not recognizing NTFS.
I solved the problem by taking the drive off the airport and connecting via USB to a pc, creating a new directory, moving the files to the new directory. Voila, all there. Just had to load them to itunes which was actually a real pain on the mac, as it got overloaded and slowed to a crawl--would have taken a couple of weeks at the rate it was going. I had to manually add a bit at a time to get it to work. Ugh. Will have to again if the Airdisk flakes out again.
    Very dissatisfied.
Plus, today I attached my portable WD MyPassport (also FAT32) to the USB hub on which the other drive sits, and the Airport went bonkers, unable to hold a connection (wired or wireless) with mac or pc, and bluescreened my XP laptop when I tried to rut Airport Utility.
This is a product that does not do what it claims, in my experience so far.

  • Itunes doesn't see all my iphoto photos

I noticed that I checked "sync all photos, events, and albums" in my preferences in iTunes (10, Snow Leopard) but not all photos sync to my iPad.  It's driving me crazy!

Make sure that in itunes you have chosen the folder above the others So if folder oare in my pictures folder then choose 'my Pictures" not the individual folders within.

  • Is there a way to see all photos in all subdirectories at once?

    Hi all,
I've been poking around and haven't been able to figure this out.
Is there some way that I can set up Bridge to allow me to double click on a directory in the "Content" panel and, at once, see all of the images including those inside of sub directories?
Is there any way to achieve this? I have a lot of stock image clips sorted into various directories but sometimes I'd just like to see everything at once.
    Can this be done?
    Thanks,
    Rob

Flat view (the Filter folder icon with the red stashed circle) has stopped working for me in Leopard. Works in Tiger.

  • Not seeing all photos in Project

I have one project that shows all photos contained in the albums below it, but another project does not. How can I fix this?

I have a similar problem where I have several projects that the photos are not shown. If I show project info it shows the number of photos that should be there; however I can not see any in the project?
I can find the photos in finder in the location I told Aperture to store the files.
The project was in tack and viewable when the photo's were imported, and at some point they are missing?
It is not a filter or tag, I have been through that route, and this set to "all photos".
I have approximately 35,000 photos that are in about 40-50 projects.
I am currently disappointed in the performance of the file system of Aperture, and the fact that I have been plagued with crashes and lost files.
    Any help appreciated,
    Robert

  • Not seeing all photos in iPhoto, but all appear in Aperture

I just updated to Mountain Lion and updated iPhoto and Aperture.  I noticed, and had a slight heart attack, that only 5000 of my 51000 photos were shown in iPhoto!  I then opened Aperture and happily see all 51000 photos.  I am using the same iPhoto libray and not sure if there is some setting that I am missing on iPhoto that is hiding a majotity of my pictures.  I need to have both applications access the same library, I use Aperuture and my Wife uses iPhoto.  Any sugesstions on what I may have done wrong?

Are you using Stacking in Aperture?
