Lync login issue with one domain but started working when domain is changed.

we have two domains in lync 2013 infra.i have enabled user id with one domain but its not allowing user to login.If we change user id to other domain it start working. it seems user id already existed somewhere in lync or active directory database. can
anyone tell how to remove complete user database so that the id can be assigned to other new users.

Did the user account also be deleted or disabled in AD? Disable account is different form remove account. If you disable an account the account is still stored in AD, whenever you need to enable it you can find it. So if you only disable the account who
leave the company, please remove the account and try again.

    A couple of questions...
    1. Does the unit immediately kernel panic when power from the bus hits the drive?
    2. Does it happen in multiple users?
    3. If you startup, interrupt the boot process and boot to the startup manager (by holding option on startup) and then plugin the SuperDrive does it kernel panic there as well?
    When a peripheral causes a unit to go into this state, there's little that can be done to troubleshoot from a software perspective. Especially if your answer to all three questions above was "yes." You can certainly try resetting the PRAM & SMC, to see if there is any change. But, I think the next best step might be to bring the machine and this optical drive to see a qualified technician.

  • Flash Player does not work with Standard User, but will work when browser is "Run as Administrator"

    I don't understand why this is happening, but Flash Player will not work when a Standard User is using the browser. It will only work when the browser is run as an administrator. Any way to fix this? I've tried to uninstall, and reinstall the player, and it still wouldn't work.
    The user is on Windows 7, 64-bit. Using IE 10.

    Any update to provide at all here guys?  Again, in my situation, it's very much rights-related as a standard user doesn't even report that the flash player exists when testing it on the Adobe Flash Version Detection website (despite it showing up in Control Panel and under Add/Remove Programs).  I've already tried giving the C:\Windows\System32\Macromed and files/subfolders appropriate permissions for the standard user and still nothing.  If I either give the user in question full local admin rights or logon as the domain admin, then the Adobe Flash Version Detection website says Flash is installed and Flash works fine.

  • Connection issues with one computer - but not any other computer or iphone

    I have a strange problem…. well, really it is my friends/co-workers problem, but I am his sponsor so I feel I need to be there for him.
    We are both school teachers - and to help us in the eduction of our students we have created a wireless network (hidden so we don’t get caught!) that we can use in our area of the building. We have had it for several years and we have both hooked up to it regularly using our laptops and our ipod touch/iphone. Just recently my co-workers computer stopped being able to access the internet through the airport. We checked the settings, threw out the settings and re-entered them. Turned off the airport, turned it back on - typed in the network settings, connected - but no internet. We ran disk utility and repaired disk permissions. We have even gone as far as to create a new user…. still no luck. I have shut down and restarted the airport at school, still the issue remains.
    He can see the shared disk attached to the airport, he sees my itunes library, I see his - and the rest of the teachers in the school see both of ours (we are music teachers, so our libraries are rather extensive!) and are constantly listening to our shared libraries. We know he is connected to the network, he just cannot access the internet. However, when he plugs in to the network (same settings) via ethernet - there is no problem he gets right into the network.
    We both have airports at home - and we both have no problems connecting at home.
    There are only two things that have happened since we noticed this problem… 1) is Snow Leopard - we believe the problem started AFTER that upgrade. and 2) we just got a new iMac Lab (I am teaching a new class - Audio Engineering this year) and in the lab I put a legal Airport - but that one IS NOT connected to the school network at all - it just allows all of the iMacs to access the shared hard drive (easier than running cable). This airport (new one - two channel) sits between his office and the old airport (single channel) that we use to access the internet and school network. I don’t think this is the problem as I have turned off the “new” airport and the problem remains.
    Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

  • Having issues with one page of a website when viewed on the iPad?

    We recently created a 6 page website through Adobe Muse. When we view the published website on our desktop, everything seems to be working fine. However, when we view the website on our iPad, one of the pages (the "about us" page) seems to be "left aligned" while all the other pages seem to be "centered", which is the way we want it. All of our page properties are the same and I have checked for any objects or materials outside the white canvas. We cannot seem to figure out the issue in regarding the website on the iPad.   • Dns issues with one domain (Resolved)

    i'm currently having dns issues with one domain, in that it won't resolve when I use bt's dns servers.
    The domain is owned by a friend in the US who runs his own server for irc, web, and I also have a server that is on his connection, and resolves fine from other machines on different networks, and also resolves fine when I set windows to use the opendns servers, but when it's set to either my routers ip (using bt's dns), or set to automatic (using bt's dns via the homehub), this one domain will not resolve.
    I'm pretty certain it's not a windows issue, as it's a clean install of windows 7 that I did yesterday. I've tried rebooting the homehub, and also flushing my dns on windows, but this has not solved the issue.
    As I say, it resolves fine on other networks, and also when I use the opendns servers, so I know it's definately a dns issue.
    Using bt's dns servers:

    Has anyone got any ideas on how to sort this out? Preferably without having to phone the helpdesk...lets just say i've done it in the past, and according to the poeple I spoke to in india, I knew nothing about my own systems, and it was a problem at my end...which was not the case, and I proved this several times.
    Edit: This issue appears to have resolved itself, and the domain is now resolving again using the homehub for dns resolution.

    When NSLOOKUP starts, before anything else, it checks the computer's network configuration to determine the IP address of the DNS server that the computer uses.
    Then it does a reverse DNS lookup on that IP address to determine the name of the DNS server.
    If reverse DNS for that IP address is not setup correctly, then NSLOOKUP cannot determine the name associated with the IP address.

We rebooted and can log into Novell client but the login prompt did not appear for ESM client or the icon was not in the systray. Everything seems to work, besides at times (a couple times today) it terminates his ethernet card/connection. I would re-image his computer but he has several applications and it would take several hours, so I am hoping someone has an idea to fix this issue. So I was trying to figure out why he did not get the prompt to login and why it's not in the systray and it appears to not have completed the install? I checked the add/remove programs, its not listed within their, I also checked the registry and found nothing for endpoint within their, but the files are within c:\program files\novell\zenworks endpoint security.
    I have also tried uninstalling it but that fails due to it "not being installed", and it will not reinstall over itself either.
    I did notice that stuninstdrv.exe is running in task manager. Any help would be great...

    If you are searching the registry, check for the "Senforce" string. It should be at HKLM\Software\Senforce
    Try running the install program for the ZSC with the following command line:
    setup.exe /V"STUNINSTALL=1"
    If you've specified an uninstall password, try this one instead:
    setup.exe /V"STUNINSTALL=1 STUIP=password"" (please note the double quote at the end)

  • Issues with one of the 2 ISP links

    Hi,
    My tmg 2010 always had 2 ISP links and it worked ok with load balance (no issues at all). Recently I got another ISP link and changed with one of the previous working ones.
    Since then, the internet navigation seemed to work very well.. but some applications related to office 365 (lync and outlook) does not connect when the traffic is routed through this new ISP. The apps work with the first link but not with this new one. Without
    TMG, the apps do work on this new link!
    What can cause this?

    Yes, I removed the other ISP cable and the internet works well on this new link, except for some applications like lync and outlook (office 365).
    During TMG live log, there is no denied packets. I tried rebooting the firewall machine but still no success.
    things I tried without success with this new link:
    - change the NIC.
    - put a router between the link and the firewall and assign a private IP schema (our other link is routed to a private address. This new one is given directly at the interface).
    - create an excpetion to allow all traffic from a testing machine.
    Our l2tp/ipsec vpn (that always worked on both links) does not connect too on this new link. 
    That does not make sense at all.

  • Cant click and drag with one finger, but works with 3 fingers

    Last week, my trackpad starts to fail. Thing is that i can't click and drag with one finger but if i turn on the 3 finges option, i can tap and drag without a problem Check the prefs, universal access too. And everything is ok.
    Reset pram, smc , run & fix permissions but nothing.
    Looking around the internet i found a possible hint and is related to a bad battery condition. But that post talks a physical defective battery. Mine last like 2 hours.Under the battery icon in the finder it saids tha should be replace soon.  Macbook pro late 2008. 4 gb ram , 500 gb hd, 10.7.3

    It sounds like an accessibility feature, although I'm not 100% sure. You can explore the accessibility settings if you like, or for a quick fix you can try going into Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings.

  • Login Issues with World of warcraft

    So here is my issues....
    Several weeks ago I had an issues with my MacBook pro locking up when I attempted to log in to World of Warcraft. As soon as the login info was inputted, and I pressed enter, the game froze at login but the game sound continued to play. I was able to resolve the issue by removing all my 3rd party addons and *** folder, and deleting my cache files for WoW. The game worked fine until last night when the issue returned.
    I spent about an hour on the phone with Blizzard Tech support, who came to the conclusion that I needed to download the 10.5.5 combo update. That didn't fix the problem. I attempted the usual Addon/***/cache delete, and that didn't work. I even updates all the secondary programs for Leopard and that failed to help. I finally decided to completely reinstall the game and see if that would work; and the same issue persisted. My brother, who also runs a Macbook pro but with 10.4.11 is having the same issue. My PC works just fine, though, and the WoW Beta servers and PTR realms all work fine.
    The only thing that seems to be different from when it worked normally was the update of Mac OsX to 10.5.5 and the newest patch for WoW. I know I am not the only person with these issues, as the WoW Mac forums are exploding with similar issues. I was just hoping that maybe someone would have insight as to how to fix the problem, seeing as how Blizzard's tech team has taken a break for the weekend.
    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Try this out:
    Go to your Applications > World of Warcraft folder and Get info (right-click for menu or command-i, I think) Click the lock at the bottom to make changes. Make sure everyone has read/write permissions. Then click the cog/gear at the bottom and apply to all files in the folder.

    What is the make & model of your home Wi-Fi router that you are attempting to connect your G5 iMac to? Which exact model of iMac do you have?
    What wireless security type is your router using: WEP, WPA, or WPA2? If you temporarily disable wireless security, can the iMac connect to it now?
