Lumia 1020 can't take any high resolution pics aft...
Hi everybody, I'm new here...
I've got this Lumia 1020, and until the latest update it used to make 2 different pictures after one shoot: a low-res and a high res.
My latestt update: (Windows Phone 8.1; (8.10.12393.890) Revisionnumber firmware: 3051.50009.1424.0001; Revisionnumber hardware: 4.4.0.2
After the latest update my 1020 only makes low-resolution pictures.
Could anybody help me to find the right settings for making high-res pics again?
At the settings page I chose the Nokia camera instead of the Microsoft camera, and pressed the camera-reset button as well.

Thanks, after the update I had to retrieve my "Nokia Camera" app. The standard settings were JPEG 5MP.
I've been messing around with settings before, not being aware that I was in "Microsoft Camera" mode.
The update wiped away many standard Nokia apps, such as the Nav-system. I had to get them beack from the Nokia store.
So everything is allright now, thanks a lot!

The iPhone always takes photos at its highest resolution. If you share by anything other than copying to your computer via USB or sending via email the resolution will be reduced by the transfer medium. Email gives you a choice of resolutions, however, many email providers will not accept photos at the camera's highest resolution.
It's also possible that you don't understand how resolution is measured. Image file size has very little to do with image resolution. -
Is there a way to get a version of the Garage Band app that runs on version 5.1.1? I have an iPad 1 and can't get any higher iOS. The App store is telling me that Garage Band only runs on iOS 7.

I'm in Nova Scotia, Canada and when I try to use Siri it loads and loads and then says, "I'm really sorry about this, but I can't take any requests right now. Please try again in a little while."
I rebooted and it didn't fix the problem. I just got my iPhone 4s (unlocked right from Apple) several weeks ago.Siri has been a bit more erratic than usual in the last week or so. Apple has announced a major announcement for 9/12. Conclusions are left to the reader.

had the problem. My 3gs used Siri to dial phone numbers or use the address book to dial and I never had a problem with it.

My iPhone 4s is stuck in AirPlay screen. It won't shut off, software is current, it rings but the screen doesn't change so I can't take any calls. What do I do?
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPhone fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Can I show a higher resolution on my laptop screen than on a connected (VGA) projector?
Can I show a higher resolution on my laptop screen than on a connected (VGA) projector?
The projector is only 800 by 600 which screws up my desktop each time I project.
Additionally - if I use a remote desktop client for windows, the change in resolution makes the projection in windows unreadble.
Anything I can do?
Many thanks - MikeWill not work, most likely for BootCamp. Windows drivers for hunderbolt will only create digital (DVI), not analog (VGA).
Run Windows in Parallels/other-VM-software where OSX runs the Thunderbolt port, or by a USB-VGA adapter. -
after restoring the iPhone, the iPhone can not get the high resolution photo from album of iCloud, unless re-share all the photo to the iCloud.
If you plug up both to computer, open itunes, click "back up to computer" on both (not necessary for the one that's being transferred to) then on the one that's sending data click "back up" in the iTunes menu. It will then back up (if not already done in sync). Now plug up the second one (being transferred to) and on the iTunes menu, click "restore from backup" then choose the device you just backed up, and click "ok" or what it says.

Despite adding more storage = 20GB my devices tell me that I can not take any photos/video, why would this be?
Because the issue is that you don't have sufficient available space on your phone, not that you don't have enough space in your iCloud account. Adding storage in iCloud does not give you more space on your phone.
You can check your available space by going to Settings>General>Usage. You'll need to delete or sync some data off your phone to freee up more space. -
Siri can't take any request right now
I have an Iphone 4s and upgraded to 7.0.4. When i request Siri, she still answer me
"I am really sorry about this, but i can't take any requests right now. Please try again in a little while."
Its been 4 hours, and still the same message. This is my firts time using it.
Any Suggestions ?Do you have a good Internet connection? Siri requires the Internet to work fully.
EDIT: Also, it depends on where you are located. Siri does not work everywhere. See this support document and see if Siri works where you are located. http://www.apple.com/ios/feature-availability/

Siri can't take any requests right now
Both my dad and I have an iPhone 4S and both Siri and the keyboard dictation are not working for either of us. Siri says I'm really sorry but I can't take any requests right now. Is anyone else experiencing this?
You are not alone! mine has 5.1.1 still Siri is not working well.
