Mac outlook 2011 not display "Contact and Recent addresses"

I just installed Mac outlook 2011 in my new 2014 Macbook Pro OSX 10.9.4
When I type email address to the bar it does not display "Contact and Recent addresses" to list all the typed email address. Only if I press "tab" button, it will finish the rest of the address. The point is I cannot choose the address
from a list of same name persons.
However, it works well in my old Mac Book pro. OSX 10.9.3

Mac Outlook 2011 Not Syncing After User Is Migrated from 2007 to 2013

I have a couple users using Outlook for Mac 2011 (14.4.1) that have trouble automatically syncing their mailboxes after being migrated from our Exchange 2007 environment to our Exchange 2013 environment. When they kick off a manual sync, it works
fine. Automatic syncing is very hit and miss and can go for hours before syncing. Identities, accounts, and profiles have been rebuilt without success. Is there something to look for client side or perhaps server side in EWS settings? Thanks.

Does this syncing issue occur in OWA?
If it works well in OWA, it seems an issue on the Outlook for Mac 2011 side.

Sorry for the lack of knowledge on Mac. If there is safe mode in Mac, I suggest run Mac under the safe mode to avoid some AVs and add-ins for testing.
If the syncing issue exists in OWA, I suggest collecting app logs for the further troubleshooting.

HT1692 Have recently installed itunes and outlook on a new computer. Have multiple email accounts set up in Outlook tho only use contacts and calendar in relation to one of these. Cannot sync itunes with the correct contacts and calendars, Help!

My new computer is 64-bit running Windows 7 pro, SP1 and Microsoft Office 2010 Pro Plus 32-bit
My phone is a 4S runing iOS 6.1.3
Very frustrated now that I have recently installed itunes and outlook on this new computer. Everything worked perfectly ok on my laptop which was also 64-bit Windows 7 and running 32-bit Microsoft Office 2010 Pro. I have multiple email accounts set up in Outlook tho only use contacts and calendar in relation to one of these. Cannot sync itunes with the correct contacts and calendars, when I sync the calendar and contacts are empty. Not sure if there is any way to point itunes to particular address books and calendars.
I have installed and uninstalled itunes 3 times and thank goodness have a backup

I had my home computer set up to sync to work's Exchange server. It worked well, but I didn't like seeing work email messages and other programs trying to sync with my default Outlook folder, which was then the Exchange (& work related) .ost file. I know there are various ways to manage those problems using filters, view, subfolders, etc., but it was a hassle for me. I think it could work well for many other folks.
For now, I have published my work calendar and subscribed to that calendar on my home computer. So I have view only access to my calendar on my home computer (and I can add/edit calendar items on my iPad (or Outlook Web Access) when away from work). This is not quite what I wanted, but it may work.
It almost makes me long for the days when I used my Windows Mobile Treo to sync back and forth between exchange at work and outlook at home (but had many sync conflicts as a result).

Outlook "send to" does not display contacts

Using Outlook / Office 365, and Windows 8.1, with iCloud . All appears to be working, except when composing an email. Clicking either the "TO" or "CC" buttons opens the "Send to" dialog. No contacts are displayed there, and the address book pull down displays no address books.
I have completed the Apple Support trouble shooting process with no change.
How do I correct this?

I've got the same problem, sort of. One person in particular has a Vodaphone branded 6234, which insists on sending the number as a fully qualified international, that is, with the +61nnnnnnnnn.
I imported the contacts from a Sony-Ericsson on my SIM, which worked fine and they seem to have migrated seamlessly into the phone memory (I didn't do it!!!!!), and there are no duplicates. Other numbers show the person's names, but not this number,
My phone details are:

RM-122
Nokia 6110 (24.01)
I've deleted the contact from SIM, re-entered it from the keyboard, copied it to the SIM, all in various combinations -- nothing works. This person/number has NEVER been duplicated (apart from the SIM and phone memory).
Is this something I have to live with, or is there a fix?

been through the ringer...called Microsoft, contacted Gmail, Apple and a tech support from my IProvder. With that being said I have another mac, iMac 2013 with the exact same version of Mac Outlook 2011 that works...I went through the 2nd step verification and had to delete as it was causing even more problems.
Should be a simple set up of google but Mac Outlook 2011 won't take it. My internet google acounts are all working and so is my MAC mail.
Any direction or help would be appreciated.

These instructions will have to be modified if you've moved the iTunes folder from its usual location.
Back up all data before proceeding.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

If you haven't tried already, plug your devices into iTunes, and on each device next to the "Summary" tab at the top is another tab called "Info." Click that and scroll down to Contacts, Calendars, etc. There should be a pull down bar under each category for "Sync contacts from..." and you should be able to select from that pull down list Outlook. Hit Apply at the bottom and see if that does it.

Quit the messages app and reset your phone.
Go to the Home screen and double click the Home button. That will reveal the row of recently used apps at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold on the app in question until it jiggles and displays a minus sign. Tap the minus sign to actually quit the app. Then tap anywhere on the screen above that bottom row to return the screen to normal. Then restart the app and see if it works normally. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart.
After the phone restarts go into Messages and delete the thread containing the problem message.

PC suit does not displays messages and contacts

I have Nokia N73 and I have installed Nokia PC suite which displays my images and videos but not my contacts and messages. When I open my contacts in PC suit it displays error that Refreshing contact list fail and during synchronizing PC suite gives warning that your mobile phone is not responded. Please tell me possible suggestions to solve this issue.

Not sure if you've still got the problem, but try the Nokia Suite Cleaner and check the Owner permissions on the user profile in C:\Users or C:\Documents and Settings and its subdirectories.

Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access - delete the password there. While there, Keychain Access menu/First Aid.

Sounds like you may have a hardware problem since it won't read from DVD, and it is only a year and a half old. Hopefully all it is, is bad RAM*:

yes, you can locate and copy a file from your HD to a USB key using UNIX commands. If you know the exact name of the file which you’re trying to locate, try this:
find / -iname filename -print
This command will search your entire internal disk for the particular filename. If you know that it’s within a particular user account, then you can save search time with this variation:
find /Users/username -iname filename -print
Either variation of this command will print all files found which have the given filename. Presuming that you’re able to identify the correct file, you can copy it to a USB key using the command
cp -p filename_returned_by_find /Volumes/USB_volume
If you’re not sure which volume name your USB key has, this command will show you what the possibilities are:
ls /Volumes

Cant Sync Mac Desktop Software with Mac Outlook 2011

I cant Sync Mac Desktop Software with Mac Outlook 2011, Calendar and Contacts etc.
The sync button is not highlighted on the BB Mac Desktop Software therefore it can't be clicked.
I have turned on sync in Outlook in Preferences under Sync Services.
In the BB Deskstop Software, when i click on the Calendar function, it says "There are no writable Calendars available for syncing on this computer. The Contacts section says "sync services is currently turned off on this Mac"
I have updated both the Deskstop software and Mac Outlook to the latest updates.

First off, you must have installed one of the compatible Desktop Organizer apps:
KB12268Applications supported by BlackBerry Desktop Software for Windows for synchronization
Attempting to use anything NOT on that list will, of course, fail.
Secondly, you must have not have Outlook installed as "Click To Run":
KB24040 Support for Microsoft Office 2010 Click-to-Run installation
If you have it installed in that manner, you must correct that.
I have no idea how your prior machine was configured, but I know 100% that you can synchronize to a Win7X64 Laptop with Outlook 2010...I do it all the time.

Outlook 2011 problem syncing contacts with address book

I am aware that Lion has broken the sync ability of Outlook 2011 with Address Book. Hopefullly this will be fixed at some point.
So my problem is that I have decided to use a workaround to get my Address Book contents into Outlook 2011. I am not concerned with further syncing at this point. I just want to get my addresses into Outlook and hope a better fix is offered at some point.
About the only way I could figure out how to do this was to export my Address Book as vCard. I then imported the vCard file into Gmail and then exported that as a CSV file. It contained 550 addresses. I opened it in Excel and it contained 550 rows. Great so far.
I then Imported into Outlook 2011 and chose import a text file. When the mapping window opened, it showed over 890 files instead of 550 and the fields were not mapped correctly. I could not complete the import because it was so screwed up.
So I'm back to square one and very frustrated. There must be others who have the same issue and maybe have figured out a way to do this. Please help.

I'm interested in potentially running my PC product( PC Hunter) on a new MacBook Pro using Parallels. I currelty email out of the app via PC Outlook thus keeping all my email in one place. Does anyone have experience using a virtual PC product to email and has successflly connected it to Mac Outlook 2011 thus having only one main email client ....not two( one Virtual PC) and one Mac

Mac Outlook 2011 crashes when trying to export; cannot transfer data to Mac Outlook 365

I downloaded the new Outlook 365 for the Mac, but I want to transfer all my Mac Outlook 2011 data into it. It doesn't seem to read that there is any Outlook 2011 data on my computer, so I attempted to go into Outlook 2011 and export all email data. Unfortunately
it crashes the program every time, without any message that a normal human being can interpret. So I'm stuck on Outlook 2011 right now.
I have tried rebuilding my identity from scratch in Outlook 2011 and it did nothing to solve the problem, except make my "Unread Emails" smartfolder stop working (it no longer refreshes, and shows both read and unread emails and no new emails).
So in trying to solve one problem I caused another.

For Outlook for Mac for Office 365, we recommend you remove Outlook for Mac 2011 before installing it. If you installed it side-by-side with Outlook 2011, you can import data from it after the installation, but you should be aware of these
known issues in Outlook for Mac for Office 365 first.
