LSO: Integration to outlook, possible or not?

Hi all,
Does anyone know if it is possible to have an inteface from SAP LSO to Outlook Calendar? What we would like to achieve is to have course bookings etc. to be updated in Outlook Calendar, however this seems not possible in the current solution.

  • Access to Outlook Anywhere does not work

    Good evening,
    I recently installed an Exchange Server 2013 CAS / MB.
    Until now, the server presented a few errors (mainly in the
    event log) that does not seem to significantly influence functionality.
    This week I published the server on the Internet and verified various malfunctions
    related to the access from outside.
    In particular from outside:
    1 - OWA does not work with Windows integrated authentication, it works with the Forms based authentication;
    2 - Outlook Anywhere does not work from internet.
    I've done a lot of research and testing without success.
    With regard to the first issue (which is not a priority but can relate to second one)
    add that in Firefox I get a first authentication request. If
    I enter credentials it ask again for identical authentication (repeatly), if I cancel it shows a second one that instead allows me access (are slightly different).
    I assume that the first is the integrated Windows application and the second is basic authentication.
    Internet Explorer shows me only the first authentication request and if I cancel shows blank page.
    The problem is
    priority 2:
    Outlook connects without problems on LAN network, the Internet
    seems to download the correct information
    (autodiscover), but then does not connect
    to the server (connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable).
    If you manually edit the settings,
    auto-configuration server returns as
    a [email protected]. If I change
    manually the server (and proxy settings
    http), the result does not change.
    - Setting information -
    The server is installed
    in the LAN network and is exposed on the Internet through
    a firewall (Pat on port 443, et al. not 80)
    on a public address.
    The public and private DNS have been configured with a
    host record (A) and two
    CNAME (webmail and autodiscover).
    The internal Outlook clients connect
    with autodiscover and HTTPS /
    NTLM / SSL (Outlook connectivity
    status).
    IMAP, SMTP, POP, ActiveSync function.
    Exchange remote connectivity analizer retrieves Autodiscover information but doesn't pass test for RPC/HTTP access (it discard accesson
    port 443 and try port 80, SPF isn't configured).
    The navigation to the url
    https://proxyexternalURL/rpc/rpcproxy.dll  has the same behaviour like problem 1.
    Test-OutlookConnectivity returns unmanaged error ('WARNING: An unexpected error has occurred and a Watson dump is being generated: Failed to find the probe result for invoke now request id -- and probe workdefinition id --').
    Errors in eventviewer: 5011 - WAS (one time), 139 - MSExchange OWA (some not ripetitive), 3028 - MSExchangeApplicationLogic (every 6 hours), 106 - MSExchange common (many during working hour), 65535 - application (some at nighttime 00.00 - 03.00 a.m.), 1006
    - MSExchangeDiagnostic (every 30 min), 6002 - MSExchange Mid-Tier Storage (about every 5 minutes), 5 - MSExcahnge Workload Management (one time).

  • RoboHelp 9/Acrobat X Pro Integration with Outlook 2010

    Is anyone aware of any issues with RoboHelp 9 and/or Acrobat X Pro integrating with Outlook 2010? When I create a PDF for review using RoboHelp and then try to send it for shared review, I keep getting an error message when I try to add people to the To and CC lists in the Send for Shared Review dialog. Clicking either button brings up my Address Book from Outlook, and I can select people without any problems, but whenever I click OK, I get a Check Names dialog book that says:
         Microsoft Outlook does not recognize"/O=Company Name", Select the address to use:
         (No Suggestions)
    At this point, all I can do is go back to the Address Book and try to add people again, but this leads to the same error.

    In Outlook, go to File/Options/Add-Ins, and select Manage Com Add-ins, and click Go...
    Then make sure the PDFMaker Office COM Addin is checked, select OK, restart, and it should be available.

    I am working on LSO integration with Skillsoft via PI. I have already referred the PDF XI Configuration for SkillSoft Integration and also referred to the existing discussion posts in SDN
    The flow of interface in my scenario is
    Portal(FrontEnd) <-> ECC(BSP Application at Backend) <-> PI <---> External Learning Vendor(SkillSoft).
    1) Commnication is from SAP LSO System to Third Party(Skill Soft) through PI(XI).
    2) It will be synchronous call.
    3 ) From portal user should be able to register, book,Lauch, or Track the course and will get response back to SAP LSO system/portal from Skill Soft.
    4) Portal is the frontend and backend is the BSP application(ZHCM_Learning).
    Can you please let me know the details how to handle this scenario and pass the parameters like customerid, assetid,courseid etc to PI(XI). Also let me know what would be the best approach to follow in this scenario..Is there any BAPI / RFC available for this scenario or need to go via proxy.
    If we need to go via proxy.. how to pass data to PI as soon as user clicks on any actions(like registering/launching or booking the course) from portal. BSP is the backend application(ZHCM_Learning). Please guide me if someone has already implemented the similar scenario.

    We are having an error in the ESS qualty ..in the Reimbursement and claims screen. When we click on this link we are getting a warning message "Field outlook cahracetrs have not been maintined".Only default reimbursement types LTA and Medical allowance are appearing in the drop down for reimbursement type. All the paroll allowance groupings and claims configuration have been done. Please let us know the possible cause for the error.
    Note: The problem persists in Quality but working fine in Sandbox

    We have implemented EHP4 - WD ABAP based appraisals , we have used free enhancement  -HRHAP00_ENHANCE_FR11 to get the courses from LSO ( integration) .
    Through this badi we are able to see and add all the courses under lso , we have a requirement to restrict some courses which are maked " X" in table HRP1029 this infotype belongs to LSO.
    Please share your ideas on this, is this badi linked to - HAP_DOCUMENT_BODY- component -IF_HAP_LSO_COURSES_SEARCH ?

    I'm not sure this is really a web dynpro abap question.  Using the Portal APIs, Web Dynpro ABAP can trigger navigation to any navigation target configured in the Portal.  Reading your question, I get the impression that you want to know how to setup a navigation target in the portal for a specific CRMUI application point.  This seems more like a CRMUI or Portal question.

  • Outlook Addon will not load

    Upgraded SAP B1  from 2005 to 2007, had to roll it back to version because of Problems with our credit card application (CitiXsys). The roll back went well except the Outlook Addon will not load. I get the following error:
    BO_Outlook.exe - Entry Point Not Found
    This only affects 2 workstations. Re-installing the addon seems to have no affect.

    In order to try to resolve the issue, please do the following steps :
    1. Open Business one Choose Tools -> User Tables -> BFEXTDBVERSION -
        Extension DB version, then Remove the all lines with Extension ID = "BO".
        This is the entry for MS Outlook Integration Add-on.
    2.  After that please uninstall the OI addon and reinstall again as per SAP Note : 819501.

    Have you checked this issue from web access?
    If the email address is saved as a contact in your Outlook, please try to delete it and then try to reply to the email to test if the problem persists.

    We are doing exchnage 2013/2010 coexistence
    Most everything is ok BUT outlook autodiscover is not working for some exchange 2010 users now that 2013 is in the front!!!.  We end up creating the profiles manually.  It has affected some but not all the users.
    I followed the instructions here but it didn't help.

    If it is affecting only few handful of users i could suspect a mailbox corruption and would recommend to move mailbox and see the results.
    Also you can try below
    You need to set the values MaxFieldLength, MaxRequestBytes & MaxTokenSize to below on Exchange 2010 CAS servers as well as Exchange 2013 CAS servers

    No, the camera connection kit only supports the copying of photos and videos to the Photos app, it doesn't support copying content off the iPad. For your second camera instead of the SD reader part of the kit, does the iPad to camera cable not work with it for direct transfer to the iPad ?
    For Lightroom and Nikon software again no - you can only install apps that are available in the iTunes app store on your computer and the App Store app on the iPad, 'normal' PC and Mac (OS X) software are not compatible with the iPad (iOS).     Were the Office programs suddenly not working? Or it just can’t be open after you install it? Did you get any error message?
