LSO- Course Groups and Course Types are not displayed in Spanish

We are having issues with the
data like Course Groups and Course Types not being displayed in
Spanish on the Learning Iview.
The Data in the Course Catalog is loaded in Spanish and
English and I can see the Course Catalog in Spanish when logging on in Spanish in the back end.
SAP asked us to apply few notes as below
#1247020 OTR: Texts are not transported
#448220 OTR: Text is not determined/incorrect text is displayed
We have applied the above as well and we had no solution.
However the Problem is NOT related to Texts/Labels as these are displayed in Spanish.
The Problem is related to the data like Course Groups and Course types not being displayed in Spanish in the front end.
SAP also came up with the below which did not help either.
The system will pick the language texts in the sequence
maintained in the view T778L. If the system does not find text in
login langauge , the application will search in the sequence
maintained in the view T778L .Therefore you can change the sequence
of the languages in the above view as per your requirement.
Let me know if anyone has a solution to this or has encountered the same problem.

Is this production or is this in a development system? The dropdown displayed comes from the standard tables. If it's working in development system and not in production, then the chances are higher that the translation didn't go through.

The new additions to the Collection appear and are accessible in both the iPad and iPhone applications, but even though they additions appear in "Quick View", the material doesn't appear in the Collection itself. Yeild and Activity Types are not coming on confirmation

Friends i am facing a problem while doing Confirmation of production order in T.Code Co11n .Yeild(net production) is not picking from the Production order and also Activity types are not coming while doing confirmation.
please help me out in this problem

There are 3 possibilities to populate the activity and yeild field:
1) The system can propose them based on quantity, using the standard
formula, directly after entry of the operation being confirmed please check it in your order first
2) The system can propose them at the time of saving
3) They can be manually entered ~ however using this option, formula
will not recalculate using the settings from the Standard value key,
set for the work centre.
To set one of the above as default in customising, follow these steps:
- Call transaction OPK0
- Select the default Confirmation Profile SAP001 is being ticked marked. - Default Values , Qty and Service in OPK0
- Select the Default tab and set the default for Quants and Services
to 'Immediate Proposal' or 'Propose When Saving'
These options allow you to choose whether the activity and yeild proposal in
C011N is given immediately after entry of the operation to be
confirmed or upon saving the confirmation. However note that if
you subsequently override these proposals by maually entering activity
details, the formulae will not be recalculated and manually entered
data will take presidence.

Plant and Cost Center are not displaying in FI doc. for asset scrap ABAVN.

Hi All,
When we do asset retirement by Scraping using Transaction Code ABAVN, Plant and Cost center are not appearing in the FI document. But, in the master data the Plant and Cost center are assigned for the particular Asset.
When I see the FI document display, the fields Cost Center and Plant are blank. Business Area and Profit Center fields are getting updated.
Can any one help me how to get this Plant and Cost Center in the posted document. Is there any OSS notes for this. I am using ECC 6.0 version.

Aditional on me answer.
The systemtakes not the cost center from the asset you have to assign it in OKB9 or to fill in during this posting:
Steps
Click on Simulate, than you see the posting screen:
Click on the line (pk 40)
Click on Goto and Additional account assignment and fill in the cost center whatu2019s in the master record of the asset and post
An other option is to make a substitution to get this information

Properties (group and channel) added are not a numeric data type.

I am using a dataplugin to add both group and channel custom properties. The properties are both text and numeric, doubles and integers.
When I create a query in Navigator, I select the custom property using the dropdown, but the operator dropdown only has "=" or "<>". The property displayed in the Data Portal is a float number. I was having this problem when I was adding custom properties using a script. I then tried "Navigatorettings/My DataFinder/Reset/Reset Index", then repopulated my Search Area, using the dataplugin on my raw data files. At this point, all my properties only have the "=" or "<>" operator choices in the query.
So it appears that my properties are numeric in the Data Portal, but string in the Navigator Query.

could it be the properties you are talking about are already "optimized" for query?
In case yes, did you do the optimization by script like
Dim oMyDataFinderSettings

Call oMyDataFinderSettings.OptimizeCustomProperty(eSearchChannel, "Author_age")
And did you do this, before DataFinder has indexed some of your files?
In case yes, DataFinder has to make a guess the datatype of the property without example - so always "string" is chosen.
(If DataFinder has already indexed some(or better all) files containing the property, DataFinder will "optimze" the property in the datatype which occurs most for this property.)
In case you know the datatype of the property you are about to "optimze", you can provide this information to DataFinder

Business Place and Section type are not available in Substitution-OBBH

Hi,
We are going to make substitution for business palce and section type at line item level.But after defining prequisite , when we go for insertion of substitution field then we not finding field for business place & section type respectively.
Pl tell me how we can link these substituion field or may be some different step for linking field which we can get at the time of substitution.

Hi Dharma,
If you want get those business palce and section type fields as substitutions .You have check this Program VWTYGB01 in SM30.
In that select Maintain button and Remove the Exculde Flags in which you want selected fields like BSEG-BUPLA,BSEG-SECCO( business palce and section type )

PPR - Additional attributes on existing Set type are not displayed.

Hi Expert,
I have requirement to add some fields to Product to display in PPR product tab. I have added attributes to existing Set type which is already configured to display on PPR - Product tab. After adding the new attributes, I regenerated Set type but still in CRMM_PPR I don't see these new fields although the existing attributes of set type are on screen.
Any idea what I am missing?

Can you show the relevant JSP code and set/get methods in the bean?
Sometimes this error is caused by capitalization. e.g. a request param of "myName" calls setMyName(). Also, your bean must have a no arguments constructor.
Also, if you don't specify an action,the form submits to the current URL so you should be ok. Are you sure that the JSP runs when the user submits the form?

Japanese and Russian characters are not displayed properly

I have a pdf file which has both russian and Japanese characters in it. Before I install Japanese font pack, the russian characters were displayed properly but for Japanese characters Junk characters are displayed. But once I installed Japanese font pack, Japanese fonts are displayed properly, but for Russian characters are displayed as junk characters. Please let us know if can display both font types simultaneously in a document or is there any work around for this ?

What is your Reader version?
If Reader X or earlier, did you also install the extended font pack?

Maintenance Optimizer - Systems and Logical Components are not displayed

Hi Experts,
When I use the Maintenance Optimizer and select a product version, I do not get any Systems and the relevant Logical Component so that I can select one of those that are displayed. Did I miss any configuration settings or is there anything else that I need to do. Please give me the checklist that I need to look into before selecting a product version in the maintenance optimizer. Please help me out of this.

My email and my iCloud are not displaying my correct last name. How do I set up my correct name in my apple iD?

As I mentioned, my Apple iD has an incorrect last name for my account, so everytime I send an email the recipent doesn't know it comes from me as it seems that the email was sent by another person.
I've changed my las name a few times through the email preferences at icloud.com but it keeps changing back to the previous name.
Do you know how can I set up my name to be correct again?

All you can do is not give him your Apple ID password.He can use existing apps and music on the iPod and can sync with iTunes. In order to make any purchases he would have to enter your Apple ID password.

ITunes 9.0.1 and Snow Leopard are not displaying video

upgraded to Snow Leopard and applied the 10.6.1 patch yesterday, and tried to watch video in iTunes today.
I get audio but no video.
Tried all the obvious (making it full screen, moving the window around) all with no resolution.
looking for pointers on how to resolve this.

no remote speakers, just trying to play the thing on my iMac.
have gone through the preferences to see if anything there. tried the setting to force video into a new window - whatever option I try results in the same audio-but-no-video problem.
I am also able to view the files within QuicktimeX outside of iTunes.

Permissions are not displaying correctly on Yosemite server

My file and folder permissions are not displaying correctly on my Yosemite server when viewed from a Yosemite client.
I have set these permissions from the server app on the server and have added local network groups for the appropriate folders on the share. When checked from the server's finder, everything looks correct. The server is setup for both AFP and SMB on file sharing. I have also tried setting permissions from the server's finder and seemed to make no difference.
When logged into from local or VPN Yosemite clients using AFP, the permissions do not show anything but postgres user and everyone group. Even though they should have network groups such as skoogfinancial, skoogmarketing, etc.
The server does seem to enforce the permissions correctly though a user cannot get into folders he does not have permissions for.
Therefore, it seems the server is enforcing correctly, but a user may not understand what is going on as the permissions list doesn't list anything meaningful.

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of this exercise is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login. Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Be sure your Mac is shut down.
Press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
*Note: If FileVault is enabled under OS X 10.7 or later, or if a firmware password is set, you can’t boot in safe mode.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem(s)?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

I bought some movies and TV shows from the iTunes Store. Unfortunately, the cover of the purchased movies and TV shows are not displayed. They are available in the meta tags. Also for subsequent complete the cover they are not displayed. At home movies or older, store purchased movies and the purchased songs there are no problems.

JPG and RAW files are not grouped together.

I am finding that my RAW and JPG files are not grouped together. They show up on the Grid View as JPG for the JPG file and RAW + JPG for the NEF(RAW) file. This does not seem to be consistent through out the folder. Some of the pictures are grouped together and others are not. The ones that are not grouped together have been auto-stacked and then unstacked. I am not sure if this is what caused the seperation of JPG and RAW files. I did try to take a picture that I had auto-stacked it and then remove it and it did not sepearate. The "Treat JPG files next to raw files as seperate photos" option is turned off, like it is in my Lightroom 3.

Where are the files?
If I click on the Folder 2014_12_14... all the files from all folders will populate.
