Machines not showing up in AD group based collections in CM 2012
Hey Folks
I am facing a wired issue, with collection based on AD group. We have added multiple machines to a AD security group. All these machines are already discovered in CM12. AD group has been added in AD group discovery & we a collection is created based
on this particular AD group. The issue is that there are few machines which are not showing up in AD group collection.I have tried to manually update collection membership, run full discovery : AD system discovery & AD group discovery. When i check that
machines properties in SCCM console the specified AD Group is not showing there. Not sure how do i proceed further.
Thanks in anticipation.

We need the your collection query and colleval.log to check the issue. Can you please provide the info here?

Users added to Profile Manager not showing up in everyone group
So profile manager was working quite well until I made a change to the workgroup group.
I removed the password policy from the workgroup group and added a new group for the password policy so we could essentially still manage non user assigned iOS devices.
Now when I add a new user to the workgroup group on the server I have them login to the mydevices site so we can enroll the device and they can login but are immediately presented with:
"You do not have permission to access the page you were looking for. Contact your system administrator."
In troubleshooting the issue I noticed that new users being added are not showing up the in the everyone group which is preventing the users from having proper access. Prior to all this I could add a user and they would show up in everyone as intended.
Any thoughts?I'm not sure if this is the same issue, but I have a user in Server.app that is not showing up in Users group. She is listed in her sub-group, but I cannot add devices to her account. When I click on the arrow next to her name in the sub-group, it takes me to the Users list to the top user.
Any thoughts? -
Hi all
We are rebuilding our Mac server. Now, our machines join to OD and AD fine and I have tested the user (I have set up software restrictions for a bank of users and they are restricted when I log on) and it pulls down OD policies ... however in WGM no Computers appear
http://www.edugeek.net/attachments/forums/mac/10989d1312988899-macs-not-showing- od-nomachine.jpg
It is really spooky as when I try and add the iMac manually with it's afp:// address it says it exists, but obviously that is useless to me as I need to put them into Computer groups to pull settings down.
ideas?
Cheers

IPhone not showing all replies to group messages
In the last month my iPhone 5 has stopped showing all replies to group messages.
For example a friend shall send a group message to another friend and I, I shall either not see this message but see another friends reply in a text message that appears to be between the two of us. Or see the group message as an individual conversation between two people with no replies from other parties.
I am currently running iOS 7.1.1
Can anyone help me?did you ever fix this issue?? Same thing happening to me as well.

Edited by: Rob Burbank on Jul 18, 2011 9:52 AMHi Adnan;
Are you sure you haven't dont release second or more requests for FG?
If you have more requests, your FG may hasn't be last FM list.
Yo can check below include in SAPLZ<FG> function pool.
INCLUDE LZ<FG>UXX. " Function Modules
Are you seeing last FM list?

Effictive Permissions not showing up for security groups after interforest migrations using ADMT
Hi there,
I"m trying to fix an issue with the effective permission, below is the description
Two separate forests exist with respective domains DomainA and DomainB.
A two-way trust has been established between these two domains.
I migrate a user (using ADMT) from DomainA to DomainB.
After migration the user account in DomainB has access to the same shares and folders on file servers in DomainA as it did with the user's account in DomainA.
when i checked the effective permission of the migrated security group it does not show up any tick mark on the permissions. but still end users are able to access the resource on file server
Thanks in advance for any advice you may have to offer.
-VijayHi,
After the user migration, did you finish the Security Translation?

Issue with AD group based collection
Hi,
We are using AD security group based membership. Also, we are uing the same SCCM infra to cover other domains as well.
From Activie Direcoty, it could able to discover the machines (computer objects) belongs to other domains but those computer objects not reflecting onto the collections.
Any suggestions woud help us!
Many Thanks.Check your collection refresh interval also is any machines added to the AD group getting populated ie. from the same domain xxx ? if so, i think you need to add the IP sub-net details on the boundary and
also discover the another domain machines using LDAP query for it(ex. sccm discovers and manages xxx domain where as its not discovering yyy domain machines becoz its not discovered ,you can also do it using the IP subnet details ie n/w discovery) the
machines to the ALL systems then it may get added to the collection.

Hello I am tying to learn SharePoint at a "Throwing you into the Lions with a toothpick" way. I can create basic columns and work in SharePoint designer fairly OK. Now I am trying to update one of my list with the following and I cannot seem
to know how to start this off. I am looking for a way to learn it and not have the answered provided to me. So if it can be done in SharePoint all I need is guidance and I will trek and learn what I need to make it work.
This is what I have in mind see if its possible:
If column "Do you like beer" (Yes/No) = yes
Then display (Choice) Drop down list
20 options
Mandatory Field, must select one
If not then show (Person or Group) 2 fields
Name of beer = [Enter Beer Name]
Maker of beer = [Enter Beer Maker]
Mandatory fieldHello Matrixwolf,
As i understand you want to show column based on selection in list. You can use Jquery/javascript to hide/show column based on selection and also use Jquery to make those fields mandatory.
Before you begin just remember that "Person or Group" only use to select people OR sharepoint group (as you mentioned in 5 point) so you may use simple text column to capture those details.
Here is some ref links for jquery implementation:
http://www.sharepointnadeem.com/2013/09/sharepoint-showhide-list-column-based.html
http://bingggg.blogspot.sg/2011/11/showhide-columns-based-on-drop-down.html
Your should be:
1. Create columns in list as per your requirement
2. Then open newform.aspx and editform.aspx pages, and use content editor webpart on that page to use jquery.
You can search on Bing/Google about content editor webpart and its uses.
Another way, you can modify the list form infopath designer and use infopath rule to hide/show the column.
Hope it could help

Business View change does not show in existing Parameter Group
I have an existing report that includes a dynamic, cascading LOV and associated parameter group. The LOV is based on a Business View.
I modified the Business View to limit the available values. (Actually, I modified the Data Foundation and then updated the Business Elements, Business View, and LOV.) I cleared the LOV using the Business View Manager, rescheduled the LOV, and received a message indicating that the refresh was Successful. If I open the report, the old list of values are still displayed.
To test, I created a new report. I used the Enterprise as the data source and selected the Business View used by the LOV and parameter group. If I query the Business View, I only see the rows I expect to see after the change made to the Data Foundation, Business Elements, Business View, .....
How do I force the existing report to use the current LOV?
thanksPlease check whether the following SAP helps:

Some database fields do not show up in Insert Group
Windows 7 64-bit, CR2010, VS2010.
Used the report wizard to create a report. Selected three tables Proc, Proj and a cross-reference table (relationship) table called Proc_Proj. Both Proc and Proj contain a field called "Name" nvarchar(max). Links show up fine, and I pick both "Name" fields to show up on the report.
When I get to the "Grouping" page, both "Name" fileds along with some others are missing in the Available Fields box. I have no idea why!
Please help! Thank you.Hello,
When you use a NVARCHAR(MAX) field type it tells CR it is 64K long. CR will not use that field type for Groups.
Only option is to change the type to a limited length like NVarChar(50) as an example.
I tested this in CR 2008 and it works the same way, can not choose that field type to group on.
Thank you

Time Machine not showing backups
Time Machine stopped backing up earlier this month and I have done numerous things to get backups again. Yesterday after upgrading memory on my iMac, not as a fix for Time Machine, I restarted Time Machine and it appeared to be backing up just fine. This morning when I looked at Time Machine preferences it does not display oldest or latest backup and when I open disk it shows 2015-01-24-083208.inProgress and if you look inside package it appears to have backups all the way back to when I started Time Machine back up. I have reformatted the drive during the process of trying to get backups working again and run disk utility and drive checks out fine. When it does a backup it shows progress bar and when complete tells when next backup is. I browsed through the folders in the 2015-01-24-083208.inProgress package and they do appear to be complete backups.

Hierarchical Tree not showing using a record group to populate
Hi, I am trying to set up an hierarchical tree. Can someone please give me the exact steps I need to take to get this right.
I am trying to create a hierarchical tree to behave like a menu on a Main form from where I will call the other forms of my application.
I have done the following
select 1, level, null, form_name, form_name
from iso_forms
connect by prior form_name=action
start with action is null
and get this when I run the statement in pl/sql
1 LEVEL NULL FORM_NAME FORM_NAME
1 1 Edit Edit
1 2 Holder Holder
1 2 Isotopes Isotopes

1 2 Personal Personal
1 2 Incident Incident
1 2 Equipment Equipment
1 2 Over Exposure Over Exposure
1 2 Archive Archive
1 1 Print Print
1 1 Queries Queries
My tree on my main form is still blank, I have checked that the tree is the only item in the block but I am not sure how to confirm that it is a control block. I created the tree in layout editor by clicking on the Hierarchical Tree icon on the left and then dragging out a block, so I am assuming that the block is of the correct type.
Thank you for your assistance
Michaela control block is one not based on a table/view/procedure . check the block's query data source name. its must be blank.
I suggest you create a procedure where you create the record_group using
CREATE_GROUP_FROM_QUERY,populate_group and ftree.set_tree_property
Here is my code that I i used to populate my tree .it works:
PROCEDURE populate_the_tree IS
grp recordgroup;
error_number number;
grpname varchar2(20) :='rg_group';
tree_id item :=find_item('ctrl.tree');
grp_qry2 varchar2(500) :='select -1,level,ename,null,empno from emp start with mgr is null connect by prior empno=mgr';
begin
grp := find_group(grpname);
if not id_null(grp)
then delete_group(grp);
end if;
-- grp := create_group_from_query(grpname,grp_qry1||grp_qry2);
grp := create_group_from_query(grpname,grp_qry2);
error_number:=populate_group(grpname);
if error_number <> 0
then message('Error while populating tree');
raise form_trigger_failure;
end if;
ftree.set_tree_property(tree_id,ftree.record_group,grp);
END;

Members of Domain Local Groups not showing up through net group command
Hello,
I am trying to get the list of members in a Domain Local Group using "NET GROUP" command, but unable to get the member list.
I get the message "group not found", whereas members of Global Groups are visible.
Thank you in advance !Unfortunately your post is off topic here, in the TechNet Site Feedback forum, because it is not Feedback about the TechNet Website or Subscription.
This is only one forum among the many that are on the TechNet Discussion Forums, and given your post, you likely chose the wrong forum.
This is a standard response I’ve written up in advance to help many people (thousands, really.) who post their question in this forum in error, but please don’t ignore it.
The links I share below I’ve collected to help you get right where you need to go with your issue.
For technical issues with Microsoft products that you would run into as an
end user of those products, one great source of info and help is
http://answers.microsoft.com, which has sections for Windows, Hotmail, Office, IE, and other products. Office related forums
are also here: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/support/contact-us-FX103894077.aspx
For Technical issues with Microsoft products that you might have as an
IT professional (like technical installation issues, or other IT issues), you should head to the TechNet Discussion forums at
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/en-us, and search for your product name.
For issues with products you might have as a Developer (like how to talk to APIs, what version of software do what, or other developer issues), you should head to the
MSDN discussion forums at http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/forums/en-us, and search for your product or issue.
If you’re asking a question particularly about one of the Microsoft Dynamics products, a great place to start is here:
http://community.dynamics.com/
If you really think your issue is related to the subscription or the TechNet Website, and I screwed up, I apologize!
Please repost your question to the discussion forum and include much more detail about your problem, that could include screenshots of the issue (do not include subscription information or product keys in your screenshots!), and/or links to the problem
you’re seeing.
If you really had no idea where to post this question but you still posted it here, you still shouldn’t have because we have
a forum just for you! It’s called the Where is the forum for…? forum and it’s here:
http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/forums/en-us/whatforum/
Moving to off topic.
Thanks

Alternating colors with drilldown groups not showing in the primary group.
Hi all,
Not sure if it is possible in SSRS but... My alternating colors work in my row groups of the drilldown group, but I also want the primary group (in my screenshot category) to be colored as well. Is this possible at all when my structure is like below?Hi Yvanlathem,
According to your description, you want to set the textbox background color only for the even rows within child group. Right?
In this scenario, we can put expression into Fill tab in Textbox Properties. We can use IIF() and RowNumber() to make the background color only apply on the even rows. Try the expression below:
=IIF(RowNumber("Parent Group Name") mod 2=0,"Color1","Color2")
We have tested in our local environment. It looks like below:
If you have any question, please feel free to ask.
Best Regards,
Simon Hou
