Lumia 720 update problem

Hello Nokia. My L720 can't get amber update, I worry my phone can't get 8.1. My country is Cambodia. I need help...

Amber or Black? What's the current Firmware Revision number of your phone? What can you see under Settings > Extras+Info? Any chance 'Lumia Amber' is displayed? Have you tried manually checking for an update? Go to Settings > Phone Update.

last night I slept with my Lumia 720battery life remaining upto 52 percent .when next morning I woke up ifound that only 5% battery is remaning.how is that possible.i am in big worry,what has happento my Lumia 720 .

Lumia 720 battery problem

I have been using my lumia 720 for almost a month now...
right now i am experiencing sudden loss of battery charge retention
Except my 2G connection all other network services are disabled(i have turned off location services, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, 2G Data Connection, no back ground applicatons either).
To test i fully discharged my lumia then charged to 100%
The "Battery Saver" in "Settings read" - Remaining battery life : 100%
Estimated Time remaining : 1 day 18 hours(Then i made a couple of calls(not more than 1 minute)
Then Remaining battery life : 97%
if i play music it drops to 50% in less than couple of hours
Are any of you experiencing this??

@Libbra - are you on 3G or WiFi? both the wireless connection options will consume more power.
Try this out, charge your Lumia 720 overnight. Unplug in the morning, and find out if there is any change in your battery charge retention.
i had tried out the above and battery charge retention improved. it lasted 4 days with occassional browsing over WiFi, some calls over 2G and occassional Nokia Maps Navigation. it didnt die on 4th day but i charged it up anyway.
The problem i reported earlier still prevails. if i remove the battery charging once it reaches 100% the charge retention is not good.

Dear Team,
I bought a Lumia 720 a month back. It was working fine till a few days bac. Now , i find that the display has become very transparent in the same im able to see the apps screen clearly running in the background, there are lines in the display and the brightness has gone for a toss. I tried adjusting all the settinsg but the display hasnt become normal .
Request your help in rectifying the issue.

Lumia 720, video problem

Am using Lumia 720 since from the last one and a half year....now my phone is running under the software of windows 8.1and it have a video version 2.6.258.updated today..it doesn't work in full screen mode...if I push the vedio in full screen, the vedio will be stuck.and the audio will be followed up..am not even signed in Xbox account..please fix it..

When did this happen? Can you confirm if you have the Lumia Cyan update under Settings > extras+info? Where did the videos come from? Are those videos taken by the phone? Does it happen with all of them? How about the videos that have been transferred from the PC to the phone? Did you encounter the same error? Lumia 720 display problem

I recently bought Lumia 720. I suddenly facing issue with display. When I press unlock button, my screen flickers and goes black. The screen respond properly only after a lot tries. My touch works when screen is black. I am able to answer call when it is black but not able to see who is calling. This happens everything I try to unlock the screen. Anyone having same problem or knows any solution

Lumia 720 Screen problem

My Nokia Lumia 720 has been behaving strangely for a few weeks now. I can turn on the phone but then when I try to enter my PIN number the screen will not allow me to. The screen jumps around erratically. I've tried doing a soft reboot & a hard reboot with no real success. I've done some research on the internet look on Nokia forums to find a solution and I've come to learn that other people are experiencing the exact same problem. Last week I had an accident with my phone, it fell out of my hand and cracked the screen. It was a very small crack on the corner of the screen (the black part of the screen) The phone still works apart from the issue I had before the phone fell. I've just gotten back from a Nokia Care Centre in Bellville, Cape Town called Cellectro. The technician of the store had a look at the phone and suggested i have the phone's screen replaced at a cost of R1900 (One Thousand Nine Hundred Rand) before he can check if the phone's hardware is faulty....That don't make much sense to me because I had the problem before the phone fell. Please advise what I can do to fix the problem.

Had the exact same problem with my Lumia 720 screen — the tiniest conceivable crack in the corner, and terrible screen jitters predating that. Went to Nokia Care and they told me the same thing they told you: broken, therefore out of warranty. And they quoted a fantastic price for part replacement. They wanted to replace the LCD and the digitiser. What I've been told to try, and I will just now at an independent repair shop (regardless of whether it voids the warranty, of which there's four months left), is to replace just the digitiser, because the LCD itself appears to work fine. This is much cheaper. Will tell you if that works — but in the meantime, what did you do with your 720 ultimately, and did it work?

Can you tell us the current firmware version number of your phone? To check, you may go to Settings > About. Do you have a stable Wi-Fi or a cellular data connection? You may also try activating and de-activating the Airplane mode under Settings. Also, check if there's an update for the phone system apps. See this: Lumia System Updater And then, try again.
Let us know how it will go.

Nokia Lumia 720 Screen Problem

Hi,
My 720 Lumia keeps blacking out randomly from hours on end before the screen is back up and runnign again. During this time though the phone is still on and I get texts and calls ook, but the screen is still not on. I tried the restart method to reboot the phone but ut didn't work. I can hit the lock key and the home, search and back buttons will still light up.
I've not a clue what is wrong with it. Any ideas?

Hi, Pendtoni93. Are you still having this issue? When you said 'restart method', did you press and hold the volume down and power keys together until the phone vibrates and starts up?

If no, please go to Settings > Phone Update to manually check for it. Ensure that the internet connection is active. Verify this by searching via Bing or browsing via Internet Explorer of the phone.

Therefore, did you consider to create a new thread just for that issue? In that new thread, please, mention: Windows Phone » menu » (do not open but long tap) WhatsApp:
A) Are you able to uninstall WhatsApp this way or
B) is Uninstall not available in that menu, or
C) is Uninstall grey?

Lumia 630 update problem

I am on developers preview, I get notification that update is available but after downloading 3% it Again says update available and starts over , this loop goes on, tried restarting but no help. Suggest something.

Lumia 720 - strange problem

Today after resetting my phone (hardware reset) when i drag my finger top to down on screen it is not showing any battery icon, network icon, wi-fi, etc. which is really frustrating to me. So guys can you please help me out on this.

Taping on status bar is also not working for me but it is also not working.
I know its not a much issue
but when something is not working correctly or not at all functioning it frustrates me either i use it on regular basis or not.
So here i tell the whole story about all this issue
Yesterday suddenly touch screen starts lagging and become unresponsive after which i restart my phone after which it works fine for few moments then again the same story lagging and unresponsiveness (i tried this 2-3 times ). Then when i some how manage to soft reset then phone then, my phone was stucked on revolving gears for ours then after some hard rest it managed to boot then i am stucked to this problem.
I think there might be some issue with os or some file has got corrupted...

How did you perform the restart? Is it by pressing and holding the Power and Volume down keys simultaneously for 10-15 seconds? If yes and didn't fix the issue, the next troubleshooting is to reset your phone. By the way, what do you mean by "i have to restart my phone but my all phone keys work after this problem"? If in any case that what you mean is that your phone's hardware keys are not working (Camera, Power/Lock, Volume down/up keys), here's the alternative way to do the reset:
Please make sure that the battery level is more than 50%. If not, charge your phone first for at least 20 minutes.
Switch off your phone and then disconnect the charger.
Press and hold the Volume down key, and connect the charger. Wait for an exclamation mark shown on the screen.
Press the keys in the following order: Volume up, Volume down, Power and Volume down keys. A rotating gear will show on the screen that indicates that your phone is resetting. This may take several minutes.
