Macbook has been hacked and Genius Bar cannot help..anyone here please?!

My MacBook has been hacked, the mouse started moving on its own and clicking etc. the next day someone called my home and told me my system had been hacked, which I guessed was the mouse activity. So I downloaded the programme they asked me to, stupidly, which enabled them to remotely control my computer. The screen went blue and they started opening my documents / creating folders etc. I had a nasty feeling the whole time and when this happened i force shut down my latop. Ever since then sporadically the mouse will start playing up and clicking onto things etc. Everytime this happens I immediately shut down. I have been to Apple 3 times and had my computer wiped but it still happens. trackpad has been tested and is fine. I have called my internet provider and they say nothing looks out of the ordinar. Called a non emergency police number and other than advising me to change passwords and Bank details, which I had already done, no one can help me. I have adjusted my computer security settings, unplugged my internet cables etc. I literally can't think what else I can do to try and fix this. I work freelance design and my laptop is so important, I'm getting so frustrated that nobody can help!! please get in touch if you can help me!! Thanks a lot.

Have you checked lately to see how much free space there is on the disk? Especially since iPhoto freezes at launch ...
Click your Apple menu icon top left in your screen. From the drop down menu click About This Mac > More Info > Storage
Make sure there's at least 15% free disk space.
And make sure the OS X software is up to date.
Click the Apple  top left in your screen.
From the drop down menu click: Software Update
If you have anti virus software installed or are using third party Mac cleaning utiliites, that may be part and parcel of the your problems.

I'm wondering if my macbook has been hacked!

I'm running Mavericks with all the updates on my new macbook air. I have had this machine for a month or so. Yesterday some members of my family contacted me saying they had received spam messages from my email account. Needless to say, I didn't send those.
I can see that at least two different spam messages have been sent with my account to all my contacts as some of this messages bounced and came back to me.
I changed all my passwords, installed and ran ClamXav which didn't find anything. I also contacted support, and we went through all those security related settings. Support thinks I should be fine now.
Is there anything else I can/should do?

My account has been hacked and my credit card charged by the hacker and all Skype has to say about it, is that I need to wait 72 hours for them to look at my query? I cannot log into my account. I have filled in the support form, but I haven't received an email notification from Skype that I have submitted it. I'm guessing that's because my account is now in the use of someone else, as the hacker changed the account over to his email address. I know he did that, as I got a notification of changing the email address at the same moment as I was logged out of Skype. I use Skype professionally and this issue is causing me a world of trouble. The fact that Skype is a paid service ought to mean that there is better support than 'we will look at it within 72 hours.'

So nearly 24 hours later, and still no information either in this forum or via email notification from Skype. Does this mean that Skype is instead communicating with the person who hacked my account? Since the hacker now has my account registered with their email address, It seems that's the most likely situation, given the unparallelled course of incompetence I'm experiencing from them. If Skype had taken action on this right away (the moment I made the complaint, which was minutes after my account was hacked) the charge that the hacker made on my credit card would not be lost due to his usage of my account. But apparently, stopping fraud is so low on Skype's agenda that this can go on and on. If I had not been on Skype when it happened (prompting me to instantly block my credit card) there would have been nothing to stop the hacker from making multiple charges to my card, potentially running into the hundreds of dollars. Instead of action to deal with my problems, I'm receiving notifications that I have earnt 'a new rank' in the Skype community. Whoop-dee-bleedin'-doo!

A serious error has been detected and Adobe EPIC_APP cannot continue

I have Adobe Acrobat Professional installed as part of a legal copy of CS3 Web on a Dell Lattitude D830 with Vista Business SP1. I have been using Acrobat without a problem until the latest update (8.1.2). After the installation I now get "A serious error has been detected and Adobe EPIC_APP cannot continue. Please reinstall the application and try again".
PS I opened Photoshop, Dreamweaver and other programs in the suite and do not have a problem. A search on the forums and Google shows other people with the same problem but no solution. Any suggestions?

An answer I found on Yahoo seems to solve the problem. I'm leaving it here in case someone else has the same problem:
Uninstall.
Reboot.
Install with Admin privileges ( right-click on setup.exe >Properties>Compatability Tab> Select Run as Admin)
Run it at least once from an admin account so it has access to Shell32.dll and can set the proper settings.

If your MacBook was off when dropped, the Hard Drive can sometimes survive a crash that will break the screen.
To access it, you will need to remove the drive and place it in a 2.5" format drive enclosure. If you dropped today's MacBook, it would require a SATA connector inside. Some really old ones may be ATA drives.
USB interface on the outside will be really slow, but is really cheap. If you think you might want to use the enclosure later for anything except backup-only, upgrade to a FireWire enclosure. OWC has a few different ones:

Have you contacted your card issuer to cancel that card and changed your iTunes account password ? Text messages are not sent to Apples icloud so not possible there.
If you are using Verizon's messaging there may be a way to view your text messages from a computer and another device on your account. But you have to turn on Verizon's integrated messaging and the person must have your password to view them from the web.

The hackers added two pakistan subscriptions and my debit card attached to my account was charged $49.99 and $29.99. I immediately cancelled the subscriptions and changed my password. You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Email has been hacked and cannot recover

I have a huge problem with my primary account.
All a sudden I was not able to access it and all my contacts received
a spam email from my account. I have tried everything in getting back on
(recovery, phone code, secret answer). It is clear that I have been hacked.
I do not know who to contact or to help me. This has been my main email for the
past 10 years and all my accounts/ contacts are linked to this email.
Could someone please help me on what to do with this issue? I do have proof of ownership
of this email.
As I said I tried the recovery page answering everything to the folders in the mail up to subject
titles. It says that they cannot identify me. I am wondering if the hackers have deleted everything
on my account.
What could I do? is there anything I could do on my end? This email address is very important to
my personal life and to my business as I am a freelancer.

If this is about an account on Office 365 (or Google, Yahoo!, or some other service provider) you'll have to contact them This forum is for Exchange server. If you're using your own (or your company's) Exchange server then your local admin should be
able to change your password.
