Encore keeps crashing, my screening is tomorrow please help!

Hi,
I made a dvd with a menu with 4 buttons, going to 4 different videos. The videos all resort back to the main menu. The main menu has a loop.
My first time working on it, the dvd came out fine, when playing on the computer using the dvd player app. The buttons highlighted, and I was able to click on everything. When I put the dvd into an actual dvd player hooked up to the tv, there were no buttons highlighted. I couldn't scroll through any menus. I could only play the first video [since play button is the default] ...
Right now I started all over from scratch. I set up the .m2v files exactly like Video Copilot's Recon Man DVD Authoring tutorial.

When I did a preview of it, everything was great! The menu / loop worked awesome all the clips played fine. When I went to burn to a dvd and clicked build, it stopped, and said the menu was corrupt. The second and third time I tried, Encored just crashed...
I tried doing a "test project" after, and Encore would crash on that too!
The only difference that I have done from the tutorial was made the button an underline instead of an overlay.
When you choose different options, it looks as if your option is underlined. I just made a very skinny rectangle. I also have a rectange overlaying the letters, set with the eye switch off, for a clicking field if your using a mouse. Could this be the problem?
The first time, I didn't use a clicking field just the underlined skinny rectangle so I don't think it could be the problem.
Should I just try and make a new menu again exactly the same?
I'm about to graduate and I have an important demo reel screening tomorrow... I need 30 dvd's real soon and I'm bugging out!! Please help!

I finally got a burn...
I managed to set up a dvd menu without the presents and have it be blank.
I think the burning problem were either two issues:
• Customizing the party menu by just deleting it's pre made stuff and going on from there or,
• When I was making a custom button in PS similiar to Kramers, I made an invisible clicking field by using the marquee tool instead of the rectangle tool.
This time I used the rectangle tool.
Either way,
It burned and plays fine on the computer...
The issue is... I can't choose different menu's when its in a real dvd player hooked up to a tv!
For my button highlights, I have a red line underline what your about to choose. When I'm watching it on the tv, theres no red line and no button highlights.
If you press up or down nothing happens. The only option you can basically do is click play and have it default to playing the first thing on the dvd.
I'll atleast be able to present my reel at the screening tonight, because my main reel is the first one and they just have to click play...
But I don't want to give out multile copies to employers of a dvd with this issue.
What can I do about the button situation on an actual dvd player? I tested it out on two dvd players so I dont think its the dvd player thats the issue...

Mac Book with Additional Screen

I have mac book with external screen. I have attached cables to screen and have power. How do I get screen from mac book to show on larger screen?

I wonder if you are asking how to get any image on your external screen at all (rather than how to make it mirror your MB). You did not say what connection you are using (VGA, HDMI or DVI), not whether you get any response from your external screen, but the first place to go is to the Displays panel in System Preferences. There, you should be able to see that the external display is recognized and you can select its resolution and position it in relation to your PB screen (or set it to "mirror") if wanted.

Sorry no Apple will not replace it. What happened was an accident and the Apple warranty does not cover accidental damages.
So it looks like you will need to buy a new computer or pay to have your Mac fixed.

If you keep getting a 'red' message it means that the HDD is faulty and will have to be replaced. You will have to format the new HDD in Disk Utility>Erase and then install the OSX and your data from Time Machine.

Open Users & Groups preferences. Click on the Login Items tab on the upper right. Locate the entry for Terminal, select it, click on the Delete [-] button at the bottom.

Audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store.
